Chelsea presently have a great team, I was expecting Real Madrid to win that match flawlessly but Chelsea performaned very excellenty that got them into extra time, Chelsea did not qualify but they have shown their fans that they really tried and yes they tried. I believe Chelsea will more concentrate on FA cup now. I can say that Real Madrid are just lucky to win that match.

I was expecting Bayern to do the unthinkable again, but they failed this time, Robert Lewandowski was able to scored in the second half of the match that they also dominated, but Villarreal with strong defence that was so strong, Samuel Chukwueze was able to score in just some minutes to lead to extra time. Villarreal do the unthinkable.

Chelsea  did the unthinkable but unfortunately they were not able to cross over to the next stage but they will be proud of themselves,it was not written on the star for them.thomas Tuchel will be proud and this player came believing that they can turn this result, Ngolo Kante is a very good players and has this multi position and plays like two players in one.that late Real Madrid goal kill Chelsea momentum in the game and after that I always thought in my mind that Karim benzema will finish the business because he is so much good in his work,he understands Vinicius junior in ever expect of his game he knows how Vinicius think.

Yes, right. very good football matches shown by these two big clubs and for football fans I am also very happy and quite satisfied with the game of both teams. in the match not only lose and win, but the value obtained in the match is much more useful for the next step.

Exactly, people thought Real Madrid will disgrace Chelsea with many goals but at the end of the match Chelsea defeated Real Madrid 3-2 that gave the fans joy that Real Madrid won their last match by luck. Despite Chelsea missed the semi final, I think they have demonstrated a good performance for the world to know that they missed the opportunity by mistakes. I believe Chelsea has learnt from their mistakes in this tournament, never allow such mistakes to happen to them next year.

And people used to say what an idiot he was at Arsenal, right? Perhaps we have to admit that coaches like him may never really do well in a league system because they cannot consistently win and beat teams at their level, but if you want a coach that can outperform and use everything in his book to overcome a bigger opponent in a cup competition,,, then he is your guy.

Villareal have never reached a semifinal before, now they can dream of a final.

This is the most interesting football to watch. It all happened for 90 minutes + 30 minutes before finally Chelsea ducked and Real Madrid jumped with joy including the supporters who were in the stadium and watching on TV.

I may not be happy that Chelsea didn't qualify but the match was amazing. It's so painful that Chelsea couldn't just catch up with Madrid counter attack. In fact Chelsea should have defended through out from the moment they were taking the lead. The character from Chelsea was good and playing with the intensity they wanted and leading 3-0 just showed that they are echelons above Real Madrid. Even if Chelsea's UCL run ends here, they did absolutely well.
Taking a 2 goals deficit to play away with a league leader and still took the game to extra time even having one of their goals cancelled, should earn them much respect. Flukes happen. Shoutout to Benzema, an extraordinary player this season.

In the game between Liverpool and Benfica Lisbon, there is only one favorite to win in today's match and to be promoted. I don't believe in the surprising Benfica fight for a promotion, that we saw in yesterday's games. In this case, the skill gap and the advantage gained in the first leg in favor of Liverpool is too great. I expect a smooth promotion of Liverpool achieved with relatively little effort.

After two teams have been confirmed to be in the semifinals, now we have to wait for two more teams that will follow to the semifinals. There are
two matches that will start soon, for the Liverpool vs Benfica match seems easy to predict. With 3-1 on aggregate and the match will be played
at Anfield, it seems almost certain Liverpool will qualify for the semifinals. Because I don't see the quality of the players that Benfica has that
can make surprise in the second leg.

What is much more interesting is of course the Atletico vs Man City match, because it reminds me of the Bayern vs Villarreal match which
surprisingly Villarreal was able to get rid of Bayern. This could have happened in the Atletico vs Man City match, it is very possible for Atletico
to surprise by beating Man City. Even though Man City is a strong team, it's still not an invincible team, therefore Man City must remain vigilant
and must not underestimate Atletico in the second leg match.

Moreover, in the second leg it is likely that Simeone will use a different strategy, it is likely that Atletico will play more attacking, because Atletico's
current position requires at least one goal to equalize on aggregate. I think Atlético at the start of the game will try to score a goal, after they manage
to score one goal and the aggregate is the same, there is a possibility that Atletico will return to playing defensively by relying on counter-attacks.
Because it's not a good decision if Atletico play attacking throughout the game against a strong team like Man City.

Bayern could not cope with the defense of Villarreal, there were a lot of attacks, but the defense destroyed all the final stages, if the players of Villarreal gave a shot at their own goal, then most of them were shots from outside the penalty area. This is the sensation of the day, Bayern was left without the Champions League, Emery did the impossible.

I hope Liverpool won't put themselves under the same pressure Madrid found themselves last night after a comfortable away lead only to come back home to play with pressure. Mancity is still standing with one leg. Both games could be any way. I will glad if the two English teams can make it to the semi finals

Quite impressive Chelsea appearance Last night there were no words other than the team's performance in handling the ball and scoring goals. winning 3 Goals the situation changed instantly and the game became more interesting because real madrid played more aggressively in round 2 and a goal was born from Rodrygo feet in the 80th minute which made the real madrid camp even more excited until at the last minute real madrid were able to score the decisive goal from Benzema and real madrid  qualify for the next round with an aggregate of 5: 4

Today's championship matches line up is so incredibly exciting to look out for Liverpool and Manchester City will both be playing today but not against each other while Manchester City will be playing against Atletico Madrid and Liverpool will be playing against Benfica and am looking at the given both top clubs direct winning, I know both Manchester City and Liverpool played against each other over the last weekend and their both played well which have given me the confidence that their will win in today champion league qualifiers game.

In fact they scored 4 goals there but it was a shame that Alonso's goal was disallowed there but indeed apart from that this match really deserves to be appreciated.
at least even if they lost but they put in a pretty good game and even if the fans were disappointed but they will surely admit it was a great game for them.

I was amazed at Chelsea's performance! At first I was sure they would lose, but then I began to doubt... In the end they still lost, but the game was superb! As for Bayern, I am totally disappointed with that team... Villarreal had just one shot on target which was enough to win going into the semi-finals!

I admit that I am surprised by yesterday's results. Bayern, despite dominating most of the game, conceded a goal at the very end of the game. It was Villareal's only shot on target in the match. Real's promotion is no surprise for me, but the circumstances are. I didn't believe Chelsea would be able to fight for the promotion, but  was really close to eliminating the rivals.

Two big matches today. Frankly speaking I did not watch many matches this year but I usually do not miss big teams. Watched both first legs fortunately. The football schedule is very tough for the teams.

The plot seems comparatively easy for both City and Liverpool considering the wins in their first legs. Especially when you have 1 - 3 away win then you will consider yourself ahead. City just needs to keep the stamina to draw their match but in the next round going against Real would have harder test for them than Liverpool against Villarreal.

Well i would not say that Bayern failed miserably in the match yesterday because they totally dominated that game and could have easily won yesterday with 3-0 or more. Villareal basically scored their goal with their first shot on the goal and that guy did not even hit the ball correctly so it was a really lucky outcome of the match yesterday for Villareal. That being said it is also true that in the first leg of this match up Villareal could have also won with 3-0 so if we are looking at both games here then i would say it is not undeserved that Villareal goes through to the next round. The performance yesterday was ok from Bayern, their performance in the first leg was miserable.

As i predicted Bayern dominated the match but unfortunately they couldn't break through the Villarreal defense and this proven that statistics means nothing in this match because with 68% ball possessions and 23 total of shots cannot makes Bayern win the match however although Villareal went to semi-final but possibly for next season we won't see them playing at champion league again this because their current position on LaLiga was 7th and with 11 points behind Atletico i think it's very hard for them to reach top 4
