However, next season Sevilla will not be in the European league, because they failed to get tickets to go there because of their poor performance last season which meant they were at the bottom of the standings.
Their record in the Europa League is actually quite good, where they are the team that has won the most titles in the Europa League. However, their performance is not very consistent, especially in the domestic league, which is a problem for them.
Now Sevilla must first focus on improving their performance and being able to compete in La Liga, so that next season they can be in European competition again. They are a good team, it's just that they have had problems in the last few seasons.
Sevila struggled through last season, they had their form in a very bad shape and weren't in the right shape to qualify for any other leagues except for their domestic league, the even at some point struggled to be able to stay away from relegation but then they only got to qualify for their domestic league in the new season, getting better and improving in the new season is what we expect of them.
Last season, Sevilla had one of their worst campaigns in recent years as they didn't just reach the quarter finals of any  European competition last season but also failed to finish the league in a position that guarantees their qualification to play in Europe cone next season. For a club that's regarded as the most successful in the history of the Europa League competition, last season was a forgettable one but that isn't the end of the road for Sevilla as they still have a chance of returning to competition they know how to play well if they can finish a good position in the league cone next season. Recently the club and Sergio Ramos reached agreement to part ways just after one season after he returned to his boyhood club which I personally think was short-lived. Hopefully they do better next season because their failure to finish next season outside a UEFA Champions League or Europa League automatic qualification position will make many forget about the club's history in Europe.

Interestingly in recent years no team have consistently won the Europa several times in a row, the fact that the Europa keeps coming with surprises especially with who turns out to be the champions is one thing that keeps it really lively and interesting, the Europa is now even more competitive then some of the domestic leagues in Europe, defeating Liverpool and Leverkusen by Atlanta happens to be one of the highlights of the champions league last season.
It is true. In the last 8 seasons, there is no team winning the trophy in a row. Although Sevilla still becomes the most team to win the trophy, but they never win the trophy in a row. After winning Europa league trophies 3 times in a row in 2014 - 2016, no teams can win it again in a row. It indicates the strength of the teams in Europa league is quite equal recently. There is no superior teams anymore, the winner in each season may be a different team. I think Europa league becomes more interesting and competitive. However, in the history of Europa league, only Spanish teams which can win the trophies in a row (Sevilla, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia).

In the last two seasons, there have always been unexpected surprises in the Europa League, including what happened last season where Atalanta surprisingly managed to become champions in the Europa League and were also able to beat Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen, who were favorites to win last season. And for next season I also think there will be even more surprises that will happen to the teams that are not favorites to win the championship. Because teams that are not favorites to become champions and are not discussed much by the media will continue to improve their performance to be able to beat all the favorite teams.
In last 11 years we are having Sevilla as Champions for the five times with six other times we have different teams which won this title with this we can check how things are going here both Real Madrid and Sevilla are having strong hold on these trophies with others have to wait for their poor run for having better results, but one thing is sure while we have no Sevilla in competition we are having too much uncertainty about the winner because things are never been easy for any team to hold the nerves and win this cup.

Usually we are having English clubs strong and favourite in early rounds, but suddenly they lost their grip and give things to others handle with care this is happening for last few years in UEFA Europa Cup last time we have Sevilla who steal the show and this time we have Atlanta from nowhere to win the title.

There were many surprises that occurred in the European League last season which made us even more interested in seeing it until the end. One of the surprises that occurred was how one of Liverpool's top teams lost early and the team that beat them was Atalanta. Then Leverkusen was an undefeated team until in the final match they finally lost to the same team that beat Liverpool, Atalanta. Atalanta itself was not the biggest seed in the Europa League last season, but they managed to become champions with their good performance.
Surprises like this are what we want to see in a competition, where matches are not easy to predict. Even though the match brought together two teams that on paper were very different, in the end the differences on paper did not matter to the match. An example is the crushing score that Atalanta managed to get against a team that had never been defeated.

Last season was a really good year. I didn't think Atalanta would play this well, I think they added great color to both the Italian league and Europe. We see that some teams rise like this every year. But these teams usually only play well for a season or two, then make money by selling the players who made the team play well. Teams that manage to change this situation can be successful for many years. I want to see what Atalanta will do about this Smiley

Yeah that true but Sevilla would have been favorites to even try to replicate such kind of thing, when they were at their prime they actually played very well and won the Europa league for a good amount of times although they weren't back to back but it was very difficult to see Sevilla and not be scared during that period in the Europa league because even their league performance was poor it wasn't the same with their games in the Europa league.
However, next season Sevilla will not be in the European league, because they failed to get tickets to go there because of their poor performance last season which meant they were at the bottom of the standings.

Covid after shocks are having huge impact on many clubs and their finances which are hurting them badly, and they are having serious problems in last season we have Sevilla which were near the relegation zone hardly survive and able to end their season at the 14th spot which is good enough with having too much on and off the field issues with them as debit issues is creating too many problems for many clubs in Spain and Italy, and they are trying their best for giving their best in these conditions.

Hopefully now things will be manageable for them, and they will be able to have better performance in coming season which is surely going to be not easy for the many teams in few leagues because now quality difference is widening and things are going tougher day by day.

Well, you’re right and those are the best moments that makes one eager to watch the competition when they begin a new season. The Europa League has now become a very more competitive competition that even the underdogs can prevail in the end and win the trophy in the competition. Past and recent history of clubs that have won it don’t lie. Sevilla days are over I think, with them failing to win it in succession again and also booked their place in the champions league and not making it back to the Europa League from the group stage because of their poor performance outing in the champions league group stage matches. Every team are now in their best form, they’re no more underrated and as such, they can always give room for more teams to have a hold of the trophy too if they do well during the competition.

Is this good for the game? While it's fun to see these scrappy teams play, are we degrading the competition? Europa League as consolation reward, participation trophy? Man, no idea. It puzzles. It's entertaining, but it's not top-notch football.
For a team that is used to being in the Champions League, being in the Europa League is certainly a setback that they experience, so I see they are less enthusiastic about getting the title here. Obviously I don't mean to belittle or demean the competition here, but in reality many strong teams were unable to reach the final and they were even defeated by teams with mediocre status. Maybe it's true that they're not really interested in becoming champions, or that this just happened by chance.
Yes, the Europa League is good entertainment, but this only applies to teams that cannot compete in the Champions League so that they get a situation that is at least similar to the Champions League, although not as big as the Champions League. Some people don't even really watch the Europa League or they don't have the same interest as they do in watching the Champions League.

What's insane? That Europa League is a roller coaster, right? Sevilla always taking names and kicking ass, then gone! Big dogs are in it, but not in their hearts. It's like the Europa's their side chick while they're chasing the Champions League trophy. This allow underdogs, hungry clubs like Atlanta last year, to shine.

Is this good for the game? While it's fun to see these scrappy teams play, are we degrading the competition? Europa League as consolation reward, participation trophy? Man, no idea. It puzzles. It's entertaining, but it's not top-notch football.

I don't see Manchester united winning Europa and they might not go far as you think. Have you forgotten that nothing has changes in the club, Ten Hag is still their manager with his worst performance last season. Manchester united performance last season makes them not deserve to play in Europa next season.

Of course as luck was on their side because when it is your lucky day everything will work in your favor to be successful, this was how United got to Europa after winning City on the finals of FA cup. This is why I don't expect much from Ten Hag amd his boys only if he has improved his squad.

You don't see them winning don't mean they won't win it. When you look at the rate at which Erik Ten Hag wins a trophy per season, you won't be saying all these out of dislike or bias. Don't forget, they was so close to winning when they got knocked out of the European Europa League Competition during his first season in charge of Manchester United against Sevilla. They shouldn't have lost that game but everything changed immediately Lisandro Martinez got Injured during that game.

It's disappointing with the way most of what you all say are completely wrong. Manchester United will improve next season, all they y need is defenders, a new striker for backup and a solid defensive midfielder who can replace Casemiro because he's gradually lacking pace not to say decline due to Injuries.
You don't know what you're saying, there's nothing like luck when it comes to football, go do your checks and see the greats also talking about it.
Stop expecting too much from Ten Hag when he has not made those changes that you mentioned. You should know that Manchester united is bigger than just playing in Europa and I don't see any improvement yet when they have not played any match or have closed the loop holes affecting the performance of the team.

Last two seasons was better and I never expected a poor performance from Manchester united but now you are using just only one match to judge that the boys are good which I will not agree with you. It would have being better for Manchester united to get a new coach than keeping Ten Hag because he will still come up with more disappointment. There are stronger clubs that will be playing in Europa and I don't see united standing the chance of winning the league. It is not about big name but strong and quality club that will be victorious.

How will you say that luck is not part of success in football. In whatever you are doing to be successful your luck will also determine your level of success.

Luck? Maybe you should go see the interview of Josep Pep Guardiola on what he said about luck in football, also, do well to read about Johan Cruyff who made the statement first.

Manchester United are making improvements, they're one of the clubs in the Premier League I'm expecting to see a rise in performance. I'm not expecting too much, but, a much better display that what they had last season. They will get better, I'm not using just a game to judge them, as much as the players are ready to do things and fight for themselves, the way they did against Liverpool in the Fa Cup quarter finals and the same way they did against Manchester City during the finals.

They're making advances to sign two defender's with one having a Premier League experience. I'm afraid, the name Harry Maguire would be sold as he doesn't fit into the project of Erik Ten Hag. I have said this a long time since he was signed into Manchester United but many people seem not to see it the way I see it and that's fine.
It's a gradual process honestly,  I see so much potentials with this Erik Ten Hag side. He has a good understanding of the game and most importantly his decision making during his first season, I must confess has to be one of the things that made me a fan. He will win Manchester United the Premier League Competition. I'm Certain! This is same I predicted he'll win the FA Cup Competition, Yes?
I am also expecting a better performance from Manchester united next season because I know that they cannot remain in their weak state next season and a lot of improvement will be seen in the team's performance. I was so mad at Eric Ten Hag last season because I never expected those mistakes that he did on the pitch when United was on pressure.

Eric Hag also needs to work on himself and not only on the players so that when the situation is very critical on the field for the players, he should know where the loop hole is and the right player that he will bring into the field to close the loop holes so that the boys can achieve victory. Too many wrong decisions that he made last season which led to United defeat. I think the pressure on him next season will be limited because the management have employed people to assist him.

Pep does not do all the field work by himself, he has his technical coach that always observe the match and tells him the right change to make which was also a good contribution to City success.

Liverpool, Roma, Leverkusen, Milan yes I admit they are favorites in the UEL last season and in fact none of them can win the trophy.
Seeing their good performances in their respective leagues makes everyone believe that the winner is one of them. But who would have thought that the opposite would actually happen the club that was not really the favorite actually won the UEL title.

Well you could be right in the case of Manchester United to possibly surprises everyone next season with an improved performance, though for me I'm not actually against them and at the matter of fact they are one of the clubs I admire so much but I'm still skeptical about there chances next season because I have not really seen any serious work that has been done on the club and is obvious that if they failed to improve on the club there is no way those achievement will be possible for them.

However you are right about this season Europa League because Atalanta wining was actually not expected because from the beginning of the league they did not really shown any much of a seriousness on there performance but all of a sudden they started advancing and wining there matches and it didn't end there before we know they had already won the league, so actually in as much as Atlanta surprises everyone doesn't really prove that Manchester United will also do the the same thing next season, well I wouldn't conclude because next season will show us how ready they are,  perhaps who knows they could also surprises everyone just as you have highlighted.

Just look at last season: Liverpool, Roma, stacked squads, experienced coaches, and where did it get 'em? Nowhere. This is the UEL, not Sunday league, sweetheart. It's unpredictable

Now, Man Ten Hag's is a fine manager; MU has potential, certainly, but talent by itself does not bring trophies. It's about tenacity, flexibility, and how you handle whatever surprises this competition tosses at you. So let's, indeed, slow down the victory procession's progress. See how the season turns out; keep in mind in football that nothing is certain until the last whistle blows
So, this is what I mean, I know that next season Man U is not really a favorite for most people because its performance is still difficult to predict. But who knows, if they are not favorites, they could win it just like Atalanta last season.

What is clear is that Erik Ten Hag needs to fix what is wrong with his club. It is not easy to manage a club that is in chaos. He needs to increase stability and consistency so that the club appears impressive.

It is difficult for a team to win consecutive championship titles, because the opponents they face are good teams representing their respective domestic leagues. The ups and downs in a team's performance are also a factor that ultimately makes them fail. There are many teams that perform well in the domestic league, but when they compete in the European League they display a game that is not their usual level. This is something we see often.

The European League is the second league after the Champions League, so teams that don't have a big chance in the Champions League will try hard to get in the European League. They might have been very successful in the European League, but in the Champions League they failed miserably and even had to be eliminated from the group phase. This is where the situation is different because the level of competition is also very different.

Now Sevilla must first focus on improving their performance and being able to compete in La Liga, so that next season they can be in European competition again. They are a good team, it's just that they have had problems in the last few seasons.

It seems like we are too quick to judge Manchester United for their journey next season, we admit Ten Hag did a bad job at Manchester United last season and was only able to win the FA Cup to make Manchester United qualify for the European League next season, but despite it all, Of course, Manchester United also has the same hopes as other teams in competing in the European League next season because there will be many changes made to the Manchester United squad next season, It is reported that Manchester United is currently give freedom and also a large budget for ten hag to recruit new players to add depth to Manchester United's squad next season.

If you follow and see what is happening with Manchester United at the moment, you will definitely know that they have improved the quality of their squad, apart from the players, Manchester United has also started to reshuffle their coaching staff in order to help ten hag manage the team better next season, there are many improvements that have been made from Manchester United is currently, of course showing the magnitude of their ambition to face tougher competition next season, both in the league and the Europa League.

That's the Europa League because it always has surprise teams to get trophies, but if Sevilla are back in the Europa League then I think Sevilla will always have a chance to get the Europa League trophy. But yes, because Sevilla also only struggled at the bottom of the La Liga table last season, so Sevilla are not playing in the Europa League next season. Therefore, other teams that are not favored will have a chance to get the Europa League trophy. Although indeed, there are elite teams that will also play in the Europa League next season but still, I am personally not sure about elite teams playing in the Europa League. Because after all, elite teams will usually focus more on fighting for the domestic league trophy, so that makes the team not favored have a chance to get good results in the Europa League.

Interestingly in recent years no team have consistently won the Europa several times in a row, the fact that the Europa keeps coming with surprises especially with who turns out to be the champions is one thing that keeps it really lively and interesting, the Europa is now even more competitive then some of the domestic leagues in Europe, defeating Liverpool and Leverkusen by Atlanta happens to be one of the highlights of the Europa league last season.
