I think the team most have some expectation from him, because he was able to get them a trophy last season, so it will not be so bad if the let him go continue. That is to me, because I view it in this way, if you really you want to see someone with a nice results or outcome you have to give them more time, we all know that Manchester United is going on a bad performance last season, so we will see how they will come up this season if they will really come with a nice performance, because that the previous season or they will not have any changes but just come to display what they display last season, but I still think Ten Hag might do something tangible.
It wouldn't be wrong if the Manchester United team management still gave Ten Hag time to make such real changes. Because next season Ten Hag will also be under more pressure because he is not only thinking about winning the Premier League, but also has to think about winning the Europa League. And this of course requires more changes in the Manchester United team because if the team's condition is still like last season, of course Ten Hag and Manchester United will get bad results again at the end of next season.

Ten Hag is full of luck right now, because in any other year he will be sacked so much early and had no chance of stay in his spot.

But thanksfully for him Manchester United still in the bad moment for so many years, so the management dont want to change again the coach, they tried it before and no one bring any solution to the main problem, so they want now to keep him and give more chance to solidify a project.
It's even looking like ten hag isn't even so concerned about the chances of getting sacked from Manchester United any time, in his statement at the end of the season, he didn't sound remorseful he said he's going to other team to win trophies if Manchester United wants him no more. For a person who have made such statements, obviously he's definitely not going to cares whatever the results are because it's like he's got nothing to loose so he's just going to work at his pass and not what the team is expecting from him. My hopes are on the fact that he thinks to make use of this chance well enough to better Manchester United for the sake of his own career because of he's not getting good results here, I doubt if other teams would want to hire him if he gets sacked.

Ten Hag is a whiner. He always blames the other players and never himself. Even though winning the FA Cup is a nice prize, it doesnt change the fact that he's been riding on Sir Alex's coattails. The Glazers may like the idea of "stability," but this isnt the same Manchester United. Its just a shadow of what it used to be. We need a winner, someone who is responsible, and someone who motivates these people to do their best. Ten Hag? He is not that man.

He talks a good game, but whats going on? He has no idea what he wants to do. He's just stopping this club. No one who is happy with being average should be our boss. We need someone who can take us back to the top. Folks, Manchester United needs to wake up and know that we deserve better.

I honestly don't remember from all leagues, but I know that United will be in it right? If that's the case, we need to consider United to be a strong contender for it no matter what you think of them. I know many people think that they are not that great, and mostly you are right, but we should consider how United is always United and they may end up winning the whole thing if they play it right, which is why I may put some small amount for them.
Well, they could be one of the strong candidates for the championship but the problem is that the Europa League is not as simple as expected.
Europa League champions are sometimes always unexpected even in the last 3 seasons where Franfurt, Sevilla and this season Atalanta became an underdog club that did not think they would become champions in this competition.

Even though if we look further there are several big clubs that are always favorites to win even for this season there are Liverpool and Leverkusen who are unbeaten, they must recognize Atalanta as champions in the Europa League.
This situation could happen again this season although for the group phase everything might go according to plan for the big club favorites but for the round of 16 to the final sometimes the situation becomes more difficult than imagined.

Well am not surprised, I mean the man literally salvage his job at the very dieing minutes and he did it with all odds against him and with that one deed he also saved the entire season of Manchester united. This particular one act was the reason the board actually turned a blind eye to his already sealed fate in Manchester united, what I just hope is that he can adjust and make the team a whole lot better than before.

Erik Ten Hag is a very tactically gifted coach. He knows how to tactically outclass a team and deliver good results.
Yes, he may not have been the best in the league, but he alone can't be blamed for this.
He had an injury-depleted squad, and a lot of his main players were out of form, out of luck.

He can also be criticized for his decisions in terms of transfer business, but again, that’s entirely not his fault either.
ManUtd has been lacking a proper Director of Football in the club, and good scouts too.
To maintain at the highest level, you need a fit squad and a lot more luck.
Maybe after the inclusion of Zirkzee and De Ligt, ManU would get back on track.

I can't say whether this is because Manchester United don't want to rush into making a decision and are trying to keep their current coach despite the performance we can see for ourselves or whether there are other factors that made them decide to keep Erik Ten Hag. Because it could be that they retain a coach because the coach is considered to "comply" with what management wants, or in other words the coach does not demand much and so on.

I just want to think positively about their decision now because they don't want to rush, because even if they fire Erik Ten Hag there is no guarantee that they will be better. Apart from that, maybe they appreciate it because at least they managed to become champions in the FA Cup and allowed them to play in Europe, even though it was only the European League, not the Champions League, because they managed to get a ticket by winning the FA CUP.
I think that the major reason why they kept Eric Ten Hag was because he was able to win City in the FA cup finals which made the club to qualify for Europa. Even though the club performed poorly through out the season but a trophy was achieved and that brought smiles to the faces of the fans and the players. Some clubs that performed brilliantly was unable to win any trophy which means that he can improve the club performance.

No one knows whether if a new coach is brought into United to replace Ten Hag will perform better and that was why Eric Hag was given his last chance to see it he can improve the club and take them UCL next two season. I will be happy if United can go far in Europa League next season.
I kind of think same thought as you do, because if Eric Ten Hag had not won the FA Cup, his sacking was already due, but Manchester United management had to give him more prove his credibility this season after lifting that trophy. However, no one can really predict the future, but with or without Eric Ten Hag, I still think that would not have much to achieve this season regardless who is in charge because I really do not see a different Eric Ten Hag, despite being given this last opportunity to prove his credibility.

I haven't seen any that is outright yet, like who will win the whole thing, it is not out there just yet but I think it will be available soon enough. I think it's clear that we are going to end up with something that will take some time, and it is not going to be easy, but we should remember which teams are on it.

To be honest, at the moment I don't follow every development of Manchester United. Well, I don't know for sure if United will compete in the Europa League. However, based on several reports, Manchester United has qualified for the Europa League via winning the FA Cup. Speaking of Manchester United, next season Ten Hag won't have as many obstacles and problems as in the previous season. I think he can run his system optimally, which means United will remain one of the challengers in this competition for the title. Actually I like the system that Ten Hag applies, it is more about teamwork, one or two touches quickly. stabbing deep, and executing every opportunity. or, every counterattack that United makes is quite effective and dangerous. So, will Ten Hag be able to do it next season, is still a big question.

For other teams, to be honest I don't really follow them. in fact, for the team that is the favorite as a strong potential challenger in this competition. Let's just wait after the match list is released, after that we will know the teams that have the potential to challenge for the championship. Plus, we cannot ignore teams that slip up in the Champions League group phase.

Manchester United is most luckiness of Premier League teams get participants in Europe League after winning FA Cup regarding failed reach the Europe League spot standings place after finish on 8th position.
Have the same manager under Erik ten Hag and will Manchester United get success achievement regarding last season failure in Champion League group stage as the most bottom standings position team.
Currently, Manchester United have bad performed in European competition not only with UEFA Champion League but also in Europe League, I don't think they can't reach until final phase for next season behind many top teams are qualified to Champion League but get possibility with the relegated teams from UCL become difficult opponent team if Manchester United get qualified from group phase.

To be honest, personally I don't accept that reason as the reason why Manchester United retained Erik Ten Hag, even though maybe that was one of the ingredients they brought when they evaluated the coach's performance. Personally I can't accept one trophy as more valuable than their performance throughout the season, because they can get that one trophy only because they were very lucky in that match.

Let's see what happened in that match, maybe in detail I have also forgotten how the match went because I also saw that match. But let's look at the statistics of the two clubs competing at that time. In terms of play, Manchester City really dominated the game, even at the end they recorded 74% possession of the ball. Possession of the ball is not a benchmark for whether they will win or not, but at least we can see how Manchester United continues to come under pressure.

Let's also compare their meeting record in the last few meetings, we will get a note that Manchester City is superior in their last few meetings. So this is my assessment, even Manchester United being able to win in the final cannot be separated from their luck in that match.

Most do not have them yet, they might be waiting for the august because we are going to start seeing the first games then, maybe even as much as group stages but that I doubt we will wait for. All in all, I think United would be in the top three conversation no matter who is in, sure they may not be the best for some people, but they will be one of the best according to majority.

However, we need to remember that Liverpool was leading the premier league by the time they lost to Atalanta, which shows you that while United is good, better than most, they could still lose to a team nobody thought they would lose to. Which is why I think it's important to not bet on outrights just because you think a team is good, do that if you believe they are better than everyone.

It seems that Ten Hag is still being retained because Manchester United didn't have many players who played well last season, so especially as some suffered injuries, of course Ten Hag has difficulty rotating the existing players, this could also be an obstacle to why he is still being retained because it is not entirely his fault. for him, it's just that the situation is not good for him, I think Ten Hag must really take advantage of this opportunity that has been given by the chairman of the board to produce the best results next season.

At least Manchester United can be in the top four of the EPL rankings next season and reach an important round in the UEL as well next season, for Ten Hag it is very important to get good results next season, he will definitely learn a lot from his previous mistakes and make sure to get the right players This is really needed so that you don't get players who can't perform optimally in the EPL championship next season, he has to learn a lot to differentiate the situation from other leagues to the EPL, playing in the EPL is certainly not as easy as you might imagine, therefore you need great players who can be relied on to be able to fill in. Manchester United's main squad next season so they can perform better, including at UEL.  Grin

By the way the Europa League qualifiers has already started.  Wink

The second qualifying round matchups:

These matches are the most attracting ones to me and I would be more confident with betting compared to the first qualifying round matches.  Grin

Seeing Ajax in this round is really disappointing though. I was really used to seeing them as Eredivisie champions and qualifying for the Champions League. But here we are...

They are in a transitional period and trying to pull themselves together. Vojvodina aren't a team that can make things very difficult for them. Ajax should be able to advance easily.

Ten Hag cannot be entirely blamed for Manchester United setback last season, his failure in the Champions League and Premier League certainly had a logical reason. One of them is player injuries, and in my opinion all managers will have difficulty meeting targets if faced with this problem. Another reason is that players such as Masont Mount, Sofyan Ambarat, Rasmus Hojlund, Onana failed to perform optimally in their first season. So it was very fortunate that when Ten Hag managed to lead Manchester United to beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final, everyone except Manchester United fans was shocked by the result of the match. However, Ten Hag still could not avoid harsh criticism even though he succeeded in presenting the FA Cup trophy, because finishing in 8th place in the Premier League standings was unacceptable, because statistically it was Manchester United worst finish in the last few decades.

No manager will be able to survive those setbacks from last season, I repeat again, no manager, not Pep Guardiola, not Jurgen Klopp, not even Jose Mourinho nor Antonio Conte.
I have said this a million times here and I'm tired. Lol! Most importantly his defenders and midfielder's had issues a whole lot last season.
I won't blame Andrea Onana too much, you need a good defense to bring out the best of such players and Andrea Onana is not a bad player go check what he's done for Ajax and Inter Milan. He has won trophies with these clubs ans will definitely win the Premier League Competition with these clubs too.

The Fa Cup finals was expected ( I expected it and made comments about that game three weeks before that game ) I cannot force people to like Erik Ten Hag or see him as a good manager, it either they don't or they do. He is the right man for Manchester United and there areno good options out there for the club. Erik Ten Hag promised the players and fans he'll bring the trophy to celebrate with them and he did what he said.

When you go on to see the rate Erik Ten Hag has won trophies since 2018, you wouldn't want to look down on him at this point, he is a winner and knows how to get what he wants if he has the right players. They have what it takes in that club and they're also building a solid one for the future so they can compete both in the champions league and the premier league. Manchester United for the Europa League Competition next season could happen, i have no doubts. But then, I would love it if he is in a more better position at the top of the Premier League Competition ( Second Position or Third )

Eric Ten Hag was never a bad choice for Manchester United and when you check his stats so far he has been coaching Manchester United, he has performed above average and have won two trophies since given the position of the head coach. No criticism against him will make them sack him now. He has performed beyond average and that made his contract to be renewed. He is the best man for Manchester United and he will continue to be unless there is another person better which I’m yet to see that can handle the situation at Manchester United now.
Manchester United is better now than some seasons ago when we had other coach's taking care of Manchester United.  Since Eric ten Hag became coach Manchester United the club may not really have achieved good position in EPL but it is very clear that Manchester united under ten Hag have won good trophy which is a great achievement.  Ten Hag is a good coach , the problem with Manchester United is that it is very difficult for them to be consistent in their performance,  sometimes the team plays very fine but ti maintain this pattern of playing is just the problem of Manchester United. Ten Hag is still a good coach for Manchester United that can still make good improvements for the team.
