We can see very much difference in this Aston Villa side since when they hired Unai to take charge of these players as you can see how he’s improved the team greatly than how they used to perform in time past. They have suddenly rose above average to be one of the major contenders for the Top 4 spot in the league and that’s a massive one.

 ⁠They also have been able to qualify to the semifinals of the Europe Conference League this season and you can’t help but to see them as major competitors for that trophy. I think with thr right mentality they will be able to win that trophy and that will go down on the club’s record book as one very successful season in the past decade of the club’s history.
 
 For the semi finals they have better chances of qualifying as compared to Olympiacos and I think they have the major advantage which is going to be playing in their home ground. The fans will be a source of motivation for the Villa side and I think that will help them be able to score very more goals and get the advantage.

 ⁠When they get to the finals, I think they will be having great time facing Fiorentina and Club Brugge and I don’t think any of them will be able to stop them because Unai is pretty sound tactically and he has what it takes to be able to win the Conference League. Aston Villa are in the best time of their history in a long while and I hope they’ll at least be able to go to Ucl, they could be better representatives.

Aston Villa are strong in every direction, the goalkeepers and defenders are so defensive that the unique team could not call the attacking defenders. But actually Olympiakos team is very unfortunate to compete with Aston Villa, Aston Villa has performed very well this season.  Especially Aston Villa's attacking players are very hard to attack and ready to defeat other teams at any time.

There are presence of outstanding clubs that will be confident for winning the Conference League Cup this season. The UEFA Conference league is mainly for outstanding clubs and we're gradually watching the performance of these teams. Aston Villa have been in great form this season and they're striving for excellent results. Winning is always compulsory for Villa and Unai Emery is ready to make decisive changes for the purpose of Aston Villa to win matches.

French representative Lille, who lost the first match with a score of 2-1, faced Lille and Aston Villa in the 2-1 rematch of the UEFA Conference League quarter-finals. Aston Villa won the match 4-3 on penalties, with the regular time ending 2-1 and the total score 3-3. Aston Villa reached the semi-finals of the Conference League. Martinez saved two penalties in victory over Lille. Also Turkish midfielder scores once against Aston Villa to be Lille's all-time top scorer in European competitions with 12 goals.

Olympiakos is actually a good team, but they will have the misfortune of being paired with Aston Villa. Maybe if he had matched with one of the other teams he could have passed the round. Fenerbahçe has been unlucky for two years. They lost to Sevilla last year, even though they won, but this year they lost to Olympiacos. Maybe next year they can break this bad luck.

It dependts in so many facts, we all know Aston Villa is a way better team than Olimpiacos, but sometimes the football who play one team make the other one very uncomfortable so lets see if this is the case.

THe main problem for Olimpiacos is his mental strenght they always lack this one, i still mention the game against Macabi for this same tournament, you cant win a game 4-0 and lose the comeback game 4-0.

I saw a video footage yesterday where sports reporters were interviewing Aston Villa fans and asking them to choose between winning the UEFA Conference League trophy and finishing the season in the top four. The majority of the fans that were asked opted for the the Conference League trophy than finishing the season in the top four and their reason is that it'll help them experience the feeling of winning a trophy as they've not been able to lift one a very long time. It was after watching that video I realized how important the Conference League trophy is to the club fans and why the club players must do everything within their strength to make sure they bring the trophy home.
Aston Villa will play against Greek club Olympiacos in the semi finals of the competition and would only reach the final of the best Olympiacos which o think will be a very difficult task for them . there's every possiblity of seeing the English Premier League club win the competition but I think eliminating their semi final opponent will be more difficult than winning any team they'll meet in the final of the competition

Aston Villa has so far been able to continue to maintain their performance in the Conference League, previously Aston Villa managed to beat a strong team Ajax to reach the quarterfinals of the Conference League, after that they were also quite surprisingly able to overcome the hard resistance from Lille to be able to reach the semifinals, two big and strong teams were eliminated by Aston Villa so I think no team might be able to prevent them from winning the league Conference this season, Aston Villa has a strong mentality in the Premier League and Conference League this season, in addition to Aston Villa's squad which also contains many quality players is of course very perfect when they are supported by the experience possessed by Unai Emery at this time.

Olympiacos will be their opponent in the semi-finals and I don't think against Olympiacos is a tough job for Aston Villa at the moment, we can see how lucky Olympiacos are to beat Fenerbache after the Fenerbache coach made many mistakes in rotating and replacing their players in the match, besides that Olympiacos qualified for the semi-finals with difficulties when only facing teams like Fenerbache so in my opinion Olympiacos has no chance To win at all from Aston Villa later.

Semifinal match will still take place at the beginning of May and of course there is enough time for the four team to prepare everything as well as possible, they compete in two matches to determine who deserves to be in the final to fight for the title.

Looking at the four team that will compete, it can be seen that Aston Villa and Fiorentina are the teams that are widely discussed as favorites to win their respective matches and advance to the final.
Personally, I see that Aston Villa has good opportunity and they are sure to be able to finish both matches against Olympiakos with satisfactory results, they will be in the final later.
If Aston Villa really reaches the final and whoever the opponent is, Fiorentina or Club Brugge, then Aston Villa still has chance to win the title.
After all, they are in the Premier League and quite often play against big, strong team, so having so much experience can make Aston Villa more confident in winning to fight for the title.

Olympiacos should consider themselves lucky at the same time. Fenerbahçe didn't have a good manager to make the right moves during the matchup. He had such a shallow thinking style that his choices cost Fenerbahçe the semi final chance.    Otherwise Olympiacos aren't a team that can really eliminate them by playing stronger.

Aston Villa will show them who the boss is in the semi finals without doubt. I expect a really comfortable win in the first leg to finish them off quickly. No matter Fiorentina or Club Brugge become their opponent in the finale Aston Villa should be able to become the champions anyway.

So far Fenerbache still has competition to win the Super Lig, but of course fans are dissatisfied with their team's performance after they were eliminated by Olympiakos, actually Fenerbache could have won the game if Ismail Kartal could make substitutions carefully, when Fenerbache was 1 goal ahead in the 11th minute, Fenerbache still had a good performance in attacking and even almost broke Olympiakos goal several times,  But I don't know what underlies Ismail Kartal's decision to remove several players who played well in the match, such as sending off Edin Dzeko and Fred, I saw after the players change the intensity of Fenerbache attack decreased and it was seen that Fenerbache seemed to have been satisfied with the score 1-0 in the match.

Speaking of quality, of course, Olympiacos is far below Fenerbache and it is quite natural that Ismail Kartal is currently blamed for his strategy that is often in shambles, after losing the Turkish Super Cup trophy due to the WO and also the Europa League, right now their only hope is to win the Super Lig where Galatasaray is Fenerbache's strongest rival at the moment. 

Aston Villa have been in a good performance this season and their team spirit lifted them to where they are now, just last week they won Arsenal in the premier league match and also qualified for the Europa conference league semi finals, that is to show how determined they have become and all Thanks to Unai Emery for building such a formidable team and I commend his coaching skills at Villa Park.
Aston Villa versus Olympiacos match will not be a problem for Aston Villa more especially in their home ground so they are going to qualify for the finals against either Club brugge or Fiorentina because with the energy that Club brugge showed on the Europa conference league, they might surprisingly win Fiorentina and get to the finals so that match is not yet certain which among them will qualify for the finals but for that of Aston Villa and Olympiacos, Aston Villa have my stake there.

I see a clear destruction by Aston Villa there.    The first leg is in England. Olympiacos will probably adopt a quite defensive game. However I don't expect Aston Villa to have serious issues with breaking it and getting a good advantage already.

Emery is working miracles with Aston Villa and I expect a satisfying win to finish the job in the first leg already. They are fighting for a Champions League spot in the Premier League also of course but I don't think this will affect their concentration level negatively.


Fiorentina were overwhelmingly good against Plzen. However the Plzen goalkeeper played his life matches.    Still Fiorentina managed to win by the goals they found in extra time. I expect a big effort from them against Club Brugge also and my favourite is them to reach the finale once again here.

Fiorentina missed the title chance to West Ham last year and it looks like it can happen against Aston Villa this time. 

Although Fenerbahçe lost the first leg 3-2 and won the second leg 1-0 at home, The sides leveled at 3-3 on aggregate, so the match went to extra time and then the penalty shootout. Fenerbahce was eliminated from the UEFA Europa Conference League by opponents Olympiacos after a heartbreaking 3-2 penalty shootout. Olympiacos goalkeeper Kostas Tzolakis put in a heroic performance, saving three penalties. Greek's Olympiacos will face England's Aston Villa in semi-final.

Honestly fans are rightful to be mad, the owners are rightful to be mad as well, they build a squad that is twice as valued as only, and yet they still lost as well. I think it's quite obvious that if you are not careful with what you are doing then you are going to end up losing.

I personally believe that the situation they are in right now is managers fault, he made some terrible decisions all game long, and he made some terrible decisions on the first game as well so it is definitely the fault of the manager. Not like they can fire him, because only a few games left, so firing him right now would be just throwing the towel at the league as well, but I am 100% certain that the very next day of the last game of this season, that manager is gone.

Man, what are you saying? Olimpiacos is far behind Aston Villa, maybe they can win against them because is only a match of football but in term of teams and players Aston Villa is at least two miles away from them, i dont know in what you based your opinion.

Anyways in this tournament anyone can become the champion.

Aston Villa performance under Emery is very impressive this season because their performance is quite stable because in Premier League Aston Villa can occupy 4th place on League Table and on Conference League too they can advances to the semifinal and since group stages Aston Villa journey is not easy especially since knockout phase because on round of 16 Aston Villa was facing strong opponent Ajax but at that time they can beat that team with final aggregate 4-0 and on quarterfinal too Aston Villa have to hard struggling but they can eliminate Lille so from these statistics we can see Aston Villa deserved to called as Champion candidate because they can successfully eliminate strong teams

In my opinion Olympiacos quality is not so different compared to Aston Villa previous opponents because this team is hard to beated even the latest is they can eliminate Fenerbahce and for the first leg Aston Villa will playing as a host and this is good opportunity to taking advantages from home match because if Aston Villa can able to overcomes Olympiacos then second leg would be more easy for them and recently i have checked the odds for both teams and i can see Aston Villa as the favourite even they have low odds to bets @1.43

I totally agree with your opinion about Aston Villa being one of the favourite teams to win Conference League this season, if not the most favourite one.
Aston Villa will face Olympiacos in the semifinal game and I expect them to pass. Olympiacos are barely moving from a step to another against teams that are weaker than Aston Villa.
The other semifinal match will be played between Fiorentina and Club Brugge. Well, at this point, I don't find Fiorentina way favourite honestly. Both teams are close to each other and the main difference is Serie A is superior than the Belgium one. Yet Brugge sometimes could be more surprising!

Fenerbahçe's elimination had a great impact in the country because the expectations were very high, the fans thought they would win the cup. Olympiacos was only half of Fenerbahçe's squad value, but ultimately Fenerbahçe was eliminated. Now the majority of people see the culprit as İsmail Kartal. They say that if there was another manager, Fenerbahçe would have passed this round. Some people say that the management cares more about the league. But why would the management make such a choice when it could go all the way in both leagues? There's no logic to this.

When we look at the teams that have not been eliminated, the strongest team right now seems to be Aston Villa. When we look at both their performance in the Premier League this season and their European matches, I see that there is no serious obstacle in front of them. I don't know if we will see a surprise result, I think Fiorentina and Aston Villa will play in the final match
