What a lot of us have predicted and foresee to be the outcome of the quarterfinals is gradually becoming something else different from what we were assuming. The defeat of Liverpool by Atalanta was a great shock to all and this was not what we expected them to showcase in that match. They were obviously the favourite in that match but how they were defeated with three goals to none will think the are no effective team to speak home about. They have a lot to do in the second leg match and I believe they will be back more prepared and will be willingly ready to face anything that will give them a victory in the second leg match. They still seem so far from victory but there’s nothing that is not impossible in the game of football. We will wait to see what the two teams have to show for the upcoming second leg games.


I as a coach will also brag for a win or draw in the second leg match because it’s going to be played in my stadium which I will have many advantages over my opponents coming. Although this is a very important match for both teams, I will expect a top notch performance from both sides and I hope we will be entertained in this match much more than we were in the first leg match. With an European competition at hand, no team is seen as the underdog and this is the knockout stage were all teams are in their best form.

Liverpool conceded 3 goals at Anfield and this remained the worst defeats for them this season. Jurgen Klopp underestimate Atalanta in the Europa League and now he risks losing every possible chances of reaching the final this season. Though I believe Liverpool in comeback but they're not going to play the second leg at Anfield but will travel to Italy to face Atalanta at Gewiss stadium. Liverpool are positive on epic comeback while Atalanta current headcoach,  Gian Piero Gasperini will not take any chance but grabbing a win or draw tie at home.

We All know that Liverpool is good and that's not really going to be contested but the problem is that are the other teams knowing the strength of Liverpool going to stay back and allow Liverpool put up a comeback just like that, steal the show and win? Most definitely not so I'm still of the opinion that Liverpool still have slim chances with the Europa this season and they just have to be more better in their next meeting.

If Atlanta results to playing an offensive game where they will be doing more of the attack from their end, then they should be sure to know that their post may actually be in danger because Liverpool isn't a team that will allow them get along just like that as Liverpool is very good with bringing the ball to your post and playing behind your defense if given the opportunity without staying offside and this was the exact same pattern they did used against Manchester city in the premier league so it wouldn't be a challenge using it against Atlanta especially in the fact that this time they may not be resting players.

They are going to use their full squad this time knowing that they are at risk of missing out in the Europa if they fail to win the game against Atlanta this time so that will be more reason they will put in all their best to making sure they are able to defeat Atlanta at all cost so Atlanta will have to be very careful else they might still get kicked out even after all the victory they got in the first meeting with Liverpool a d were able to secure Victory.

After Liverpool got a lose with 3 goals, I also didn't expect Liverpool in the final round. I think Liverpool has been eliminated, they won't have a chance to win with 4 goals in Leg 2. We should have another team to accompany Leverkusen in the final round. Sure, the winner in the match AC Milan vs AS Roma probably becomes the candidate of the finalist. Because AS Roma could win in Leg 1, I also think AS Roma may be the opponent of Leverkusen in the final round.

Anyway, I'm very disappointed with Liverpool. I predicted to see Liverpool in the final because they are performing very well in EPL. I guessed they will perform the same in Europa league, but they seemed to fail in this competition. Now, it is just to expect a miracle for qualifying in the next round. Atalanta has killed them in Leg 1.

Catching up from 3 goals behind will be very difficult for Liverpool, even though they have a capable attack line. Atalanta managed to win in a simple way, defending and relying on counter attacks. Liverpool is favorite but Atalanta wins big, that's football we can never guarantee.

Klopp will certainly try to turn things around even though it looks a little impossible, who knows, they will succeed in doing it, and luck will be on their side in the future. There are definitely many bettors who experienced losses in the first leg, and if you want to bet on the second leg, you need a lot of consideration. The European League always presents unexpected surprises, such as Milan's defeat to Roma.

But on the other hand, if Liverpool fails to advance to the semifinals, Leverkusen will be the other favorite team to have the chance to win the trophy this season. But it is possible that they will experience their first defeat in the Europa League. With the 3-0 defeat to Atalanta at Anfield, many people again doubted the strength of Klopp fleet.

There is nothing that Liverpool have to okay in Italy, that will give them any chance of qualifying to the semifinals. I agree with you that Liverpool is among the strongest in Europa but we underestimated other clubs, just simply because Liverpool is a big name. Atalanta messed Liverpool up in Anfield on clean sheet and you are expecting a miracle to happen for Liverpool in Italy, that is not possible.

Atalanta knows how to play Liverpool, and that was why they locked their defense and made Liverpool unable to find the back of the net. The only time that the ball entered the net, it was an offside. This is because Atalanta defenders are always putting Liverpool attackers on offside, so that they will not have easy access to score without going offside. The highest that Liverpool will play is to win them with one goal but not up to three. That will kick Liverpool out of the league.

In fact, the second leg hasn't been held yet, perhaps Liverpool will be able to turn things around and overthrow Atalanta with a higher aggregate score. however, it looks like it will be very difficult for Liverpool considering that Kloop also has to focus on the Premier League. Before Liverpool compete in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals, Kloop and his team must first concentrate on overthrowing Crystal Palace. After that, Kloop can focus on the match against Atalanta. and in football it is unique, maybe the situation could be for Liverpool to make a comeback. although I am very sure, Kloop will have to focus more on the Premier League which incidentally has the same points as the Gunners. but we'll see what Kloop and his team will do in the next match. although, Liverpool will visit Atalanta's home ground.

As for Benfica, the match cannot yet determine whether they will definitely qualify. If Marseille is able to turn things around, let alone playing at home, that means the situation has changed. what's certain, we'll just make sure when the second leg of the fight starts later. Likewise with Roma vs AC Milan, the situation can change. what I know is that football is unique and sometimes things happen that are beyond our expectations. To be honest, for now I don't want to speculate regarding the match later. Moreover, I haven't gathered all the information I need.

Regarding Leverkusen, from the start I have favored this team. especially, if they ensure they become Bundesliga champions. that way, Alonso can devote his attention to this competition. so, Leverkusen is now increasingly becoming a strong candidate to challenge with the potential to be in the final round of the Europa League. Well, before these matches are held. Let's just follow first, the teams we mentioned are playing their matches in their Domestic League.

I know how the defensive system of players in an Italian league team like Atalanta is, of course it will be difficult for Liverpool to penetrate their defense, because Atalanta is enough to hold Liverpool to a draw, that is enough to beat Liverpool and make Atalanta qualify for the next round, winning in Italy is of course a very difficult job to do, let alone score four goals against Atalanta, it looks like it's impossible for me because I know how Atalanta plays very tight in their back line so it seems difficult for Liverpool to penetrate,

I'm sure Klopp still has the main target and good focus also to get a trophy also in the Europa League so, don't just because Liverpool lost 3-0 in the first leg then you thinkLiverpool don't have a focus on the Europa League. Yeah actually Liverpool still has a chance but the chance is definitely very low as you said Liverpool must score 4 goals without conceding and it must be very difficult because Liverpool will be playing away, unless the second leg is played at Liverpool's home maybe the situation is different. In another scenario, if Liverpool leaves this competition, the favorite team will switch to Leverkusen because Leverkusen is the most stable team. We will watch the second leg next week and I still hope that the final will be between Leverkusen vs Liverpool, because I think this is the most worthy match in the final.

De Rossi came and has been given time to show himself. They're playing the league games and as well as the European games, their attention is on 2 trophies, European trophy will be difficult for them and I don't think that currently De Rossi would be able to scale through all the clubs that will be presented to him to face in each advancement phase of the tournament.

 Even in the Serie A, it'll be difficult for them to gain the top stand so it's just best that they focus their strength and struggle to maintaining a good result that'll see them scale through to the European cups next season. De Rossi can still make a great team from Roma and their next games encounters are awaited. When they played away to Monza weeks ago, the game outcomes actually went in their favor. They were able to confidently net in 4goals and this gave enough goal margin in the match today. Monza who were the host didn't actually make much effort, adding that they were up against a better side and nothing less or different from the final outcome was expected to happen.

 The odds were in Roma's favour and in their own part, they were able to perform and deliver rightly, adding an extra 3points to their league table points and this as well added to the push and morale ahead of their next European cup game against Brighton too. The games so far has been ending in Roma's favour as weekly they've tried to ensure a clear 3points victory or a draw with a wide goal margin too. This only assures then of a bigger possibility of the UEL clash which seems to be a tough game for Roma.

 They did a good job putting Brighton in that tight corner even though majority of us thought Brighton would stand up to the fight and try to reduce the goal gaps regardless. Roma have been able to gather enough confidence ahead of their domestic league games. Even though the top 2 spot isn't assured to them, they've been able to fight to maintain relevance and as well ensure that they secure an European ticket next season, just their consistency matters at this point. The advancement journey won't be easy, the forthcoming league games too won't be easy. But I believe De Rossi is set to give his best for the team judging from the result of their last two games.

The main focus for Liverpool team remains the Premier League so i dont know how much they want to risk in Europa League only Jurgen Kloop inside his head knows what he wants more. I think he is gonna put all in this weekend against Crystal Palace, and try in thursday to find a few fast goals in Bergamo, if that is not happening i can see him making a retirement of the stars of the team, and let the game goes on.

Roma's position is not yet safe and it must not feel happy by the result in the last game. It was only one goal and milan can surpass it anytime soon. Roma will be an on advantage with one goal aggregate for the second leg but it must be ready since milan will be playing fully attack against milan at the second leg.

I hope so but it is saddened me how liverpool has a very small chance to qualify for the upcoming stage caused by it was losing against atalanta with huge aggregate.

Honestly, this was definitely the big shock that everyone needed to see that Europa is not guaranteed for anyone. Even if Liverpool somehow manages to make a comeback and win the second leg and go to semi finals, at least everyone now knows that you can't just expect the best team to win all the time, not at this cup anyway. I believe that we are going to need something much bigger, and that is why it is going to be pretty troubling to change most of the situation as well.

I believe that the best thing to do would be just focusing on what type of bet you could make on the return now. I believe that both Milan and Liverpool will have a win, that seems like their only way out so they will try their very best to be able to do that.

Everyone of us know that Liverpool is good in coming back in this kind of matches. We have watched Liverpool do it against Barcelona which is a better team than Atlanta and also had a larger goal margin. If I were to be Atlanta coach, I will not play defensive game. I will come out the more and continue the pressure since I have 3 goals advantage and also playing home. I am just making a post, I just wish Atlanta coach can read this. Klopp made a mistake by gifting you the 3 points, please do not return the gift to Liverpool.

Liverpool letting you down after you placed your money on them is frustrating. Always a powerhouse, this season has been good. But those team modifications were a risk that failed. After you become used to their huge names up front, they attempt something new.

High possession is how you normally succeed, right? Easy passes and basic attempts arent enough against Atalanta's tight defense. A real wake-up call. Football can be unpredictable. Yes, its annoying when it costs money. I understand.

I don't sure with my ideal final prediction of Europe League between Bayern Leverkusen vs Liverpool will be true, for Leverkusen has chance qualify until final round but Liverpool make us shock and loss faith with potential eliminating in quarter final round after losing three goals on the first leg match. Need to change with final prediction seems Benfica has large opportunity will set one spot for the final if Atalanta qualify to semifinal, in other batch actually very difficult for predicting the potential teams will get final ticket between AS Roma, Milan or Bayern Leverkusen.
AS Roma won the first leg match but one goal not secure yet if Milan win above two goals, but Leverkusen has good capital two winning goals on first leg to defend on second leg match without loss above two goals.

In my opinion, Atalanta will play more defensively, they won't expose themselves so much to Liverpool, who will surely make pressure for a quick goal
