Why it is naive? It is my prediction, I consider how Real Madrid should deal with PSG strikers. I think Real Madrid coach may consider about this. lol I like your analysis, PSG made sure that their likely opponents in the knockout stages might bring them Real Madrid and before anything happens they needed to weaken the team and what better way of doing this if not removing Ramos from the picture....brilliant game excursion!! Actually I look at this issue from a totally different angle. If I was Mbappe I wouldn't want Real Madrid to win the Champions League the year before I sign a contract with them. In fact I would want them to lose early and then when I join the team win the trophy, so everybody says that Mbappe made the difference. I never thought a player who was about to transfer to another club would harm the club he is currently playing for.

Well in the Champions League he has scored a couple of goals so far. In Ligue 1 it's definitely not going well for him. If I were Pochettino I would also leave Ramons on the bench. I also think that PSG have the needed team composition now. At the first times, Messi was struggling to adapt to the team but it was normal of course. Because he played for Barcelona for so many years. It is not easy to adapt to a completely new system very quickly. But from now on, it seems like Messi has started playing at a really good level. PSG is playing crazy this season... they score a lot, but they also receive many goals! In too many games PSG was losing in the first half and then winning in the end! It's going to be a game with a whole lot of pressure, for the two managers and all the players, two teams that are amongst the favorites for the CL title and now one has to go in just the round of 16, it's going to be a match of fine margins and the winner of this game will be making a big statement and sending a warning message to other title contenders. Liverpool might not have an easy job against Inter in last 16 round I think. Inter seem to be a more powerful team than Milan now. Considering Liverpool's results against Milan, I expect them to have a bigger difficulty in eliminating Inter. Especially in the first leg which is in Giuseppe Meazza, Inter might even beat them by one goal but I don't think so. I think that the first leg will end in a draw by a result like 1-1 or 2-2.
