Milan may be embarrassed in front of their fans after their narrow defeat to Roma in the first leg but everything is not over yet and Milan's opportunity to win in the second leg is still very open. That's not a big aggregate difference and I'm sure they can still turn things around at home to Roma later. They just need to implement a different strategy and learn from the previous defeat against Roma.

On the other hand, Roma, who have been on the rise lately, are worth watching out for and since being handled by De Rossi, their performance has always been impressive. But they also have to start being alert because Milan will play hard at home and Roma should start looking for ways to break into Milan's goal even more. Defense will be one of the determinants of victory for both teams and one mistake will be very fatal for their chances of qualifying for the semifinals.

I'm calm and probably don't know how to express my feelings following the shocking defeats of Liverpool in the Europa League. Atalanta was underestimated but they prove to everyone to be a potential threat to any other elite team in the Europa League this season. Don't underestimate them because they know exactly how to handle themselves. The most difficult challenge for Liverpool this season is Atalanta. Jurgen Klopp relent and suffered shocking defeats at home and now they have to corrects their mistakes with an epic comeback in the second leg. Liverpool lost 3 nil at Anfield and this is huge embarrassment for them.

I'm not sure if Liverpool's crushing defeat yesterday in the Europe League was for this reason. Even before, Liverpool seemed very optimistic and enthusiastic about this match, the match where they lost badly to Atalanta, that was a very fatal mistake from Liverpool. Liverpool wasted the chacnes too much. They were also not as effective in pressing Atalanta even though they had a much larger attacking share. They only played the ball beautifully, but not sharply. This is an evaluation that will certainly be very deep for Klopp for Liverpool. And, this was a very embarrassing defeat for them, 3 goals without reply by Atalanta, at times they were alone. Who can handle it?

Even in his interview, Klopp also stated that they lost the plot in the match. It was a bad game and they evaluated it all very carefully for the development of the match in the second leg.

Liverpool disappointed a lot in the first leg, they look out because of how many goals they conceded, but based on history, Liverpool have a good fighting spirit and can turn this game around in just the first half of the second leg if they are able to score two goals and prevent any more goals from Atalanta. The coach will take the second leg very seriously and will make sure to start his key players who he will charge to be aggressive from the very first minute of the game. Liverpool has some important players back and they will be fitter before that second leg, so that will give the coach more options.

One thing about this European night’s football is the fact that it always comes with surprises like under dogs piping the favourites. Atlanta although in this case were underdogs but in reality they too are one of the competition favorites. Many people have piped Liverpool to the game most especially because it was Anfield, a place which is more like a fortress for them, but it happened that Atlanta was just too good in and lucky In the match to get those goals. Does Liverpool still have a chance, I will say mathematically yes they do but realistically I don’t see them pulling a comeback on this one. Three or more goals at the Atlanta home is something I don’t think they could pull out, I see Liverpool already blew this one already

This is a very unfortunate match for Liverpool. I am amongst those that bid that Liverpool will make it to the finals and meet Bayern Leverkusen. This prediction was base on the experience that all teams have in European competitions and the team that will make it to the finals of the competition. Now that Liverpool have lost to Atalanta in their home, they should prepare to play a more interesting second leg match that is coming for them. This was suppose to be the easiest match for that day but it was a shame for Liverpool losing to Atalanta, i Just  hope they can revive and take the lead in the second leg in order to qualify for the next round  of the competition.

The Atalanta team had enough reasons to lose, as their performance was so poor that the Liverpool team that performed well all season lost at the last minute. Because their goals have been missed so much, attack after attack, they have not been able to succeed. The players who are attacking are not present due to which the ball attacked from inside the D box and the attack was not successful. Because the Atalanta team players were so aggressive that their attacks were difficult.

In fact, in the first half, Liverpool already had several opportunities that almost resulted in goals. It's just that the accuracy and effectiveness of their attacks is indeed poor. And it could be said that they were unlucky. Like when the ball left the Atalanta goalkeeper's guard but instead hit the crossbar. And Liverpool's mistake was that they even made a mistake at the back for Atalanta's second goal. Liverpool play very attacking, while they are not good in defense. If Caoimhín Kelleher had not made some important saves, then perhaps Liverpool would have lost with a 5 goal deficit. Caoimhín Kelleher was good as a goalkeeper, but the defenders failed to anticipate Atalanta's attacks and prevent them from scoring.

No doubt, so far de Rossi has had a lot of good influence on AS Roma. David moyes' cowardly and deep defence had more to do with the statistics against west ham than leverkusen's playing strength. Even the attackers were in the middle of their own half. If moyes had come out with a proper plan, he could have played a competitive football, but he played a ridiculous defensive football. He didn't even seem to have an attacking plan. I like the professionalism of Liverpool and I think they seems to be the favorite of these teams but they really let's their guard down and now, this match is going to be one of the difficult one they will face. They will be going to Atalanta home which is going to be another difficultly for them to equalized. To proceed from this quarter final, 4 goals or more is what they need else nothing for them.

I'm shocked that Liverpool is losing to Atlanta. I think it will be very difficult for Liverpool to win Atlanta at home, but anything can happen, but Atlanta are the favorites of winning the game next week. If Atlanta defeat Liverpool, they will have the opportunity to qualify to the final this season with Leverkusen because I know Xavi Alonso will definitely qualify to the final because they have not lost any matches since the beginning of this season, and this weekend th Liverpool will only focus on the league if they lose their match with Atlanta and battle with Arsenal in the league if they fucked up in the Europa League, I don't think they will even win the league when arsenal are leading by goal difference already. But I think arsenal match against Aston Villa will be pretty difficult because  Aston Villa will like to end in the 4th position in the league to get the opportunity and qualify to the Champions League next season.

Leverkusen has shown a very good level of consistency in the Europa league game which has made me see to it that i may not be really wrong if i assume them to be possible favourite to win the trophy this season because so far they have been able to prove it from the group stage were they successfully get passed it unto this stage without getting to suffer a loss as they were able to keep an unbeaten record in the Europe till this point.

After Liverpool suffered a loss in the group stage of the Europa i began to nurse some doubts in the possibility of them been able to still win the trophy at the end of the day because they were beginning to seem to me like this could actually repeat again and it will be such that will cost them the trophy and it's beginning to look like such as their chances with the trophy is currently appearing slim, the time they lost at the group stage they used a tactics that was allowing them rest key players because they probably were keeping them for the premier league and this was similar case with the game against Atalanta which has cost them a tragic loss which is looking like it can't be remedy.

Liverpool seem to have prioritized the premier league meanwhile i was thinking such will be placed on the Europa as they don't get to play in the Europa all the season and this is going to be the last they will be playing under the leadership of klop as he has not been able to win the trophy with Liverpool before now and this appears like his best opportunity just before leaves but then it seem they want the premier league more.

One of the things that surprised me was when I saw Milan playing at home, but in the first half, Roma seemed to be pressing very hard towards Milan's goal, even though Milan's possession of the ball was very good, but Roma's players had very fast attackers, even the midfielders were able to contribute to attacks. very good and scored 1 score.
In the second half I thought Milan would make a comeback but it seemed my thinking was wrong and it turned out that Milan's mistake was just lack of focus and lack of calm in terms of shooting the ball towards the goal like Giroud who was right in front of the goal failed to score even though it was a very good opportunity for Milan .

I can also see how serious De Rossi is in the Italian Seria A, he is trying to see if he can brake through the top four since he have already secured a Europa League spot according to the standings now.

The talk of the day is definitely Liverpool losing to Atlanta because the whole expected a much better results if not because Liverpool are better than Atlanta then for the fact they actually played from home and also the amount they loss to Atlanta is just too overwhelming, I could never see this happening before the game started although there is still a slim chance of Liverpool overturning the results because other teams have done and if Liverpool are tenacious enough they might still have something up their sleeves come the second leg of play.
