I read in an article that said Salah would be out for four weeks. Salah will miss several important matches with Liverpool. And I think Salah will be able to appear in the Europa League if his injury recovery goes as expected.
The pressure that Liverpool will feel is not in the European League, but in their own local league because that will be much more important for Liverpool than in the European League. So as long as Salah is not in the squad because he is hampered by his injury recovery, Liverpool must be able to handle every important match very well even though they have to work hard through several other players who they can rely on to carry out important matches that can keep them profitable.

One of the most exciting matchups in this round seems to be Feyenoord - Roma. The first game is in Netherlands on February 15th. As Roma have changed their manager and brought Daniele De Rossi I really am curious about their journey from now on. Actually Mourinho didn't have any problem in such competitions. He just couldn't meet the expectations in the Serie A.
So, what kind of expectation is it? I meant that mourinho has been bringing roma from the bottom to top. It was also close enough with the 4th position in serie a. There's nothing wrong with him but the party that needs to be blamed must be roma's management.
The club has been performing so poorly and this is also the main reason mourinho kicked out from the club. Feyenoord was not a team that can be underestimated. The club can also perform better than roma.
The transition that is still happening in roma makes the club played so poorly and this is the main problem. Roma may not perform better than when mourinho was still there.

My expectation is to see Roma eliminating Feyenoord like they did in their previous two meets.  Smiley  Maybe there has been a manager change and it is going to be De Rossi's first Europa League game with the team. But I don't expect Roma to get worse than now. I think they will keep their competitive look in the Europa League.

I respect Feyenoord. They tried their best in the Champions League. But their group was really a challenging one. They are having problems against bigger teams and I think this will continue against Roma too.

Liverpool is in top form this season and I think they are more than capable to fight in both fronts,in Premier League and Europa League. They have enough other players to make the missing of Salah in such games not to be felt and to continue their fight in both fronts but I think their priority is the Premier League,of course they will have a look to be maximizing profit if they see a good opportunity to win also the Europa League where they are the strongest contender.
You can't underestimate Leverkusen too, they were known as mediocre team, but their consistency in Bundesliga somewhat can be a proof if they're really strong in this season. I'd like to see the final match is Liverpool vs Leverkusen, if they're meet before the final match, I believe we will think one of them will win the final match.

Just like in Champions League, both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid faced Manchester City earlier, this automatically make either Inter or Milan enter the final match, Manchester City will obviously win the match.

When Liverpool lost a player due to injury, it was not that felt on the club because there was an available replacement,  but in the long run, losing two key players to injury in the same season is something that the club need to worry about for a while because, at the moment,  most of the leagues are in it intense stage and for that, it will be difficult to say if there will be making any significant progress with the absence of the key players who are currently on the injury.

Mo's injury is something that will affect the club significantly due to his position and role in the team which can not be easily replaced and for that, it will be a time of much challenge for Liverpool going forward because replacing key players is not an easy thing to do at some point in time.
Liverpool don't shake and decline in performance, if it's only Mohammed Salah leaving the club and resting due to injuries. Jurgen Klopp have alternatives to surf for in cases where his primary formation failed, he brings in another game techniques quickly, he don't have to wait before things blow out of proportions, he does the needful by bringing in potential replacements, no one would even noticed the absence of the game. Mohammed Salah injured, it's purely bad news in the ears of Liverpool supporters, putting Jurgen Klopp in a tight corner.

I cant't agree with you. Even though liverpool is still showing consistent performance but i kinda feel that if playing without salah was making the attacking line became less effective for the club. it was also making the situation even more terrible caused by liverpool may be struggling when it was facing the big club. The contribution made by salah was really big to the club and how can well call that if liverpool was playing better without him? salah is still stop scorer in epl right now. The absence of him gave great impact to the club.

Im quite disappointed to hear that salah has been absence for even longer due to the his serious injury. Glad to see that if liverpool was doing it right by trying so hard to defend its position in the EPL.
Jurgen Klopp was deep in thought, pondering the best approach to find a skilled player who could effectively fill the role of a right winger. It seems like that this has become the main target by klopp and it has been executed perfectly.

Glad to see liverpool is still staying at the top.

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that he needed the right medical attention to speed up the rate at which he heals from the Injury which he had from the African Cup of Nations Competitions.

At least even as they have lost him to Injury, they're still playing well with players like Diego Jota and Darwin Nunez stepping up and taking responsibilities for themselves in the Premier League Competition.
They would be host against Norwich during the Fa Cup Competition during the weekend and this is a another game for them to win..
Have bad clause between Liverpool and Egypt national team about Mohamad Salah will return back to national team if his country success lead to semifinal round of AFCON, right now Mohamad Salah return to Liverpool after injuring when playing for Egypt and he will absent two matches later with potential get recovery if Egypt qualify to semifinal round.

Its not good situation for Liverpool because several weeks left will play in Europe League, still waiting the opponent team on 16 round after playoff round match finish and Liverpool actually have more weeks left and hope Mohamad Salah possibility recovery as soon possible with his injury. Seems first match not problem for Liverpool with Salah have absent, won against Bornemouth with Deigo Jota and Darwin Nunez have impressive performance will more contribution upcoming match until Salah returning from injury.

Mo’s injury and it’s effect in the Liverpool side is one story that’s real trending now. Now we’re hearing he’ll probably be out for over 4-6 week which is a big blow especially for Liverpool who’re now on a serious chase for the league title with Man City, Arsenal. Let’s take away the focus from the EPL and look out the UEL where Liverpool are featuring, with Mo absent, I think Liverpool will not even get to the Semi Finals of this competition. I know Mo will be back before then but how sure are we he won’t have another slight hitch.

I think the Medical Team will have to try all possible best to get him to heal fast and on time because I don’t think they’ll want to lose grip on both the league and the UEL at large, besides they’ve got a final in about 4 weeks which Mo could probably miss if he’ll be out for that long.
The news about Mohammed Salah's injury is really hot at the moment, both in the Premier League media and also in the Egyptian media because Moh Salah is Liverpool's star player so his injury is in the public spotlight. And yes, it is reported that he will be out for a longer time due to the injury he suffered is a hamstring injury, which means the injury is not playing games and we know that hamstring injuries are one of the injuries that many football players fear. Liverpool may still be doing well in the Premier League, but what would happen in the European League without Moh Salah? I hope that before that match, Moh Salah will recover and return to strengthening Liverpool.

Jurgen Kloop has brought Salah back to Liverpool to carry out better treatment so that Moh Salah can recover quickly because Salah is a very important player for Liverpool, therefore Liverpool provides good medical treatment. And hopefully the medical team can do their best so that Moh Salah doesn't miss the match for too long.

Sad news, initially it was reported that Salah will miss only a couple of games of the African Cup and will help his team in the playoffs, but now it is obvious that he will not have time to recover even if Egypt reaches the final (which is very doubtful with the game they show - zero wins, three draws ). In general, Klopp should be super angry at how everything turned out: in fact, Salah went to the African Cup to get injured there and cause maximum problems for the club. Salah, along with Haaland, is the top scorer in the Premier League at the moment (they have 14 goals each), the second top scorer in Liverpool is Nunez (he has only 7 goals).

We can't stop injuries to happen because part of the game, so currently no doubt Liverpool is suffering but as we have Manchester City due to Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne so they are not going to have problems like them because their players like Darwin Núñez and Diego Jotta done good job in away game against Bournemouth which was doing impressive, and now they are going to face Norwich which is Championship side with the next game is against Chelsea which is also not problematic, but things could be challenging if they have no Mohammad Salah against Arsenal which is coming in first week of the February.
Jürgen Klopp is surely aware about this all and he also having his replacements which will help them for keeping things at the top with now time is surely not easy while we are in second half of the season and UEFA competitions are also coming after few weeks.

That is what differentiates some of the best teams from the other teams. Being able to replace injured players without significantly losing in quality in the team is not something many teams can do. Liverpool has some good alternative players if they need to either rotate because of so many games or if they suffer from injuries. I think it can be a decisive factor when the final phase of the season comes and all these knockout games are around the corner. In that sense it could almost be considered good timing for Manchester City because you don't want to find yourself forced into replacing the best players when the next opponent could soon be Real Madrid. But Liverpool will have a strong squad despite some injuries.

Liverpool was just replacing mo with another player which was good enough like jota and it was only doing a rotation to fillup salah's position. This is the main problem that has been solved by klopp as liverpool's coach. Im not really caring with it caused by liverpool will have a weak team as its next opponent. Liverpool and leverkusen are still holding the biggest chance to get the europa league trophy this season. Things will be going very different once salah will enter to the game again. Salah will be back again next month and im not seeing liverpool is in a big problem caused by that.

The current performance of liverpool is really convincing me even without salah. Just hope jota can deliver it even better in upcoming match. He will always be playing as right winger till salah will be fully recovered from his injury.
Klopp has been taking a very important lesson when the club lost against a weak team in the french league in the group stage. He was not even trying to randomly picking the player from the bench.

The quality of secondary squad owned by liverpool are the worst. Klopp is just replacing salah with another good player. Thing will be so different if he was replacing salah with someone who performed so badly from the bench.
If you were watching toulouse and you did see how bad the secondary squad of liverpool.

As long as Liverpool achieves good achievements in the Premier League and has good results the UEL, Jurgen Klopp always has good rotation of players to maintain consistency because for klopp success he has achieve now has become something to be proud of for the Liverpool owner and the fans so encouraging Klopp not to waste this opportunity to continue working hard to get right strategy to continue providing success the UEL competition.
Even though they have to compete with popular clubs and lose several mainstay players to injurie, Liverpool will not give up and continue to achieve extraordinary achievement this season.
This season could be very valuable season for Klopp because this will be his last season as Liverpool coach and maybe this  the last time Klopp wants to give the most beautiful gift to Liverpol supporters and players.
I actually don't want Liverpool to be the title holders in the premier League, but all depends on how Manchester City wants to give up on giving the title to Liverpool.

Liverpool is indeed a strong team and their performance will not decline significantly when player rotation is carried out due to injuries to several of their main players, but at least it will definitely have an impact, like Manchester City without Halland and Kevin De Bruyne, they also experience problems when playing against teams that have quality. which is balanced.

Likewise with Liverpool at the moment, in my opinion, it would be a big loss if Liverpool's main players were injured for a long time and their opponents in the Europa League are also quite balanced in terms of quality this season so they won't be too favored if they can't be in good team condition.

I don't think that Roma would get eliminated by Feyenoord. These two teams faced each other in the Conference League and Europa League in the recent times. Roma beat them to win the Conference League title and eliminated them from the Europa League later on. I don't see much change in balances between these teams now either.

There is a difference at Roma side though. They have brought De Rossi to the coach position. Do you think that he can be successful as Mourinho in such European tournaments I mentioned? Because the Europa League title must also be a target for them.  Smiley
Roma good at Conference League and Europa league because of Mourinho and with lack of star players Mourinho can make Roma performing well in those competitions but now after changing manager from Mourinho to De Rossi we still don't know whether De Rossi can able to make Roma performing better or not so the match against Feyenoord is very difficult to predict because admitted or not Roma still required more time to adapt with De Rossi strategy and De Rossi has just gets his first winning on Serie A with Roma last week from Verona but this result cannot be used as the reference

As far i know Roma owner didn't targetting Europa League trophy for De Rossi so that's why they only give short term duration contract to him because i am sure Roma will find new manager next summer and for the first leg this match will be held at De Kuip stadium which mean at Feyenoord home ground and based on the odds Feyenoord is the favourite so lets see whether Roma can able to gets at least draw result from this match or not but my prediction is Roma will be lost on that match considering from recent performance Feyenoord is more stable than them

On the one hand you are right, but on the other hand the same can happen to other teams as well. I think there are times when one team gets extremely unlucky and has far more injuries than other teams, but most of the time it evens out over the course of the season. Of course a team is afraid to lose key players for their most important games. Manchester City had to be dealing with Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne being injured. It is clear that As Roma's current condition is different when they beat Feyenoord in the Conference League final several seasons ago. At that time, As Roma already had chemistry between the players and coach Mourinho so their game became solid. So I don't think it's a benchmark that As Roma can beat Feyenoord in the last 16 of the Europa League.

Like Roma with new coach De Rossi, of course they have not fully adapted to their players, especially since De Rossi has no experience in European competitions as a coach, of course this will be an obstacle for As Roma in this match. Indeed, De Rossi in the first match managed to get three points in the domestic league against Verona, but this cannot be used as a reference because Verona is also a weak team. So my prediction is that As Roma will not be able to qualify against Feyenoord in the round of 16.
Roma’s in the UEL Round of 16 will be playing Feyenoord who’re a good team. Yes, Roma defeated Feyenoord the last time but that was because they were a string team with a very experienced coach as Jose who’s a specialist in European competitions. Now when you compare the current Roma to the previous one who defeated Feyenoord the last time, there are some pretty slight differences and one of them is the change of coach. This new coach might not have the experience needed in an European competition.

Yes he got all 3 points in his first domestic match in charge but when you consider the opponent he played, then you’ll know the 3 point were Roma’s before they even played the match. With this new coach, I fear for Roma’s European hopes. And I doubt if they'll Come close to reaching the final like they did last season under Mourinho.
On head 2 head, Roma is the better side when it comes to playing against Dutch club Feyenoord as they've met on five occasions which Roma has won three drew one and lost one. I would've also considered Roma the favorites going in to that round of game against Feyenoord had it been that Jose Mourinho was still the manager of the side because the Portuguese manager is known for his expertise when it comes to playing on European competitions.

Feyenoord who are currently in the second position of the Dutch league table I think will be a tough opponent for Roma and I expect them to play in their full strength in that two legged tie

Hearing the latest news, Mohammed Salah suffered an injury that was worse than initially thought. Even though many hoped that the injury suffered by Mohammed Salah would not be too serious so that Mohammed Salah could immediately return to Liverpool and return to strengthening the Premier League that club, but because of the injury he suffered Moh Salah is quite serious so he could be absent for quite a long time and could be almost 4 weeks, which means Salah could miss Liverpool's match in the Europa League which will be held in February.

But I hope that these rumors are not really valid and Mohammed Salah can return earlier than expected because Salah's role in the Europa League is very important, even though Liverpool is still doing well without Salah, Liverpool and Jurgen Kloop still really need a role Salah, unless Jurgen Kloop recruits a player in this transfer market so that he can be used as a replacement option for Moh Salah, Liverpool can recruit Mbappe from PSG if Liverpool is willing to spend a large amount of money to recruit the French player.

I know Mo will be back before then but how sure are we he won’t have another slight hitch?

I think the Medical Team will have to try all possible best to get him to heal fast and on time because I don’t think they’ll want to lose grip on both the league and the UEL at large, besides they’ve got a final in about 4 weeks which Mo could probably miss if he’ll be out for that long.
