But Salah plays an important role in every Liverpool victory. He can do many things like score goals and provide assists. I see that Salah is also a player who can create opportunities for other players because the opposing defender will mark him so that other players can move more freely. I think Liverpool will struggle without Salah. Their next matches are against Bournemouth and Fulhan in the EPL so we can see how Liverpool play without Salah in the starting XI.
Liverpool will struggle, but only for a few games, since Mohammed Salah picked up an injury in AFCON and is expected to miss two or more games. As we all know, the injury is minor in nature but Mohammed Salah can be replaced. Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool's head coach, is the principal guy in charge of making decisions and redirecting his team's path for the purpose to win important games. Remember, Mohammed Salah plays a major position in the club and has become a primary priority for the team's development.

At least Liverpool are still lucky because Salah only has a minor injury and won't take long to recover but indeed, if Salah suffers an injury it will have a big impact on Liverpool's performance. But at least, because the Liverpool squad also has good chemistry then yes, this factor will also be able to have a positive impact on the team's performance even if later, for example, Salah cannot play due to injury and Klopp makes a rotation.

But at the same time, of course we also consider the difficult competition in the Premier League and also, the competition in the European League which is entering the knockout phase is certainly not easy at all . Therefore, of course Liverpool must be able to make Salah recover quickly because after all, the main squad with key players will still be needed in a knockout phase like this.

However, sometimes decisions taken by team management make the situation worse.
For example, like Chelsea last season when they fired Tauchel and they were worse and also they changed coaches during the season and couldn't find a suitable replacement.

So satisfied with Roma at the moment, De Rossi is not a coach who has sufficient experience, in contrast to Jose Mourinho, so the decisions taken by Roma management make many people doubt Roma's current performance.
Personally, I do too, in fact I don't think Roma will go far in the Europa League this season.

I agree, lately I have seen club owners not being patient in waiting for their coach who has given brilliant achievements to the club to improve the team's performance again, not only Chelsea management has done this but Bayern Munich management has also done it.

When I first heard that Roma management had fired Mourinho, I immediately thought hard about what was really on their mind, why didn't they give Mourinho a little more time to improve his team's performance, especially since Roma will face Feyenoord and so far only Mourinho knows the details of the capabilities of each Roma player, but this has already happened, it seems Roma can no longer reconcile with Mourinho, we'll see how Roma performs in the hands of De Rossi.

Liverpool can survived without Mohammed Salah in the squad, they play together and the absence of Salah will not pose any threat.
But Liverpool relies heavily on Muhammad Salah to win in most of their games just as Manchester city rely heavily on Kevin De-bruyne to win most of their games as well, taking Salah out of the picture, the absence will really be felt in the Liverpool's future games; However, it doesn't mean that they can't survive without him, but they have to learn to win with or without his presence in the team.

I don't think it's true both teams really heavily on both players as mentioned by you above but then in the case of Manchester city it's no doubts how Kevin de bruyne has been of great impact to their performance and progress in the various leagues they play and all through the period of his injuries Manchester city has been doing well regardless which means the reliance on him isn't that heavy.

His return from injury has really helped Manchester city especially with the fact that haland and doku are currently not present too, with Liverpool Salah is a very key player who no doubts helps the team a great extent this will be the first time this season they are going to play in his absent for this long time, but then I'm sure they  will sur look for a good alternative in his absence even recently before Salah got injured at the AFCON, Liverpool were able to win a game in his absence and they did performed really welll which could means they don't have that much dependency on him but his presence has got a lot to helping them especially with creativity.

They are still extremely competitive, but it's always the same with world class players. When they are out for some reason, the team loses some of its world class. It would not be like that if the players weren't world class.

I disagree that these teams rely on Salah to win most of their games. It's in the nature of Salah and how good he is at the game that he scores most of the goals for the team. His contribution is bigger than that of others in terms of goals.

In my opinion Liverpool would still be the favorite for the title in the Europa League even if Salah was out for the rest of the season.

M Salah became Liverpool's mainstay, when Liverpool played without him, they seemed confused when attacking. I am well aware that it is a team game not an individual, but it cannot be denied that the role of one player is a key role for the club's success in playing the strategy instructed by the coach.
You are right when comparing Manchester City without Kelvin de Bruyne, we saw at the beginning of Manchester City playing without KDB they lost the midfield figure who was always the creator of attacks for them. Haaland too, who is accustomed to the mature passes provided by Kelvin de Bruyne, in fact cannot do much when KDB cannot play. Although in the end Manchetser City found a solution, we can see the difference.

I've visioned Liverpool to become one of the favourite to reach good positions in Europa League. Liverpool headcoach, Jurgen Klopp have implemented one of the best collective game pattern in Anfield and it have helped them achieve significant titles over these past years. Checking the club's lineup, they have efficient players that can enchanced the performance of the club and bring out the best among the best performance. Liverpool can survived without Mohammed Salah in the squad, they play together and the absence of Salah will not pose any threat.

I can't really say if liverpool was weak when it played without salah but we have seen that how jota played as a right wing and he has been performing quite well in the previous game. I can't deny that missing salah was a big blow for the club.
It's caused by salah just like a hero who is always helping the club to gather three points since it was struggling at the bottom place. Salah is the most important player owned by klopp and that's why he was really shocked after he has heard that salah was injured.
It was so annoying to see liverpool is going to miss salah soon. This is the problem that needs to be solved by the club. Jota could filling the position but his performance was no that good.

Klopp needs to find a good solution for this and the secondary player was not as good as jota or salah. Liverpool must put jota as right wing again in the upcoming game against bournemouth. It's caused by liverpool has no good option other than jota.
Im sure klopp is confusing about this right now and iiverpool may be buying a new right wing to be a backup for salah soon. Missing him was a disaster for the club.
There was big concern when Liverpool played without Salah up front, I think Egypt also felt the same way, and are currently trying to qualify for the next stage of AFCON. Salah injury has changed many things, because his role in the team is often the difference in the outcome of a match, but especially for the Europa League it doesn't seem like it will have a big impact, because the round of 16 matches will start on March 7, where Salah will likely be available again. However, if Salah still has to be sidelined due to a long injury, then it will be a serious blow for the Reds. The real worry is in domestic competition, where Klopp has had to struggle to get through several matches without Salah presence.

So far there is no certainty or definite date when Salah will be able to appear again, but Liverpool has updated information regarding its star on the club official website, which confirms that Salah will miss Egypt next two matches. However, the Reds did not mention when Salah would return to Anfield, but what is certain is that for some of their matches in the EPL, we will not see Salah in Klopp starting XI. But I think Liverpool will be fine, even though on the one hand they are having difficulty winning.

I think players with minor injuries should be rested unless there is a championship match or similar match. There is definitely another player in the team who can play instead of him. Salah is perhaps the most important player for Liverpool right now, if his injury becomes more serious and he strains himself, of course there will be much bigger problems. That's why it is very important for Salah to rest and return to the field as soon as possible.
Fortunately, Liverpool's opponent this week is not a very strong team, they can get rid of this injury problem without losing points

Salah's injury news hit me hard. Liverpool suffered a major setback, right? Salah is the team's engine, and without him, the Europa League gets bumpier. They said Klopp doesn't know how awful it is. Europa and the EPL must be hurting.

Now, I'm trying to be positive. Liverpool has depth and strength, but filling Salah's shoes? That's demanding. They'll push hard in Europa, but this may hurt their confidence. They'll need to be resilient, and I'm curious how they'll adjust without their great player.

Liverpool relies on Salah more than Leverkusen does on Boniface. This may provide them an edge in competition. Football—anything can happen, right?
It will be a problem indeed for Liverpool if at AFCON Salah gets injured but by looking at the statement given by the management of Egypt actually at this time we don't need to worry too much about this because Salah is only a minor injury and it happen to his hamstring so it won't be too disturbing for Salah because at this time he even has to rest but this willnt be disturbing for Liverpool.
The situation for Salah is now a little more under control so indeed IMO this will not be a serious impact because after all for Liverpool i must be quite sure that Salah will return in the same healthy state as his previous departure.Salah is a player who will definitely be guarded so in this case the news about Salah and the problem that occurred for his foot will definitely continue to be highlighted even though it is actually not a big problem.

The board's decision made a number of Roma fans not accept it and made many people surprised even though if you think about it Jose Mourinho is not a bad coach for Roma considering that he gave 1 title in his first season and in the second season he almost won the European League title and if only Roma keeping Jose Mourinho at least until the end of the season is not impossible for Roma to finish in the champions league zone because Roma still has a chance considering their ranking is not too far from the top 4 and the point difference is also not too big but unfortunately the Board has made a decision too quickly to terminate the contract with Mourinho and I are not sure the new coach can do better than Jose Mourinho.

With the change of coach, I doubt that Roma will be able to reach the Champions League zone this season because Jose Mourinho, who has a lot of experience, cannot bring Roma to the Champions League, especially with a coach who doesn't have better experience than Mourinho, so I think sooner or later the board will regret this decision. because he was too hasty in making the decision to fire Jose Mourinho.
Roma’s board decision to sack José Mourinho is one of their many decisions that has not been accepted by the fans because it seemed like a very poor and crazy decision. José is one coach that in his first season gave them a title, not just any title but an European title that’s one crazy success attained by the club in a long while.

Yes, they needed the UCL Spot next season and they felt it can’t be achieved forgetting that José is good when it comes to European competitions and they’re still very much in the UEL and are seen as one contender not because of anything but because of José. Well now let’s see how they’ll end up especially as they’ve shown Mourinho the exit door. José Mourinho is one quality that theyll be missing and it’ll be crazy if they don’t even make it past the UEL round of 16.

It will be interesting to see what he can bring to Roma, given the fact that it is difficult for me to imagine any Roma coach now who, with the existing set of players, could compete with the big four (obviously the Roma management dreams of this).
By the way, despite the fact that Rossi is the 2006 world champion and in general has an excellent playing career, I doubt that he has a champion mentality - if I'm not mistaken, he has 8 or 9 second places with Roma in Serie A. Now this sounds like an achievement, but just imagine what it’s like to lose the championship race so many times.
It's difficult but I think the main goal at the moment is not to expect the competition to go further but to focus more on improving their performance which is currently in a chaotic condition.

There are several players who can currently be maximized well by Roma but indeed this depends on whether De Rosi can maximize it well or not.
Currently Dybala, Paredes and Lukaku are actually still quite able to be used well because they are one of the good enough players that Roma have but in the Mou Era some time ago we know that the problem is not from the players but the style of play and the boring scheme because Mou always does a conservative strategy that can be said to have been left behind in the Modern football scheme like now.
If in the end De Rosi can change that I am still quite sure Roma will be able to do better but if De Rosi cannot maximize the current players then the situation like what happened to Napoli will definitely happen to Roma.

Dybal has 4 injuries this season, it can hardly be said that he did not have the opportunity to prove himself because of Mourinho. It is unlikely that a change of coach will help change Roma’s playing model and turn it into Liverpool  Cheesy for this, a certain selection of players is still needed.
In general, I don’t expect any “revelations” from De Rossi, rather, he will simply finish the season so that the management can choose a new coach in the summer, and not in a hurry now. Theoretically, if he now shows what Xabi showed at Bayer, he could be kept in his post for another season, but I don’t believe in such a scenario.

The cute news of Salah's injury is going to be a set back for Liverpool team and an advantage for others who are also top contenders for the Europa this season, even Leverkusen also have similar case with victor Boniface but I'm their case they have got just but a little dependence on victor than Liverpool does on Salah.

AC Milan is the only top team in the Europa currently with an even team because even Roma is currently having their own fair share of the whole issues as they are battling with the change of coach and trying to get along with their coach so the team gets back to their form, so it's very likely the round of sixteen will definitely going to be a bit though and maybe below expectations because the top teams at this point are having one thing or the other to battle with but then I still trust Liverpool and Leverkusen to be able to maintain their frame and get the best out of the Europa this season.

Salah remains Klopp mainstay for every match they play and Liverpool success in the Europa League will never be separated from Salah contribution as an attacking player who can always produce goals for Liverpool victory.
Just look during the group phase Liverpool performed very well and were able to top group E and now many people make Liverpool the favorite to win the title this season.
But there is Leverkusen who is in very good condition and maybe Leverkusen is the biggest threat to Liverpool.

In Liverpool match against Fulham, they will definitely win because they are ahead in the first match with an aggregate of 2 - 1.
Against Bournemouth, Liverpool will definitely win and everyone will know that.

It just that European League, Liverpool without Salah will also feel very difficult.

Well the board has decided and though their decision was a bot cray and irrational. Because they could have looked at Napoli who made some decision and look at what they’re facing currently. Jose gave this Roma team some success rating in hos first 2 seasons and now because of a little decline they let him go. Well i feel this decision will come hunting on them in no time as with the mew coach I don’t think they’ll be able to go beyond the Round of 16 oF the UEL.

Well he didn’t meet their UCL expectation and that’s why he was fired, I think this time it could be worse because they might not meet any European qualification still then they’ll realize what they’re in for, well I don't wish them bad but I just hope their new coach is equal to the task or would even get them into another UEL finals like José Mourinho did.

The potential consequences of the decision will be closely watched by fans and critics alike. It's natural to question the decision to part ways, especially given the abrupt change in management. Firing a manager due to a slight decline in performance may be perceived as a reactive move. While meeting UCL expectations is undoubtedly a priority for ambitious clubs, realistic goals and understanding the competitive landscape dont meet the investment needed. The shift in expectations could indeed come with its own set of challenges for the new coach.

Success in the UEL or securing European qualification would go a long way in justifying the decision to part ways with Mourinho.
Expressing optimism that the new coach is equal to the task shows the importance of giving the new manager time to implement their ideas and strategies. The hope is always that the club's leadership has a long-term vision in mind. Only time will reveal the true impact of the decision.

Indeed. Daniele De Rossi has no experience to manage any top team in Europe. I can understand if many people are very doubtful about his ability to manage AS Roma. However, every young manager will always begin with no experience. We must give him the chance to show his ability to be the manager of AS Roma. Since he was a great player, I am sure there is something that he can brings to improve AS Roma performance.

It will be interesting to see what he can bring to Roma, given the fact that it is difficult for me to imagine any Roma coach now who, with the existing set of players, could compete with the big four (obviously the Roma management dreams of this).

In football, anything can happen although the ability of a coach to push the team to winning is what defines a good coach, and regardless of what the level of the mess with the club, what concern the coach most should be winning at all costs.

That is the reason you see club sacking their coach whenever they failed to deliver the winning in any match, take Chelsea for example, when the club was having crisis, they went forth to employ coach and in next few matches when the coach failed to deliver, the got them sacked from the club and that was it, so the coach is at the center of everything as long as performance in concern with the club/team

Salah picked up a hamstring injury near the end of the first half of the Egypt - Ghana match. Klopp said that he had no idea about the extent of Salah's injury yet. I also hope not to see Salah suffering a long-running injury period. Otherwise it is a big issue for Liverpool not only in the Europa League but also in the EPL.

Because I believe they technically have a potential to win both titles this season. But without Salah this is just much more difficult to achieve.

Klopp wanted Salah to be back early at Liverpool but not like this.  Sad

I've discussed this in the Premier League thread. The wrong injury will make Liverpool experience a bad situation in every match. Liverpool will have difficulty competing in the Champions League and will have difficulty winning the Premier League title this season. It is said that Salah suffered a hamstring injury which is an injury that takes quite a long time to recover. I don't know if this news is true or not so cmiiw. If this is true then this will make Liverpool the favorite team to win the Champions and EPL in my personal opinion.
Sorry, I've fixed it. Maybe what you mean is that Liverpool is having difficulty competing in the Europa League, not the Champions League.

This is what Kloop was afraid of, but in the end it happened, that's why in an interview a few days ago he said he wanted Egypt to collapse immediately so they wouldn't qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations final, so he could quickly return to Liverpool. But now Moh Salah is injured, of course this will make Kloop dizzy. The injury suffered by Moh Salah is of course very detrimental to Liverpool at the moment because Liverpool has the ambition to win the EPL League and European League. Without Moh Salah, Liverpool will have difficulty achieving their ambitions. Indeed, currently Liverpool does not only rely on one player, but losing Moh Salah has made them lose strength on the front line and lose fear of their opponents.

Did Klopp really say that? It is really not his style to wish his players the worst with their national teams, it would surprise me if he did. But maybe you can share the interview if you find it. It is not typical for him.

The injury is said to not be serious, but I couldn't find very good and reliable information. But it could soon be over for Egypt anyway if they lose the game against Cape Verde.
