My picks for tonight:

Juventus vs Lyon - Draw
Manchester City vs Real Madrid - Man City

Finally, Champions League is back! It's bad that both games are starting at exactly same time. I am going to watch MC vs RM, what about you guys?

my picks for tonight are:

Juventus vs Lyon - Juventus
Manchester City vs Real Madrid - Manchester City

I basically rely on the table of possible winners (made by the bookmakers) plus some of my personal reflections about soccer (experience)

of course i can think wrong

Not sure I can watch it unfortunately, will just follow it live but City vs Real should be a good one to watch tho!
I think City and Lyon will pass to the next round

Juventus have to work hard in this match versus Lyon because they were 1 goal behind in the first leg. If Juventus want to qualify for the next round then they have to win the match 2-0 which mean they have to attack and defend well.
Ronaldo is a man who is very enthusiastic, he will work hard to maximize the end result. But without the support and contribution of all the other player, the result might not be good for Juventus. Lyon might surprise them again and it is still possible in football.

Man City vs Real - City should advance but there is a sneaky suspicion Real will pull-off a surprise.

I've got a bet on on Real (odds:4.00), using p2p sports betting bot based on smart-contract inside  Obyte wallet. This is my first use of this bot and should confess  all procedure was straight forward,  Hope both Real and bot  will bring me the luck.

everyone has been talking shit about juventus for the past few weeks (they were playing really bad in serie A), but let's be honest, we have to back them tonight in our bet slips, you can't help it, it's Juventus, Cristiano, Dybala, Bonucci, etc...they have to show up tonight and get the job done. So here's my ticket:

no way they're gonna get KO'd in the RO16 against a bunch of nobodies, right? there's NO way  Lips sealed
With De Ligt and Bonucci, Juventus have good defenders at the centre and those guys can also score goals from corner kicks. Their forwards and strikers (Dybala and Ronaldo and some others) have some days to rest because they did not join the last match in Serie A. Will the sacrifice in Capocannoniere get good results for Juventus in the match with Lyon?

CR7 does not have much time left to play at highest level so he will try best to beat Lyon and win the first Champions League with Juventus.

Juventus playing at home is a big plus for them I am fully in support of them overturning the outcome or result of the first leg although soccer analysts are skeptical about their dismal performances lately in serial A having some losing streaks lately I believed the team having won the league took a steam off and performed at below par however UCL is a different ball game the players knew that, they will throw in everything to ensure wining the second leg

Juventus vs Lyon - I think Juve will overturn the deficit of the first leg, they know how to win at this stage of the competition. CR7 is ready.

Man City vs Real - City should advance but there is a sneaky suspicion Real will pull-off a surprise.

Two interesting matches in Champions League today:
Juventus vs. Lyon (first leg result 0-1)
Manchester City vs. Real Madrid (first leg result 2-1)

Juventus is well rested for this game, and they played with reserves in SeriaA.
They are amazing at home and they must win here or coach Sarri may be sacked.
C.Ronaldo is ready and Paulo Dybala may return after thigh injury.
Odds are not great, but I will go with Juve Home win here, and  more risky C.Ronaldo to score.

Manchester City has 2:1 score from previous match, but I don't understand this odds.
Real Madrid should not be underestimated and they had more time to rest and prepare for this match.
My prediction: Double Chance draw or Real Madrid
Safer bet would be AsianHandicap.

I think these are two great matches, definitely worth watching.
I just hope that the teams do not close in defense, because from the viewer's point of view it becomes boring..
anyway, i see power, quality, creative in football in these match

Manchester City is actually the favorite to be the champion Shocked

I don't think they will pass vs Real  Huh

this table is going to be changed after this round, Juventus and Manchester City are questionable to pass into next round

match between Manchester and Real will skip for betting, maybe just goals to enjoy watching, but will put something on Juventus - Lyon under2.5, Lyon will play defensively, while one goal could put them into next round

I'm very sure a lot of fans will place their bets for Madrid to qualify, and looking at the odds for Madrid to go through the the QF, you can consider it to be a good stake, I've been discussing with friends in the past few weeks and everyone of them seems to think Madird has what it takes to overturn the advantage city has over them and go through to the QF; but I'm still standing by by words, which I've been expressing on this thread for months now, I'm going with City on this game, Real will have to be exceptional to eliminate City, they must also try as much as possible to ensure peps men don't score, I can't see Madrid doing all that; I'm rooting for city to go all the way to the final this year.

Happy with those of you who still support Man City in order to qualify for QF. But unlike me, I've placed a bet on Real Madrid. As we know, anyone can qualify for the next round. But it is Real Madrid who deserve to qualify, hopefully the game will be interesting.

Dybala still recovering from his injury he maybe play if they will need him in case of necessity.

On paper it looks like a very strong team, however Ronaldo is not enough to carry it forward all team.
Barcelona for example, in my opinion is much stronger than Juventus.
Has possession of the ball and are very good at dribbling, certainly they have more chances in general.

I think Barcellona have much chance, i dont undestarnd bookmakers.

in the $coinlockets's table lyon is really very low in the rankings to become champion
something will mean
I have not even considered an Italian team (Naples)
although it is good it is inadequate for competitions of this type

I would say that betting on Madrid could be awesome because we are talking about Madrid here, it is not like a small team. However last time this happened, it was City vs Liverpool game after the break and for some reason pundits gave Liverpool 3.4 or 3.7 I am not sure and I was shocked, I mean this is the team that became champions, I am not saying give Liverpool 1.1 obviously, but I would make it around 2.4-2.6 for both teams in that game, we all know how badly City destroyed Liverpool on that game and how pundits were quite right.

So, yes at one point I am saying that it is looking like Real Madrid should deserve more than 4.4 type of numbers, it should be under 3 here as well, but on the other hand I do not want to go against the pundits since they probably know more than me.

Juventus is on 30%, Lyon on 70%, but would skip to play both, just goals in Turin, under2.5

I already posted that people are completely ignoring Lyon, but this is also taking it a bit too far if you ask me. Lyon has a decent squad and a really good result but Juventus is one of the top remaining teams in the draw.
I'd say it's more a 60-40 for Juventus, which is great for Lyon. Juventus is definitely capable of defending an 1-0 lead and has more quality, depth and experience to kill the game once they get the first goal - be it in regular time or in OT.
Very risky game imo, Juventus isn't in its best shape and Lyon can score in the match and keeps a draw until the end. Hmm I think it is the end of the trip for Juve this season...
The other game between City and Real Madrid isn't easy too, man City is an explosive team, able to score many goals in a game like it can lose easily. Read Madrid is good with Zidane but generally scores few goals. I think both teams to score and City to pass to the next round.
