What do you expect Manchester City is already topping the points in the premiere league and at the same time are very form when is comes to players motivation and skills which give them an edge in this match.

This week saw 2 nice matches in the Champions League. There was quite a bit of action in both games. Villareal didn't want to play football, but the other game was a real spectacle. Of course there is no doubt that Liverpool will go to the final, but in Real Madrid's game against Man City everything is still open. It seems to me that Man City are favorites, but we have seen what happened in the match between Real Madrid and Psg

If that's the scheme that happens then I'll take Liverpool as the contestant to win this time, but I predict that this time it will be England vs England.  because we know Madrid lost to Manchester City it has become a big capital for Manchester City.
Have you forgotten what Madrid did in Leg 2 in the previous round? Even though City are already favored enough but indeed they are still not safe now, playing at the Barnabeu with the full support of Madridistas will indirectly affect City's mentality in my opinion. especially now they only have 1 goal on aggregate which makes this still not too safe for City

Each team is phenomenal in their own right, both are able to show off their abilities and two English giants, Liverpool and Manchester City, both demonstrated a level of ability to showcase. There can be only one winner between Manchester City and Real Madrid. But I prefer to watch Liverpool versus Real Madrid.
I also prefer to see Liverpool versus Real Madrid in the final match, and in your opinion, between Liverpool and Real Madrid who will be superior if the two meet in the final?
I see the two clubs as very evenly matched in terms of strength this season so it is still very difficult for me to predict.

Liverpool are still the favourite team for the Champions League title of course. But we don't see the biggest favourites becoming the champion in this tournament every time. Chelsea's championship in last season can be considered as a good example. I see Liverpool in the finale already as they won the first leg by a comfortable score like 2-0. I just wonder which team are going to be their competitor. Is it going to be Manchester City or Real Madrid? For now, Manchester City have a little more advantage as they won the first leg 4-3.

I understand your reasoning, but they are very much in conflict with the quotes that the bookmakers give for these three teams. The quotes for Liverpool are fair at this stage, by the way, they are fair even for the final result:

Liverpool 1.86

Manchester City FC 2.15

Real Madrid 10.50

But the quotes for Real and City are absolutely distorted. City are judged as if they are already in the final.
I know what you mean but there is nothing wrong with those odds after I watched the first leg, it seems fair for Liverpool and Manchester City but very unfair to underestimate Real Madrid like that. But I don't know what site offers high odds for Real Madrid because the bookie I visited only offered 3.25.

Liverpool 1.72

Manchester City 2.09

Real Madrid 3.25

So I'm sure the bookmakers will make Manchester City and Liverpool the favorites for the final but we shouldn't get hung up on just these numbers while all the teams might still qualify with the odds that might be in store for them.

Yep, as you said sometimes strategy is important and unai know what they're doing because instead of them having a hard time with an open game they're better off playing that way even though it doesn't really affect them that much.
At the moment 2-0 on aggregate is big enough for them and I doubt if they can turn things around and there is nothing wrong in the second leg they try to adopt a different strategy than defending boredom
This may be true, but the problem is simply to counter them is to leave their defense blank and allow Liverpool to exploit their area of defense and this would be much more dangerous. Instead of reducing Liverpool's lag, Liverpool actually added to the aggregate coffers there.
It is indeed quite difficult now for Villarreal and the chances are close to 0 percent to qualify for the next round
This is precisely the problem.
They have had enough now and when they defend can they really win? the odds are getting more and more difficult for them because creating 2 goals on the counter-attack when the opponent is Liverpool is something that will not happen in my opinion.
And this is where they have to attack, I think it's better to display an attractive attack even if they lose than continue to be beaten all-out but still lose

As we have already seen, it is quite possible to beat City - Liverpool just recently did it in the FA Cup and in a dominant style. I could understand such quotes against some average club that is close to the top clubs but is not. But this is Real - the champion of Spain and the regular winner of the Champions League. Perhaps I will take advantage of the bookmakers' mistake and bet on Real  Smiley
Liverpool and Real Madrid can beat Manchester City and vice versa and I don't think it's impossible. Liverpool have beaten Manchester City this season in different competitions but I don't think it can guarantee Liverpool can do it again in the Champions League if they meet in the final.

If Manchester City can make mistakes then the same can happen to Liverpool and Real Madrid so we can't really believe in the team to win everything especially because the Champions League is a different competition to any competition. So I just think at the moment all the teams have a chance to win the match or the title.

God is great
I don't think that Villarreal would have much chance to revert things from now on. Liverpool already have a two-goal advantage against them. I don't believe that Villarreal are that much good to end 90 minutes as ahead by two goals in the second leg. Liverpool are a way different opponent than Bayern Munich. Even Villarreal get ahead by one goal, Liverpool wouldn't be too late to equalize the score. They know how to play against this kind of opponents very well. I don't expect any mistake by Liverpool because of that.

Villareal can't draw the match , even to think of winning  Liverpool.  The way rhe first leg was that is how the second leg will be like. Liverpool always have new strategies and tactics to face any team no matter how difficult the team may be. The first game Villareal played against Liverpool in the first half  Villareal played more defensive game trying stop Liverpool,  with all Villareal efforts in the game Liverpool still won the game.

And the advantage of these 2 goals for Liverpool is still lacking. They will add the 2nd leg later as a form of Liverpool's seriousness to reach the final with a satisfactory result. Villareal now has a heavy burden to equalize the position. Despite playing at home, the concerns of Villareal supporters are still evident. So far Villareal's struggle has been quite good, if in the end they don't qualify for the final but their performance will increase in the next season.

Although Manchester City won against Real Madrid, but they're played on their home and Madrid able to scored many goals. This will be a problem in the second leg where the match will happen on Real Madrid's home. Pep Guardiola seems couldn't stopped Benzema, he need to analyze the first leg and find the way to stop Benzema for the second leg.
Yes indeed, a narrow 4-3 victory still cannot guarantee Manchester City to qualify but even so, I personally still believe that Pep Guardiola is able to form his team to continue to qualify. Regarding the strategy that will be applied later, whether it's defending or continuing to play attacking, I think Manchester City will be able to maintain this advantage. Nothing is certain yet, because this season there have been quite a few surprises, both in the UCL and in other European tournaments as well.
Agree Manchester City have to be careful that Real Madrid's game will be quite terrible if they get a goal back. The slight difference still will not make Manchester City in an advantageous condition. Because when playing at home they only get a difference of 1 point, indicating that Man City's game is not as they expected.
Prediction of the 2nd leg of Real Madrid vs. Manchester City can be predicted to be fierce again, Real Madrid is more favored in this match, because Madrid acts as the host with the support of their supporters.  But in head to head City looks one level ahead of Real Madrid.

It's not a matter of being boring or not, I know that a football fan wants to see an attractive game in one game, but the problem is that Villarreal are aware that when they play open they will find it a little difficult to face a fast game from Liverpool. They just played defensively, they lost, let alone they played openly.

But maybe for the 2nd Leg there will be a little change, I don't think they want to continue like this because it's better for them to try than to continue to survive

It's difficult for Villarreal to find 2 goals from a strong team like Liverpool, this season Liverpool have been outstanding in all competitions. In the first leg, Villarreal could barely do anything, no shots could harm the Liverpool goal. The slick appearance shown by Liverpool players forced Villarreal to carry out a mission that was impossible to realize. Scoring just 1 goal against Liverpool is almost impossible to do, let alone two or three goals, because Liverpool defense is very disciplined in breaking the opponent's attack. I look forward to Liverpool going to the final.

We see many users who favor Liverpool including myself and reminds me when Villarreal came to the Allianz Arena, at the same time 99% of people believe Bayern Munich can win easily but the surprise occurred Villarreal managed to draw 1-1 and they went to the semifinals, will this be repeated again? maybe hard to believe but we just wait for the final result.
This situation is very different when Villarreal faced Bayern Munich, in that match Villarreal could provide resistance and even they could win in the first leg. But now they can't do that, they're not even given the chance to just attack and shoot even if it's not on goal. Liverpool really dominate in every way, I don't think Villarreal can do much in the second leg.

Villarreal original plan required 2 goals in the 2nd leg against Liverpool in order to have any hope of qualifying for the final. But 2 goals is a difficult one for Villarreal in the 2nd leg as Liverpool will maintain the win they have got at Anfield. Liverpool will maintain their advantage at home to Villarreal even though Villareal will try to win by more than 2 goals.
You are right. If Villarreal 1st leg is not played defensively, then the goals scored may be more than 2.
Villarreal will face Liverpool at their home Stadium, Estadio de la Cerámica. Although they lost in the first leg of the semi-final to Liverpool 2 nil. Villarreal boss, Unai Emery will follow up Jurgen Klopp side with an entire new formation because Liverpool don't played defensive football rather they play attacking game. Villarreal need to beat Liverpool 2-0 in the second leg and Villarreal are good at defending game, which may seems impossible for them. The reds won't take chances because they are one of the tough teams in EPL. The game might end in a draw, that if the reds don't come for winning.

if this is Liverpool's form can be maintained then it could be this year will bring together two representatives of England this time in the Champions League final, but it will not go smoothly for Manchester City because they will travel to Madrid.
