The match is almost over now and Roma is still behind and even the score is 0-2 where it looks like Robert Andrich's goal is the kill of the game in today's match because looking at the current situation where even though Roma keep trying, their attacks are always interrupted in defense. I don't think Leverkusen will score any more goals.

It seems like Leverkusen is still too strong for Roma and indeed in this match it can be seen that Leverkusen's quality is still quite good and more mature in terms of attack schemes compared to Roma.
It seems that the Europa League has been confirmed for my bet to go well because the multi I did where betting on both clubs to score in the match between Atalanta and Marseille and Leverkusen's win ended with a profit.

The second half is clearly about Leverkusen. They're training the Roma team and not playing against them. The Roma team went abruptly cold in the second half resulting in several counter attacks by Leverkusen and they've been rewarded with an extra goal to their advantage. I don't really know who to blame for that second goal, but I think the goal keeper slightly lost concentration. I'm deeply annoyed with Roma's pattern of play this second half, they're always sending the bag back and stressing the defense. The midfield is clearly not working anymore and the forwards are receiving little or no support to make efforts towards goal. I think the recent changes by De Rossi is really converting. The midfield seems to be waking up now, but they're now pressing too forward, leaving their defense porus. Leverkusen close to recording a clear win in Rome.

Roma was depressed by the first goal scored by Wirtz in the first half. I don't know what happened that Roma allowed Leverkusen to take over the midfield which is a problem for them to cope with in the match.

Bayer Leverkusen played brilliantly in the first half but could only score one goal. They could have made up the difference. Many clear chances were missed. For Roma, the result in the first half was good. Bayer Leverkusen played almost a one-goal game. They could have scored 3-4 goals. They can look for these missed goals in the second half. Unfortunately, they are playing the German champion that is yet to lose any match in all competitions this season. This record is not something you can easily achieve in European football and it is not all about luck that Bayern Leverkusen achieved it. Now they are leading AS Roma by one goal in the first half, I can assure you that the best Roma can get in this match is a draw and that will still be to the advantage of the German side who will be playing at home in the second leg.
