No excuses, but Tuchel is a game changer. Tuchel won and lost the game at same. The people who don't watch the Champions League game yesterday can't get the inclination. Yesterday was a good day for Madrid, thus go to the semis by beating Chelsea 5-4 on total.

What I do not really like about Atletico is that they do not score much goals, but the club have a strong defense, Manchester City is a very strong club that could have scored more than a single goal in Etihad if Altetico defense was not strong. Manchester City may still further pressure Atletico today and I go for Manchester City provided if it can score 1 or 2 more goals which I know Atletico can not meet up. We are not certain about how the match can be, Champions League is not an easy league at all, anything can happen. But about Benfica, anything can happen too, but Liverpool have more chance to win this match, I am strongly going for Liverpool, I do not think Benfica can go further from here.

If we look at their performance in the first leg, I think they both have a chance to qualify for the semifinals. Manchester City will still be the favorites and their chances are slightly ahead of Atletico Madrid because they won 1-0 in the first leg, but Atlético Madrid can still make a surprise because they will play at home, and they've come this far not just by luck.

Athletico Madrid mostly succeed in the first leg but eventually Manchester City managed to win it. It affects the plan of Athletico Madrid and Simeone as well as their approach for the second leg. The 1 goal difference is so small and with strange decisions from Pep Guardiola in big matches, A Madrid can take advantage of strange and perhaps bad decisions from Pep.

I believe we will have an interesting match today. Madrid will have to play attacking and it will give more chance to Manchester City to play with their traditional tactics.

Since Manchester City won the first leg, they will be in the safe zone today. And the players will be stress-free. Manchester City's defense is very strong. It will not be easy for Atletico to win. Yesterday was one hell of a dramatic night, we saw how close Chelsea came to knocking out Real Madrid one of the most decorated teams when it comes to champions League football but Madrid's experience and determination pulled them through to secure a semi final spot!
But what was even more impressive is the small team known as Villarreal turned into a giant slayer. On the road they have slayed United, Juventus and this time around they slayed Bayern the 6times champions out of the competition....these guys could have easily been written off one shot on target in both legs but still managed to win both games...talk about luck but will it be still with them seeing that this could have more Spanish teams in the end which know how the other plays...Well let's watch this space.

After all with 1 : 3 from the first game Benfica has nothing to lose, so why not play freely and score some goals!

Odds are 4.8/3.7/1.7. ManCity is the clear favorite going into this game. They also won the first leg 1-0. I am not sure if I agree with your prediction, Atletico needs to play more offensive as they need to win this game. This in turn could give ManCity space to score themselves. The odds for more/less than 2.5 goals are almost even (1.9/1. Cool

. My guess for the result is 1-1, but another goal would then lose the 2.5 goal bet already. (I will not bet on this game, I am not strongly convinced by any offered odds)

I really didn't expect this one. Bayern are a superb team, and I thought they were almost certain to get through to the next round. It's a real shock that they've been knocked out. I didn't watch the match, but the result is a big surprise, I read that Villareal managed 2 shots on target in total across both games, and scored both - is this correct? It's not a shock on the scale of Italy vs N Mac, but it's still a shock not to see Bayern progress.

This is the most interesting football to watch. It all happened for 90 minutes + 30 minutes before finally Chelsea ducked and Real Madrid jumped with joy including the supporters who were in the stadium and watching on TV.
Congratulations to Real Madrid for making it to the semifinals and thanks to Chelsea for proving how to be a great team.

Chelsea proved many soccer analysts and pundits wrong with their amazing and brilliant performance yesterday, they could have won the match had they converted their scoring chances, unfortunately were unlucky, they played attacking football all through the 120 minutes, in a match many soccer analysts would have predicted a walk over for Real Madrid, honestly the match live up to expectations from start to finish, it was a brilliant soccer displayed by both sides to delightful soccer fans all over world.
Congratulations to Villarreal for their efforts in defeating a Bayern Munich side who many predicted their winning the match unfortunately were bundled out of the UCL.
