Ten Hag cannot be entirely blamed for Manchester United setback last season, his failure in the Champions League and Premier League certainly had a logical reason. One of them is player injuries, and in my opinion all managers will have difficulty meeting targets if faced with this problem. Another reason is that players such as Masont Mount, Sofyan Ambarat, Rasmus Hojlund, Onana failed to perform optimally in their first season. So it was very fortunate that when Ten Hag managed to lead Manchester United to beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final, everyone except Manchester United fans was shocked by the result of the match. However, Ten Hag still could not avoid harsh criticism even though he succeeded in presenting the FA Cup trophy, because finishing in 8th place in the Premier League standings was unacceptable, because statistically it was Manchester United worst finish in the last few decades.
No manager will be able to survive those setbacks from last season, I repeat again, no manager, not Pep Guardiola, not Jurgen Klopp, not even Jose Mourinho nor Antonio Conte.
I have said this a million times here and I'm tired. Lol! Most importantly his defenders and midfielder's had issues a whole lot last season.
I won't blame Andrea Onana too much, you need a good defense to bring out the best of such players and Andrea Onana is not a bad player go check what he's done for Ajax and Inter Milan. He has won trophies with these clubs ans will definitely win the Premier League Competition with these clubs too.
The Fa Cup finals was expected ( I expected it and made comments about that game three weeks before that game ) I cannot force people to like Erik Ten Hag or see him as a good manager, it either they don't or they do. He is the right man for Manchester United and there areno good options out there for the club. Erik Ten Hag promised the players and fans he'll bring the trophy to celebrate with them and he did what he said.
I honestly don't remember from all leagues, but I know that United will be in it right? If that's the case, we need to consider United to be a strong contender for it no matter what you think of them. I know many people think that they are not that great, and mostly you are right, but we should consider how United is always United and they may end up winning the whole thing if they play it right, which is why I may put some small amount for them.
When you go on to see the rate Erik Ten Hag has won trophies since 2018, you wouldn't want to look down on him at this point, he is a winner and knows how to get what he wants if he has the right players. They have what it takes in that club and they're also building a solid one for the future so they can compete both in the champions league and the premier league. Manchester United for the Europa League Competition next season could happen, i have no doubts. But then, I would love it if he is in a more better position at the top of the Premier League Competition ( Second Position or Third )
