I think no one should expect Lionel Messi to carry his whole team alone. In a situation of a game like it was yesterday in the second half where his own team is under heavy pressure i don't think that people can really expect that Messi has a huge impact there as he can not do much about it. He never really helped defending much and i doubt that he will start to do that in this late stage of his career. Paris looked pretty strong until that mistake of the goalkeeper happened, then they became nervous and could not control the game anymore, which is unlucky but stuff like that happens. Benzema showed an incredible performance and is in the shape of his life.

That's a joke about Messi going to be brilliant but in fact Messi didn't make a good contribution he was getting locked up and depressed with that match, honestly I didn't expect Real Madrid to come back and Benzema was the hero who scored a hat-trick to win Los Blancos progress to the next round.
There is a rumor that PSG's predictor (Nasser Al-Khelaifi) is lashing out at the referee and he is fed up with his squad paying a lot of players but in reality it should be eliminated as well.

It has been proven since few years back when PSG started to buy many Star players but they cant achieve the best in Champion League. Simply they can build a team with a lot of money but they cant buy a CL title with money. I do doubt they can win CL even if they have Ancelotti or Guardiola with the current squad. Having 1-2 star players is good enough but having too many star players is not good at all especially if the star players are all in the similar position.

I think the difference between Real Madrid and PSG yesterday was the mentality. Even when Real Madrid was down with a goal, they still had the belief that they could turn things around. The moment they got one goal, PSG went blank mentally. And that was the turning point for Real Madrid. The spirit, the desire to win and the dedication made by Real Madrid players was the difference. The impressive performance Karim Benzema gives isn't commonly found in this generation football. His creativity is beyond doubt wonderful. I hope tonight come-back by Real Madrid gives Mbappe more confidence to work with Real Madrid next season.

I agree with you. Despite having a great squad, PSG lost only because of poor match tactics. And with such a weak match strategy they have been showing from the start of the season. We did not see any improvement in them.
Although I'm not a fan of Real Madrid, I would say that Benzema's performance at the age of 34, is truly impressive. He has scored three goals by fooling the defenders of the team like PSG.

The French League isn't as a competitive as the Primera Division,so PSG can't maintain a top tier level during the season like Real Madrid.Having a team full of superstars like Mesi and Neymar isn't enough.
The PSG owners must invest into better players in defense.I don't consider Sergio Ramos to be such investment,since he is too far away from his prime years.
Real Madrid is capable of beating every team in the tournament.It doesn't matter if it's going to be Bayern,Liverpool or Manchester City.This year's edition of the UEFA Champions League is going to be really unpredictable.

PSG's defeat to host Real Madrid was Mario Pochettino's full responsibility in formulating strategies, even though they took the lead through Kylian Mappe but PSG had to concede three goals in the second half, maybe Belgium should improve more from the coaching sector and also their defense often misses in the second half. the final minutes of the match so that PSG failed to advance to the last 8 of the UCL this season, naturally because PSG were more dominant in terms of attack but they could not defend well which was used by Karim Benzema and his friends to get rid of PSG in the event European Champions League last 16

I also think that PSG's current problem is that coach Pochettino is not able to take full advantage of the star players who are already in the team, the lack of tactics and experience of nurturing soccer superstars makes a problem so that PSG's game does not run well.
In terms of quality, PSG players are above Real Madrid, but in this match mentality is needed. Real Madrid's big name, who has won the most UCL trophies, was able to inspire players and lift their mentality, it was proven when they were 1 goal behind and were able to score 3 to decide the win. and advance to the next round.

It's true as you said, having a lot of money is very important, but managing the money we have is even more difficult, it's proven that PSG can't do much in the champions league, try to learn from the liferpol club, even though they don't have a lot of coffers of money but they are able to become competitors in the champions league, the work that must be done by PSG is to buy strong defenders, and look for coaches who have accurate tactics, such as Jorgen klop, Pepguardiola, because coaches who are full of experience are definitely able to take the club to higher ground.
