I can also say Real Madrid have a better chance of winning the Champions League but this is just a speculation. It is very possible that Real Madrid might not win the Champions League because we need to wait to see some matches played before the speculation can be more accurate. I am surprised that Manchester City is given a lower odd to Real Madrid. The odd will although be constantly changing.

I hope we don't forget that right now, Real Madrid might have the best players in the world but they aren't as completednas we think. Rodrigo, Vinicious and Mbape are wingers and the focus of the club was to get a striker but they where able to manage that this season. Unless they convert Mbape to striker and make him adapt to such position like they did to Benzema, someone has to step down whenever they want to start match.

There are also some speculations about the club turning to what has happened in PSG. Remember when PSG signed Messi and added him to Mbape and Neymar, they were the perfect combination any team would want to have but in the end, nothing to show the club for such combo, no Champions League and I pray these same faith doesn't happen to Babe if Real Madrid doesn't win Champions League later, they are going to ridicule him for leaving PSG.

we can start the speculations and what will be our favorite teams for next season
What do you think about it?
As a Real Madrid fan, I will obviously hope that Real Madrid wins the title, but still accept the fact that another team wins it.
Manchester City, Inter, PSG, Leverkusen, Real Madrid are the title winners in their respective leagues for the 2023-2024 season, so in my opinion they will be in the first caste to win the title compared to the others.

I haven't yet determined which teams are suited to being in the second tier next season, but there are plenty of teams who deserve to be there instead of ignoring them. Barcelona, Arsenal, Bayern Munchen, Dortmund, Milan, Juventus, Liverpool are good teams to hope for, but I would definitely settle for a first tier team that will win the title next season.

First of all, thank you for opening a new thread for the Champions League competition.

Well, several communities have predicted which candidates will win this competition. However, the fact is that the League hasn't started yet, and each team hasn't even played their pre-season matches. which means, we don't yet have a picture of the performance of the favorite clubs in the UCL. Apart from that, I always adhere to the principle as long as the competition has not started and the teams that are candidates have not shown their performance. I don't dare speculate too far, even though several teams have very competitive squads. for example, as was discussed by several members, if it is not Real Madrid it means Manchester City. Unfortunately, we are speaking based on assumptions because we don't yet know how each team fares in various competitions, including its domestic league. If the two teams, namely Real Madrid and Manchester City, were hit by a storm of injuries in the middle of the season, it could derail their progress in winning trophies in both the Champions League and domestic competitions.

Yeah, the competition isn't up and running yet anyway. what we might predict, or speculate, may not necessarily go smoothly. In fact, ups and downs can happen to even strong teams. although most of us agree, so do I. if Real Madrid theoretically has a very competitive team depth on all fronts. Likewise with one of the Premier League teams, Manchester City and Pep Guardiola knows very well that they have strong competitors in the Champions League. However, no one can guarantee that these two teams will enter the final. So, for now I'm just following each development first.

Here are the winning chance of each team to become a champion in the next season:

60% for Real Madrid
39% for Manchester City
1% for Arsenal, Inter, Milan, Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, Leverkusen etc. Tongue

Real Madrid without Mbappe can still become a champion in this season, so it's no doubt majority of people will believe in Real Madrid.
Real Madrid with Mbappe will of course make Real Madrid's chances of winning the title even greater, even without Mbappe alone, Real Madrid can win the Champions League title like this season, especially if there is Mbappe, of course Real Madrid will be stronger and Real Madrid will definitely not be easy to beat in Champions League and also the domestic league because I am sure that Mbappe's presence will definitely make Real Madrid stronger and Real Madrid's opportunity to win the Champions League title next season will be realized again with Mbappe who has a strong ambition to win the title that he has been waiting for since he was there. PSG, I can't wait to see Mbappe's performance next season while he is at Real Madrid. I think he will be the top scorer in La Liga.

Anything may change anything, and with Mbappe, Madrid has a better chance of winning it again next season, but sometimes a surprise side will overcome a great club and still win the cup, which is why football is so unpredictable. Manchester City will do everything in their power to prevent Real Madrid from winning the title next season, and I am sure Guadiola will sign new players. Even Bayer Munich will fight next season because they will not tolerate what happened to them last season, which allowed Real Madrid to defeat them, advance to the final, and win the Champions League title. And because they have signed a new coach next season, the Champions League will have many competitors in it and they will do anything possible to stop Real Madrid for winning the 16 trophy, but with Mbappe Madrid can get the chance and still win it because Mbappe is very talented and skilful key player and everyone knows him capable that is why everyone are saying Real Madrid still have hope against to win the title again.

Accepted. With Mbappe now in the team, they will be moving like a ghost and no club will be able to stop them from achieving all the trophies next season in any competition that they participate in.

Real Madrid will still win UEFA Champions League next season and I don't see any club that will be their rival. With the signing of Mbappe, I don't see Manchester city as a threat to them anymore.

Anyone can clarify this? Champions League is the premier club competition in Europe, not the "first cup”? The Europa League and Conference League are separate tournaments with their own prestige.

Any dark horses you think might shake things up this season? Who are your favorites to watch?

If only football was that simple. Football on paper is never the same as the actual thing. If football was played that way Dortmund has no business making it to the final, beating teams like Atletico Madrid and PSG. I can agree that they're favourites, Madrid is always among the favourites when it comes to the Champions League, but that doesn't make them unbeatable.

I actually think it's too early to even decide the chances of which team would win the next Champions League. The season hasn't even begun. You don't know the kind of reinforcement teams would do in the transfer window, players might get injured too in the Euro and Copa America. Also, teams might go into the new season and be in beast mode. Nobody knew Bayer Leverkusen would turn to go over 50 matches unbeaten in all competitions at the end of the previous season. They almost finished the season unbeaten.
So yeah, Madrid with Mbappe makes them scary, but we have to see how they and other teams perform first.

T's too early to start giving predictions, alot of us had thoughts of Manchester City doing the double because Pep Guardiola talked about it. I have no prediction to give. So many transfers also not done, at the start of the season we'll see about this prediction..

For now, I can only back the club Real Madrid to win the Super Cup Finals which would be played within the next three months.  But themz I would love to see Hansi Flick win it.. They have to make sure they bring in qualified players for him anyways so they can meet and match up with the standards of Real Madrid.

For gunners, not so sure because they've never won a UEFA European Trophy, I'd rather give a chance to Aston Villa and Unai Emery for next season, I do believe they can do it because they've done it in the past, they also have a coach who's experienced at a top level.

To predict which club will win the Champions League this season is too early to talk about at this time, because all clubs have not yet seen their game for all clubs next season, if we combine the two clubs Real Madrid and Man City, the big possibility is that these two could be the next candidate, because Man City looks like it will be able to compete with Real Madrid next season, even though Real Madrid has just brought Mbappe into its squad next season, at least that could be a way forward for Man City when they see Mbappe's arrival at Real Madrid, at least they can anticipate the attacks that will come. terrible from Real Madrid.

Because previously, even though Real Madrid didn't have Mbappe in their squad, but Real Madrid managed to beat Manchester City, then of course if next season Mbappe is actually available in the Real Madrid squad. So clearly, Real Madrid will be the favorite to win the Champions League trophy again and again. But the odds mentioned like that are percentages and that is still a reasonable percentage, because it is not about the odds but about the chance or percentage. After all, if you compare big and small, in reality the other teams only get a percentage of 1% and with a percentage as low as that, it would be different if rounded into odds.

Mbappe will perform even more strongly after joining Real Madrid, as a striker entering the team will surely strengthen the attacking department and the ones they can succeed in attacking. For a long time, the Real Madrid team performed very well in these seasons. However, if there is a competition, only Manchester City and Real Madrid will have a great competition between these two teams. The threat of unique team is very less as they have failed to perform well in these seasons despite having good performance and strong squad.

he has certainly gained a lot in strength, it is no coincidence that the coach is not one who understands strategy, as a player he had the opportunity to play in the strongest Milan of all time, with players like Van Basten, just to name one. He knows what he is doing, and if he took Mbappe the reason is that he knew how to fit him in well

Every year Real Madrid has a high chance of winning, because it is a strong team that dominates the Spanish league in some ways.
So no one is surprised if you put them among the favorites, in fact we could say that it is quite obvious and predictable from a certain point of view.

Real Madrid's opportunity to perform better in the current season is of course very big, especially since there is a new player, namely Mbappe, whose aim is to strengthen Real Madrid's performance, although Real Madrid can be said to have a bigger chance of winning the Champions League but I hope there is another team that can balance it out to make the world of football more exciting with a team that can match Real Madrid's performance which is very very good and there is no doubt about it Of course Mbappe's presence will make Real Madrid's performance stronger.

I think Manchester City can still match Real Madrid but with the news that Pep Guardiola will leave Manchester City it is a problem for Manchester City if Pep Guardiola leaves Manchester City because they have to look for a new coach and of course it takes time to find the process. The best point of his performance was adapting to his new coach.

With the new format of champions league coming into effect from next season it's really going to be difficult for teams who are use to the former traditional way of playing in the Champions league. I know why you favoured Madrid so much with 60%, you are assuming that Mbappe effect is going to make the Madrid side the favorite to life the trophy, well that's your opinion. But for me I will rather give Madrid 40% chance to win. Manchester City came very close to win it but Madrid was obstacle that eliminated them. Why I said 40% for Madrid to win because at this point nobody knows if Mbappe will be a success at Madrid. We have seen many big players flop. This will be the first time that they will be playing together so it will probably take little time for them to blend together. If Manchester City and real Madrid meet next season in the Champions league, Manchester City will be looking forward to correcting their mistake. For me Manchester City stand a higher chance of winning the champions league next season.

And for other rivals such as Manchester City, I don't think this club will be able to match Real Madrid's performance next season, as well as those who have smaller opportunities than Manchester City, such as Barcelona, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, PSG and Inter Milan, it will be even more difficult for them to face Real Madrid in the future. I can't even imagine how dangerous the Real Madrid squad will be next season with an increasingly sharp front line consisting of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Jude Bellingham and also Mbappe.

I admit that Mbappe joining Madrid will certainly be an additional strength for Madrid next season, but keep in mind that the competition is also getting tougher, not all players who are full of experience can continue to feel like they are champions of the UCL again next season, I believe that Manchester City will avenge their defeat next season, Guardiola will definitely improve their main squad, at least making it better and stronger to compete next season with other teams including Madrid at full strength.

Mbappe needs to adapt to Madrid's style of play which may also take time, but a player like Mbappe probably won't need much time there because he has a lot of experience in football so maybe he will adapt more quickly to the players in Madrid's main squad, I I can't wait for these two teams to meet again like this season, although I still recognize Madrid's recent strength, but I also think Manchester City will be the right opponent for them in the UCL next season. just waiting for Guardiola to recruit new players for Manchester City next season.  Grin

The Mbappe fever, this move is  what has given the much hype for a high high chances of expectations on rela madrid repeatedly winning the champions league trophy next season. I hope a lot of us don't get disappointed because for me this move doesn't change much of a thing in the madrid squad, and here's why.

Madrid is a club that every football player wanna association himself with in their career, they have made a standard for themself with any kind of European trophy you can think of in their massive numbers, and currently there are great super stars like Vini Jnr, Rodrygo, Carvajal, Valverde, Camavingha, J. Bellingham, etc,  already in the club making waves in all competitors, so Mbappe coming in is just an inclusion of these beasts which I think he is not coming in as a messiah to the team but as a part to a whole.

It's important I remind us all that there was a time of the gallaticus  but not much of a European title was attached to the squad, and just maybe, let it not be that Mbappe is arriving at a time when there could be a little pause in the streaks of champion's league trophy wins for real madrid.

I think that's an indisputable fact and you put these numbers right in terms of the overall difference in next season. Usually Manchester City is always at the top of the favorites to win and we won't see that again after Real Madrid got Mbappe. Even though in the end the bookies will still favor Manchester City as the favorite every season, this will not mean anything in front of the mentality of Real Madrid players.

I agree that without Mbappe, Real Madrid could win the Champions League this season and would only be fasting for the title for one year. I was wondering what would have happened if Real Madrid hadn't been knocked out by Manchester City last season, perhaps this season would have been a UCL hat trick for them after previously happening in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Well, there will be no end to talking about Real Madrid and this team is complete in all aspects. Smiley

Real Madrid for the 2023-2024 season is performing very well and of course in the coming season (2024-2025 season) it will of course be very difficult to predict who will be the winner of the Champions League for the 2024-2025 season. but of course I predict that Real Madrid will have great potential to win the title again in the coming season (2024-2025) because I see that Real Madrid's strength is very strong to date, but of course what makes me believe that Real Madrid has great potential to win is because Mbappe will strengthen Real Madrid and of course Real Madrid's strength will definitely be stronger because Mbappe is a strong player.

but of course I am sure that Manchester City, Leverkusen, Inter, PSG and other teams will definitely try their best to win the Champions League title and of course there are many strong team so the 2024-2025 season will definitely be exciting. However I am curious about the performance of Girona, which is the new team from Laliga that has entered the Champions League.

But I still think Ancelotti's troops will have the potential to remain a team that has great potential to win the title again in season 2024-2025.
