Bayern Leverkusen crowning a super season, and winning the Bundesliga with a 4-0 game against Werder Bremen, now they can fully focus on the Europa League and also saves some players in the Bundesliga game.

No one can imagine this amazing season for Leverkusen at the start of the season. The europa League can be the cherry on top of a magnificent season for the club.
It seems not only 4-0 but 5-0 after Florian Wirtz scored 1 additional score in the final minutes.
In today's match it became a very impressive history for Leverkusen throughout the season to break the dominance of Bayern Munich with success that was very worthy.

at this time Leverkusen is a little more comfortable because of the remaining 5 matches it will not be possible to pursue Leverkusen points even Bayern Munich must admit that Xabi forces are more powerful and after this Xabi has a lot of space to really focus on the European League match to get rid of West Ham and that will be very easy for Leverkusen when competing at home.
Leverkusen became the strongest candidate in the European League this time after the bad performance of Klopp team when defeat in the first leg after that defeat in the EPL match.
Leverkusen players become very confident if the European League title is very close and this must be fought for for the success of Leverkusen history.

I don't think kloop consider europa league as unimportant trophy and it's an important one just like the EPL, but Klopp made the biggest mistake by starting Salah from the bench which was destroying the tempo from the club and i can be considered a blunder by Liverpool, no doubt that if atalanta was destroying liverpool with so many goals in the first leg. The second leg is gonna be even tougher than before considering that if liverpool will not able to perform better than before. . Things may not be going so well if Liverpool keeps doing the same shit.
The situation is currently unpredictable, and I am confident that it will remain so until the season's final match. Arsenal currently leads the competition, but who knows if it will continue to struggle against Chelsea in the future and im hoping that there will be a miracle to happen with chelsea to prevent arsenal in getting three points.
I am hoping that Chelsea will be able to prevent Arsenal from getting a good result this season but yeah since arsenal as the hardest fixtures compared to the other teams like city and liverpool. The city must win the competition. Liverpool and Arsenal will not win the EPL.
The chance remains there because Manchester City continues to win games and it most likely until the last match of the season, which is also putting pressure on Arsenal to win against its opponent for the title race soon.
Liverpool on the other hand has experienced a push ahead in their stance since Klopp joined the team. They have been impactful in all areas of contests they find themselves. They've pulled through series of finals and have lifted a number of trophies too. The manager has been a positive addition to them and it's understandable if the club can't let go of him yet. This season, he's aimed for a number of trophies too, first when they took on Chelsea in the EFL finals, definitely the boss was charged to win again.

The European contests too is there. He's been able to put the team in the spotlight which they need to excel. The players he's worked with are definitely improving in their abilities too. Just like Pep in City, Klopp is been a savior to Liverpool and they'd definitely have to get to some greater heights before he exits the team soon. His exit from the team would definitely have some impacts in the team's performance ahead either positively or negatively. It's only best to avoid the negative effects.

He's been able to set up the right team with every needed criteria in place. But still, it's not a determinant that any bad change can't happen in a twinkle of an eye. The Liverpool squad just have to work together to stay in shape and hopefully the replacement won't be a mistake to the team. The team still proves to be competitive in their ability next season. We'd just watch how it'll be manned up and see the results they do their best to achieve. There are still world class players in the team and so they have no standing reason to flop no matter the condition they'll find themselves.

Well Xabi was once a prospect but staying at Leverkusen would favor him more and so at the moment, we hope to see the club finalize their deal with Amorim and also see the Portuguese team boss join the English side next season. Yes he's had in between performances but still I believe he can make a reasonable effect on Liverpool's team too. The squad are in good shape and he's got to be extra cautious in handling to prevent breakage.

Leverkusen are continuing to perform miracles in this dream season with Xabi Alonso.  Smiley

It says 41 matches but it must have become 42 as of the West Ham victory. This is just magnificent! It is a big joy to watch every single match Leverkusen play now. They just don't know the meaning of losing. Xabi Alonso is aiming the maximum level ball control and pressuring their opponent as much as possible. This system has worked very smoothly until this point as they will probably announce their first ever Bundesliga trophy today.  Smiley

As for the Europa League trophy, why not?  Grin  They look like nobody can stop them.
Leverkusen managed by Xabi Alonso really created a record this season, it is very difficult to play without losing for a season and that's not just in one competition, but they did it in different competitions. Xabi deserves to be appreciated for what he has done while he was Leverkusen coach.
They are certain to be able to win the Bundesliga title this season because it is already in front of them, and now they are also playing the match and are 1-0 up to lock up the title against Bremen.
I hope that when he has locked in the title, he doesn't relax his game, because apart from being able to win, they can also create an unbeaten record for one season in the Bundesliga.
In the European League itself, they have a very big chance now, especially as one of their competitors actually failed in their first match in the quarter-finals because they lost to Atalanta. The failure of their competitors opened up wider opportunities for them to become champions.

I don't sure with my ideal final prediction of Europe League between Bayern Leverkusen vs Liverpool will be true, for Leverkusen has chance qualify until final round but Liverpool make us shock and loss faith with potential eliminating in quarter final round after losing three goals on the first leg match. Need to change with final prediction seems Benfica has large opportunity will set one spot for the final if Atalanta qualify to semifinal, in other batch actually very difficult for predicting the potential teams will get final ticket between AS Roma, Milan or Bayern Leverkusen.
After Liverpool got a lose with 3 goals, I also didn't expect Liverpool in the final round. I think Liverpool has been eliminated, they won't have a chance to win with 4 goals in Leg 2. We should have another team to accompany Leverkusen in the final round. Sure, the winner in the match AC Milan vs AS Roma probably becomes the candidate of the finalist. Because AS Roma could win in Leg 1, I also think AS Roma may be the opponent of Leverkusen in the final round.

Anyway, I'm very disappointed with Liverpool. I predicted to see Liverpool in the final because they are performing very well in EPL. I guessed they will perform the same in Europa league, but they seemed to fail in this competition. Now, it is just to expect a miracle for qualifying in the next round. Atalanta has killed them in Leg 1.

If Jurgen Klopp's men are not making it to the final of the Europa League competition, which does look to be very hard because they have to overcome a three goal deficit, I think Leverkusen is going to win the Europa League competition. Because all this time I was thinking that Liverpool is the true competition for them. But if they cannot reach the final, I don't think Leverkusen actually has any competition.

Yes, there are teams which will give them a hard time. But I don't think it is going to be good enough to beat Leverkusen. And the performance that Leverkusen has been showing recently, I actually am thinking about trusting them. imagine if they can actually win all these trophies! It is going to be a legendary achievement for them.  But first of all,  let's see what happens with Liverpool vs Atalanta 2nd leg

It's too much to equate Roma and Leverkusen, I think there is clearly a difference here and I also see that Roma still doesn't have a big percentage to be in the semifinals and meet Leverkusen because even though they won the first leg against Milan, the performance of the Roma team was so bad that Agg 1 It is very possible to catch the goal in the second leg.
The match in the second leg for Roma will definitely be fiercer because Milan will definitely try to win as much as they can even though they are playing at Roma's home ground, because with just one goal in the first leg it certainly won't be safe enough for Roma to qualify for the next round. Unless Roma can really make a big surprise with an extraordinary increase in performance at home when they host AC Milan in the second leg.

Quote
Meanwhile, Leverkusen is currently still quite stable, if there are no big surprises like Atalanta's surprise against Liverpool, then the Leverkusen team can be said to be a team that has quality above the average of other teams.
This season, Leverkusen still has no equal, judging by the fact that they have never lost any match this season. And I don't even hesitate to say that Leverkusen will progress to the next round with an extraordinary aggregate, even though in the second leg West Ham will also try to score a goal to beat Leverkusen. But that is quite a difficult thing for West Ham to do because Leverkusen still has full strength to continue to focus on the Europa League this season in order to reach the final.

Roma played very efficiently, they were able to protect their chances quite well and the result of winning in the first leg is of course a very big advantage for Roma because in the second leg they will play at their own home with the many advantages they have now made the Roma team comfortable enough to reach the second leg later.
I think this is not a big surprise because it must be admitted that Roma's performance has been much better and has improved since being coached by De Rossi.

I think there is no difference between Roma and Leverkusen, these are two teams from two different competitions even though Leverkusen looks superior but Roma also cannot be underestimated, they have now improved very drastically.

I believe it might be a little exaggeration to see Leverkusen and Roma at the same level. There is a really serious performance difference between these teams this season. Even with De Rossi, Roma would still have really serious difficulties against Leverkusen. Because we are literally talking about an unbeaten opponent.  Smiley

Roma beat Milan away maybe but they didn't have a good performance on one hand. I don't feel like they would be able to stand much chance against Leverkusen if they play the same. We must have all seen what Leverkusen did to West Ham in the first leg so...

I'm having that feeling of De Rossi having a great next season the same way it is currently for Xabi Alonso who within his first six months showed great improvement with the squad he came to meet.
I'm head tight currently as I'm too dump to take a side between these two clubs even if it ne is having the season of their lifetime. Milan had some improvement but to see that a big European side would crumble, I wouldn't even agree. They have just earned themselves the spot to the next round in my own opinion.

If As Roma goes on to face Bayern Leverkusen, we all know the outcome, they would definitely defeat them since they couldn't do so against Jose Mourinho last season.
This would be a good chance for Xabi Alonso and his lads to do that. Vamos!

Roma and Leverkusen may indeed have the same quality and level of players, but in terms of stability and performance, of course, comparing Rome and Leverkusen is a very exaggerated thing, for now Roma and Leverkusen are like earth and sky so it is not appropriate for us to equalize the chances of the two teams to reach the final or even win the Europa League this season,  My guess, you equate Roma with Leverkusen maybe because Roma managed to beat Milan in the first leg, I think it shouldn't be that Milan's defeat makes you think that way because after all Roma's victory with an aggregate of 1 goal certainly does not guarantee their chances of qualifying for the next round.

At the moment compared to Roma, I think Milan still have a greater chance to qualify for the next round, at the moment Milan only need a draw to force the game to go longer, so if that happens then I am quite sure Milan will be able to destroy Roma at home later, at the moment I am the favorite Milan, Leverkusen or Liverpool who will reach the final.

It is what it is and it is not a positive result that makes Roma feel comfortable. Everything is not over yet and Roma still has to fight to stop Milan in the second leg. I think if Milan can learn from their previous mistakes, they could beat Roma in the second leg and that would make Roma start to panic. There is no way that Milan will just stay silent and they will avenge this defeat at home to Roma.

Now we can see that Roma have not been able to completely suppress Milan's attacks and therefore their defense must be even stronger than before. If they can't fix that then Milan will have a much easier time breaking into the goal. Every referee's decision is quite controversial and there are times when we can't do anything if the referee has already decided. However, we can only hope that in the second leg the two teams can show a fiery quarter-final match and this will also eliminate another representative from Italy in the European league.
In the second leg, they will show their good performance to fight for a ticket to the semifinals, even though AC Milan lost at home in the first leg, it is not impossible for AC Milan to beat Roma in the second round, but in the last meeting at home to Rome, the AC Milan team was able to beat Rome so it is possible that the same thing will happen again.

But this match is difficult to predict, both of them have effective key players, and De Rossi is definitely very motivated to beat Milan at their home, especially with Roma's record of the last five meetings being unbeaten at their home, it is very difficult to decide defeat in the capital city of Rome but coach Pioli will definitely fight for a ticket to advance to the semifinals,
This will still be a tough match and predicting the second leg between these two teams will be over, so I would bet on it.

Liverpool letting you down after you placed your money on them is frustrating. Always a powerhouse, this season has been good. But those team modifications were a risk that failed. After you become used to their huge names up front, they attempt something new.

High possession is how you normally succeed, right? Easy passes and basic attempts arent enough against Atalanta's tight defense. A real wake-up call. Football can be unpredictable. Yes, its annoying when it costs money. I understand.
Not only is it annoying for those who lose after holding Liverpool and hoping to win, but it could actually result in Liverpool going home early from the Europa League if they are not able to score more goals in the second leg. Because losing badly at home with that many goals will certainly be a very painful blow for Liverpool fans, because this will make Liverpool have to be able to make their best attack in the second leg while still making a better defense. I didn't think that Atalanta could win that much at home to their opponents in the Europa League this season.
The situation is still unpredictable after the previous failure where Liverpool had to lose with a sizable score certainly makes an indication that the second leg will be more difficult because Liverpool will have to try to score 3 goals or even more to keep their hopes alive. But something like this is still possible to happen even though it is a little heavy but the fact is that if Atalanta can score 3 goals at Anfield then it is not impossible for Liverpool to win with a striking score in Bergamo later.

The current conditions of the chance are still there even though it is a little difficult because surely with a big win like this Atalanta certainly don't want to just let go of their momentum but on the other hand things like this are also not easy because Liverpool are still possible to score a lot of goals for them to be in the semi-finals.
I think the chance is still there and still possible for both clubs for the second leg later.

I feel like Klopp doesn't really play to win, he plays to grow, he plays to basically make sure they do everything they can, but not really for just a title, it's growth that matters to him. All in all I believe that we are going to definitely see them do well enough, it is just not going to be all that simple.

We should let Liverpool lose if they do not care, why pressure them into something that doesn't make sense for them, they do not care because it's smaller than what they should be going for, they are normally good enough to be at UCL, and football is so weird that because you think you deserve UCL and not Europa, you end up not caring about Europa and lose that too. That is what we are seeing from Liverpool right now.

Milan may be embarrassed in front of their fans after their narrow defeat to Roma in the first leg but everything is not over yet and Milan's opportunity to win in the second leg is still very open. That's not a big aggregate difference and I'm sure they can still turn things around at home to Roma later. They just need to implement a different strategy and learn from the previous defeat against Roma.

On the other hand, Roma, who have been on the rise lately, are worth watching out for and since being handled by De Rossi, their performance has always been impressive. But they also have to start being alert because Milan will play hard at home and Roma should start looking for ways to break into Milan's goal even more. Defense will be one of the determinants of victory for both teams and one mistake will be very fatal for their chances of qualifying for the semifinals.

The biggest reason why Rome won this match was that they were lucky. Milan could not take advantage of many opportunities, in fact there were very good positions where they could have scored.
Roma scored thanks partly to the referee's decisions and partly to luck. I think there are offside decisions and penalty decisions that need to be discussed. We should also not forget the shots that hit the post. Rome was on a lucky day Cheesy
It is what it is and it is not a positive result that makes Roma feel comfortable. Everything is not over yet and Roma still has to fight to stop Milan in the second leg. Everyone of us know that Liverpool is good in coming back in this kind of matches. We have watched Liverpool do it against Barcelona which is a better team than Atlanta and also had a larger goal margin. If I were to be Atlanta coach, I will not play defensive game. I will come out the more and continue the pressure since I have 3 goals advantage and also playing home. I am just making a post, I just wish Atlanta coach can read this. Klopp made a mistake by gifting you the 3 points, please do not return the gift to Liverpool.
Liverpool conceded 3 goals at Anfield and this remained the worst defeats for them this season. Jurgen Klopp underestimate Atalanta in the Europa League and now he risks losing every possible chances of reaching the final this season. Though I believe Liverpool in comeback but they're not going to play the second leg at Anfield but will travel to Italy to face Atalanta at Gewiss stadium. Liverpool are positive on epic comeback while Atalanta current headcoach,  Gian Piero Gasperini will not take any chance but grabbing a win or draw tie at home.
This opportunity is still open for Liverpool, but the problem is that 3 goals will be very difficult for them to catch, although nothing is impossible for them, especially in the past they have also made extraordinary comebacks. This is a challenge in itself for Jurgen Klopp, because he has to think about a strategy that requires Liverpool to play as effectively as possible.

Another problem comes when they play away from home in this match, whether they like it or not, they will definitely feel pressure from the opposing fans, it depends on how they respond to it. But I think they also have a good mentality when playing in front of opposing fans because their experience is also better than Atalanta.

This is the last season for Jurgen Klopp, he definitely wants to give the best results and make a comeback in this match. They will most likely do a total attack in this match, because there is no other choice for them if they want to win and turn things around.

The main focus for Liverpool team remains the Premier League so i dont know how much they want to risk in Europa League only Jurgen Kloop inside his head knows what he wants more. I think he is gonna put all in this weekend against Crystal Palace, and try in thursday to find a few fast goals in Bergamo, if that is not happening i can see him making a retirement of the stars of the team, and let the game goes on.

I really liked the job Roma did against Milan away as well. Actually I can't say Roma were the better playing side. Their performance wasn't that impressive in general but used their chances more efficiently. De Rossi has really made difference so far. I started to believe in Roma more to eliminate Milan now and I had a bet placed on their advancing to the semi finals.  Smiley
Roma's performance against Milan was very good. I also didn't expect Roma to be able to win their away match against Milan, whether it was a coincidence or not, but what is clear is that Milan doesn't seem very enthusiastic about competing in the European League, even though in the domestic league, Milan performs well and is better than Roma, but in the European League I have to admit that Roma has the advantage here even though it is not coached by Jose Mourinho, in fact Daniele De Rossi is able to provide good strategies for Roma, no matter what tactics he uses, he is even able to handle the club better than Jose Mourinho with Roma's increasingly good performance. improving, I am very confident that Roma will be able to get through this quarter-final by beating Milan in the first leg and second leg.

Even though the score scored by Roma is not a big score, still winning away from home is a good sign for Roma and it looks like Roma will do the same thing in the second leg by beating Milan. I am sure that with Roma's advantage of playing at home, it will make it easier for them to win fierce resistance from Milan which is certain in front of Roma's loyal supporters it will show that Roma will reach the final again and currently my favorite is turning to Roma and Leverkusen would be better if they met in the final.

The result is a big surprise to happen at Anfield. I think this is a proof of a mindset of big clubs playing in Europa League. I don't think it's about underestimating Atalanta, but it's more to do with Liverpool were trying to lower the intensity of the game because they have a fierce league title race to fight for. Atlanta were able to capitalize the situation to make it hard for Liverpool to make another comeback.

I believe that Jurgen Klopp now have big dilemma between going full force to Atalanta or stay focus on the league title race. This dilemma becomes harder to solve, because their injuries situation makes Klopp doesn't have many options for the lineup if they go full force to Atalanta that can have negative impact on their ambition to win Premier League. Maybe the best choice is to give up on Europa League, considering the chance is also small, and focus on the title race when they are still relatively the front runner.
