The nightmare is on again for Roma.  Cheesy  Because they have a matchup against Bodo/Glimt in the quarter finals now. As you can remember the group stage, Roma had a game that was no different than a nightmare. Bodo/Glimt just completely erased Roma by 6-1. I wonder whether Roma will have a similar result again. But I don't think so. Roma must have learned their lesson already. I wait for them to be fully ready against Bodo/Glimt and even eliminate them.

Roma faced one of the easiest teams they could have faced. This was the reason why conference league was created to begin with, all these teams that would have hard time in any other cup, could at least face each other in the conference league and would have a chance to win it all. Roma would probably have hard time being out of the group stage in europa, or at the very best case would have a chance to lose in the first elimination phase.

Instead, they are here and trying to win. That is exactly what happened to Marseille and that is why they are here. All in all I would assume that it is easier for teams to try to win something lower, instead of losing something higher.
Glimt played some good games, they got a draw against Roma in the group stage once and won vs them with 6 goals earlier. This happened between October and November 2021 when Roma was in its worst days.
For April game, odds aren't that big between the two teams and it don't show a clear favourite. Nowadays Roma might look better indeed but Glimt shouldn't be underestimated.

I think AS Roma will see this one off, they have a better squad and a experience coach in Jose mourinho so I don't see any reason not qualifying for this one.
Leicester will also edge psv in the quarter final, they are having a bad season in the premier League this season winning this competition and avoiding relegation is all in their mind right now because winning this competition will send them to Europa League so they will do everything in there power to win and if that happens this season will be a great season for them.
Roma didn't have a very good experience with Bodø Glimt, in the group stage they beat Roma 6-1, in fact it was just a terrible defeat. And in the return match there was a draw 2:2, that is, Roma could not beat them never. It is difficult to say how much the situation has changed now, but I do not expect these matches to be easy for Roma.

Well, what's surprising is that considering the level of each team I wouldn't dare to say if it's easier or not, each team has a fixed strategy when they go out to play, it's previously managed by their coach and when they change, the players have They have to have high empathy so that they can understand each other.

For me, Roma has great potential and Mou makes a great strategy for the team every time, perhaps many do not see the genius that he has, but since Mou directed Madrid when his biggest rival was Pep Guardiola, things did not happen for having other conditions at that time, but currently the game conditions are others that are given to be taken advantage of.

I feel that Mourinho’s effect is clearly showing off on Roma player’s, and if he’s given more transfer funds then he’ll be able to transform Roma further. Lastly Roma has strong chances of winning this competition, because of Mourinho’s experience and it’ll be interesting to see which tactics he’ll apply to win this competition.
Now recently AS Roma clearly showing some strong comeback after having very bad time in Serie A and here in UEFA Europa Conference League currently they are the strongest team to win this competition even their match against Vitesse were not as their standard but now recent results showing some good qualify, and hopefully they can win this with this if Mourinho is going to stay here for some more time than surely they are going to be big threat for next season in Italian League because lately he is doing some good now need few better players which can bring some more attraction and better performance.

In this season we have some good things in Italian League and with AS Roma this could be more interesting because this is important for any league you have six or seven teams with equal quality and skilled players.

today also the quarterfinals in the conference league were drawn. as one of the most interesting matches will be the two games between leicester and psv eindhoven.
first and second legs will take place on 07.04. and 14.04.

Leicester vs PSV will probobly bring the most quality in this round and will be a match to watch. Bodo/glimt vs Roma will probobly be a rough match for Roma. We all know how good Bodo/glimt is playing in the last few seasons and this season aswell. I also think Roma got lucky against Vitesse

I think Roma can't be happy about the draw. Bodo/Glimt isn't easy opponent for them, it's least what I could say. In Norway, Roma were destroyed  6:1, in Rome game ended 2:2. Yeah, on paper Roma is better, but I'm not confident about them getting through.
Agree that Leicester - PSV is best game in this round and I'm nacking PSV here. Also, I would love to see Slavia getting through Feyenoord.
I don't know what strategy Mourinho uses but Roma struggles with more than one goal and if the try harder it often ends with two and this gives high chances for a draw game. Roma has good defense but most of this clubs also have quality attack. I wish Roma could take the lead and maintain it against Bodo/Glimt.

Leicester - PSV if the game went english i would have preferred it more. but it's going to be either a draw game or PSV takes the aggregate lead in the first leg

But Roma won 1-0 in at Vitesse home and drew 1-1 at home, ending the tie with Roma 2-1 Vitesse.
In this way, Roma qualified for the quarter finals of the Europa Conference League, because of the goal already in compensation, at 90+1 minutes.

I agree that Roma have a better team, to have performed much better than they did against Vitesse. But still in the competition.
You're right, they're still in the competition, besides, it's not the Roma that Totti was one day but for now what they're achieving makes the fans think of them, but I have a doubt, if in the next commitments that Roma has to lose? Would you be outside already?

I don't know how they could have lost in games that are fundamental, but nevertheless I think that now this is a new Roma, and of course they have a great defense which is the main characteristic of the Italian teams, for me if it continues like this Roma will give the good surprise.

This is a bad result for Roma. I would be happy if they could have won at least 2-1. Vitesse is a weak team if we compare them with Roma. I lost money in this match.
Roma's next round opponent is Bodo / Glimt. Hopefully Roma will have no problem winning this match.
The PSV team dominated the entire 90 minutes against Copenhagen and had a remarkable 4-0 win. Basically they were able to score 4 goals due to the weak defense of Copenhagen.

Don't forget about Marseille vs PAOK.
They may not be the teams at the same level as we knew them a few years ago, but they are still good teams. And they are teams that have a very similar quality level, so it will be a very balanced game. I can't bet on a winner, and I wouldn't even be surprised if the game had to go into overtime.

A part Marseille, well not very sure too, all the games are hard to predict its outcomes and of course Leicester - PSV is the best in term of teams quality but the worst to figure out the winner. The odds in these games are x2-3 with a slight advantage for Leicester, Roma and Feyenoord

Vitesse were doing really good at carrying the game to extra time until Roma scored the equalizer finally. And it must be very devastating for Vitesse after all that effort. Roma continued in the ECL thanks to Tammy Abraham's goal in the stoppage time. But I didn't like their general performance even a bit. This was not like the real Roma. They performed like a much worse team in this game. If Roma want to play big here and win the title, they must improve their performance a lot. They can't make do with this level.
Roma isn't the same as it used to be years ago and Mourinho wasn't able to make it a decent team again, they are better than the other teams of lower leagues, that's why their chances are better here but I won't be surprised if they got kicked at some point.
Now except PSV, all teams which were leading in the first leg passed to the next stage although some of them lost their matches yesterday or got a draw.

The problem is they are not just performing badly in Europe they are also now slipping away in Serie A. Roma and Mourinho just looked so good together at the start of the season and when you saw the young strikeforce in Tammy Abraham also enjoying themselves you could really appreciate it but somehow everything could not keep together.

They should really be one of the favorites here,,, well Spurs should have been but  Lips sealed
