Im not that sure im already said this before, but i see Feyenoord much more like a team, and AS rome always lack that team thing, theya re much more like a bunch of good players playing togheter, and now without Mourinho they lost also some winner aura.
Feyenoord is much more good and has better performance than As Roma, with most of the matches they have played this season Feyenoord has shown that even if they are not much good in performance but they are ready to improve but As Roma is not really in that good shape.
I think Feyenoord is not a better team than Roma. The Dutch league is not as competitive as Serie A. I'm sure if Roma were in the Dutch league they would now be competing with PSV for the leadership. If Feyenoord were in Serie A, they would be in a worse position than Roma. It will definitely be an interesting match-up, but Feyenoord is currently in higher morale than Roma.

It is still four weeks to go and maybe Roma can get going again after they now changed their coaches. A first positive step has been done. They do have a few games now where they can kind of recover from the last few months and then they have a big game against Inter Milan in about two weeks. I think if they can play successfully in these games, which first and foremost means they don't lose anything, Feyenoord might come in the right moment for them. Maybe it was for the better that they decided to change coaches and can still make something great possible for this season.

If we take the season before this, there will also be an interesting pair in the final: Eintracht - Rangers. Although clubs such as Napoli, Barcelona, Dortmund, Lazio, etc. could be there. Now compare the randomness in the Europa League with the stability in the Champions League where not only the semi-finals, but even the quarter-finals consist of almost the same clubs every year. This is not an accident, but a pattern, so in the Europa League, betting on favorites does not compensate for the risk, I think here you need to bet on underdogs, either with a bonus or live to maximize your odds.

I think going with the underdogs can make sense because the teams that usually play in the Champions League seem to not be taking the competition seriously eough. Last season I was so sure that Arsenal would probably win the Europa League, but no. Teams like Barcelona got eliminated as well despite being such a big name, but Sevilla took the competition as serious as they could. Nobody expected them to eliminate all these favorite teams like Manchester United, but they were superior to all of them. It wasn't luck, it was serious effort by Sevilla.

If it weren't for Sevilla's status as a club that historically dominates the Europa League, I would say that they were just lucky, but unfortunately they won that final (by the way, Mourinho still thinks that Roma won hahaha) and this destroys the whole "logic" of the second tournament in Europe. In general, betting against favorites is good in such competitions that are not particularly interesting to the favorites, but do not forget that bookmakers also know about this and you can get favorable odds either with different boosts or live when they are jumping, sometimes it is completely illogical. This is not an easy market to make money, but it is quite interesting.

Jose Mourinho is an experienced coach in all competitions, and he knows how to handle situations when ithey are going the opposite side in big competition due to his coaching skills. We have seen that several times when he won European competitions with different clubs that he has managed. This makes him different from De Rossi, who lacks the experience of big competitions. This was why Roma would have allowed Mourinho to finish the season. However, luck can still be on De Rossi side that he will be able to manage Roma and they will be able to go far this season. Nobody knows only time will tell.
Time is all that that both coaches needed to prove how better one is against the other, one actually has got the time currently while the other did had time but I can't tell if he did made good used of it or maybe the club management weren't patient enough with him to have shown how much he still could have been able to help the team get better results.

De Rossi no doubts is less experienced as Mourinho and will not be compared with Mourinho but then he's seemingly having luck on his side as since his arrival he's yet to loose a match but then I won't be using the results he's gotten so far as a good way to say he's a better coach until the end of the season seeing what he will be able to achieve with the team then I can say for sure that he's a good coach or not or if he's better fit for the team than Mourinho was, I know Rossi would want to do better because he's und some kind of pressure and the only way out have to be results.

Hearing the latest news, Mohammed Salah suffered an injury that was worse than initially thought. Even though many hoped that the injury suffered by Mohammed Salah would not be too serious so that Mohammed Salah could immediately return to Liverpool and return to strengthening the Premier League that club, but because of the injury he suffered Moh Salah is quite serious so he could be absent for quite a long time and could be almost 4 weeks, which means Salah could miss Liverpool's match in the Europa League which will be held in February.

But I hope that these rumors are not really valid and Mohammed Salah can return earlier than expected because Salah's role in the Europa League is very important, even though Liverpool is still doing well without Salah, Liverpool and Jurgen Kloop still really need a role Salah, unless Jurgen Kloop recruits a player in this transfer market so that he can be used as a replacement option for Moh Salah, Liverpool can recruit Mbappe from PSG if Liverpool is willing to spend a large amount of money to recruit the French player.

Mo’s injury and it’s effect in the Liverpool side is one story that’s real trending now. Now we’re hearing he’ll probably be out for over 4-6 week which is a big blow especially for Liverpool who’re now on a serious chase for the league title with Man City, Arsenal. Let’s take away the focus from the EPL and look out the UEL where Liverpool are featuring, with Mo absent, I think Liverpool will not even get to the Semi Finals of this competition. I know Mo will be back before then but how sure are we he won’t have another slight hitch.

I think the Medical Team will have to try all possible best to get him to heal fast and on time because I don’t think they’ll want to lose grip on both the league and the UEL at large, besides they’ve got a final in about 4 weeks which Mo could probably miss if he’ll be out for that long.

How can you be sure that Liverpool without Salah will not qualify for the semifinals? Because after all, if for example it is true that Salah will be absent for a period of 4-6 weeks, but the reality is that Salah will still be available to play in the Europa League later. Because after all, the fact that Liverpool will just play in the knockout phase of the Europa League will also occur in March, waiting for the results that will occur first for the teams playing in the play off round in February.

After all, even if for example Liverpool still cannot play Salah in the Europa League but ya, I personally still believe Liverpool still have a chance to be able to qualify for the Europa League final match . I think, the biggest concern is not in the Europa League, but in the Premier League which really needs Salah in every match. Because ya, there in the Premier League the match will roll at least every week, plus the competition for the Premier League title is still very competitive.

I don't think that Roma would get eliminated by Feyenoord. These two teams faced each other in the Conference League and Europa League in the recent times. Roma beat them to win the Conference League title and eliminated them from the Europa League later on. I don't see much change in balances between these teams now either.

There is a difference at Roma side though. They have brought De Rossi to the coach position. Do you think that he can be successful as Mourinho in such European tournaments I mentioned? Because the Europa League title must also be a target for them.  Smiley
It is clear that As Roma's current condition is different when they beat Feyenoord in the Conference League final several seasons ago. At that time, As Roma already had chemistry between the players and coach Mourinho so their game became solid. So I don't think it's a benchmark that As Roma can beat Feyenoord in the last 16 of the Europa League.

Like Roma with new coach De Rossi, of course they have not fully adapted to their players, especially since De Rossi has no experience in European competitions as a coach, of course this will be an obstacle for As Roma in this match. Indeed, De Rossi in the first match managed to get three points in the domestic league against Verona, but this cannot be used as a reference because Verona is also a weak team. So my prediction is that As Roma will not be able to qualify against Feyenoord in the round of 16.

Feyenoord is a great club in Netherlands and with the efforts they've put in other to advance to this knockout stages, they might really be up to something surprising and looking at Roma, though they've got a new coach which is a former Roma player Danielle De Rossi who also knows Roma's tactics and understands their pattern of football but I doubt if he can be able to lead Roma to victory because he inherited the team from Jose Mourinho in the middle of the Europa kcompetition  so he might not actually have the experience that Jose Mourinho had that led to Roma qualifying for the round of sixteen so everything will still be very new in the eyes of the new coach as it will take him some time to understand more of Roma pattern of football and regardless of the fact that he won Hellas Verona last Saturday in the serie A isn't enough to applaud his performance as the new head coach of Roma pending subsequent performances

Actually there performance has already reduce do to the injury of Mohammed Salah because if Mohammed Salah had been on that match there is every chances that Liverpool would have won the match because there last meeting was not easy on Fulham because Mohammed Salah put a big pressure on them but watching there match yesterday the pressure was not that strong, although I'm not saying that Liverpool will no longer perform well but on the contrary what I'm saying is that the performance of Liverpool will no longer be the same again since Mohammed Salah is not there, however is going to affect there position on all the leagues they are  because other team will take advantage and push them down from there current position on the table.
Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's main player, has made quite a big contribution to the team, so if he is absent, of course it will have a small impact on the team's performance, but this doesn't have too big an impact, so I think whether Salah is present or not, the Liverpool team will still be strong.
I think what happens in the domestic league will be different from the Europa League because each team has a different focus in each competition they participate in.
I would guess that the impact will be a major one, but it also depends on who they are playing against. Looking at who they have/had games against, they weren't games that Liverpool needed Salah for, and they did alright so far without him.

I think he is a major player when it comes to bigger teams, because when you are playing against a great team, you will need every good player you have, and he is their best player, so when playing against a good team, they will need Salah. It's just AFCON, it will be over soon, and until the end of the season, they will do their best .Lucky for them that City missed KDB nearly all season so far, and Haaland is missing now, so while Liverpool is missing players, so does City, which makes them equals.

Roma have changed coaches. And Feyenoord is doing very well in the League. I think that will make a big difference to the performance and mentality of the two teams in that match. Initially I bet on Roma but looking at what has happened in the last few weeks I think Feyenoord will win and progress to the next round. Changing coaches is very crucial for a team and requires the return of the chemistry that was built by the previous coach. It's not like Matteo can give Chelsea the Champions League title right after Conte is sacked (cmiiw), unless the previous coach has abandoned a good squad he has built over several years. And whether Mou has left behind a solid Roma squad or it will be a tough job for De Rossi for the rest of the season.

You don't think so don't mean they won't win, the success of As Roma will not depend on your predictions it's all on em right now, they've seen a game won helping the new manager win his debut game as coach of his legendary club.
Winning the first time was with the help of Jose Mourinho as they went ahead to win during the Conference League Competition finals.
Man, I was expecting another defeat of European Conference League Competition with Jose Mourinho but he has been shown the exit already with that, I can't conclude and i take back my words.

There's only one way to find out about if De Rossi would be successful with As Roma. More six months and let's keep on monitoring his performance until the end of the season.

Feyenoord cannot be underestimated, even though in the previous meeting AS Roma managed to beat them, this will be an event of revenge for Feyenoord for their defeat at that time. Now AS Roma has a new coach after officially firing Jose Mourinho. De Rossi has a very difficult task, he carries great expectations from many people, especially from AS Roma supporters. He must be able to meet the expectations given and be able to present something for AS Roma.
I won't talk further like presenting a trophy for example, but I will see how he can bring about changes that will bring fresh air to AS Roma. The process is real and in the process he must show something that can answer the trust placed in him.
As the quality of AS Roma will be very favored to win the match because Feyenoord is not a heavy opponent for them to defeat. But even so AS Roma could not assume the match was easy because Feyenoord performed quite well in their last five matches in the Dutch League. De Rossi has a big responsibility to bring AS Roma to qualify for the next act in the European League and that responsibility is not easy because competition in this league will be far more competitive.

To speak the trophy may still be too far away because the quality of coaching de Rossi has no experience at all handling a large team. But at least the expectations that must be shown they qualify for the semifinals and after that we can see the extent of De Rossi's ability to present the title for AS Roma.

Since the departure of Mourinho Roma hasn't been doing any bad, they have so far performed so we'll that they have already won two games after Mourinho left, they are even showing some good improvement with their performance so far and their form hasn't gone any bad so I don't see them any lesser than they have been.

Roma have got good players but had a very technical coach in the person Mourinho whom it seemed they were yet to perfectly adapt to his style and tactics which did affected their results all along but so far with they new coach it's been quite different although it sounds like it's too early to be comending the coach already but he's showing some sense of trust in his ability. Feyenoord may not be able to displace Rome and even if they are able to do eventually, they will have it really difficult because Roma currently is such a weak side and will definitely give them a hard game to play.

The only thing that has changed a lot of romas has a new coach. Im doubting the performance from roma against feyenoord. Feyenoord was not that strong but since roma needs to adapt with the new coach and it makes the thing becomes even harder for roma to pass this stage.
There is a possibility that Feyenoord will adopt a different playing style when they go up against Roma. I remind you that the different coach meant different gameplay. Roma needs to put more effort to beat feyenoord caused by the new coach has no clue what was the main weakness of feyenoord.

Roma needs to put more effort to defending from feyenoord's attack soon. This is going to be a tough game for roma and i have no doubt that if the club will be playing badly against it.

There are numerous differences that set him apart from Mou. He has no experience in the european competition and how can i call that roma to compete with feyenoord while the club has only amateur coach who is now managing the club?
This is going to be a very important match for roma caused by it was able playing in the final last season. it will be so bad if roma will be out from europa league against feyenoord.

If the injury is not a serious one then there is every possibility of him recovering and still participating in the AFCON if they are not yet eliminated but i have come to understand that no matter how little the injury, the player must be out for a week or two and if Salah should be out for up-to two weeks then there would be no AFCON to participate in anymore as he would have missed out.
