What's happening in Turin? Ref distributing freebies! It's no longer the defender's game. Both penalties were disgusting. I have bets on 1-1 and 2-2 as final score. Let see if I can win some big today.

While in Manchester, Real Madrid somehow brought the equalizer. They are looking very less threatening in attack. Just one spell of good chances and Benzama converted one of them. Rodrygo really did well in assisting that one. But Man City is completely in control. They are better side for me in first 45 minutes. Let see if Real can turn back this one. Man City needs one more to seal my profit.

at the moment, both matches are on 2:1 for home team, which secures City in the next round, but Juventus need one more from Ronaldo to secure their spot, ten minutes left

Real's defense seems very insecure to me.

Seems so without Sergio Ramos. Lots of errors in defense area and City is really able to find some spaces through them. Varane really handed that badly that lead to first goal for City. Also it was good pressure from City players as well, cornering everyone out and Jesus did good to win the ball from Varane and play it to Sterling for score.

For Real , Benzema is the only one that seems to be doing well in attacking area. He is finding positions to score and doing good so far. Loving the way Benzema is playing this season.

Halftime in both stadiums and result is same - 1:1
I really don't understand first penalty in Juve - Lyon game, IMO referee made mistake. I'm not sure how they can give such penalties even with VAR. Second penalty is also questionable I think.
Juve still need 2 goals. If they will continue to play like last 10-15 minutes, it's difficult, but possible.
And City - Real is very good game to watch so far.

Juve currently losing and they are in a very difficult situation.
The French team did not play for a very long time and I thought it would be a handicap for them, but they are doing well.
Manchester and Real, everything is completely open and uncertain.
Real's defense seems very insecure to me.

This started bad for Juventus.
Lyon scored first goal and now they have big advantage, but hat is more serious is that Juventus is not playing good as they have zero shots at goal so far  Shocked

Manchester City is 1:1 with Real and I would be happy if it ends like this Smiley but I think there will be more goals

EDIT:
Nice, one bet won: C. Ronaldo scored  Grin
Let's go!

I'm too young to fall in love with Sarri and his stupid formations. How does he want to win a tensed match as this with Dybala sitting on the bench?

Depay just scored from the penalty kick, Lyon is 1-0 up in Turin. Juventus now needs 3 goals to go through and Lyon is becoming a big favorite to qualify to the quarterfinals.

City also took the lead against Real and increased their already good position. A dream start for people who played both to score - I know some of you mentioned it.

Ohh Yes!! Champions League night after so many moths. I am too much excited for tonight. Hope my favorite team Real Madrid can pass Man City. Though it's too hard but nothing is impossible. Still has a chance for the next round. Just need 2 goals from RM.

My prediction tonight:
Juventus vs Lyon - Juventus
Manchester City vs Real Madrid - Real Madrid

Note: my prediction can be wrong and also biased for the RM match  Tongue Tongue

Juventus have to work hard in this match versus Lyon because they were 1 goal behind in the first leg. If Juventus want to qualify for the next round then they have to win the match 2-0 which mean they have to attack and defend well.
Ronaldo is a man who is very enthusiastic, he will work hard to maximize the end result. But without the support and contribution of all the other player, the result might not be good for Juventus. Lyon might surprise them again and it is still possible in football.

Ronaldo has no motivation right now. He became the champion of italy, he will not win the Champions League, the golden ball is not given this year. Better than Dybala instead of him in the starting lineup.

I guess everyone is underrating Madrid. C'mon mates. Madrid isn't such bad team. Well, they may not qualify since the equation isn't so easy but I guess they will win. I will be risking my money on Madrid certainly.

I am supporting City tonight because want Pep to have CL at least this season. I think Madrid also have good chance. Reason is city don't have the best defending and always break down in counter attacking and we have seen how Madrid could score goals in counter attack. They have players with good pace and strength to score goals. Pep knows where they are weak at so I think he is gonna have some strategy in mind today.

~snip~ They already won the first match against Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 but what happens if more cases appear and their team has to go into quarantine? There has been a similar case at the FC Zürich. They were forced to send their U21 team into competition and lost their next match 4-0 in the league. If Basel has to face the same scenario that could destroy their perfect position from the first match.
It's a bit unfair in my opinion, and this match is against fair play. Better not to have a match take place or be postponed until everything is safe. Life safety is more important. European level matches feature clubs from various states and this has a greater risk of contracting the Covid 19 virus.

My picks for tonight:

Juventus vs Lyon - Draw
Manchester City vs Real Madrid - Man City

Finally, Champions League is back! It's bad that both games are starting at exactly same time. I am going to watch MC vs RM, what about you guys?
my pick today = Juventus and Man City...
Today I have full faith in Juve, even though at the moment they lost on aggregate to Lyon but I'm sure Juve will be able to turn things around and win 2 points in today's match. go go juve.

For Juventus to qualify and win a UCL trophy they truly have to stop playing like an amateur team in Spanish divison B; they were a bit relaxed in the first leg Lyon dominated them from the very first time they could find the back of the net. The only advantage they have over Lyon in tonight's encounter is the presence of Ronaldo.

Key points for tonight's Juve's favour.
1. Home stadium
2. Experienced defence
3. They are Italian champions once more
4. They wouldn't want to repeat last year's mistake with Ajax.

Good luck to the better team.

Juventus - Lyon: 1
Manchester City - Real Madryt: X
I have no doubts about Juventus' victory. They have a better, more experienced team than Lyon and have just finished the season in which they won another Serie A championship. Since March, Lyon have played one, lost match by stakes. They will certainly not be in optimal shape for this meeting.
The game in Manchester is going to be much more interesting. Real needs a victory to advance, City will be satisfied with a draw. This is also the result I bet.

my picks for tonight are:

Juventus vs Lyon - Juventus
Manchester City vs Real Madrid - Manchester City
I choose Juventus and Real Madrid. Juventus has their best squad for now except injuries players and they have wanted to win Champions League, their first one in 21 st century. Ronaldo want to win and go ahead too. They will win and go to quarter final.

Manchester City has better advantages from first leg result to their squad for the match. Without Sergio Ramos, the defense system of Real will be damaged and decreased in quality. Anyway in football everything can happen and Real Madrid can make us surprise as they did in La Liga after its resume.

I would go with other picks for tonight's matches.
I believe that Juventus is going to win Lyon easily and Real is going to dominate Manchester City.
Real has a good morale after winning the La Liga title and they will try their best in this match.
