Tomorrow there is a game between italy and austria and it seems another easy win for italy if they play with the same style like in the group stage, they dominated all their games and without receiving any goals i think we will see a similar game tomorrow.

It is time to have some action tomorrow. We have two games: Wales - Denmark and Italy - Austria.

Wales - Denmark: I can't say that Wales were really good in the group stages. Turkey's poor performance against them helped really much to qualify for this round. Otherwise, Wales don't play that good I think. But Denmark really impressed me in their group games. Eriksen's heart problem has been a big motivation for them to play better against their opponents. They were incredible against Russia the last time. I think that they have a so big chance against Wales also. I expect Denmark to be the winner of this round by one goal at least.

Italy - Austria: I'm not going to talk about this draw too much. Because it is very clear that Austria have near zero chance against Italy. Because they are one of the biggest favorites to win the title as well. Italy have a really good football discipline. I think that they won't have much problem on eliminating their opponent.

Sweden are also my favourite in this match, and they have impressed so far in the tournament. It was only by a hair that Ukraine made it out of the group stage as one of the top four third-placed teams. When we look at clashes with strong teams, the Ukrainians played well against the Netherlands, but lost the game nonetheless, while they had very little chance to score against Austria.

Kulusevski can be a masterclass player, he has the Zidane's moves if he can progress in his carrier.
This year he underperformed in Juventus like the whole team under Pirlo.

In this Euro is starting to show his class.

I have a feeling that sweden will have a long run in this Euro as they finished above Spain and they barely concede goals and also their match up system looks kinda fair...and with this being said , don't be surprised if you see Sweden in semi-finals or even the finals. It's even England or Sweden in the finals but hard to chose from Italy/Portugal/France or Belgium on the other side of the Euro2020 Play-off panel.
A group stage ranking dosent mean much but they got a good draw. Honestly they got a good chance to win against Ukraine,Ukraine has struggled a lot in the group stage, but im expecting lots of goals in that match

And i hope they're not  Tongue
It's time for my country team to win this Swedish people and go ahead.  Tongue

Chances for both teams are close so can wish a victory for the best!

Besides, it's also VERY FUNNY that books gave really ROYAL coefs for any Russia opponent. For example for the victory of Denmark against russian "team"  the coef was 1.75!!! It better than crypto bulls race, because probable success was around 95 %. And 2.3 for -1 in score

Yes I also can't predict who will win chance is 50:50 maybe only luck they can hope for. For regular time I prefer Belgium but if it's a penalty shootout I choose Portugal
Likewise with England for regular time and Germany for penalties, I took the choice based on the records of each team.
I will bet for Germany victory in that match, I think England was just lucky because they joined Grub D which incidentally is a team that is indeed under England, especially in some Grub phase matches, England's performance in my opinion is far from a potential champion candidate and we can see when England face Scotland who are the weakest team in the group. I believe that Germany will beat England with a score of 2-1 in the match later.

However, England are also favorites against Germany but I think they might be wrong on this one.

Its not much differences between those two and the bookies probably favour England because this game would be played in Wembley Stadium. Thats literally the home ground for the England team and would give them the advantages. I actually thoughts the odds would be closer to 2.0 because of this advantage but it isnt and thats probably because England's performances in Group Stage is kinda lame

Yeah. I know he's a good player, but I do think he's over-rated. Five goals in three games is not representative of his contribution. Not sure if the figures are totally up to date, but he's scored 145 penalties in his career...

Im not sure why you are bringing this up but penalties are part of the game. Even if he scored a lot from the penalty spot, he is still a top player and he is not over rated. He earned his spot on the top.

England have a relatively easy run all the way to the final if they can just get past Germany which is obviously a huge hurdle but Germany have been inconsistent so far. They steamrolled Portugal, lost to France and then drew with Hungary and if they can hold them to a draw then England certainly have a chance, but their performances against mediocre teams haven't been great either. I'd still probably back Germany to win but a draw is also looking likely. I could see the match going to penalties. Hopefully there's lots of goals. A 2-2 would be nice.

Yeah, I agree that it's not really fair to players who aren't taking penalties. But the award goes to the player that scores the most goals, penalties are goals and to be fair, a player has to be among the best in his team to get a chance to take them.

These individual rewards are irrelevant anyway, football is a team game and the only important thing is winning the cup. Therefore the team itself wants their best player taking them.

Irrelevant? Tell that to Ronaldo. I'm sure he won't care how he gets the golden boot. I agree that penalties are an easy way to rack up the goal tally and maybe shouldn't count but I guess a goal is a goal at the end of the day. I'm not complaining though as Skybet had an offer on for the golden boot where if you put £10 on a player you get a £3 free bet every time they score and I went with Ronaldo so have made my money back in free bets already and might win over £100 if he ends up being the top scorer. Getting past Belgium isn't going to be easy though so if they go out to them there's lots of players on three goals like Lukaku who could catch him and if he scores in that game he'll be well on his way to the golden boot.

The match organizer has their own judgment to determine the best player in a match, For example, the best player in the world, not all players can enter into the best player nomination. The goal of the best players is to motivate players to show their best quality on the field, This makes the game even more fun to watch.

The problem is that the organizers don't care about fairness. For example, at the World Championships in the finals, the best player is always the player from the losing team (maybe they think this prize is consolation?). I've seen many championships and it always happens that way.
I don't think it's a problem because the best players can come from the winning team and not, but as far as I'm aware the best players will always come from the winning team. Whether it's from a club or from the national team, at least they get an assessment of the way they play and how high their influence in a team is to bring their team to become champions. Well, I personally don't really care about this because for me, whoever the best players are, the most important thing is that they can still play with high sportsmanship in a match.

Yes, my observations has picked up that in a number of competition, I don't know what compensation that is, but sport is a Noble activity, that should bear a standard for merit, how I see it is that the pick the best player from the losing team and automatically they are the best players, wining team may not be too furious because they are engulfed by their victory.
Regardless of who wins or loses, two team came out and one came out best than the other, when they contested, so what ever happened during the contest should not be sentimentally judged .

Ronaldo didn't really perform that well. He just scores penalties all the time. What is Portugal going to do without penalties?

Yeah. I know he's a good player, but I do think he's over-rated. Five goals in three games is not representative of his contribution. Not sure if the figures are totally up to date, but he's scored 145 penalties in his career... which is a sizeable chunk of his overall goals tally. Yes he's a good player, but he's not quite as much of a goal machine as the figures suggest.

Before fully switching our attention to 1/8 finals, I still want to say few words about group stage.
Guys, which team surprised you most and which one was biggest disappointment? For me biggest surpeise was Hungary. Yes, they got eliminated, but they deserves a lot of respect because how they played in death group is impressive. 2 points in such group is great result for them, especially when slmost everyone expected that they will end with 0 points. From underdogs, Denmark got my sympathy too.
Biggest disappointment is Poland for me. Before tournament, I was confident that they can reach next round. Lewandowski was doing everything what he can, but when he don't have world class players around him, it makes everything more difficult for him.
So far this tournament is exceptional because of big number of own goals and many missed penalties. Also, there was quite many goalkeepers mistakes so far.

My prediction is Germany and Belgium will move to the next phase.
I think England and Portugal also have an equal chance of qualifying for the quarter-final because this is a match that will be difficult to predict. England have struggled to score more than 1 goal in every group stage game although they couldn't do it but that doesn't mean they will fall short in the last 16. I think some of the best match in the last 16 include Belgium vs Portugal and England vs Germany. So it is not easy to predict the outcome.

I think, in Ukraine - Austria we will see a draw. Or the win match for Ukraine team. This is my bet  Grin
Its a good one, though i wouldn't bet on this but then, with the fact that Austra lost to the Netherlands just yesterday, loosing there forth coming game against Ukraine would be no option for them. It would mean 6points gone and shows them the way out of the competition. Ukraine on the other hand would be plyallaying from home and as such, have got the home advantage and won't fail to put in a good fight for which, a draw is inevitable. Though, its the most unlikely of bets to predict when it comes to me.

Was surprised to have seen the 2 fixtures for today play out in a draw. I suppose this is also why its hoped that Ukraine vs Austria fixture would have same results. As the games gets going, the teams becomes the more tough. Goal-Goal draw and Goalless draw. Today was written off.

Oooops, i was a little wrong  Grin At least it was close enough to draw (0: 1 Austria). Not like 3:0 in match between Russia and Belgium.

We will see how the match will result between Ukraine / Sweden

One thing I liked about Hungary is that almost their entire team was of Hungarian descent (the only exception I could find was Loïc Négo). On the other hand, the Western European nations fielded squads that were predominantly composed of players who were born in Africa or Latin America. Obviously in football the eligibility rules are quite tight and you can't include non-citizens in the squad. But many of these players (Kimpembe, Pogba, Mbappé, Dembélé.etc) had the option of representing their country of descent as well. They chose European countries for obvious reasons. Now this is a disadvantage for the poorer countries.
You forgot to mention Willi Orban, he was born in Kaiserslautern, Germany and is living in Germany for his entire life now. He even played for the German under 21 national Team. In 2018 he decided to play for the Hungarian national team instead, i guess because he thought his chances for regular appearances are higher there than in the german squad and it worked out for him as he is a starting player their. He can play for Hungary because his dad is from hungarian.
On the subject of the French national team. France used to be a colonial power. That's why there are more people of African descent in the country than in other countries. It is true that they are over-represented in the national team, but it is a fact that black people are usually better athletes and coaches will always just the best players that are available to them.
I would say that there are plenty of players like that in history, and not just in football neither, there are tons of them in basketball as well, specially American players who are not good enough to be in NBA end up playing in other teams at euroleague and then they become the nationality for that nation. No idea how that works, I mean think about it, you are not REALLY believing you are from that nation do you? Is Wili Orban 100% feeling like a Hungarian? No.

It means why would you pick that nations team and why would that nation accept you, but for some reason both players and those nations fall in love with each other and sometimes even become bigger than the players from that nation because the outsider wants to prove that they really want to and work really hard versus the player who was already born there and do not care about the result.

Well, he was born in Germany, but I guess Willi Orban has some Hungarian roots. Orbán or Orban is a Hungarian surname and even occasional first name. In German it would be a variant of Urban.
I have not looked into it, but it is possible that he has dual citizenship because he has at least one Hungarian parent.

I think who progresses to where will depend on how these guys perform against their opponents, unfortunately I can't say that it will be easy for either teams from your picks i.e England or Portugal...this is becoming tough.

The only teams promising to jump to the next phase are Denmark 🇩🇰 and Sweden 🇸🇪 the rest have to work for it, I don't see favourites in their fixtures.

It can't be confirmed that the prediction can be correct what we see their opponent is quite tough so it won't be easy to get past to get into the last 8 phase, yesterday Germany struggled to win with Hungary and in the end had to draw after the final goal as the decider have qualified for the last 16, as well as Portugal so their ambition is very strong especially Ronaldo will continue to try to win with Belgium so I can't be sure and in football, something will definitely change in the final score later, but it will be a very interesting match for watched, for those who love certain teams with bets, there will be more satisfaction in itself.
