All quarter-final first leg matches have been completed in their entirety and after Fenerbahce failed to win today it also shows match that is no less surprising too.
Aston Villa managed to win against LOSC with score of 2 - 1 and in this home match it shows that the two competed quite fiercely, LOSC managed to dominate the game but Aston Villa was far superior in taking advantage of opportunities to play at home.
With the temporary advantage that Aston Villa has on aggregate, they have temporarily comfortable conditions, but for the second leg match, I think Aston Villa will get big surprise.
LOSC can definitely take advantage of the opportunity by achieving big win at home, this is something that Aston Villa must be aware of and of course LOSC also has fairly good history of home matches.

Competition in the quarter-finals was truly impressive, those who were favorites lost and the second leg match will be the final decider in this round.

Well,seeing Club Brugge,Paok,Plzen,Fenerbahce this high in the Europa Conference League it means that Uefa has full success with this format,it gives plenty of opportunities to teams who stand little to no chance of advancing in Champions League even if they manage to be in the group stage there or near getting qualified for group stage.Two teams from Greece in the quarter finals means that in this league even teams from not well known major leagues have real possibilities to get even further and why not go for the winning of such league.I am very impressed by teams like the one mentioned here which are teams that do great at their local league but that's it,in International competitions they don't do that well,in this format though they are doing great and as I said it is a great success for Uefa.

Olympiakos is experiencing a very good improvement lately very surprising, the representative of the Greek league was unexpectedly able to beat Fenerbahce with a score of 3-2 I myself was very confident before because Fenerbahce was much better in my opinion before but it seems to be disappointing in the match in leg 1 this time, I hope in the second leg Fenerbahce can avenge it, maybe Olympiakos can do that because they play at home so they are much freer and play more aggressively so they get a pretty good victory in leg 1, and then in the 2nd leg where Fenerbahce is the host in this match must also do the same and the score difference must be much better than what Olympiakos got in leg 1 to increase their chances of getting a ticket to qualify for the next round, if not maybe they have to stop and cry to wait back in the future gar can follow the conference league again.

BTW what do you think Fenerbahce will get a win in leg 2? and will you bet on this leg 2, I hope we do and cry if we lose. LOL

As I said, it was clear that Fenerbahce lost the game because of the loss of control in the midfield. After the 3rd goal, there was a completely different Fenerbahce after the midfield change.Ismail Kartal was again weak in terms of squad structure in these matches.If he had started with the duo of Ismail and Fred in the starting 11, maybe he would have had the potential to leave here with a win. Krunic and Zajc conceded 3 unnecessary goals for Fenerbahce and when Ismail and Fred came on in their place Fenerbahce almost dominated the game.At least I think Fenerbahce, who turned 3-0 into 3-2 and even missed many opportunities for 3-3, will go through at home.

Although Fenerbahce was 3-0 behind, but in the end Fenerbahce still managed to score two goals back and that wasn't bad at all. Because afterall, in the second leglater, Fenerbahce will also be playing at home and therefore, the final score of 3-2 in this first leg still gives Fenerbahce a chance to qualify for the next round. Because about the away team trailed first with a big score of 3-0 but Fenerbahce was stillable to reduce the defeat to 3-2, so it is clear thatFenerbahce has goodquality compared to Olympiacos at thismoment. Therefore, Fenerbahce should still be fine even though Fenerbahce lost in this first leg, because ofcourse Fenerbahce can turn things around in the second leg later when Fenerbahce play at home.

Fenerbahçe defeat was quite annoying since it wasn't expected to take three goals in less than sixty minutes without scoring any. Later they attacked and tried to catch up but the score was already big. Scoring two goals and reducing the gap between them and Olympiacos for the second leg was the best thing they can do. Next time they will play home with -1 goal, they might get a chance even though the mission will be quite difficult to achieve.

In the other game, Fiorentina got a draw against Plzen. Fiorentina isn't stable even in Serie A just like Juventus and we cannot expect much from them in Conference League too apparently..

Currently, Olympiakos leaded over three goals after Chiquinho scoring on 57th minutes, its difficult for Fenerbahce how to make come back after conceding three goals until 70th minutes matches begin.

Yeah Fenerbahce had to concede 2 goals in the first half and I think this is the impact of Olympiakos' quick goal in the 8th minute, sometimes a quick goal like this can disturb their opponent's mentality and loss of concentration thus triggering the 2nd goal. In the second half Fenerbahce were under pressure and had to turn things around as quickly as possible, overall Fenerbahce didn't play badly it's just that luck is not on their side. By the way I have placed a bet on both teams to score before the match starts and I waited for Fenerbahce to score the first goal,
 

Club Brugge vs PAOK

So far the performance of Club Brugge in this competition is really impressive because at group stages Club Brugge can able to finish at first place with collect 15 points from 6 matches and at round of 16 too Club Brugge can dramatically win from FC Molde and for FC PAOK their performance also is not so different even slightly better if we compared to Club Brugge because PAOK unbeatable during group stages and PAOK performance at round of 16 is very fantastic because after lost at first Leg PAOK can able to beat Dinamo Zagreb at their home with big scores 5-1 for second leg and this result too makes them can advances to the quarterfinal stages

Actually my predictions is PAOK is the team who possibly will be advances to the semifinal but because first leg match will be held at Club Brugge home ground then PAOK should be careful and not lost today and the recent condition of these teams is whether it Club Brugge and PAOK had similar problem because at least 5 players from them will be absense because suspension and injured and although this is home match for Club Brugge but i don't think they can easily to beat PAOK even i have to says PAOK potentially can stole point today or targetting draw result from this match and it is very possible to do so and my prediction for this match is both teams will playing draw and this option has high odds @3.50

Fenerbahce had a bad first half.Livakovic should not concede such simple goals, but there is also a clear defensive weakness.Fenerbahce's midfield duo of Krunic-Zajc is not a very useful choice.Ismail and Fred are clearly missing. In the second half, one of the two players will probably be taken off and Ismail might come on in his place.This should give Fenerbahce a bit more control in the midfield.Olympiakos can cross the midfield very quickly, so they can get into position easily.One of the main transfers in Fenerbahce next season should definitely be a midfielder. There is no player who can build a ball. Neither Zajc nor Krunic has made any attempt to do so.

Olympiacos has a moderate squad. We know El Kaabi and Jovetic very well. Fortunis has also been part of this roster for years. The teams that play quarter finals are close in strength. No result will be a surprise here. Fenerbahçe has a more valuable squad, but the recent chaos must have affected them psychologically. If the players can put their minds to this game, I see Fenerbahçe one step ahead. They can get the result they want here and finish the job at home in the rematch. But I wouldn't be surprised if there is an opposite result. This could be the most difficult draw to predict. Džeko and Tadic will be the key part for Fenerbahçe in this match.

The UEFA Conference League is here and we expects the participants to be competitive, however the league is competitive because we have clubs that clinches for the title and giving up is not even an option for them. There are difficulties when it involves the clashes of competitive clubs but atleast the one with lesser power doesn't compact with top ones and will be differentiated from the important winnings. Fiorentina will definitely have easy pass against their opponents because Viktoria Pilzen is not even competent enough to handle the top tasks levelled against them.

Honestly, when you are at this stage of the competition, no team is easy, whoever ends up winning the games will be able to say that the other team also deserved the win as well. When you are in the group stages of it, you can see a lot of teams who are not that great, when you are at last sixteen, there are a few teams who are not that great but got lucky with group draw, but when you are at quarter finals, there aren't really that many teams that could be considered weak.

Any of these 8 teams could win the title and wouldn't be a shock, same with UCL and same with UEL as well, in all these three competitions, all 8 teams in all of them could end up winning. Sure there are some leading candidates to win, but that doesn't make other teams bad.

Yes, we know that all teams will play well at home and struggle to try get 3 points to present to supporters, but when I look at Lille Odd it seems impossible to through with that great winning bro.

Both games are just too difficult for mman to predict so I'd just give my thoughts anyways and pass, like goddamn, I already had aches reviewing the past games they played already.
I don't know Plzen quite well but Florentina just like last season in this same Competition are making good advances, they lost the finals last season but here they are trying all over again to make sure they make things go write this very season and campaign.

As for Aston Villa, boggled with how fast they have been displaced off them position on the Premier League Competition and Table, they will have to do better honestly.
Lillie seems like a good side to bet on. They have the better hand's to win for my own opinion.

I don't think I have forgotten Unai Emery experience in Competitions like this, he has all he has to win it. May God bless him.

Lille is having a good season in France. They will play against Aston Villa, but since the match will be in England, they will focus more on not losing in this match. Aston Villa are a great team but their opponents are also very difficult. Of course, they will also follow the other matches. The winner of this match will play the winner of Fenerbahçe - Olympiakos in the semi-final. That's why all the teams playing matches now follow the other matches.

Therefore, although this season Fenerbahce managed to compete strongly in the Turkish League with Galatasaray but yes, to get the Conference League trophy still won't be easy. Because after all, the fact is that there are still teams like Aston Villa also in this phase and Aston Villa has good performance this season with their new coach Unai Emery. So yes, although it is certainly not wrong to expect good results for Fenerbahce in the Conference League but still, the reality will never be easy at all.

Fiorentina have a really easy work to do. They just shouldn't underestimate their opponent otherwise we know what might happen.    As long as they don't do the same as Leverkusen did against Qarabag they should be good to go.

Fenerbahçe, Aston Villa and Club Brugge are my favourites in the remaining games. Fenerbahçe have a more difficult work to do when we compare them to the others though. But I think they are strong enough to win by a decent score.

Aston Villa would even achieve the Conference League trophy imo. Step by step they are getting closer to it. Stopping them is a challenging work to do while they are this impressive here.
