Munich played very openly because they were chasing goals down. they managed to equalize but in the end, they had to lose. Villarreal read well the strategy and gaps from Munich. good ending for Villarreal.

Apart from the defeat, Chelsea did look amazing in this second leg, they were even able to turn things around even though they actually lost in the end. These 3 goals under pressure from the Real Madrid crowd is absolutely incredible, plus they were trailing in the first leg. But Real Madrid are a mentally strong team, so they can overcome their losses in peace.

Excellent work shown by Villarreal, they managed to get rid of seeded team Bayern Munich from the Champions League. The victory in the first leg and a draw in the second leg made them the first team to qualify for the semifinals. Actually Bayern Munich played well, but Villarreal's defense was much more solid so it could close Bayern Munich's chances of creating chances. Absolutely amazing, congratulations to Villarreal.

In extra time, Chelsea actually wins the match if the forward can shoot the ball right, but as I can see Havertz and Ziyac always miss and I believe if Lukaku is on in the squad, he will finish it with the winning. And, congrats to Madrid I can't believe they created a balanced goal in minute 80. Before, Chelsea is very confident about the semi-final, but Rodrygo makes public reverse again to Madrid, nothing to doubt, Madrid deserved it.

The Real Madrid vs Chelsea match was much more interesting than the first leg, Chelsea really showed their best performance. To be able to score 3 goals
first is something extraordinary for Chelsea, Chelsea only need to last 15 minutes to qualify for the next round. But it seems that the winning mentality of

They are decreasing the effectiveness in attacking, too many shots without accuracy. What's wrong with Bayern Munich? I suspect something bad happens there. On the other side, Villareal played very well and they didn't miss a chance to make a draw in Leg 2. They only have 1 shot on target, but they can convert it to be 1 goal. The match was really interesting, initially I was thinking Chelsea will give us a surprise as Villareal do by eliminating Bayern Munich, but Real Madrid stand strong to deny Chelsea's semi finals Ticket. Nevertheless all of them tried but Benzima has once again proves to the world that he is capable of leading his team as a Captain.

Indeed, Chelsea managed to achieve the third goal, but it was not enough to reach the semi-finals because Real Madrid managed to achieve the equalizing goal, and then Benzema was able to delight the fans by scoring the winning goal.

You know at first it seemed like a nice come back for Chelsea when the goals started coming in but Real Madrid had other plans. The French man Karim Benzema wasn't going to give off his chances of proving that his capable of carrying the team on his shoulders to win the trophy from the English side and take it right over to the Spanish side. Chelsea did start on a hood foot though, getting that 3 goals ahead, knowing fully what was at stake and the fact that, that could make them win it but still Real Madrid had let them, that was some real beem of hope. I guess they got sloppy and K. Benzema is always snooping around.

I agree with you, Chelsea lost, they bottled a 3 goal lead with 13 minutes to go. They won away at Madrid ofcourse but it is useless; they are out of the tournament, Real madrid is the big winner of the tie and could go on to win the champions league. The record is the only consolation for chelsea tonight

To me i would say Villareal deserved to qualify ahead of Bayern Munich, in both legs Villareal vs Bayern. Villareal was the better team, they created more big chances and limited Bayern Munich to spam crosses throughout both ties. Defended in low block, kept shape intact and also made sure their keeper had little to do. It was a defensive masterclass from Unai Emery. Bayern can now focus on winning the bundesliga. Bayern bottled this quarter final tie
