What a pathetic team it looked yesterday PSG while it was completely the opposite when playing in Paris as they dominated completely the game and Real Madrid at that game just made one shot on goal.I had a bet on PSG to win the Champions League this year but yesterday they totally deserved to lose.

Manchester City made another upset as a result not being able to score against Sporting Lisbona in their home field, most probably they are looking also to safe guard forces for the title as they are in a fierce battle with Liverpool. They although made many bet losing tickets they got what they wanted, further qualification.

I was greatly surprised at how the game yesterday turned from a Real Madrid 0:1 PSG win on a 2 goals aggregate advantage to a Real Madrid 3:1 PSG loose and a 3:2  goals aggregate I favour of Real Madrid. After Kylian Mbappe's goal, I never thought Real Madrid still had a chance but, they won this game with there experience in the league. Thanks to Karim Benzema, his the man for Spain!

I had already commented on this, that real madrid has something that PSG doesn't have, PSG don't have a good defense and they don't have motivation, Messi and Neymar don't fit in PSG, they seem more like players who are just there to contribute sometimes, it is not normal for the two players to play very well at barcelona but they arrive at PSG and are not playing well, this can only have one explanation: they are not suitable for the france league

Real madrid has a weak point, they have become very dependent on Karin benzema, this is not good because when karin benzema is not playing they do not win games and have difficulties in scoring goals
Maybe you can check again with score rating for PSG defender almost all them have get lower rating score and I think all position need fault are on defender why PSG have loss 3 goal from Karim Benzema, I see from Goalkeeper Donnarumma  make mistake when keep controlling ball on his area and we know with higher pressure by Karim Benzema make him can't take away ball from his area before taking by Rodrygo and given assist for first goal Karim Benzema, I think second and third goal Karim Benzema was created from mistake on defender PSG position player exactly last goal scoring when Marquinhos failed and give good assist for benzema goals.

The Real Madrid vs PSG game was definitely something special. I got what I expected from this game from the start to the end. Real Madrid started playing just in the way that most people expected. And they had no choice rather than having an attacking football of course. But after PSG scored thanks to Mbappe, I started thinking that this would have been the end of the road for Real Madrid. But the second half was incredible! Real Madrid showed how much experienced team they were in the Champions League. And they made an insane comeback by getting 3-1 ahead. Benzema made a hat-trick in only 17 minutes! Donnarumma and PSG defense's mistakes cost them really high. PSG must be very disappointed about being eliminated like this.

Real Madrid are good. Pity PSG didn't make the quarter finals, but Real was better. Manchester City didn't bother against Sporting and decided not to waste any energy. So far in the Champions League everything is going without surprises. I think that the next matches may be unpredictable, in three games there was a draw and it is not known who will be stronger. So far, I have no doubts only about Chelsea.

I was amazed by Mauricio Pochettino when he was in Spurs, I was in awe of his remarkable achievements. I always imagine what wonders he could achieve with better players. Now here he is with Neymar, Mbappe, Messi, Marco Verratti and he is still not able to convince the world what his level is as a football manager

Kylian Mbappe will be part of this club next season hurting defender's and  clubs with he's magic feet's and pace.
I will love to see him team up with, Benzema, Vinicius and Himself, Rodrigo can come as a back up plan for this team.
Furiously vexed at the defeat yesterday from Neymar to donnaruma and the director.
No biases but Ronaldo won the Champions League at 34 and wants to do it again at 37. Messi fans will goin in their she'll for some time now. Football is the best sports, hate it or love it.

Of course yes! Kylian Mbappe deserves all the appraisals his getting and even more. The truth behind the matter is, he's just one man on the pitch and can't do more than a single guy could do. Unfortunately for him, he's surrounded by all the best players that are good and providing zero team effort. Neymar jnr and Messi aren't very good players when it comes to chasing or marking players over a loosed ball. In fact, you can equate then with the referee. That alone is a minus for the PSG team and the worst part of it is, these are players that can't be scolded or benched.

You can't blame the strikers for the mistakes of defenders who don't defend well. Strikers only help the defense as much as they can because they are not expected to do so every time the opposing attacker has the ball.

In that match PSG's defense was very bad where 3 goals scored by Benzema were their fault. Donnarumna made a fatal mistake, Marquinhos failed to clear the ball properly and all the drama was only their inability to defend well as Real Madrid started to bounce back after Benzema's first goal. I don't know what to say about the poor performance of the team but honestly they have tried to do it in the best possible way. This defeat was not expected, but Real Madrid played quite well after their first goal.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills

That's a joke about Messi going to be brilliant but in fact Messi didn't make a good contribution he was getting locked up and depressed with that match, honestly I didn't expect Real Madrid to come back and Benzema was the hero who scored a hat-trick to win Los Blancos progress to the next round.
There is a rumor that PSG's predictor (Nasser Al-Khelaifi) is lashing out at the referee and he is fed up with his squad paying a lot of players but in reality it should be eliminated as well.

If we look at the match we can judge if neymar and mbappe made a big contribution throughout the match, even though they lost but I saw that mbappe and neymar had worked hard enough, while messi I even thought if he didn't play in the match because he didn't look stand out at all, PSG's frail defense made it easy for Benzema to score 3 goals, besides the inclusion of Camavinga made a pretty significant change to Madrid's attack and I think this is what is known as the Ancelloti Experience.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi should be quite angry with the performance of their squad, because the main reason Nasser Al-Khelaifi has spent quite a lot of money so far is to win the Champions League trophy for the first time, but the elimination of PSG in the round of 16 has definitely shattered his dreams and also PSG fans.

Maybe it's also an annoyance with a star player who was brought in but not enough to continue to the last 8 in 16 to be tragically eliminated, Real Madrid was cruel in the first leg giving PSG hope but in the second leg it was a big surprise we saw.
Many tweets of legends of football players appreciating what Benzema did, even at the same time Dani Alves praised him on his Instagram insta story.

There has been a lot of talk about kylian mbappe. His fans have referred to him as the heir to the throne. Does he really deserve all the credits he is getting? I have always felt in the past that the talk is a little bit more than the substance itself. And last night I wasn't wrong.

Shame Inter couldn't score a second goal. But their game still didn't look confident, strange that they could win this match at all, breaking Liverpool's unbeaten streak. Of course the red card probably played a cruel role but Liverpool did not give them an opportunity to strike. On the other hand, Bayern showed what they could do.
Concerning Liverpool's loss, I feel it was something they allowed because even as they(Inter) scored that goal, it didn't make any difference. But look at the red card given to Sanchez, was he really deserving of it? I saw it as a tackle cause his leg first hit the ball before hitting the Liverpool players leg. All the same, Liverpool ended up qualifying. Well done, Jurgen!!

For some reason it was predictable to me that Real would beat PSG... Benzema showed who's boss on the field! Grin The French certainly have a stars team, but they lack the teamwork and experience in such competitions... No wonder Real lost away and defeated PSG at home!

Many predicted that Real Madrid would win, Madrid is a stronger team. Benzema played excellent, became king of the court and scored a hat trick. Actually, PSG did not play badly, but Real Madrid wanted to win this match more, they played with all their strength on the field. Despite conceding the first goal, they did not give up and managed to win the match

From a Barca fan: well done Real Madrid. One simply has to take hats off to their rivals when they played like last night.

Just finished watching the extended highlights and it's clear PSG players cannot collect themselves when under panic.

1st goal Donnarumma: what the hell?
2nd goal Neymar: Not first time giving ball away, he always does this
3rd goal Marquinhos: Clear the ball, please?

The impressive performance Karim Benzema gives isn't commonly found

It just shows that the very best players are capable of winning a match single-handed. Benzema made all the difference here, and it will go down in history and Real folklore as one of the epic individual performances, twnety minutes and three goals that completely transformed the tie.

Talking of how it just takes one brilliant individual to turn a match around, who did PSG have up front? Messi. Mbappe. Neymar. Any of them should be capable of the same. But it's just not working out, that's their season gone now, really. All that's left is the league, which they've effectively won already. Nothing to do until next year, and another try at the Champions League. I'd be surprised if they have the same front three then.

Wow, I am very impressed with Real Madrid's winning mentality, because at half time Real Madrid were 1-0 down and that also made it 2-0 on aggregate. But surprisingly, Real Madrid showed a real winning mentality, and also with a perfect comeback from Benzema's hat-trick goal. It was a really, really great return that Real Madrid made because the opponent wasn't a weak opponent either, it was a much better game compared to the first leg. Congratulations to Real Madrid for qualifying for the quarter-finals, and to PSG they really have a problem with a mismatched coach.
I think the difference between Real Madrid and PSG yesterday was the mentality. Even when Real Madrid was down with a goal, they still had the belief that they could turn things around. The moment they got one goal, PSG went blank mentally. And that was the turning point for Real Madrid. The spirit, the desire to win and the dedication made by Real Madrid players was the difference. The impressive performance Karim Benzema gives isn't commonly found in this generation football. His creativity is beyond doubt wonderful. I hope tonight come-back by Real Madrid gives Mbappe more confidence to work with Real Madrid next season.

Yes, Real Madrid players have great composure. Despite being 0-1 down in the first half but they don't want to just give up and that's why they were able to take advantage of some mistakes made by PSG players, so they could turn things around. Well, even though the first goal scored by Benzema was a bit controversial, overall he played very brilliantly in that match. He's not young anymore, but he can still play consistently and he still has a sharp goal sense. Of course, it will be very interesting if Benzema will be able to partner with Mbappe at Real Madrid, as they have done in the French national team.

I'm definitely surprised too
Real Madrid have defeated, in my opinion, a team that is stronger (in terms of players) using
- winning mentality (as you say)
- experience
- a pinch of calculated risk
Well done, deserved victory

I say it is a truely deserving win for Real Madrid and amazing comeback at that. Imagine when it was looking like PSG will dominate in their turf, giving good passes and having control for the better part of the first half, the second half came around and Real Madrid came on strong. Congratulations to benzema as he was able to net the goal three times making him the man of the match and pushing his team forward to quarter finals.

I was not expecting Real Madrid to qualify by winning PSG, from 0 - 2 goals down to 3 - 2, I even thought PSG may go to final and may have more chance to win but I was very wrong.

That is why football is the most unpredictable sport among all sport competitions. You can get heartbreak at the dying minute. PSG was the favorite going into that game but it was never to be. They very played well in the first half but the second half exposed their lack of coordination and discipline.

Benzema was more than the man of the match. We can call him Doctor of the match because he lifted up more downcasted hearts yesterday and shattered that of those who believe that Messi is a god. I like how the match ended. It was value for time spent watching it. We all have to begin to see that Messi and Ronaldo have both gone past their prime and let them rest. Age is no longer on their side.

PSG is not a team to win champions league. Too many individual brilliance and to win the champions league you need team work and individual brilliant. Those two goes together. You can't have one and not have the other. Too many mistakes at the back. Their players play like a team that won the game already. As long as they continue playing like that it will take them 10 years to win champions league. I still think PSG in terms of quality are probably better. But in terms of stability they have none, this is not the first time that they’ve self-destruct. And that today is the reason why they lost. Not because Real Madrid was better.
