I also didn't expect this match to be this interesting. Because Spain actually became much braver after they were 1 goal behind. And immediately scored 2 goals in a period of 4 minutes. Things are getting heated up. Spain was behind by 0-1, but then two quick goals put them ahead by 2-1. I am quite perplexed by the own-goal by Jules Koundé. The shot from Daniel Olmo Carvajal was clearly missing the goalpost. But then Koundé diverted the ball with his foot to score an own-goal. Shit happens. This edition of Euro has given me only heartburn. Lost so many bets. Looks like Spain will lose today and I will end up with a loss of BTC0.002. Randal Kolo Muani scored in 8th minute, and on top of that one of the Spanish players (Jesús Navas) already got a Yellow card. Live win probability in Google shows 58% chance for a French win against 16% for the Spaniards. Spain still have the majority possession, so I am slightly more hopeful. Spain definitely plays a great team football there is no doubt about that, the different amount of players who scored goals for the team provides a proof for that too, and that is the most important part. I think we should realize the fact that we can't make it work some other way.
I think the most important part would be the fact that we are going to see Spain win the whole thing with a team football and not just some defensive boring thing. And on the other hand, I prefer to consider Spain as the team with the strongest attack. Even though Spain's defense is actually just as strong. but France seems to have more value in their defense. A fierce match will really happen. And I would likely prefer to bet on Spain winning. because they are the most reliable team at this Euro. I am always satisfied with their performance in every match they have played at this Euro.The probability of Spain winning is still higher than France based on data from existing analysis, but I personally am not so sure about that. For me, France has simply been too weak in all of its games so far and Spain has played well in general.
Apart from Griezmann, France has more talented players in the squad. Moreover, Griezmann is not in good form now, that's why Griezmann is not given a place in the starting XI today. Griezmann's absence from the squad will not have an impact on France's performance.
Spain are not getting Pedri and Carvajal with the squad today. Carvajal is an excellent defender. I would say Spain beat Germany because of Carvajal. Carvajal made two excellent saves. Moreover, Spain's midfield would have been stronger if Pedri was in the squad.

This tournament so far has been quite tough for the bookmakers. Matches were very closely fought and difficult to predict. What you have pointed out (very similar odds for the two teams) is something that we have noticed throughout this tournament. In a way, sometimes I feel that the Euro matches are more competitive than those in the FIFA world cup.
