Spain are the Euro Champion. Feeling bad for England. But Spain was a better team today to win.

Congratulations to the champions Spain. I feel very bad for England likewise especially for Harry Kane but it is what it is in football there must be a winner in the finals and no doubt Spanish side has been the better team from the day one of the competition till this very moment and in this particular finals tonight, I think it was a well deserved victory because they were the better team tonight.

Only a few minutes left for England to equalize, 2-1 win for Spain and I think it's going to be hard for England to come back, maybe a miracle of the hand of God, but it's unlikely.

England were so close to equalizing but unfortunately Dani Olmo blocked the shot that could have gone into the Spain goal, maybe it was very disappointing for England's hopes.

South Gate just happens to be someone that has made the most tactical changes within his squad and almost with immediate effect through the whole tournament. Each time he makes a change, the effect is immediately seen on the pitch.
He’s made yet another change that would have been questionable, having to remove Kane for Watkins when ordinarily, you would have expected to leave Kane and maybe go for Foden, just to have two attacks but no, he brings out Kane and brings on Watkins, soon after Cole Palmer and the game is changed completely.
We would have tnem playing safe right into extra time.
I am impressed with SouthGate’s composure despite the dominance Spain is having in the game, he maintain the tactics and the players also keep maintaining the pressure, and the substitute made by Southgate just as he did in the semifinal has done another miracle today, the players are very focused and want only the trophy.

Spain has scored the winning goal to emerge the winner of the Euro 2024.
It is a well deserved trophy for the young boys and kudos to England, they also tried to keep the match till the last minute.

First half done, England is really on the receiving side of this match, Spain is really pressing them, they only awoke in the final minutes of the first half. Spain has the possession but can hardly properly penetrate the English box 18. They need to be more creative to overcome the English defense. Walker is doing a very good job stopping Williams from unleashing mayhem on the defense. Williams changed wing and he still changed with him to continue his checkmating his excesses. Nice display from the gallant defender.

Saka is invisible in this match. I think Southgate is lacking the good choice of players to put in this match. He really needs to introduce Palmer to have a proper impact on the Spanish defense and create something good that can really convert. I'll propose he removes Saka and put Palmer for greater effectives of the forward.

The first half was goalless, but Spain dominated. England need to make a lot of changes instead of just defending well, I mean they need to go out and attack and increase the pressure on the Spanish defence. Without Rodri in the second half it might have been different for Spain, so England could have taken advantage of this.

And now we both see that Spain has taken a 1-0 lead at the start of the second half through Nico Williams' goal. Lamine Yamal created a good assist which was maximized by Nico Williams, clearly this really hit England's mentality. It is clear that Spain will be just as dominant in the second half and they will increase the pressure so that England cannot develop their game, but there is still plenty of time for Gareth Southgate if he wants to change his game and strategy.
Palmer the game changer had entered and the game changed considerably, all of a sudden Saka is now active since someone meaningful is now feeding him proper passes and good support.

Did someone notice that the main problem of this match was Kane who was almost invisible and the match came alive starting from his exit.

Scores leveled 1:1 game on. Now the game looks more like a competition.
Palmer is a supersub and the moment he step his feet into the field he equalized the goal giving  England the opportunity to be hopeful in the game. This was the same thing that he did against Netherlands after Palmer and Watkins came into the field there was a good ball work which Palmer made the assist and Watkins scored the winning goal.

Spain is pressuring to score the second goal to give them victory but it has not been possible since few opportunities that they had was not use.

Finally, Spain has taken the lead again as Oyazarba was able to make a good finish after he received a pass from Cucurela inside the 18 yard box. It is over as Spain has taken the lead, I don't see how England will able to equalize the second goal. It is 2-1

When they scored the first goal I thought Spain would win the game. England responded, it was a very exciting goal. I would have been happier if it was a match in which we would see more goals. Let's see if there will be a team that can score a goal in the last minutes and become champions.
While I was writing this, Spain scored a goal, it's a match ending worthy of a final match. We are ready to see the champion Smiley

England on paper is the best squad at the EUROs this year. But they won all the matches very scrappily, making it by scoring last-minute goals, or a 5/5 penalty shootout. They got lucky you can say that as well. But they also deserve credit for beating such an in-form, red hot Netherlands team. They showed up with grit and left with nothing short of success.

I'd say England are the underdogs in this final, and given how good Spain was throughout the tournament, they may take all the glory. But everything can happen, if England shows their defensive prowess and finishes their chances on the other end, they may win it. Again, everything can happen. Fingers crossed.

When it was looking the Spain would easily make it, England scored a magnificent goal and all of a sudden the game has totally changed. Cole Palmer brought in hope for the England team when he scored in the 73 minute and they can still win this title. It was spain who were dominating the match for 70 odds minutes and now they are on the back foot. Spain needs to re-group themselves and it look like that we will be having a long night.
It seems that the match would not be decided in the normal time and we might be going in the extra time.

Spain is performing well in this match as in previous matches. But England's overall performance is poor. England's performance made me think they were playing for a draw. Despite creating several attacking opportunities, England's players managed to make only 3 shots in 60 minutes. On the other hand, Spain's players made 10 shots.

Spain's players are dominating the match. Spain's players are attacking a lot. Also, 66% of the ball possession was done by the Spanish players. On the other hand, England's overall performance is weak. Williams scored off Yamal's assist. Spain's two young strikers are performing well. It looks like Spain will win the match. England's chances of winning are slim. I don't think the performance of England's players is good.

I'm not sure if England will deliberately allow Spain to score them, take the cup and humiliate them? I'm not sure if they played the way they did but the style the coach want them to play. They were playing a full defensive style of game, that's why they had just 2 short on target in the first half but Spain had 3 times of that but immediately the second half started, they change to both offensive style and defensive and luckily, England is still in the game.

Yamal is underrated, I don't know why England slept on him, the boy is young and he is looking for and opportunity and England just allowed him, nobody bodied him and he looks too lose to be running freely. Another problem is that pass completion of England is looking unprofessional. If Spain finally win this tournament, it's going to be a huge blow on England.

Southgate seems to have made many changes to England way of playing now compared to their previous matches, England seems more aggressive in attacking and they even look braver in moving forward to attack in the current match, apart from that Southgate is more inclined to instruct their players for braver in holding the ball to balance fast play from Spain.
I think now It was time for Southgate to bring down their ace (Palmer) in the second half to make the difference to disrupt the Spanish defense later.

Kane is an unlucky player whether in Spurs or Bayern Munich. He cannot win anything even though he is a good player. Might this time his luck will change with England?
Spain scored earlier but England made some attempts and they were successful in getting the draw. This match could go to penalties!

Yup, nobody is denying it.  It's all luck...  But I still want England to win as it's gonna be hilarious with all the haters I'm seeing online.  It's so...  like..  I guess it's funny.  Grin Grin

And you're right, as I already said on paper England has one of the best squads in this year's Euros.  Maybe just behind France..?  If there's a squad that could pull a rabbit out of the hat, it's England.  Prepare to be surprised.
No one having any doubt about this could be hilarious if we have England as winners with this could be their first even big cup after 1966 world cup, but surely we will have serious war on social media which will be having no end until start of the next season leagues because things could be at his best for the haters and lovers of England soccer team.

Here I agree with England is surely having one of the best team and strongest teams on papers with their performance in ground has never been as up to their standard not it's less than one day and things are going very stressful for the England fans while they are going to have first won, or we are going to have second consecutive defeat for them, it's going to be interesting.

I don't think this game will lead to penalty shoot out because with the looks of things england actually aren't playing that much to even cause any damages to their opponent but I would not be surprised though if they would be manage to score since they gave been doing it since their race to the finals.
After trailing 1-0 to Spain, Gareth Southgate had to make several changes including making several rotations. Kane and Mainoo were sent off and replaced by Cole Palmer and Ollie Watkins, of course the results were very positive where Palmer didn't take long to find the goal. I thought England had been a bit better after they went behind and now the score had gone to 1-1.

Spain are certainly still very dangerous when they find opportunities, but the finishing on several occasions has not been in their favor. I think England need to concentrate fully on attack and improve their defense if they want to win, but of course it will be difficult because Spain is also strong in all areas.

But Spain team is likely to win this match today, .
Yes, you are right, because at the time of speaking Spain has just scored its first goal at 46 minutes, which is 1 minute after they began the second half by "Nico Williams", of which with this goal England is currently at a tight spot. Moreover, John Stones have just been given a yellow card together with Harry Kane, while, I also just noticed that Harry Kane have just been replaced by Ollie Watkins in other to prevent any further red card, which is likely to shorten their defense, as we still have more 30 minutes to finally rejoice who emerges winner, as I will really love to see this game end with a penalty kick, which is one beauty i always love with final match like this.

I think the match will end in a penalty shootout. However, England's performance is not very good. Even then, England managed to bring the match back to parity. I have to say this team is very lucky. In the 73rd minute, Cole Palmer's goal equalized the England team. Palmer scored a nice goal. The match is tied 1-1 after 80 minutes. Compared to the overall performance so far, Spain's players have been playing brilliantly. On the other hand, England's players are not able to create such opportunities. However, as the match is now tied at 1-1. England will try not to concede any more goals. Now England will play defensive strategy. The performance of Spain's players is very organized. But since England are playing defensively, it becomes more difficult for Spain's players to break England's defence.

England scored a goal right now, it's 1:1 at the moment. What an interesting and exciting match we see right now. Now is the 75th minute and the pressure is enormous on both teams. To be fair, I think that Spain is superior, they have the stamina and are pressing England but that's not everything, Spain is able to keep pressing till the end of the game, that's what makes them my favourite in this EURO.

I'm listening to the commentator and he stated a very fun and interesting thing - Did you know that Yamal, who gave the assist, became 17 years old yesterday? And Williams Nico, who scored the goal, became 22 years old 2 days ago.

How lucky England is every damned game? In my opinion, Spain plays much better and was already very close to the 2:0 but then there was one chance for Palmer and he scored with his 2. Ball touch. Now I'm curious if the winner will be determined in the next 15 minutes or if the game will go into extra time.

It was seen from the start of the match that Spain played very well with 70 percent ball possession. They played very attractively with tiki-taka and direct football. I am favorite for Spain to be the champions of Euro 2024 and have no doubts at all. Statistically Spain is much better than England. I saw that England experienced difficulties in several matches and they were lucky to win the match on penalties.
Now England have managed to score a goal through Cole Palmer! Wow this is really amazing. Very exciting match. But I think Spain will still win euro 2024.

The first half was very boring, but when Spain scored right at the beginning of the second half, it changed the course of the game. Despite Rodri coming off, Spain didn't compromise their game plan. England are trying to attack but they are not very effective. Saka is almost never in the game. Kane out, Watkins in. Let's see what happens now. If Spain scores the second goal, it's over.
It is strange that after Rodri's departure Spain played better, it seemed that Rodri's injury was more of a weakening of the Spanish national team, but it turned out to be the opposite. Lamin Yamal began to attack sharper, Spain had many more chances, Morata began to work more in defense and in general the Spanish national team began to play stronger. England is also trying to add in the course of the half and given the individual skill of the players, England have some chances, especially Bellingham, but I think England has not yet scored a goal.
Maybe it's a biased attitude, but I want Spain to win this Euro tournament.

The Spain - England match is very exciting. Spain is ahead 1-0 and is one step closer to the cup. They were the favorites for this cup from the very beginning.
England are trying to put pressure but they can't, Spain is playing really well.
England made a critical substitution and took Harry Kane off.

Lamal very very good tonight.
