With so many chances they were able to score even 8 goals.
Tomorrow I'm going to bet at Dynamo Kyiv ML @2.05 against Sturm, very attractive odds. Maccabi Haifa ML @1.53 is safe bet IMO. Qarabag - Ferencvaros game looks very difficult to predict. I won't bet on Bodo/Glimt - Zalgiris game because I'm biased.

I definitely lost my bet, wagered on Monaco to keep it together but they weren't in it to begin with. In any case, its just one more loss and I had many before so its no a big deal. Sheriff wasn't a game I was willing to wager because even though they managed to have a fairy tale situation last year, that doesn't change the fact I do not see Sheriff as a "rising" club, they are not that great yet, but it will take a while for them to get there. With their money situation, I really doubt that they would ever be a big club anytime in the future, just a team that had one year where they shocked the world. So I do not think that I would wager on them at all, don't know them really.

Monaco match ended 1-1 vs PSV which scored first then Monaco get the draw in the last 10 minutes. This game was expected to be a hard one and I assume many lost their bets there along with Sheriff match too since they lost vs Plzen. Smaller clubs are already semi-gone, it's about teams that are at mid-level which is not amazing of course, many of which (most) will be gone by group stage and won't be going further. However, we should also realize that this is a perfect time to start betting, because of those teams play in the big 5 or similar levels and that means we know what we are talking about and seen them play and that could result with us getting closer to a great bet.
I am not saying that it would be easy, of course it will be a tough ask but at the very least we would be having something much better in our hands than what we would have a round before which would have been a lot harder.

I think there will be a lot of good games today. I hope that Sheriff can beat Viktoria Plzen. Amazingly, they have managed to go two rounds of the Champions League without conceding a single goal, although they are not doing well in attack, they have managed to score 2 goals in four games. It will also be interesting to watch last week's Europa League finalist Glasgow Rangers. I think they should win.
In the last match, Viktoria Plzen won 5-0 against HJK Helsinki. Although the Sheriff team may be stronger than Plzen's Heck. But Plzen's boys are much more confident now. So winning the match will not be easy for Sheriff.
I think the most competitive match of the day will be the Monaco vs PSV match. These two teams are quite strong. I am looking forward to enjoying this match.

In my opinion monaro has a better track record against PSV. The result from the pre season match didn't mean if it will have better chance to win the game but it may boost the fundamental of players. pre-season results don't seem to matter much because the atmosphere will obviously be different,

Sometimes we look a lot at the history of a team, to give our guess. But in football, what happened in the past doesn't mean it will happen again. Barcelona last year was a good example of that.
I don't think Monaco or PSV are in as good a phase as they were a few years ago. Looking at the history, I would say that Monaco were favourites, but at the moment I think the two teams are very similar. So right now I have a hard time saying who will be a winner.

Things is getting more interesting with more famous teams joining qualifiers. And it's getting more difficult to predict something. In all 3rd qualifying round games VAR will be used already.
Most interesting pair is Monaco - PSV. My pick for this game is BTTS @1.63. Ludogorets - Dinamo Zagreb looks like pair of same level teams. Very difficult to predict something.
Union SG - Rangers. I give advantage in this pair for Rangers, but Union is very solid team at home and I expect that they won't lose first leg.
Sheriff - Plzen. Looking at Sheriff defense, it makes sense to bet on under, but odds is so low that's not even worth. And Benfica - Midtjylland, I'm a bitsurprised that Midtjylland is underrated so much.
It's a B class matches and for sure you might get a lot of surprises , putting your money in moneyline might be a really risky one unlike the BTTS or handicap .. it's on a better chance for me personally , i don't like this kind matches but if there is no top league available to bet then this gonna be the best option to have some luck. Sheriff played very well in the Champions League last season, but now they are without a lot of players from last season and barely qualified for this round of the competition. They are obviously the weaker team now and I wouldn't say they are the favourites.
Dinamo also struggled a lot against the Macedonian team in the last round of the competition and they are obviously not fully ready yet. They have a lot of new players who haven't fit into the team yet. I also don't think they are favorites.
I am not that familiar with the current situation of other teams at the moment, so I will comment on other clubs after the first matches.

Fenerbache seems to be a considerably less strong team than Dinamo Kiev. Especially if you look at the past few years, Dynamo Kiev has grabbed a lot more. Turkish football seemed to be on the rise last year when a cub qualified for the Champions League. But Dynamo Kiev managed to eliminate Barcelona and that was quite an achievement. If both teams now make it to the group stage, they will be very satisfied. And playing in the group, will be a bonus. The match can still go both ways.
Dinamo Kiev won the game and moved on to another stage, too bad Fenerbache didn't make itthese games are being very unpredictable, olympiacos lost and was eliminated, malmo lost and was eliminated, now we will see the next games that for me started to be interesting.
benfica of portugal will play, PSV, monaco and ranger that are outstanding teams will also play
I am really interested to see how Benfica and Ranger are preparing to play. I think they will be able to win. Well, obviously not winning the Champions League. But I think they will be able to qualify for the Champions League.
Edit: Oh, I almost forgot Monaco. These are the three teams I am most excited about. I think out of all the other teams, these three teams have the highest potential to win and move ahead in the competition. I am not a fan of watching PSV play. So I am not interested in commenting on them.
