Barcelona are going to be my favourite side in their matchup against Manchester United. They are already favoured by bookies as well. Both of these teams are the closest candidates for the Europa League title at the same time. Because of that it isn't good to see one of them saying goodbye to it already in this round. Barcelona have shown a really poor performance against big opponents so far. It was the main reason why they were eliminated in the Champions League as well.

Xavi will need to focus on this problem during this break. If he finds out how he can end this then they would play very strongly against Manchester United and even control the game in both legs. Manchester United are already an inconsistent team and I'm not much positive about them to fix this in the other half of the season. Barcelona have much more effective attacking players than them in the first place. Lewandowski just needs to break his bad luck against big opponents this season.

Barcelona still not yet in the favorite for UEFA Europe League trophy because they have heavy match against Manchester United at play off round, current bad performance facing with bigger team I doubt chance for Barcelona can win against with Manchester United and not really sure with Barcelona chance can lead to next round.

Early have to see big match at Europe League between Barcelona vs Manchester United because I think excited if both team meet at final stage than play off round, but still have many big top teams left on Europe League from Juventus, Arsenal and the historical team with EUFA Europe League trophies Sevilla.

Both are favourites, but Barcelona and Manchester United must beat each other to go further in the Europa League. The Barcelona vs Manchester United match should have been more exciting in the quarter-finals or final, but the drawing results brought them together earlier than expected.
The odds for Barcelona and Manchester United are still 50:50, it is very difficult to predict who will win this match. I hope Barcelona can beat Manchester United. As Per Manchester United, results is all that matters, winning the Europa League under Erik Ten Hag will bring a bit of a big boost in every single Manchester United player's. I hope they win it and qualifies for the Champions League next season.

Barcelona was finding it difficult to win their games in Champions league and now in the Europa league I'm still wondering how it is possible for Barcelona to win the Europa League when their are other clubs that can be a problem to them. Barcelona is only trying in laliga to win the league,  that was why they couldn't maintain better position in the Champions league.  What happened to Barcelona in the Champions League  might still happent the Europa League.

indeed the Manchester United players who are members of the national team performed quite well at this world cup event and it was an astonishing achievement they made with the national team in bringing their country through to the round of 16.  We also see the Barcelona players who defended their country in this world cup like de Jong and several other players, they also appeared very impressive because they managed to make a big contribution to their national team. besides that the match between barcelona and manchester united will be presented like a fake final because these two teams are inhabited by star players who are of good quality. but for Manchester United they have just lost Ronaldo, of course this will be a bit of a problem for Manchester United front line when they face Barcelona later.

So far this is first meet from both of teams after changed coaches so there is no recent statistics as reference to predict who is the winner of this match but Manchester United in the last two season had good records while against Spanish teams that they only lose once from 4 matches so maybe this indicated Manchester United know how to beat Spanish teams including Barcelona but these records is not guaranteed will makes Manchester United will overcomes Barcelona because it depend on their situations when they playing and because playoff matches hasn't begin yet so i will assume Barcelona and Manchester United had equal chances to qualified to the next round

But it's also good that we saw these two teams from different leagues meet early, that means we can see between the two teams who will challenge for the Europa League final with Arsenal currently the strongest candidate to reach the final, but it is also possible for other teams because this is just an opinion based on the statistics of each team

There are so many big clubs in the european league. Barcelona has a very good statistic against MU caused by it was always winning when it faces MU. The only problem is we didn't know what's gonna be the result. We can't also underestimate MU in this case caused by MU has so many great players. it has also the same chance to beat barcelona. I remember when barcelona against inter in the UCL. inter has not become favourite like MU.

You cannot be counting Barcelona as favourites to win the Europa League when they have not overcome Manchester United that is a big challenge for them. If you want to count favourites, it will.be fine you mention both of them because anyone that won between Manchester United and Barcelona may likely get to the finals of the Europa League for this season. @Slow death they’re up against Manchester United player’s like Casemiro who single handedly won Brazil the match, then there’s Rashford and Fernandes who have rediscovered their form. Further keeping this in mind I’m surprised to see that people expect Barcelona to win their fixture’s against Manchester United so easily, because currently I feel that both the team’s have more or less the same advantage.

I don't think so either because apart from Arsenal and Barcelona there are also other top opponents in the Europa league this season who are capable of winning, teams like Juventus and even Manchester United will definitely be tough contenders for the trophy but as an Arsenal fan I will be supporting my team to win it in the end which I guess should be understandable lol.

As long as Barcelona haven't made it past the playoffs, I will never favor them to be in the Europa League final. Manchester United is not to be underestimated, so currently both teams have the same chance to qualify for the last 16.
