good day to bet IMO...
Liverpool vs Leipzig = I bet on Liverpool.
PSG vs Barca = I bet on PSG, not sure Barca can win in this second match after the painful results in the first leg.

Paris Saint Germain v Barcelona is taking place in the 2nd leg of the last 16, and it is very difficult for Barcelona to win this match because in the first leg Barcelona lost 1-4 to PSG.
and Lionel Messi et al must be able to qualify with a win and a minimum margin of 4-0, and PSG is not an easy opponent and in my opinion winning 4-0 seems difficult for Barcelona, enjoy watching this interesting match and I bet with a score of 2-1 on Barcelona.

When you can't score goals for 60 minutes in 11vs 10 you deserve to be out.

It wasnt entirely their fault though. Porto made solid defending throughout the entire match so yeah Porto deserved to win. Well atleast today Porto's supporter would be grateful with The VAR. VAR saved Porto's ass today because the line referee didnt raise his flag and without the VAR system, Morata's goal would be considered as a valid goal

Fun fact : Chiesa scored 3 out of 4 total goals by Juventus in both matches. Solid performances from Chiesa

😂😂😂😂😂

I think Leipzig has a good chance to win the match against Liverpool today. Leipzig has a good run while Liverpool has strong problems. However, it is hard to say whether it will be enough for Leipzig to advance to the next round.

~snip~

Imo, don't be so sure about it. Because before the first leg, Liverpool were in such a bad condition in the EPL too but they still defeated Leipzig 2-0 although Leipzig had a good run. There is a similar scenario now also and everything can happen in this match. I expect goals from both teams this time but I think Liverpool will qualify for the quarter final in the end.
Whatever the prediction, I'm just sure Liverpool will continue to advance to the next round, because even if Liverpool lose only 1 goal gap then it will still make Liverpool go through. So yes, even though Liverpool are not good in the EPL but they can still fight at UCL as much as possible, in this prestigious competition anything can still happen even though the team has a decline in form in the local league but at UCL they can make a different view.

small info by the way...
Erling Haaland is now, by his two goals yesterday against fc valencia, the youngest player (20 years, 7 months, 16 days) in the ucl-history who has scored 20 goals.
he has now displaced Kylian Mbappe (21 years, 11 months, 19 days) in the 2nd place Shocked
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/haaland-mbappe-amp-co-the-youngest-players-to-reach-20-ucl-goals/index/galerie/3365?page=40

is he that young?
I don't even know that he is that young. he's so good, so people like me expect more and more until finally realized that he is still very young.
the same thing happens when you are a United fan but you give many excuses to Lingard because he is not performing well. he is already 28, but he still looks like a young player who graduated 2-3 years ago from the academy. for your benchmark, Bruno is 26  Grin

I am waiting for PSG vs Barcelona, 4 am in the morning from my timezone  Shocked

Not only has he surpassed him, but also Messi and Ronaldo, Dortmund really have great talent, do not be surprised if Real Madrid and Barcelona start calling him, the Norwegian player is in good shape and has the ideal age, the player's youth is ideal for any team of these magnitudes.

Well if my speculations are true, I imagine that Real Madrid or Barcelona must already be doing negotiations or having conversations with Dortmund. These clubs always want the best.
Did you say Barcelona or Real Madrid I honestly think thats a bad place for a young lad with so much to offer....I would rather he goes to play in the Epl and not the Spanish league but like everybody wishes to sign him these remain transfer rumours  not until deal is put on paper and signed for....

Tonight I hope the two home playing teams can win their respective games and also conquer the next Champions League stage.
PSG @ 2.68 and Liverpool @ 2.63 are too inviting to leave them there and with a $5 bet, we can win seven times more than our stake.

I don't think PSG could lose grip of their precious away goals, what might happen is containing Barca not to score or at the least play out for shared points.... PSG to win or draw looks good Smiley

And for Liverpool I fear for them, because that losing streak their on might actually catch up with them today and I don't see them winning because currently RB is a better team and has better form  !

Only two words about Juve and CR7: yesterday stated the failure of the Champions League-CR7 Juventus project. The overpaid portuguese champion, will not make into Juventus history for sure.
The old lady almost went through yesterday and CR7 was in the mix to make this happen getting himself an assist but it was not happen thanks to that Porto penalty which denied Juve from progressing.

Yesterday I liked the game of Borussia Dortmunt. We played competently against Sevilla. Sevilla has a good team, but they still lack experience. If we manage to keep the main players, then next season I think that Sevilla can advance further in the Champions League.

Well...
Liverpool won the first game, but now we need to consider that Firmino, Van Dijk and Matip are injured, and that makes a big "defeat" if we add to the terrible phase that Liverpool has been going through.
RB Leipzig is also in great morale, as they are having an excellent championship in the German league with several consecutive victories... I don't remember the numbers now.
I will not bet against the odds, RB Leipzig for sure.

Barcelona is already eliminated in my opinion. There will be no miracle against PSG like in 2017 (PSG won 0:4 in the first leg and Barca 6:1 in the second leg). PSG has a more solid team than in 2017 and Barca is in a major club crisis.

With Liverpool performance at the moment, I think Leipzig can change the opportunity. Indeed, 2 goals behind and having to play at Liverpool base will make Leipzig even more difficult. However, their form in the Bundesliga has been impressive in recent matches. As #2 in their local league, for me there is a high chance for Leipzig to win this match. despite having to win via Penalty.
Will Liverpool's ugliness make it to tonight's UEFA match? even though this is an opportunity for Leipzig but I don't think I will give up that for me because this is one of the trophies he is still chasing even though this is far from a possibility.
I know Leipzig have had a good run in the Bundesliga but I don't know what happened in tonight's game even though there are often mistakes at home for Liverpool who have often taken defeats in their domestic league.
I do not think that Liverpool will bring that bad streak into champions league, in fact they will probably beat Leipzig easily, just like how they were doing horrible in premier league but won the last game, it will be basically something similar. They are not that great this year but they are still liverpool, nobody should see them as easy pickings. If I had to wager on that game I would definitely pick liverpool over leipzig once again.

The real trick will be PSG versus Barcelona game, Barcelona has been on a good roll in La Liga and came thus far but the difference between the two teams seems huge, last game PSG destroyed Barcelona and it looks like they may do that again, but the fact that PSG is so far ahead already may mean that they might not care about the game too much and if they do not care, they may lose with small difference, like 2-1, in that case they still go up but wagering on Barcelona could be profitable. I am not sure about that one though.

Did not watch the match but I was really surprised to see Juve getting out, especially after they scored for 2:1 and Porto was man down. No matter my bet Juve to win passed so I was happy.
I said once Juve was lucky to face Porto, then after the first game, I was like surprise surprise then I said OK Juve will come back. Just followed the game for a few minutes, Porto scored first and I quit. It was good to see them trying hard to pass this round but unfortunately they failed. Dortmund did well too and passed thanks to Haaland.
Today Leipzig should try its best to pass against dysfunctional Liverpool and PSG - Barca shouldn't end under 4 goals tho.

I thought the same when I read the news about the draw some time back.
Juventus with more experiences in CL and with more star players than Porto should be able to pass without any important difficulties.
Sure, we both were wrong as we underestimated Porto.
Ronaldo with his big name could not even help the team much yesterday, did he create a chance to score goal yesterday?  Grin

Juventus already failed, Serie-A still have Atalanta, I wish they can beat RM and become Italian clubs that qualified to the next rounds.

I also think that the chances of leipzig are not that slim to advance into the next round. In the first game liverpool wasn't that much better, leipzig just made to many mistakes and was giving goals away.
The second game is also played in budapest so liverpool does not have the advantage of a home game, which is not really existent at the moment anyway because of covid.
If leipzig goes in front it's a 50/50 game from that moment on.

That repeated penalty for Dortmund yesterday where the ball was in play for over a minute after the initial save was one of the worst things I have ever seen. VAR really has some strong points but when dinosaurs are using modern technology, it sometimes feels worse with it than without it.
If I was a Sevilla player, I'd have been totally pissed. Especially because it was a really soft penalty to begin with.

I hope Liverpool has a good game today, we really need to go through today. The first one was 50-50, Leipzig deserved more. Our form doesn't give me a lot of confidence, but we never got kicked out after winning the first leg 2-0. We also haven't lost 6 at home before though.

How would it be if Porto repeat their success from the season like 15 years ago when they managed to get the CL title?
That would be really a big profit. Not sure about the odds now for Porto to win the title, but should be around 50.00

It was a major win for Porto in all aspects but IMHO this is their limit. They manage to cut off Juve and had luck with them but the next round will be tougher...
More tougher challenge is ahead of them whichever team is playing against them might be the likely winner, I don't see Porto as a threat to any of the remaining teams in CL despite managing to win against Juventus.
Porto winning the CL is very unlikely considering the calibres, quality and the impressive form of the remaining contenders or teams even with an odd of 100.00 their chances of winning is very slim.

The next games;

Well, every counterattack with Mbappè will be a goal or at least one action to score.
I think this evening we can see 4 more goals.

Federico Chiesa is the future of Juventus and Azzuri. I wish that he won't be another Paolo Dybala and wish all best for him to be strong in his fitness. This defeat might put the end in the contract between Juventus and CR7 and maybe Andrea Pirlo.

He was probably the most passionate player to win the match. Ronaldo was basically shutted down throughout the match, he cant score at all but he managed to make atleast an assist though

Should be two good games today with lots of goals. I placed a small bet on Leipzig to win 2:0, have a feeling we could see more extra time today. In the other game I am hoping Barca starts with all guns blazing and makes it interesting. My bet is over 2.5 goals instead of my usual both to score pick since this could end up with total breakdown of one club.
