Might be true, but I think the more interesting fact about Chelsea playing in the Conference League is probably that they are the most expensive team that has ever participated in this competition. In the season 16/17 they won the Premier League with 93 points and qualified for the Champions League ever since until 21/22. Then despite record spending finished 12th and now 6th.

Out of coincidence I saw a documentary (it's English) about Abramovic and how he turned the club into a PL powerhouse. These times are over for the time being. Perhaps next year again though.

Tonight we are going to be entertained with Olympiakos against Fiorentina in the UEFA Conference League final I will try and make out chance to watch the game till the end because the FA cup final i could not watch it because I was very busy with work but this conference league final and champions league final I will try as much as possible not to miss any of them because they are the last game for this season and is going to be so interesting to watch.

At first I thought Fiorentina were clear favourites, but I was recently surprised to learn that the match will be played in Greece... It was really strange for me, I don't remember finals when one of the teams played at home... Now my combo bet is that both teams will score and Olympiacos will not lose... I hope it will be an entertaining battle...

This... I don`t rate one team or another significantly "better" but when one team is playing in its own country and has the chance of writing history by not only winning the first European football troiphy in its club history (and actually the first European trophy for any Greek club team), then I just can`t miss betting on just that.

It is very difficult to determine the winner in this final, perhaps I would give my preference to Olympiacos, for the reason that they managed to beat Aston Villa, for me it was the favorite in this tournament. In addition, the final will be held at the OPAP Arena in Athens, which I think should also add an advantage to Olympiacom, but bookmakers believe that Fiorentina has a higher chance of winning. Fiorentina does not have a very good defense, and therefore I expect that Olympiacos can score 1-2 goals in this match, and if they play well in defense, they will be able to win.

Fiorentina vs Olympiacos will be the last game in the conference, both teams will try their best to be able to end the season with the championship trophy this season, currently Fiorentina are certainly the favorites to win the game with all their experience in the Conference League so far, last season Fiorentina failed to win the Conference League after they were defeated by Westham in the final and this season is certainly an opportunity for them to avenge that failure And won the championship trophy this season, Olympiacos who appeared surprisingly able to beat Aston Villa in the semifinals, so it is indeed quite surprising for all of us because Aston Villa has been a strong candidate to win the Conference League because of their good performance this season.

Personally, I will place bets on both, Olympiacos to win Conference League as well as another bet on both teams to score.

Good luck everyone and even though I "hate" Oly, I am honest with you, a title like this, even if it`s "only" the Conference League, would be huge for Greece.

I'm very optimism Olympiacos will beat Fiorentina, they have El Kaabi, he's the top scorer in Conference League, so Olympiacos is the team that has an aggressive play style.

Pochettino is the one who bring Chelsea into this level, I doubt they will be better in the next season when we don't know how their performance with new coach. Tuchel with Bayern Munich is the example, even though Bayern Munich is the strongest team in Bundesliga, they failed in this season after win streak for ten seasons.

This competition doesn't seem to be the right one for Chelsea, but it's much better than last season without any European competition at all, I'm pretty sure Chelsea will be the biggest favorites this season, especially since they have reshuffled the coaching staff and with a new coach, so there will be new enthusiasm, but like Liverpool who were very favorites in the European league but failed, Chelsea's opportunity to fail is still there and maybe because they don't see this competition as the best for them to achieve.

Looking at the results of the previous four finals, yes, only the winning team scored a goal and only one goal was scored, so this might happen, but looking at the statistics of the two teams in this competition they almost always score a goal in every match so the chance of winning bet in yes on BTTS is wide open but choosing Olympiacos on the money line odds are bigger and this greek team's chances of winning look very big because they will be the first Greek team to win here.

Oh you should be scared of Fiorentina right now because just like you stated about Olympiakos not being a threat in their league, that'd the same thing for the Italian side, Fiorentina but since this tournament they have been exceptional and coupled with the fact that they are still smarting from their last season defeat to West Ham, I don't think Olympiakos will find them easy to beat even though their coach, Mendilibar, former Sevilla coach who led them to lifting the Europa league title last season believes they can.
Fiorentina are no strangers to these kinds of competitions and as such will want to use experience over the Greek club, coming close to winning two times but failing to can make a team desperate and Olympiakos will have to fight very hard if they want to win this cup.

The Conference League final between Olympiacos and Fiorentina... who would have thought that Oly would go as far when we take into consideration their poor performance (mostly) in the Greek Super League.

This is a VERY big game for Olympiacos and a VERY big game for Greek football in general with Olympiakos having the chance to win the cup and make it happen on Greek land - the final is played in Athens and to be precise, in AEK`s Agia Sophia arena.

Honestly, and I am saying that even though I am anything but an Olympiacos supporter, Fiorentina is not an opponent to be scared of. I don`t see how Olympiakos would miss this chance and I think they`ll write history today. For me, Oly to win the Conference League is a value bet and I will gladly take it. On Stake for example you can still get 2.13 and that`s good enough for me.

I think the game can not play both teams to score am just seeing it as a goal less draw however I think for one to be on a safer side on this game it will be better to just predict the game as a draw instead of both teams to score, because if you predict them draw even if them play 0-0 you are going to still won your bet so for me am going to place a bet on this game as a draw game that is my prediction.

I agree with you, I don't favor one of them because I think the strength of both teams is the same, indeed, Fiorentina is slightly better in experience but Olympiacos is a team that never gives up and has a strong defense So there is a possibility that the two teams will play a draw and continue through a penalty shootout. I also agree with you that both teams will score each other.

So ampere what you're saying is that as a result of the match looking as though it's going to be a tough game for both sides, whoever gets to have the first goal will likely win the game by a 1 goal. Although I disagree if that's what you mean. Not doubt both sides seem to be of equal strength but there's going to be goals pouring in this very finals and am giving it to Florentina as they are the team that are sophisticated to do more of the attacking while Olympiacos tries to hold back on defensive counterattacks. Let's watch out.

Yes you are right, the teams are equal and in a final there is rarely a superior team because the winner always take it all. If Florentina or Olympiacos can score first; then they will be most certain to win the cup

Tomorrow we are going to witness another though match between Olympiakos against Fiorentina in UEFA Conference League final I think the both teams is just equal and the way am seeing the game is going to end In a Draw match because looking at their performance in the semi final non of them is expected to take the maximum point against another but to share it equally after 90 minutes.

Bumping this topic a bit day before the final. What are your thoughts before it? I would say that there is no favorite in this game. Olympiacos left no chance for Aston Villa in semifinal, so, you can't understimate them. While Fiorentina, they lost final last year, loss second season in a row would be very painful. Put BTTS @1.90, hope it won't be boring 0:0 after 90 or 120 minutes.
BTW, If Fiorentina will lift trophy, it would give 9th placed Torino place in next season Conference league. 9 team or almost half of league playing in Europe is something crazy that we didn't saw before.

Last season, they came this far against one of the best clubs from English Premier League Competition ( West Ham United ) and at the end, lost the finals to West Ham United.
It gladdens me heart to see how they've shaped themselves despite all of the hurdles they go throughout this chase for this conference cup. They have done well and I must give them praises for that. One more time, they have to show strength as they failed before, keep them head high ups and win this game.

Aston Villa was considered one of the best amd favorites to win this Competition but they fell off dramatically as we never expected that during the first game they played at home. Having seen Olympiacos defeating Aston Villa and Unai Emery who has experience in European Competitions like this, they have to take caution and thread carefully.

I'm rooting for Florentina, if they do successfully win this Competition and Manchester United wins against Manchester City during the FA Cup Competition, Sofyan Amrabat would be able to win two silverwares at the end of the season. Same way it was for Joào Cancelo who won with Bayern Munich and Manchester City.

It is interesting that the Conference League finale isn't played before the Europa League and Champions League ones.    You know, normally this is quite common in sports. Third place decider matches are always played first. This isn't exactly the same situation of course. But I liken it to the importance differences among European tournaments.

Anyway, after seeing the favourite side in the Europa League finale losing, I wonder what will happen here... Olympiacos are also the underdog here but anything can happen. I assume I will try my luck with them with a small bet.
