Croatia are going to take on Latvia and Armenia with an interval of 2 days. I think they will collect 6 points from these matches. But this might still not be enough to take the lead in the group. Because at the same time Turkey are hosting Armenia in 3 days. I expect nothing less than 3 points for Turkey in this match.

Turkey already beat them once away. I guess that this home game would be more comfortable. But still they would be the leader with an extra match compared to Croatia. Honestly I don't think that Turkey would finish Group D as the first. Because they already lost to Croatia home and probably this might happen again in their other match too.

Bump, we will see the next qualifier match in the next two days.

But I'm really interested to watch Slovakia vs Portugal in September 9 and Greece vs Netherlands in September 8. Slovakia was behind Portugal in Group J, but Slovakia is a heavy underdog here since the odds for Slovakia to win is @8.00. Same happen in Greece vs Netherlands, currently Greece's points is higher than Netherlands, but Greece is underdog since the odds for Greece to win is @7.00.

Scotland are doing surprisingly well in the qualifiers indeed. They have been able to defeat Spain and Norway both so far which are the toughest opponents for them in my opinion. Norway are also surprisingly unwell by the way. But maybe it was due to Haaland's absence at the same time. Right after he returned he scored 3 goals in 2 matches.  Smiley  But of course as long as the team effort isn't improved he can't save the team by himself. But there must be still a rule that I know from the previous tournament.

The first four of the best third-placed teams must also be able to move on in the tournament. But Norway need to make a good improvement in their results to be one of them.

The main highlight of their performance so far has been the win against Spain on 28th March at the Hampden Park in Glasgow. Scotland won by 2-0, with both goals being scored by the 26-year old Manchester United forward Scott McTominay. This win gave them a major boost earlier on, and now it will be extremely difficult for Spain to overtake them. Anyway, Group A is extremely tough. In addition to Spain and Scotland, they also have Norway and Georgia. Even Cyprus is capable of doing a few upsets. So in the end, some of the good teams will fail to qualify for the main event.

Scotland is a big soccer fan country, I remember the time they were in a World Cup, I can't remember what year it was, but I liked how the Scots did it, they showed a good level of soccer, I would like to see this team in the Euro, And it's not for nothing, but I would also like to see a Norway with a Haaland at their best, because it's a machine at City but the Viking must do very well in his team, plus he always loves me I have liked how these teams play, Denmark and Norway are countries that have high-level football, or at least that is what I have seen on a few occasions when they do it well.

I am intrigued by Cyprus, it is a country that I would also like to see in the Euro, on behalf of Spain, because it does not worry me much, I have seen the performance of the Spanish team and now that they are without Luis Enrique who is like so spiteful, I say spiteful, because they did not bring in any player who plays for Real Madrid, and I believe that a country consists of all its best players, not just Barcelona, and I think that they paid dearly for that in the World Cup in Qatar, where He left some pro cracks out.

In this Euro, in general terms, I would like to see how Portugal is performing, they have a new coach, and now CR7 is more connected than ever with their football, he is a player who is also very motivated, they have high morale, without a doubt someone will be the captain of that team, I don't see Bruno with the maturity to shoulder the team, nor Joao Félizx and also another one who is earning his place in the team is Pepe, because he himself said that while CR7 is playing soccer he will be too, he will not leave him alone at any time, his retirement will be when CR7 does, I think that this is the gesture of a great friend, few people are like that, but these are the things that "the bug" achieves, another team that I want to see its performance and that bothers me a lot is Germany and England, I want to see how they will match up, this Euro will be very good, personally I am not going to miss a single game, because it is unforgivable.

Yes, Portugal is so lucky that it only has a group containing a national team which can be said to be far from perfect, even when they face Portugal they have to be willing to lose because so far Portugal is the strongest in Group J.
Portugal has a very good opportunity, which can easily qualify in the current qualifying round.

When talking about Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Croatia, it is clear that they are different from Portugal and the four national teams must really work optimally to reach the top of the standings.

In these two matches it was clear who was the favorite and could win the match.
I bet that England and the Netherlands can easily win.
Don't count on Netherlands too much. They are a declining team. Doesn't have any young players coming up and with every passing year their quality of play goes down. The Dutch were always known for the lack of sportsmanship on field and now they have become even more boorish. They believe that by indulging in brutal tackling and fouls, they can make up for the lack of quality in their game. And from what I can see, it hasn't worked that well. Netherlands is at the 4th place, behind France, Greece and Republic of Ireland. I sincerely hope that Gibraltar will be able to overtake them.
Yeah true, Belgium and Netherlands are the two nations that are having trouble with their new generations, they were once great but that is not all that true anymore right now because they lack stars. Belgium had Curtois and Lukaku and De Bruyne, and expected a lot from them but they started to decline over time, and right now Netherlands are having the same trouble and by the looks of it we could say that they did alright for just a while but not going to do that fine for the long term.

France is the team with the new golden generation, and they could end up getting a win as well, I expect fully that they will win this cup, if they do not win it then I will be pretty shocked to be fair since they are the best team.

Scotland played very well in the qualifying round for Euro 2024 and Scotland managed to lead the group A standings with the most points and at the same time have a very large difference in points from second place.
Scotland, France and England top the Groups A, B and C with 12 points each.

No less strong than Portugal, who are in group J, also performed very well and led the Group J standings in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Portugal move looks a bit easier in Group J, as it joins a weaker country. They managed to wipe out and secure perfect points in four qualifying matches, and finished first in Group J with 12 points. On the other hand Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Croatia still have three games remaining, this could provide an opportunity for them to lead the standings.

Match 5 The next qualifying round will start on September 7, there are two exciting matches to look forward to. Netherlands vs Greece and Ukraine vs England, I think the Netherlands and England can get full points in those matches.

Honestly "who" will go doesn't really matter when you consider that the top is already decided give or take. Most people know that France and England are the best, and there are some other good teams too, and unless one of them just loses and shocks the whole world, we are going to see them do fine.

This means that which teams will be at the groups and not be able to go further is not really a point of discussion to me, it will be teams that the big teams will beat, we are just deciding which teams the big ones will beat at group stages at this point. So the qualifiers do not really matter to me, I do not consider this to be that much of a big deal just yet, but when the time comes and teams go out of group stages at the real thing, that's when the fun starts.

I think I agree mostly with what you said, but it somehow denies the fact that we have seen big surprises in the past, whether it was the qualification for World Cups or European Cups. The big shockers are not very common and that is the reason why they are called shockers of course, but when you take the World Cup in Qatar I think everyone was shocked and excited at the same time when Argentina started with a loss against Saudi Arabia. While many of the games are boring, we have already seen a few qualifier results that weren't really expected. Look at Spain or the Netherlands right now. Let them have one or two more of those games with a lucky punch against them and they are in serious trouble.

Scotland are surprising leading in a group that consists of European giants like Spain though they've played two games more than that Spanish side but having won all their Euro 2024 qualifying matches, the Scottish side has a good chance of qualifying to the finals of the competition. Spain has played two qualifying matches which they won one of them and lost the other but still has a chance to come back and win the group. France, England and Portugal are the other teams that have won all four matches and are topping their respective groups

The next round of matches will start in less than 2 weeks from now. Group A is going to be very interesting, as Scotland is now leading the points able with 12 points. Georgia at second place has only 4 points and Spain is far below. For Spain, the matches in this round are against Georgia and Cyprus, who are relatively weak opponents. Scotland on the other hand has one match against Cyprus. I am not expecting any major changes in the standings after this round. Spain may get to the second spot though. BTW, Group B is perhaps the toughest one. Netherlands is currently at 4th place and this time they have matches against Greece and Ireland.

Yeah, but Spain has played two games less than Scotland so there are six more points for them to win. It's weird that they have lost to Scotland with clear 2-0 result. That may cost them in the end if Scotland doesn't slip up against some other teams.

For me personally the group D is more interesting as Croatia is in that group. They also have two games less than the other nations because they were playing Nations league final. Croatia is facing Armenia and Latvia which are weakest teams, but Croatia has a history of slipping up against weakest teams.

Yes, I heard the news that he was forced to resign, I dont know. Honestly, he didnt have great results (actually very disappointing) but it is not his fault. Certainly he is a good coach, but maybe changing in this case could help.

LOL.. agreed. Roberto Mancini has reasons to feel bitter. What he can do, if the players are not coming through? After many of the senior players retired, Italy was not able to maintain the team balance. Luciano Spalletti has been named as Mancini's replacement, and I am not sure what he will be able to achieve. Spalletti has managed teams like Zenit Saint Petersburg, AS Roma, Udinese, Inter Milan and Napoli in the past and comes with tons of experience from all around the world. Let's see whether he will be able to achieve something that Mancini failed to do.

Well, the truth is that before these things I am very concerned about the Italian team, I am not Italian, but for me I see this team with a unique style of football and the truth is that I am very supportive of the Italian team, for the moment the team is passing I hope they can quickly find the solution to this, it is true the veteran players left, and it is a pity, because the veteran players are the ones who teach those who are new, and not having veteran players is not good, just seeing the Spain of Luis Enrique In Qatar it was something that everyone should learn that you shouldn't start a soccer team only with young people, because they don't have the necessary experience, and on the field you need experience.

The Italian sismre players have maintained a good level of football, in fact this has been demonstrated in Serie A, and although things have not worked out in some teams, this Italian team promises, and I think they should go all out, because they must take off That they don't go to the World Cup, it's time to do things right.

Spalletti to take over as new boss of Italy’s European champions

Quote
ROME: Luciano Spalletti, former coach of Napoli, has been appointed as new national coach of Italy by the federation after the unexpected resignation of Roberto Mancini last Sunday, less than a year before the start of Euro 2024.

An FIGC statement said: “The Italian Football Federation announces that it has reached an agreement with Luciano Spalletti for the position of coach of the Italian national team.

“The Tuscan coach will assume his position from September 1, 2023 and the official presentation will take place on the occasion of the Azzurri meeting, scheduled for the first days of September, at the Federal Technical Center of Coverciano.”

Spalleti has signed a contract for the next three years, until 2026.

Source: http://keirradnedge.com/2023/08/18/spalletti-to-take-over-as-new-boss-of-italys-european-champions/

The truth is that this solution does not seem bad to me, because if Mancini left the national team it was because he had his reasons, which are respected, now Spalleti can do many things, in fact his responsibility is very great, he has one of the teams that practices they founded football, this is something that you have to consider, what you have on your men right now should not disappoint, you will come across your first test that is the Euro in Germany, and always for me Italy is the faortio in all competitions, and the The way things have happened with this team, well, thank you that they already do a good job.

There are many expectations that are expected of this team, since some have not stopped participating actively so that the Italian team always goes as far as possible, their football has improved remarkably, and it is time for it to be shown to the world, for me it They will do well with this coach and it seems good to me that he is putting his chest to this challenge.

Roberto Mancini resigned as italy's national coach today in a complete surprise. the italian football federation 'figc' announced on sunday noon that the 58-yo RM submitted his resignation late saturday night. the italian federation wants to announce a successor already 'in the coming days' - due to the 'important and tightly timed mandatory matches in the qualifiers.' Didier Deschamps become best manager for France national team since 2012 manage The Blues he was success winning World Cup trophy and lead until final stage in last World Cup. French Football Federation or FFF keep believing with Didier Deschamps after has issues will replace by Real Madrid former Zidane. France national team have bigger expectation in EURO 2024 after last time become the winner for long time and Didier Deschamps have been ten years as France manager never winning yet with EURO trophy. Current France national team squad seems has chance for winning EURO 2024 but Didier Deschamps must be selective when calling their squad.

Didier Deschamps is the same guy who gave the excuse of illness for the defeat against Argentina during finals of Qatar 2022. I guess the age is catching up with him. He has been managing France ever since 2012, and I believe it is time to inject some fresh blood into the French team. France had performed poorly last time, and this time they should aim at winning the trophy. So far they have been in terrific form and in Group B they have won all the 4 matches they have played so far (including wins against Greece, Ireland and Netherlands).

Didier Deschamps has been one of the best managers of the France national team over the years and what's he's been able to achieve with the team will keep him as the manager of the France national team longer than we expected.
Currently France is one of the most sophisticated teams not just in Europe but in the world in terms of quality and that's why there'll be much expectations from the nation's football federation abd the fans in general. A result that's less than taking France to the semi finals of 2024 Euros championship, will see him sacked as the national team manager
