The 5-0 win over crotone in Serie A was enough to keep their confidence in the face of Madrid. I see Atalanta are still quite consistent with their performance since last season. Even though Madrid is the host and have 1 away goal ahead, Atalanta seems to be able to maintain the potential to win. 2 goals for Atalanta, still make sense. I wish they will go to the next round once again.

They still have two matches before the CL game. One of them is vs Inter away and another is vs Spezia home. Inter will be too challenging for them as Inter are going on very decidedly for the championship and they have a great form. Maybe Atalanta can lose it. But I believe they can make up for that vs Spezia and be ready mentally for the CL game vs Real Madrid. Atalanta still have a chance for advancing to the quarter final and I think they will do their best.

I changed my mind, I will only watch it hoping to have a fun game (and where Atalanta wins)

I thought it was difficult, although it could happen. Madrid will play at home Santiago Bernabeu , this is an advantage. Apart from that, I see that Ramos' recovery is very fast, he has started training with Benzema, even though he is separated. If this is true then the madrid squad will look even better than first leg. So I hope Real Madrid can win and move on to the next round. The provision of victory at Atalanta's home will make Madrid even more confident in beating Atalanta.

I don't think Real is going to progress very far with mostly the same starting squad they had in previous years. I wouldn't be surprised if they get eliminated from the quarterfinals.

But it is possible that Real Madrid will give a surprise in the Champions League because the only hope that still exists to get a trophy is in this Champions League. Even though they still have a chance to catch Atletico in La Liga, but their chance is getting thinner.

So at least they will try with all their might in the Champions League, although it is possible they could also be eliminated if their current performance is not getting better, and moreover, Sergio Ramos's unresolved contract extension might affect the team.

Yes but in first leg, Real Madrid have much problem in the game.. and in 10 men, Atalanta stay good
if 11 remained, I don't know how the match could have ended, even a draw could have happened..

Hey let's make things a little more spicy, since things are getting boring here. Does anyone want to make a 1mBTC side bet for the CL winner? I was thinking more of a pool where each person pitches in 1mBTC so that the winner gets the whole prize pool instead of just a 2-person bet.

I'm willing to punt 1mBTC On Juventus winning the CL. Rolando is determined to win it and I think Man City is overhyped, I don't recall them ever going to the Finals. PSG is also not going to last very long if Neymar doesn't get his act straight with fans.

Honestly Atalanta could be a decent team but I see absolutely zero chance for them to win this game, Madrid will definitely get it. For me the games are already decided, I have already wagered on them as well. Juventus will win against Porto, Dortmund will beat Sevilla, PSG will beat Barcelona, Liverpool will beat Leipzig, Real will beat Atalanta, City will destroy Gladbach, Bayern will beat Lazio and lastly Chesela will win against ATM.

In all of these games I am not sure about just one of them which is Chelsea versus Athletico Madrid because ATM is leading La Liga and Chelsea is not doing that well at all so at the end of the day we are not going to know what will happen, Chesela won the first game so I decided to put that in as Chelsea win. The thing is, these are basically what everyone thinks as well, there is really no shocking bet here all of them are common sense bets.

We can watch another delightful Dortmund-Sevilla game in Signal Iduna Park this time I think. I actually didn't expect to watch 5 goals in the first leg and didn't even expect Dortmund to win. For the second leg, my expectations are higher than the first one now. And I believe Dortmund will advance to the quarter finals.

I'm waiting to see the return of:
Atalanta - Real Madrid (March 16th, so it won't be too long)

I would very much like to place a bet in this match, but perhaps it would bring bad luck

nothing, I changed my mind, I will only watch it hoping to have a fun game (and where Atalanta wins)

It's quite worth the wait for the second leg match between Real Madrid and Atalanta, because in the second leg it will be a life and death match
for the two teams. Because in the first leg Real Madrid won the match with a score of 0-1, with this victory Real Madrid were of course much
more profitable. Real Madrid to qualify requires a draw in the second leg, therefore I am sure Atalanta will take the initiative to attack first
in the second leg match against Real Madrid. In order to score goals as soon as possible, in order to open up opportunities to qualify for
the next round. I will bet on Real Madrid's win, because I believe Real Madrid are much more experienced in the Champions League.

Atalanta are a very effective team when it comes to attacking and scoring. They got very unlucky in the first match because of a red card so they played a defensive game not to get a too bad result. But still, Real Madrid barely scored one goal. Probably, Benzema will not play in the second leg and they can have the same scoring issues. Atalanta have nothing to lose and I expect them to play a fully-attacking game unless they have an advantageous score. Imo, Atalanta will score the first goal and Real will score after it. I don't know what kind of a result is waiting for us but I will probably bet on both teams to score.

Real Madrid won the first leg by just a single goal and since Atalanta is a decent side, they might just have a little hope going into the second leg, but Real Madrid are so experienced in the CL, they have been in this position countless times, they know how to win this sort of matches, and imo, their experience will be too much for Atalanta, I can only see Real making it into the QF at the blast of the final whistle.

I'm still not so sure about Real as it isn't known when the most scorer Benzema will come back from his injury. In addition to that, we shouldn't overlook that Atalanta played with 10 players nearly a full game in the first leg. Because of these reasons, I'm not thinking of betting on Real win but it seems like both teams can score.

As Liverpool are not going good in the EPL, I think they will focus more on the CL. So I think they will finish Leipzig in Anfield.
I second that, and there is also a possibility that they would not make it into the CL via one of the top four spots in the EPL, so looking at how things stands, winning the CL is the only way to salvage their season, and that's where all the focus should shift to.

Leipzig's performance against Liverpool was quite poor in the first game. I wonder whether they will improve that performance in the second leg. Considering Liverpool's unstable performance, there is still a chance for Leipzig to make a comeback but it still seems quite hard. Another big test is Chelsea vs Atletico; can Chelsea survive the Defensive team for the second game in a row ? can chelsea avoid defeat ?

Why such pessimism against Chelsea?
They won the first leg out of home and are still having a better campaign than Atletico...
Chelsea has 4 wins in the last 5 games and a draw. Atlético, has only won two of the last 5 matches.

Of course, the last game was very disputed and with few chances of goal, but in the second leg, Atlético will have to come up if they want to qualify... they won't be able to play a defensive game again.

Home advantage is really a thing and this is why porto would regret not getting the 3rd goal; Juventus will easily score 2 goals in Italy; but can Porto respond? I think Juventus will qualify easily.
I don't think Juventus can qualify very easily. FC Porto won the first match. Their main goal in the second match was to draw the match. And Porto is not an easy opponent. And I will not say that they are lucky so they beat Juventus. They played well enough in the match and won.

Are you kind to your neighbor? Think it through
The first leg of Porto-Juventus draw ended with the 2-1 victory of Porto in Estádio do Dragão and the result surprised many people for sure. But I think Juventus still are the favorite team in this draw. Maybe Porto got a nice win but I don't think they have much chance in the rematch. My score guesses are 2-0 and 3-1.

Ronaldo may not be able to perform a hat-trick.  Nevertheless, it exhibits a superior performance.  Ronaldo's best success is that he plays very well in dangerous matches.  This game is very risky for Juve and I think Ronaldo will play a super game again.  I think they will eliminate Porto.
Maybe Juventus was a bit unlucky with that game but the reality is that we are not going to see this team lose too much once again, we are going to see them not even get a tie, we will see Juventus playing at their home field, with some players missing of course but be awesome anyway.

I personally think 2-0 at least, it could even be as much as 3-0 as well, Ronaldo is ready and he is playing as long as nothing new comes out and even if he doesn't perform a hattrick he could still score and he could both pass to others for a score or he could just attract defense to himself to allow others to make a good shot, having defense on you at all times is a great deal as well.

I believe Porto is a good team but they are nowhere near Juventus level and this is during a period when Juventus is missing players, if they were full roster they would destroy Porto easily.

Juventus is more likely to win in the rematch.  I think they will pass the tour.  A good match Ronaldo can make a show in his own country.

Everyone was quite surprised when Porto managed to beat Juventus in first leg, but that's what makes football interesting, all teams have a chance
to win. But as everyone thinks, I also believe Juventus can beat Porto in the second leg and qualify for the next round. Because the quality of
Juventus players is better than Porto, especially Ronaldo is on fire right now. So there is no reason for Juventus to lose to Porto. I predict Ronaldo will
score a hat trick, and Juventus will win the match by a score of 3-0.
