Excited to see the draw for the 1/4 finals tomorrow. Big teams remain, I wonder who will play who.
All the other teams will be hoping to escape Bayern and City, and I also hope they do not face each other, at least not yet, that game will be fitting of a UCL semi-final or final. Liverpool have it all to play for now that they are in the last eight of the UCL, it's been a disappointing season for them in the English league, so they'd hope for the weakest team in Porto so they could make it to the last four and maintain hopes of winning the CL and qualifying for the tournament next season, as it's their only chance.

Pep really has a lot to prove this season, after four failed outings in the CL with City and having won so many domestic titles, his critics will be holding their breath, waiting to criticize him if he fumbles this season. All this and many more will come into play as these teams pray for a favorable draw for themselves tomorrow.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Another dominant Chelsea performance, they are really looking good under Tuchel. I have to admit I expected way more from Atletico over 2 legs - it seemed almost too easy for Chelsea.

I'm looking forward to the draw, I really hope we get Porto. I know it isn't sexy and we played them recently, but give me a tie with the best chance of progress.
Tuchel brought Chelsea better with last night's match made Chelsea more confident in their increasingly scintillating game, this is a big change so I think Tuchel can bring Chelsea champions if they have a really brilliant performance, this is the best coach where they recruit not wrongly , and most likely in the future Tuchel can bring more trophies with Chelsea.

Lack of experience in Champions League!
This is what happened yesterday between Real, which has won the highest number of cups so far, and Atalanta which evidently still need to get a sense of what's like to play big teams in the final stages.
I enjoyed the game and I won my bet, I had no doubts that RM was going to win the game.

The match was very close when it comes to the statistics actually. But Real Madrid were the side that made a very good use of their goal chances and finished Atalanta home 3-1. Benzema and Ramos both were injured in the first leg but they have come back and each of them scored a goal last night. And I must admit that I enjoyed Muriel's free-kick goal also.  Grin
I am a bit disappointed by Atlanta, expected that they have enough power to at least make Real Madrid sweat a little. As mentioned before experience matter a lot in these games and there are very few teams with more experience than Real, if any.

Atalanta could also be pissed on referee and VAR calls. That red card from first game would have been yellow if it happened for Real and also this penalty yesterday looked a bit off. I am thinking the foul started outside the box and that should have been a free kick.

No matter, Atalanta scored that one goal and I had both to score on my ticket so all good here  Grin

I agree with you. I would also expect much more from Atalanta in this match. I expected them to fight back against Real Madrid and it would be a very hard match for Real Madrid even if they advance to the quarter final. But it was a different match than expected unfortunately. I wonder which team will be Real's opponent next and whether they will manage to eliminate them too.

I was full of confidence, Tuchel is a masterclass he has turned Chelsea to a champions league contenders. That's a consecutive 13 game  unbeaten run with 9 clean sheets
for a coach who just took over a month ago.
I'm looking forward to the draw, I really hope we get Porto. I know it isn't sexy and we played them recently, but give me a tie with the best chance of progress.
Porto won't be a bad idea but we need something more challenging and tough, Dortmund won't be a bad idea for me.

Yeah, boring, same teams as all expected except maybe Chelsea who I feel are still weaker than Atletico but somehow found a way to get the goals. I don't think there was really any real upsets in who qualified this time (except for poor Juventus). Now I feel like I should just back Porto all the way, who knows, at least until the final?

I was not surprised about chelsea they really improved since tuchel arrival and atletico recently are losing points and they might even lose the title but i still think its a logical outcame since atletico they did nothing to win yesterday match.

Why do not put few bucks on Porto now? The odds is the highest compared to the other teams obviously. Below is the average odds of every single team who goes to the quarter finals based on some sources:

Man City 3.25
Bayern Munich 4
PSG 6.5
Liverpool 7
Chelsea 8.5
Real Madrid  10
Borussia Dortmund 18
FC Porto 36

Honestly, I'm a bit surprised to see Real Madrid is under Chelsea. Of course the odds may change once the draw is done. I guess we will see an early Final match on the Quarter Final.

I guess everyone wants to draw Porto now for the quarterfinals and maybe Dortmund all other teams are top class and every match between two of those teams could also easily be a final.
Even as a bayern supporter i have to admit that ManCity looks stronger at the moment than bayern. The odds you posted also confirm that. Bayern is not as stable as last league, but they still have time to improve.
Real Madrid is just not the same team as in previous years and i think that the high odds of them are justified.

All of today's games actually turned out more clearly than expected in the overall result. All games with 3 or more goals differed in the overall result. Impressive and that in the Champions League.
right, all the results created as expected...
tomorrow will be a tough match to predict. as a Chelsea fan of course I hope my team will win but the possibility of a draw is also very high. We all know that ATM are at the top of the Spanish league

After the next round the same, each game with 3 or more goals different. For the Champions League impressive when the games go out with so many goals difference, the power density already so different?

Chelsea is absolutely better than Atletico Madrid. They won in total 3-0 against them.Atletico lately has become weaker and weaker not only in La Liga but also in Champions as we saw yesterday. Now it will be tough for teams like Porto as they will be out of the Champions whichever team faces them from.

Over two legs, I had expected Atletico Madrid to advance, but I must admit that the changing coach might have been the best thing Chelsea has done this season. I'd love to witness a Bayern Munich vs Manchester City in the quarterfinals, or PSG vs Manchester City.

Yesterday's match between Chelsea and Atletico Madrid surprised me very much. I have not seen Simeone so helpless for a long time. I think it is time for him to change the team.

PSG-City-Bayern who will win?

I'm betting on PSG.

I think we should first wait for the determination of the pairs for the next round, and after the first matches, then it will be possible to determine approximately the teams for the final match and the winner.

But I think that PSG will not be able to win the Champions League this time.

PSG-City-Bayern who will win?

I'm betting on PSG.
There are 3 representative team from the EPL who will continue the match in the UCL quarter-finals this season. England still have a lot of hope to see the UCL brought back there by 1 of the remaining 3 team. I'd rather see Manchester City do it. But it will be difficult if the opponent is PSG, Bayern Munich or Real Madrid. But I also don't want the draw to require them to face 2 other English team. It's the same as an EPL match that change title.
I also prefer any of the two EPL clubs to met in semi-final honestly the trio of Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool had performed well in this year UCL even Liverpool despite their poor EPL outings,
Pairing any one of the teams against PSG, Real or Bayern Munich will be very tough for any of them to scale through or qualify, Man City was eliminated in the quarter final by Lyon last season possibly this next stage might be their final bus stop considering the quality and good form of their next opponents

Yeah we might as well wait for the draw before placing any bet.

We know it's a different competition and teams play differently on CL but odds will be based on the current team's form and injuries. Chelsea is playing well in the Premier League unlike Real Madrid who looks to be declining.

La Liga now is witnessing the same fall as Serie A are facing in the past decade. After the golden period from Barcelona and Real Madrid, they are falling and Real Madrid is the only representative of La Liga in Champions League for the Quarter final round.

Bundesliga and Premier League look are maitaining their positions among top leagues. 2 representatives for Bundesliga and 3 for Premier League.

Me too. I am betting on PSG as they gradually mature and show how strong they can fight for the title. They are now more confidendent than 3 seasons ago. The amazing adventure in the last season and the failure in final match give them more confidence and stimulate ambition in their players.

Pochettino as a coach really want to have a final match and title in Champions League.

It's hard to guess who the winner of both teams, PSG, City, Bayern or Madrid. but when drawing on 19th march both teams meet on quarter-final, those all will different. maybe PSG meets Munchen and City meet Madrid?. who's know, both teams (a Favorite team) will end on quarter-final only, possible a dark-horse candidate will be champion such Porto, our eyes on the favorite team only, a bettor will win much if bet Porto at the beginning.
