In the other match in the group, Croatia is about to get a comfortable win against Latvia. Croatia, which closed the first half ahead with 3 goals in the first half, has now brought the situation to 5-0. If Turkey loses this match, their chances of getting out of the group may become difficult
I'm watching the Croatia-Latvia game and it's a one way match. Latvia players can't do anything and this 5-0 result only show what is the difference in quality. I'm pretty surprised that Turkey is losing against Armenia. I know that Turkey is not one of the best national teams in the world, but I expected them to win. But then again, Armenia managed to beat Wales so I guess they are not an outsider they once were.
EDIT: Just as I posted this Turkey managed to score an equalizer.
Stefan Kuntz is actually not a good coach. He was not brought in charge of the national team even though there are better coaches in Turkey who can do the job.Success does not come with a foreign coach because it is difficult to talk to the players one on one and tell them exactly what he can do.Turkey is a young and talented national team but there is a disagreement among the players. There is no lack of experience because they all play in good teams in Europe. I think there was a purely tactical reason for such a result.
Even though Turkey scored the equalizing goal, they should have won this match. It might be a bit difficult for them to get out of the group in the top 2 because if you can't beat Armenia at home, how will you manage to beat them away?
