But United has a very poor preparation due to the loss in the competition against Liverpool, you would normally say that will also be in the heads of the players.
I doubt this will be the case for Manchester United. Their defeat will pass and it will be a lesson for them in order to not repeat it. Real Betis is a good team and they will annoy ManU for sure but the latter is better and I expect the red devils to pass personally.
I hope the same with you. at least we must not forget that the first leg of the match will be held at Old Trafford. And of course MU as the host must be able to beat Real Betis.
But there is something that needs to be taken into consideration, Real Betis is able to hold Real Madrid to a draw in the league. And as we know that Liverpool even suffered a big defeat by Real Madrid. and MU also suffered a big defeat by Liverpool. but Real Betis being able to hold Real Madrid to a draw is certainly worth considering.
But apart from all that, in terms of the quality of the game, I think MU will be able to win in that match. MU certainly does not want to disappoint their own supporters. So MU will try to show that they are still in their best performance.
This is a good observation and I think that everyone is now sharply thinking about possible outcomes of the game between Liverpool and Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League. But I think the win of Liverpool against Manchester United should not be overemphasized as well as the win of Real Madrid against Liverpool should also not be overemphasized. Real Madrid wins 2-5 one time in time 50 years maybe. Everything worked out for them on that day and that is just not a norma day then.
But I agree that Manchester United will recover from that quickly. They haven't lost much in the Premier League, it is only the three points. I don't expect that defeat to have any influence on their performance in the Europa League.
Betis is a difficult team to play against as sometimes you don't really know what to expect. Their goal will be to not concede goals against Manchester United in the first leg. They won't have high expectations in regards to winning. I think that is what they want to do in the second leg at home.
Now for everyone who likes to place bets, I found an interesting graphic about the current Europa League competition:
I sometimes like to bet on a 15 minutes window whether a goal is scored or not. This is quite an interesting distribution, but it is what most of us know already.
What I found interesting is that in about every 6th game there is a goal in extra time. It is not an overwhelming number, but it is a number that I thought could be slightly less. I wonder what the reason is why there are so many goals after the break. That's the one that catches the eye here. I think I have seen such a statistic before and I know that this is the case, but I wonder what the reason is for that. Probably psychologically where the teams start slow early into the game, but give everything right after halftime.
