It cannot be denied that Turkey played well, even in the final minutes Turkey tried to continue attacking, threatening the Dutch goalkeeper several times. The performance of the Turkish players was very good in the match against the Netherlands, in the first half Turkey managed to score a goal with an assist provided by Arda Guler. However, unfortunately in the second half the Dutch managed to score 2 goals against Turkey, making Turkey lose, while the Dutch managed to advance to the semifinals.
Turkey's performance declined in the second half, especially after the goal back from the Netherlands, this shows that Turkey's mentality was not as good as the Netherlands' so they could turn things around.
This was quite a fierce match and indeed both teams showed their best performance and indeed the Netherlands deserved more to qualify for the semifinals.
In the England vs Switzerland match, England was the winner. England had a hard time in this match. Switzerland managed to take the lead in the 75th minute, but 5 minutes later, they conceded a goal to make it 1-1. When the score remained unchanged in extra time, the match went to penalties. England, who did not miss any of their penalties, managed to be the winner of the round. Akanji missed the first penalty and Switzerland bid farewell to the tournament.
Even though they have qualified for the semifinals, England's performance is not that good, especially England's attack line which has not shown its sharpness since the start of this tournament. I am quite doubtful of England if they are not able to recover to be even better in the semifinals against the Netherlands.
