Fun fact : Chiesa scored 3 out of 4 total goals by Juventus in both matches. Solid performances from Chiesa
Federico Chiesa is the future of Juventus and Azzuri. I wish that he won't be another Paolo Dybala and wish all best for him to be strong in his fitness. This defeat might put the end in the contract between Juventus and CR7 and maybe Andrea Pirlo.

He was probably the most passionate player to win the match. Ronaldo was basically shutted down throughout the match, he cant score at all but he managed to make atleast an assist though

CR7 might feel disappointed and leave the club but the fact is he did not have good performances in 2 legs against Porto.

He probably wouldnt leave the club. He is 36 right now and there isnt that many champions league club out there that could really sign and offer huge wage for a 36 years old player. He is still a beast but there isnt that many club that would consider him anymore ( Manchester United probably would idk )

there's no comparison, back then they had the big saviour, O Rey Neymar, and also Iniesta and Suarez, plus the entire stadium backing them up

Yeah back in the day, Barcelona was a beast but right now there is no way they are going to win against PSG

I am sorry to see Juventus out but at least I won my bet and am happy about it.I saw the game and Juventus was unlucky yesterday night because they hit the post two times created tons of opportunities in the second half but when luck is against you no one can save you.

Porto is getting back in European top teams, I did not expect that they will kick-out Juventus, but it happened in the end
what is more interesting is Sevilla play in Dortmund, they played great match, and could easily pass-through, but lacked scoring, which is most important in the end, Dortmund has two matches in a row where 2:0 is not enough for a win in the end

That was totally amazing indeed. 10 men. Last minutes of injury time. Juventus even had a chance to pull one more back but they could not defeat the away goal rule. Truly that goal was worth 2, every Porto player will remember this.

I thought Dortmund the same yesterday. 2-0 lead is not enough with their crap defence!

Leipzig shock tonight perhaps?Wink

Wow, Borussia - Sevilla was very dramatic and emotional game. Sevilla almost made comeback, they had opportunity to score 3rd goal on last attack, but nobody didn't managed to make shot.

It was really hell of a match that Sevilla did whatever they can to make a comeback from the 2-0 score. I was expecting Dortmund to advance to the quarter final with a win here. But after Sevilla brought the score to 2-2 in the last minute, the match became very exciting as there was still a possibilty for Sevilla to stay in the match. It ended 2-2 but I think both teams deserved to eliminate the other. I really enjoyed both games of this draw.

PSG, please, please...you got this 🙏

they got lose 0-4 from the same club PSG, but they reverse the score 6-1 in leg 2.

Time to make some changes in Juventus, since 2015 they have no midfield and this is the result.

Juventus midfielder since 2015 I had to omit about 8 players but according to Juventus rent boys " we don't have midfielders " because you lost to farmers from Portugal... Well get used to  Grin
cut him some slack, it was a historic and embarrasing performance from juve, gotta find some excuses somewhere to try to lessen the blow, you know? Cheesy

This is some bias argument lol;
no it's not, it is a valid argument...a Juve fan just said that the team's been playing without midfielders since 2015 implying that all those players they've signed until today have been shite, but @igehhh goes on and posts a list of the midfielders, and as you can see, what the other user said it's not true, Juve have signed tons of great midfielders over the past few years

With Liverpool performance at the moment, I think Leipzig can change the opportunity. Indeed, 2 goals behind and having to play at Liverpool base will make Leipzig even more difficult. However, their form in the Bundesliga has been impressive in recent matches. As #2 in their local league, for me there is a high chance for Leipzig to win this match. despite having to win via Penalty.
Will Liverpool's ugliness make it to tonight's UEFA match? even though this is an opportunity for Leipzig but I don't think I will give up that for me because this is one of the trophies he is still chasing even though this is far from a possibility.
I know Leipzig have had a good run in the Bundesliga but I don't know what happened in tonight's game even though there are often mistakes at home for Liverpool who have often taken defeats in their domestic league.

Juventus already failed, Serie-A still have Atalanta, I wish they can beat RM and become Italian clubs that qualified to the next rounds.

There is no way Real Madrid will definitely maintain a safe position tonight.

We should see Liverpool & PSG advance to the 1/4 finals after their great 1st leg results. It will take a miracle for Barcelona to overturn a 1-4 result, they need to win by 4 goals to qualify. Leipzig are more likely to come back but this is also unlikely I think.
We (Liverpool) has two goals lead and advantage of away win at the first leg but the way Liverpool is performing lately I think Leipzig has a good chance. They need to win by at least two goals difference for the penalty shootout. And if somehow they are able to win by a 3 goals margin then game end for Liverpool.

I think both team to score and over 2.5 goals are safe bets if anyone is planning to gamble in this match.

Really been busy lately but hoping to watch the match in this evening.

Juventus, led by Pirlo, doesn't look like itself, bad defensive play and I don't see the team's previous character. Porto are great, but I wanted to see Juventus win and advance to the next round. But this is football and the strongest wins. I don't think that Proto is able to go beyond the 1/8 finals,  the opponents will be stronger. They are just lucky that Juventus is not so stable this season.

It was also a big shock for me that they couldn't eliminate Porto. They are a far better team than Porto actually but something went really wrong for Juventus last night. They couldn't manage to make it even though Porto played with 10 players for more than an hour. Porto scored a very valuable goal in the extra time which helped them to advance easier.

How would it be if Porto repeat their success from the season like 15 years ago when they managed to get the CL title?
That would be really a big profit. Not sure about the odds now for Porto to win the title, but should be around 50.00

I'm actually just going to sit back tonight and enjoy watching the games. A decent bet on Liverpool ML, and then $5 each on these ridiculous outcomes (hey, why not, right?). Any of you also got crazy ideas or bets? I mean, it won't be the first time we see a massive upset at Last 16 stage right?Wink

Just noticed screenshot wasn't full, these bets are basically on Barcelona to win at least 3-0 (couldn't find outrights to qualify actually), Lazio to qualify and Gladbach to qualify.

When you can't score goals for 60 minutes in 11vs 10 you deserve to be out.

Time to make some changes in Juventus, since 2015 they have no midfield and this is the result.

I think the same way that Porto deserved so much to qualify for the quarter final. It was like nothing changed when Porto got a red card and Juventus still couldn't manage to eliminate them. Porto even scored a goal in such situation in the extra time. Juventus were like they waited for that moment to go into action and answered right after it. But they missed a huge chance in the last minutes of the extra time and got eliminated.

Yesterday's game was decided by the slippery hands of Juventus goalkeeper. He basically ruined all the good things his team did during the game. If you ask me, Juventus did not deserve to be out of Champions League for this specific game but for the overall performance they are having this year.

@Karatma1 I believe one of the biggest mistake by Juventus was to make Pirlo their head coach, because he had limited experience of coaching and suddenly he was given the mammoth task of managing a huge club like Juventus. Lastly that’s what champions league is all about, you need to perform at the highest level if you wish to progress ahead, but Juventus failed and as a result they were knocked out.

Kwadwo Asamoah
Juan Cuadrado
Hernanes
Sami Khedira
Mario Lemina
Claudio Marchisio
Simone Padoin
Stefano Pellini
Roberto Pereyra
Paul Pogba
Stefano Sturaro
Miralem Pjanić
Paulo Dybala
Claudio Marchisio
Emre Can
Adrien Rabiot
Aaron Ramsey
Arthur

Many more.....

This is some bias argument lol; Did Pogba play with Ronaldo?  Asamoah ? or Vidal ? Lets leave that Aside; Cuadrado is a winger or wingback, same as Dybala being a forward (never stays fit). Now mention boldly any of the other midfield players would who will get into Quality playeyrs average?

Juventus their self are the joke; you don't sign the best player in the world and give him a pub team and a Primary school coach then expect to win the champions league lol.

If you watch the juventus team and believe they have a system; then its a bias lol. It was a beautiful champions league night, marred by terrible officiating with the ref denying Juventus 2 great shouts at goal from the penalty spot; 1 in portugal and another yesterday.

I expect Juventus to bring back Allegri; if they don't want to turn to a mid table team by next summer. Porto and Dortmund are in the next stage.

Tonight; i am expecting Liverpool and PSG to complete their routine victory and move to the next round

There was one strange moment, I haven't saw anything similar. Haaland scored beautiful clean goal, but it was cancelled because there was foulf few moments earlier. Then Haaland penalty shot was saved by goalkeeper, but referee told to repeat penalty because goalkeeper stepped from goal line to early. And only then Haaland managed to score.
Now all eyes on Juve - Porto extra time.
The giants of Italy has fallen to the feet of the Farmers from Portugal right before our eyes, it has happened, it's happening, the giant of Italy has been demolished.
Calling Porto farmers, you must be kidding. Porto is solid team which isn't easy to beat While people tend hype Juve too much. They aren't so good and it reflects on Serie A table.

Wow that was a match to watch and you have to really feel for Sevilla for missing out after scoring 4 goals overall. Still, you'd feel even worse for Dortmund to fire away like that and still not make it through. Such a good series of games for the neutrals.

And Juventus being able to score 3 goals? Even more spectacular. Congrats to Porto, proving they're not just there every season to be the laughing stock of UCL!

Barcelona must get the big win to continue the next round. Nothing for impossible, going back at 2016-2017, they got lose 0-4 from the same club PSG, but they reverse the score 6-1 in leg 2.
A lot has changed since then... I'm expecting another goal-fest but can't really see Barca coming out as winners [even in this game].

IMO, in this situation, PSG must adoption Jose Mourinho Parking bus strategy; 6-3-1  Grin Grin
Good one but highly unlikely Cheesy

Am I the only one who thinks Liverpool might go out as well [regardless of the previous leg result]?
- I do know they probably need to go all the way to win it so they could secure a spot for next year but at the moment, they lack in a lot of departments.
