PSG must be devastated after this unbelievable score they got yesterday. I really don't have any idea how they managed to hand the quarter-finals ticket to Real Madrid this much easily. PSG got even ahead by 1-0 and I was like that must have been it for them. But the game was starting just new then. PSG made very simple mistakes and Real Madrid made use of this chance in the best way possible too. Benzema especially was just incredible. This guy is the most important player for the team undoubtedly. And the admiration level to him has increased even more after this performance by a hat-trick.
This is indeed a heavy blow for PSG to start the UCL having to accept failure where their club is filled with extraordinary players. Inevitably the failure to enter the quarter-finals makes PSG have no other reason. As we expected, Mbappe also seems to have chosen a new club. If it is true that PSG must reduce players who in fact are all among the highest-paid players. The tickets that Madrid gets will be very motivating that they can now be one step ahead of PSG.
The only trophy PSG had any hopes of winning is the french Ligue 1 as they have been knocked out of the champions league. Mauricio Pochettino career in PSG is over, the club will looking to hire another manager after the devastating loss to Real Madrid. Pochettino have himself to blame. He has all the arsenal he needs to win

PSG have really disappointed in the last two matches, in Ligue 1 PSG lost against Nice. After that, it was very dramatic to lose to Real Madrid
in the second leg of the Champions League and finally made PSG eliminated. Of course the highlight of PSG's failure in the Champions League is
Mauricio Pochettino, According to rumors, Nasser Al-Khelaifi was furious after PSG lost to Real Madrid. The PSG president was very dissatisfied
with Pochettino's strategy, and it is reported that Nasser Al-Khelaifi will sack Pochettino at the end of this season. Even though Pochettino's contract
still exists until June 2023, so it doesn't affect PSG to win the Ligue 1 trophy this season doesn't seem to change the fate of Pochettino who will soon
be sacked. It seems that the strongest candidate to become PSG coach to replace Pochettino is Zinedine Zidane.

Never say never, this magic always happens in the champions League, you don't have to play with your chances in the champions League because the next minute will cost you,it happens in 2006 when AC Milan wss winning Liverpool 3-0 in the final then suddenly Liverpool equalise all the goals and win AC Milan in the penalties shootout.even when Paris Saint Germain won Barca first leg 4-1 then second leg Barcelona won 6-1 or so this is the mystery of the champions League.
Yeah sometimes there are some magical moments in football like this and thats why we love to watch it you can't predict the outcome some times in my opinion barcelona comeback was the most epic after losing the first leg 4 0 they manage to make a comeback by scoring three goals in the last 15 minutes against a team playing defense and of the caliber of psg.

We should be aware of this especially against experienced teams in the Champions League we know Madrid dominate the UCL every season it's just that this season is a bit different because without big players that's why some people have doubts. It will be interesting to see who Madrid next opponent will be, is it Manchester City?
Premier League leaves 3 representatives there is a potential winner this season from the EPL.

With each season, the PSG = P$G formula becomes more and more true. They spend astronomical money only to crash in the first serious match where they need to show character. This happens almost every season (only the Champions League covid season was more or less successful for them).
Mbappe is leaving, Messi is getting old, Pochettino will definitely be sacked - I don't know what the PSG management will do to make the club stronger next season or at least not experience a dip in results.
Maybe it time for the whole management of PSG (including the sheikh who gives them all the money) to slowly realize that money does not automatically give you the big titles in european football. They have a great team no doubt, but i think it is wrong of the management to demand that the team must win the Champions League title before each and every season, that puts a huge amount of pressure onto the players and once an unexpected setback happens like that big mistake by Donnarumma yesterday then the whole team suddenly is starting to get nervous again because they know what huge expectations the management always have.
What investments, such expectations. If the players agree to receive a lot of money and come to Paris Saint-Germain, then why shouldn't the club's management not just expect, but demand the maximum result from them? Therefore, if the players' nerves are not right, then I think that then they should look for another club that pays less, but also has smaller ambitions. And I don't believe that players like Neymar, Messi and even Donnarumma, despite their youth, with their experience of victories, have psychological problems because of the burden of responsibility. By the way, with Donnarumma, this has happened before, just the opposite due to too much self-confidence.

I was not expecting Real Madrid to qualify by winning PSG, from 0 - 2 goals down to 3 - 2, I even thought PSG may go to final and may have more chance to win but I was very wrong.

That is why football is the most unpredictable sport among all sport competitions. You can get heartbreak at the dying minute. PSG was the favorite going into that game but it was never to be. They very played well in the first half but the second half exposed their lack of coordination and discipline.

Benzema was more than the man of the match. We can call him Doctor of the match because he lifted up more downcasted hearts yesterday and shattered that of those who believe that Messi is a god. I like how the match ended. It was value for time spent watching it. We all have to begin to see that Messi and Ronaldo have both gone past their prime and let them rest. Age is no longer on their side.
That's the difference between being a team, and being talented. Like PSG was just a team of talented people thrown together and asked to play together, which never resulted with a good chemistry and they were never really good.

However, at the end of the day Real is a team, they have so many players who have been playing together for so long and they know each other and they know how to play together as well. That was the result that got Real the scores and that is why they are going to the next stage. They are not the club with the most championship trophies for no reason, they know how to play and it is in their DNA, most of their players actually have like what 3-4 UCL cups? Maybe even more who knows. That experience during those stages matter a lot.

I agree with you that they need a coach like zinidine Zidane as there new manager, those are the caliber of coaches they need, pep guadiola Klopp Conte allegri and simeone can do the magic for them not a coach like Mauricio Pochetino that could not win anything at Tottenham Hotspur and could not even win the league 1 title last season and might lose out this season too.

With the defeat in this match, we realized again that there are a lot of problems inside the PSG team. And performing well on platforms like the Champions League without solving their own problems is like a daydream. Coach Poch needed to be fired earlier. PSG might not have lost so badly if they had been sacked their coach earlier. However, hopefully PSG will return in a stronger form next season.

That was absolutely mental, how PSG was ahead and looking cocky(at least to me) but Benzema managed something absolutely amazing and a result happened which cannot be forgotten for a long time. One of the best highlights of the recent years.

Spectacularity of the game and Benzema aside, Real Madrid did not generally played very good for both of the games. But I don't think PSG played good either. PSG managed to score the goal somehow easily but they couldn't pressure enough throughout the game and they cannot use Messi enough, at least how he supposed to.

I don't see Real's future in CL so good. There are surely better teams and they will give Real a hell of a challenge.

Why was PSG looking cocky? I thought they were playing another amazingly solid game until Donnaruma gave it away. I wouldn't say that PSG looked cocky, sure the play by the goalie did, but in general PSG played solid. On top of that there was this crazy close offside goal by Mbappe. In the end it was Donnaruma who really made the whole team take a hit with his mistake.

What I do agree with though is how PSG gave it away after the equalizer was just ridiculous. That should never happen to a world class team. Sadly we won't see Mbappe play this CL season anymore. That dude is an absolute rocket.

Real Madrid will be able to reach the final if Benzema and Vinicius are not injured.

One epic come back from Real Madrid against PSG doesnt mean that they are going to reach the final, there are still some other teams that is going to be quite a hurdle for Real Madrid. They were great last night against PSG but that also means the other teams are going to be much aware of Benzema so probably he wont have the chances to score on the next one

I also read what happened after the game. The PSG coach and owner were furious with the referee, because it would be a foul on the goalkeeper. If that keeper hadn't been juggling the ball like that, he would never have gotten into the position. It's a good thing the referee allowed him to continue. Then the coach says that his players were knocked out after that 1-1? What nonsense. They are no longer 15-year-old boys, but superpros, the very best in the world. And at the 1-1 PSG was also still through with that scoreline. A lot of theater from the coach, but it is really up to PSG themselves because they have left all those opportunities unused.

Four teams have already qualified for the last 16 and will compete in the last 8 of the Champions League, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid. The remaining four matches I am interested in the Manchester United vs Atletico Madrid match. They are still as strong by creating one goal each in the first meeting. But in the second leg I'm not sure Manchester United will repeat the same thing, but hopefully my prediction is wrong.
It will be very interesting to see if Manchester United can win and ensure themselves to qualify for the next round because for the time being the aggregate is still the same, namely 1 - 1 and if Manchester United can be able to score another goal in the second leg, then it is something that is extraordinary because the current condition of Manchester United is very different from other clubs.
both teams still have the same chance to qualify for the next phase.  But I think Manchester United will go all out in their Theater of Dream.  The presence of Cristiano Ronaldo really helps the team's mentality, they will not be carried away by last week's disappointing results in the domestic league and Ralf Rangnick will show his true identity in front of MU fans, this is a gamble for him.

I was expecting Real Madrid to end ninety minutes by being one goal ahead and we would have watched extra time being played thanks to this. Even though being 1-0 behind first, Real Madrid turned the game around amazingly and got 2-1 ahead. But they didn't make do with it. They scored another goal right after their second goal due to a huge mistake by PSG defense. And they are in the quarter finals now as they won by 3-1. It was a magical day for Real Madrid I think. It seemed very difficult after PSG got ahead but they still made it.

PSG are a better team than Madrid, but Madrid is now through. I think Bayern Munich and Manchester City in particular are very happy with this, they prefer to play against Madrid than against PSG. I thought that defense by PSG a number of times was very sloppy. But in the first half PSG should have been ahead 0-3 and that would have been the end of the story. The new rule is nice, and I also think it is much fairer because of the away goals.
