I didn't see the game but from previous matches I've seen, there's something about them that kind of erks me. There a good finishers in the team but usually they leave most of it to Ronaldo and of a truth, he's not so clinical as he used to be. I least expected that they would depend on Bruno's goal alone because with how I heard the Slovakian side played, I feel they would have equalized the game.
Portugal for their standard should not be comfortable with just one goal especially with how many shots on goal they had. Imagine Spain literally spelling the name of Georgia by netting 7 goals, o expected same of them( Portugal).

There is no more regeneration in the Icelandic national team so now in their team there are no more potential players who can improve the team's performance, Iceland is now very weak so it's only natural if they slump.

I guess Turkey didn't put much effort to the game probably because they are topping their group D and a win or a draw or even a loss will still see them topping. Sometimes over confidence is not really cool else I'm sure they would have easily beat Armenia. They had the greater ball possession, goal attempts and even shots in goal, yet they seemed to struggle like you mentioned after that goal came in from A. Dashyan in the 49' minutes. That goal was all the motivation they needed but unfortunately, they had to equalize late in the 88'.
 Although I expected more from them especially as they have been on fire in previous games and even if they are topping now, they could well be removed by Croatia since they still have 2 more outstanding games to play and are sitting at 2nd place with 7 points at the moment.

Portugal squad happens to be one of the very best squad I could possibly think of. They're cooperative and have big names in a team. Martin Dubravka, the Slovakian goalkeeper, has just given up a goal. I thought it was supposed to be four goals, so why only one? Slovakia really tried for setting up an excellent show despite being trounced several times. Portugal labored hard to score just one goal, indicating that Slovakia is a formidable opponent. Portugal is unquestionably first in their group, which bodes well for the squad and indicates that the coach is willing to try new approaches.

 Belgium has been one of the best team in Europe for me because they have players like KDB, Lukaku (that's when he was inform) not to forget the Hazard brothers. So much love for those guys but at some point they all started playing like team that haven't played together for years. I don't know if they've all settled their grievances, because if you observe carefully in the last world cup they were all playing like two separate groups in one team but I believe they'd do better again the Azerbaijan, let's hope for a new beginning.
 I don't expect too many goals in this game but all I want to see is that great Belgium team of then. Another problem is the absence of KDB who has been the eyes in that midfield, just hope they'd take advantage of the fact that they're seen as the favorites over Azerbaijan in this game.

Turkey's performance is not that bad. Turkey was still able dominating the game even though it was almost lost. Turkey was will lead the group now. Croatia has played less than 5 games and i think that turkey can finish at the second position by the end of group stage.
Croatia became the strongest competitor for turkey. Turkey is still quite consistent at this moment even though it was getting draw against armenia but look at the stats. 1 point better than nothing but some players were playing so badly.

Turkey will face croatia soon. The same result as the previous match will happen. Croatia will win against turkey.  


The only problem was on its finishing. Turkey had been making numerous chances but the club could never properly finishing it to scores more goal against armenia.
Getting 1 point was not so bad for turkey. The club can still play by dominating its opponent. Turkey needs only to increase its consistently.
Some players played underperform today against armenia.

Tonight's game against Turkey was a disgrace. We barely got a draw. Only one or two players played well, the others were very bad. At this rate we will be eliminated.

It was an easy match for Croatia, they beat their opponents differently.
They will most probably be the leaders of the group.

Turkey's performance was horrible. They just can't make an excuse for this performance. Kuntz is responsible for this honestly and I believe he will be leaving the job soon as well. You just can't play this bad against an opponent which you are much better than on paper. They were nearly losing the game.

Fatih Terim can really take over once again as he is like the best candidate for the job now. Even if Turkey manage to qualify for Euro 2024 with this system I don't expect much thing from them there. They need a better team play than this.

Your way of thinking makes sense, when teams are already mathematically qualified they usually relax a bit and can do various tests to prepare for the main competition
But today, Portugal won again and are very comfortable in their group, they'll qualify without any surprises

And after the 4 macthes, I managed to win the bet hehehe, the multiple of 4 wins of: France, Spain, Scotland and Netherlands
I'm going to use the same strategy for the next round  
Or maybe I'll take an even bigger risk with the profit I've made and place a five-win bet  

It was definitely a shameful night for us, there was absolutely no reason for us to do something like this and no need to keep on getting a draw. The roster was built horribly and it was one of the worst we have seen. The team itself is much better, but do you think that a manager who is incapable of picking the best players would be able to have a good tactic? Of course not, it was a terrible one and we ended up doing terrible. Armenia wasn't in our level, Turkiye should have beaten them with a big margin and because we didn't had a manger that was proper, and didn't have any proper tactics, and didn't pick the best players, we ended up getting a draw.

The Turkish national team played a very superior football against Armenia in the first half of the match. Because the Armenian national team was under a lot of pressure, their goalkeeper kept trying to cool the game down by moving slowly. The referee showed him a yellow card, but he could have given him a red card for being so annoying. Also, I think Stephen Kuntz chose a wrong tactic against Armenia, he chose to play without strikers. I think he could have played this match with at least 3 strikers because our opponent was weaker than us. I think the loss of points tonight is a big blow to Stephen Kuntz's credibility.

Modric is a great player and it will be hard to replace him. There were talks about him leaving the national team after the UEFA Nations league final in June, but he decided to stay for the EURO 2024. Maybe if Croatia has won the gold medal in the Nations league, he would have retired but he is determined to win a gold medal. That's the only thing that's missing in his great career.

A nice clean shot from Fernandes and he was able to beat the goalkeeper Martin Dubravka. This is another game to add to the many he has been in and scored important goals when his team was under pressure and helped his team win it.

Croatia is still really good and with another win today they came closer to Turkey for that first place. This was a one way street and it was expected from Croatia to win easily. Modric still carrying the team and i still wonder for how long he will play for the national team. If he retires it will be a serious problem for Croatia

I remember the times when Croatia was struggling against teams like Armenia. Teams like Armenia are not strong opponents, but if opposing team take them for granted, they can surprise. Thankfully Croatia managed to get passed that kind of football and now games against opponents like Armenia or Latvia are usually a one-way street like tonight. I'm pretty sure that Croatia will finish this qualifications as the winner of group D and that Modric will have a chance to say goodbye to the national team at the UEFA EURO 2024.
