I think so too bro, Man City's thirst for the UCL title this year must come true. Cheesy Pep Guardiola has brought Manchester City to be king in the domestic competition after winning three titles in the last four seasons. In addition, all domestic trophies have also been won by Pep with Man City. However, they have never tasted the sweetness of being on the podium to win the Champions League.
It's really a shame if this season Manchester City can't win the Champions League trophy because in terms of performance and strength in playing in every match it has looked very good, so if this time Manchester City have to lose again with Real Madrid in the semi-finals later because historically Real Madrid have won so many Champions League trophies.

Benfica really need to be congratulated. They competed in the champions league and reached the quarter-finals, and even though they knew that they would be eliminated with Liverpool, who is probably among the top 3 clubs with the most form, they fought until the last moment and showed both their country score and their own image. I have been following Benfica for years, it is a very admirable team, they both train players from the young ages and also able to participate in such organizations as european cups. But also, such a score happened because Liverpool was comfortable from the first match score and rested their most of the top players, otherwise if they needed a goal, they would have won this match very easily in Anfield.
in the local league, Benfica is also playing well. they are quite productive in making goals. their action in the Champions League is very impressive. they enter a group that is not easy. and fight to the quarter-finals.
The match against Liverpool is certainly quite tough for Benfica. but they can play a maximum in the 2nd leg by making 3 goals. even though Liverpool is not playing with their main squad. but scoring 3 goals against Liverpool was unimaginable before.

City may be a team that is hungry for a Champions title for now because it has failed several times. haha

The Champions League is starting to clear up and we now have easily anyone who will enter with the quality they deserve. Clubs that are growing stronger and increasingly showing their existence are still owned by Man City, Liverpool, and Real Madrid. The three clubs are worthy candidates to compete with each other for a special place in the Champions League.
I'm not too sure about Real Madrid although their run to the semi-finals was amazing after PSG and Chelsea were eliminated. They have done it perfectly but of course they will still face another big team in the semi-final between Atletico Madrid or Manchester City.
I believe Manchester City can win the second leg today, so Simeone should have stepped out of his comfort zone to play openly today. So if Manchester City qualify for the semi-finals it will be a tough task for Real Madrid to advance to the final because City have been very good so far.
I don't know who is seeing it from my own point of view, but I see Manchester  City  taking the champions league already. Now that Bayern have been eliminated, and it's left with Real Madrid,Benfica,Mancity and Liverpool,I'm very optimistic that Liverpool and Manchester City will play against each other in the final, and if that happens,Liverpool will take it again.Except Liverpool is eliminated before they get to the final,if not, what ever makes them reach that final,it's their own.So for Mancity to take it,they have to pray that they remove Liverpool first.

Actually, I am not going to overlook Real Madrid this time because they have played really well till this stage of this tournament. To be honest, I did not expect them to reach this stage of the tournament but they have surprised me and I think they have surprised a lot of people also and as long as they have Karim Benzema in the playing 11 I think they have a good chance of winning. But I obviously give Liverpool and Manchester City a better chance of winning.

I think this fixture will likely favor Manchester City compared to Madrid but we can't rule out the effectiveness of Karim Benzema, he will be the star player in this fixture and clearly would be instrumental for Real Madrid if they are to qualify. I would want a Liverpool-Manchester City finals because that will probably give City the opportunity to win their first champion's league trophy.
I would also like a final between Liverpool and City but I would love to see City to fail again. (Make your guess LOL).
It's destine that City is not going to win UCL even though they are one of the strongest club in English Premier League. In fact they are one of the best in who EU. But I think we need to be realistic. Let Liverpool to eliminate Villarreal and City to eliminate Real Madrid first. It's even possible none of these teams will play final!
If you want the UCL final, Manchester City and Liverpool can watch tomorrow Saturday 16 April 2022, the two will meet each other and compete closely in the FA Cup semifinals.
Manchester City and Liverpool both compete in three competitions namely the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League and both teams have a great chance of winning more than one trophy this season.
but in UCL they have to face Villarreal and Real Madrid which I think are dangerous opponents and always give unexpected surprises that Manchester City and Liverpool have to watch out for.

you expect Liverpool to be champions and wrongly scored a hat-trick in the final .👀

It seems like it will be easy for us to imagine for a while but when Liverpool face Villareal that 's where the answers will be answered .

don't like Liverpool and want to see them suffer?
I have no particular dislikes, the only dislikes are teams that play defensively and kill the fun
but it seems to me there are no such teams at the moment in UCL
all very nice for me, I love many goals!

Goals are always exciting but when your team is playing against one of the top team in entire Europe then you feel pressure (I am taking about last City vs Liverpool meeting). I hate to see Liverpool playing defensively and attacking only when they accidentally concede a goal. We are fan and from outside we might think many things but the manager knows his player the best. So even though you don't like some kind of football still you do not mind when your team has an strategy not to lose points.

Unexpected things do happen in football any time, no team is to be underrated as far as UEFA Champions League is concerned. From yesterday's results, no one will expect Villareal to eliminate Bayern Munich yesterday but that's game. Therefore I still have hope that Villareal can do what people did not expect. As far as I am concern, the finals will be within Real Madrid against Liverpool or Villareal.
I can't expected Liverpool easy lock step to final of champion league because last second leg match draw by Benfica and have conceded 3 goals at least minutes. I think Villareal have solid defensive play and keep using with attacking counter will make Liverpool not easy for defeating Villareal. Not happening with how winning on ball possession controlling because Villareal have faster games play when counter attack. Looks hard for predicting which one team eligible to final of champion league, will Spain final on champion league happening with Real Madrid vs Villareal or England final where Liverpool vs Manchester City.
Liverpool is easily the favorite team to make it to the final. Real Madrid and Manchester City should have be the final fixture. It is going to be an explosive encounter because both teams will be out attacking. I think this fixture will likely favor Manchester City compared to Madrid but we can't rule out the effectiveness of Karim Benzema, he will be the star player in this fixture and clearly would be instrumental for Real Madrid if they are to qualify. Am also looking out for the Manchester city Liverpool finals which is what it seems to be Madrid has played incredibly well in the last round and that could aid them to make it to the final round but again we should not look away from Villarreal's chances also, the Champions League have been characterized with clubs that have so much motivation and players ready to. make a mark at any match but the fact remains that the top clubs will still get a better chance of winning because of their level of confidence and players' experience
Liverpool vs Manchester City fixture is one of the most common fixture this season, they have played themselves more than any other team this season, they may even meet again at the finals if they can both see off their opponents in the semifinals. Liverpool have always gotten bullied in the midfield when they play Manchester City especially during their last encounter. I think they somehow still show Manchester City too much respect whenever they play against each other.

Manchester City will play as home on first leg against with Real Madrid on UEFA Champion League on April 27, I think with last performance from Manchester City draw against with Atletico Madrid have potential for Real Madrid could win on first leg. Last match Manchester City not really impressive and have focus with defensive area. I see Real Madrid have potential lead to final again this time with keep consistent performance although last match defeated by Chelsea but still can winning with aggregate goal on first leg.

What a season this is!
I applaud the enthusiasm shown by Benfica last night, despite being behind, but in the end Nunes and his friends managed to equalize to 3-3, and aggregate to 6-4, but I think last night Jorgen Klopp did not field their main players , because Jorgen Klopp made the decision not to play Vandjik, Robertson and Arnold, to maintain their fitness, if jorgen fielded them from the start of the game the result would be different, I'm sure jorgen klop's decision not to field 3 of his mainstay defenders because jorgen klop has a mission to beat Manchester city in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on the 16th.

Let us give credit to almost all the teams though (let us say except Atletico and some parts of Villareal),,, everyone gave it a go and even Villareal who were accused of being Atletico for some time, if they did not score and take the 1-0 lead in the first leg, then they would have ended up like the Madrids,,, out for not being able to score and for only playing positive football in final quarter of the 2 legs.

You really need to improve your spelling by the way,,, you managed to spell the coach's name in 3 different ways and mentioning him 5 times  Grin

Manchester City made it to the semi finals after having a really boring game. Atletico Madrid were so unable to show a solid performance against them and Manchester City didn't have big problems most of the time. But it was still risky for them as they tried to maintain a 0-0 tie until the end of the game. Manchester City are Real Madrid's opponent in the semi finals now. And I will be favouring Real Madrid to advance in this as I would really like to see Benzema having the prize of his huge effort.
All Manchester City needed against Atletico Madrid was a draw to qualify. I can't blame Manchester City for the boring game. Pep gave Diego Simone was given a dose of his own medicine but with a lethal injection. I think Real Madrid vs Manchester City fixture won't be exciting in terms of attacking fluidity unlike the one with Atletico Madrid. I don't think Real Madrid will qualify ahead of Manchester City to final though.

This semi-final surprises me, because for me it was the final of the UCL, however I don't like how this turned out, BAYERN saying goodbye to the UCL when they are one of the teams that shine the most, this is something surprising that only football can toast. The best thing to do in these cases is to know who to bet on, because Man City knows Real Madrid very well, Peop Guardiola is a great strategist.
Any result in UCL does not surprise me. Imagine City never won UCL LOL.
There is a very good chance in this UCL to see Liverpool and City in the final. I would like to see an all English and would like to celebrate Liverpool winning UCL and EPL title LOL. Let's wait what we have to see.

Real Madrid is very dependent on Benzema's performance this season because he is the player who keeps Real Madrid still competing in the quarter-finals because of his goals. Without Benzema Real Madrid look weak where they will find it difficult to score even to win the match, and I think Real Madrid might have lost by a bigger score without him.
Even I feel their dependence occurred after Ronaldo left the club and indeed he became the main spearhead after that.
although indeed this is not really justified as it will boomerang when Benzema can't play but they still don't have any other options right now. Their other strikers are quite good but not as good as Benzema in goal productivity.
Luckily now his performance is very good even in the last 2 champions league matches (Leg 2 against PSG and Leg 1 against Chelsea) 2 hattricks he created.
The Benzema thing is something incredible, he is like the pillar that keeps Real Madrid afloat with everything, if we take into account that in the league the time he was absent they scored 4 goals for Real Madrid, it is because he was without him, but they have a lot to gain, now if they bring Haaland to Real Madrid or any other player, I'm sure it will have a positive impact, because Benzema needs someone else to play the same position for them to be more effective.

I don't know if Real Madrid will keep it after the World Cup is over, because one of the team's customs is to get rid of players of a certain age, so it does a lot, I hope it doesn't happen with Benzema.

Manchester City - Real Madrid is going to be the toughest matchup in the semi finals I think. It is not much different than a final game in the Champions League. Honestly, Real Madrid have impressed me much more so far. As long as they have Benzema, they are always going to be one of the biggest contenders for the title. Manchester City defenders will have a big responsibility to defend him. And he is not only carrying the team by himself of course. I really like their game as a team.
From now on I am not going to doubt Real Madrid. At least not on any big stage like the Champions League. I really did not give them much chance of advancing at this stage of the competition but they have put me wrong again and again. I do feel like Manchester City is better than Real Madrid. But as long as Real Madrid has Karim Benzema they obviously have a better chance of winning in my opinion.
In any case, Real Madrid can hardly be called the favorite of the entire Champions League draw, but moving step by step, this goal may well be achieved. The presence of players like Modric and Benzema in the team, who can arrange a goal not in the most obvious situation, is a big plus for the team and eliminates the other disadvantages, which the team has enough. Another question is that both Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea failed certain segments of matches and thereby provided Real Madrid with chances that the club successfully used. But it is absolutely not a fact that, say, Manchester City or Liverpool will provide the necessary number of chances.

There are only two possibilities about the team reaching the final in my opinion and maybe something like this:
  • Liverpool vs Manchester City
  • Real Madrid vs Liverpool
I don't think Villareal can be expected to beat Liverpool even though Bayern Munich are the unlucky side against them in the quarter-finals. So Villareal will not reach the final and only Liverpool may have an easier way to the final. Still dubious between Madrid and City, they both deserved this season but I think Liverpool and Manchester City finals are to be expected.
Why do you underestimate Villareal? They have eliminated Bayern, right? You must know how good Bayern is and how strong they are. Every team tries to avoid fighting with them, it is because Bayern is always considered the favorite team to be in the final round of this tournament. Surprisingly, Villareal can beat them, it simply indicates Villareal has the capability to eliminate their opponent in the current round. Honestly, I doubt Liverpool can be in the semi-final round if they were against Bayern in the previous round. So, don't exclude Villareal as the candidate of the finalist.  Wink

I was actually so surprised to see that honestly. Even I can't imagine it in my dream that Villarreal is going to beat Bayern Munich. But that has happened. I don't know if Villarreal is a stronger team because of that or not but I certainly think that they should not be underestimated.

I know people are going to laugh and think it's a joke but they should ask Bayern Munich. They are obviously not laughing now.

Anyway, I think the best chance of winning the league is with Manchester City and Liverpool. But all the teams are here at this stage of the competition for a reason.
