Barcelona vs Bayern is the stand-out 1/4 final match, I make whoever wins this the favourite to win the tournament. Man City are good sure but they have no pedigree in this competition & that usually counts for something.

Can Manchester City go all the way?
With the kind of quality and squad depth that they have, I'm expecting nothing less.- It'll be them or Bayern.
Yupp there's no doubt for now the favorites are between these two , the team strength in them and the recent form we have witnessed.. it's Manchester City year or Bayern.
But yeah it seems bayern had tougher road to the final as they have to face Barcelona in the next game. The odds changing..
Manchester city are eyeing the champions league trophy more serious yeah if only there's no surprise happened.

For Barca it wasn't such easy game as it looks on final result. Napoli started very intensive and had their chance in start of game. And in general, they played well tonight. But Messi was awesome today.
I didn't had big expectations about Chelsea, but their defense was joke today. And Lewandowski is simply amazing - 2 goals and 2 assists. I just remind that he had goal and 2 assists in first leg. So, he took crucial part in all 7 goals scored by Bayern in this pair. It's not fair that there won't be Golden Ball award this year because he fully deserved it.

I sort of expected some surprises today, at least a draw in one of the games but both favorites were good and secured their victories in early stages. I had a nice double with both to score on these two games and it also passed in the first half.
Can't really complain but I expected more drama from games of such importance. I am sort of disappointed with how easily nominal favorites managed to secure their positions. Only exception is Juve game where Lyon managed to pull a surprise but again there was no real drama. Juve needed one more goal and they did put some pressure on Lyon but it was nowhere near an all attack formation in the last minutes. Is it too much to expect more flair from these sides? It is almost like they don't want it enough.

They are on the brink of giving up, now they need to score 5 more goals to qualify which should be unlikely to happen. Bayern Munich is really good though even Chelsea only have 40% possession despite that Chelsea was quite good in Premier League but damn Bayern Munich just show Chelsea that they are on a whole another level
yeah, Bayern is not playing full speed, but good enough for another win, they are top favorites for the title, IMO, at the moment

I think the most unexpected thing is the failure of Juventus to truly make a difference and win with more than one goal difference against Lyon.All other results were somewhat expected.The only game where could I have expected not a home win was Manchester City against Real Madrid but this was not the case.
Chelsea lives matter, lol, but obviously Bayern Munich didn't care, they look like the major threat to City winning the UCL this season, I'd love to see a Bayern Munich vs City final. Barcelona are also there too, they may not be in the best form, but they are used to winning champions league titles. The UCL this season is so unpredictable and interesting despite the break, empty stadiums and now, one legged ties moving forward, football is indeed the beautiful game.

Lenglet just scored a goal from header. Barcelona got the advantage. But from watching Napoli's game and playing style Barca can concede a goal anytime. They are pressing hardly to Barca's D-box.
Goal fiesta today in the UCL games and I think we gonna see in the 2nd half at least 4 more goals as Chelsea refuses to give up and Napoli just got a new reason to fight with this penalty in the last minute in 1st half.
Messi is on fire tonight no doubt about it and the way he stole the ball from Koulibaly and obtain a penalty is just pure class and I'm happy he did not got injured.

Messi goal was truly impressive. That messi, always trying and not easy to fall. It's just confused, Napoli defense is so vulnerable, Messi vs some people can still be bypassed. Really messi child prodigy.
Ohh my man!!! What a goal from L. Messi!!! Was covered by 4 Napoli defenders but still manage to shoot the ball to the net. Great goal from the great player.

I wish varane a quick mental recovery, he was astonishingly off yesterday,
Varane is certainly a good one but the way city had attacked, much experienced player would be nervoused too IMO. There were a lot of mistakes along with no much pressure on City defense. Nevertheless, it was the day of City and they made it easily.

On tonights game. Bayern will be waiting to know who they face in the quarter finals, it would still be a win but not an embarrassing lose for Chelsea maybe 1 or 2 goals win, like I have been saying it's a win for FC Barcelona of Spain tonight against Napoli.
I think these odds for Bayern are extremely poor considering a) Bayern doesn't need to win and b) they are out of competition for over a month now. You could see in EL with Leverkusen/Frankfurt/Wolfsburg that these teams were not super sharp and even ran a bit out of gas in the end. Now Chelsea isn't super strong, but Bayern could live with a draw here in which is most likely a better friendly match at hot temperatures even in the evening. 1.80-ish for Bayern would be more reasonable imo.
Good point. Bayern have safe result from first leg, they haven't played for a month, so today they just need not to make any problems for themselves. Chelsea is interesting young team under Lampard management, but I think it's safe to say that they are out of competition already. So, considering these facts, odds is really bad for them. Probably I will only make bets on this game when I will see Bayern squad.In Barca - Napoli game I'm going with Barca win obviously and maybe over 2.5 @1.62.
