Mourinho will want to make another history with Roma in Europe. He probably won't sign a new contract with Roma and this season is a last one for him in Roma. No better goodbye than a big title in Europe, Europa League trophy. He nearly got it in the last season with Roma and will really want to have it this season.

Round of 16 is nearly in hands of Roma and winning against Slavia Prague will help them to have another step to get it.

They are not at that position because their player resource is not too deep. Their attacking power depends too much on Lukaku and Dybala. Lukaku can help them to have goals but he needs key passes, assists and in Roma currently, no player can do this better than Dybala. The Argentinian player is very important for Roma but he is very sensitive with injuries. Roma can lose him by an injury anytime and when if happens, they will suffer significant effect on their attacking power.

Liverpool looks to be a better team and they are best choice to win Europa League this season.

Right now, Roma with Jose Mourinho are the serious side at treating Europa League games, because they see this competition as the most possible way for them to get a trophy. against Slavia Prague, Roma will go on full force to win the game because they want to guarantee their spot in Round of 16, so they can focus to progress their position in the league.

For me, Roma are the most favorite side to win UEL Trophy. They may be not stronger than Liverpool, they have more desire in this competition than Liverpool have, because Liverpool dont see this competition as their priority.

Forget EPL, we are heading toward europa league. Liverpool is definitely the strongest one in this group. There's no need to feel doubt about that. Look at the previous stats owned by liverpool. This club is actually in another level compared with the opponents in the group.

Slavia Prague is an important team, but it cannot be compared to Roma. Roma has a great squad in the European league. They are one of the teams that can win the European league. I think it would be a big surprise if Slavia Prague wins this match.

We have three big teams from the different leagues which are giving their best in Europa Cup and their performance is indicating we can expect them to fight for the title race AS Roma, Bayer Leverkusen and Liverpool even currently mostly are feeling Liverpool is very strong and best, but anything can happen in coming matches Liverpool having good advantages but on match day any team can create upset which could be hurt any big team AS Roma is doing impressive in this league even they are not good in Serie A with Bayer Leverkusen is at the top of the Bundesliga and Liverpool is at the third spot in Premier League these are strong candidates for the title but not guaranteed about the win of cup as well.

Last season AS Roma also managed to reach the final round in the Europa League. And it's possible that this season Roma will achieve the same thing. So in group G, I think Roma will qualify without any problems. Slavia Prague is also likely to progress to the next stage. But in the match which will take place in the next 3 days, I am sure that Roma will win again. Because even though Slavia Prague may be a fairly strong team in Group G, they are still not comparable to AS Roma, who are experiencing quite impressive improvements at the moment. Jose Mourinho and his troops look like they will beat Slavia Prague quite convincingly. And ensure that Roma remains at the top of Group G.

Even I agree this just because of right now talking about title race is not ideal because many changes can happen and after teams from the Champions League joining this league things can go in any way last season we also have two English teams which were favorite to win in early rounds, but both suffered in knock out rounds.

I think, Liverpool is coming up to take their good position in many competition in this season because they have succeeded in defeated many strong teams in the premier league competition and the UEFA Europa league competition that is giving their fans hope of winning this season title. If Liverpool can maintain this good performance in this season, I think they will be able to do well in the premier league competition but Manchester city will never allow them to come close to first position because their players are well organized to make things happen again like the way it happened last season that made Liverpool to ended up in third position. Liverpool defenders are the major strong back bone of Liverpool in this season, because they have helped the team to make the defensive more tight for their opponent not to score a single goal until they win the match with many goals.

@makishart Jose Mourinho is very experienced when it comes to such matches and he very well knows that he needs to target all the points to make sure that Roma comfortably secures the top spot hence I feel that while he’ll park the bus but he’ll yet want to win this game. Furthermore a win here could be a good boost for Roma player’s  as they haven’t played well this season hence I strongly feel that they’ll be able to win this game against SK Slavia Prague.

I don't even think the injury will be affecting the performance from the club. Roma is still having some important players being able to play in upcoming games. Roma needs to win at least 2 more matches to make sure it was in the safe position.
I think that jose mourinho will be doing a small rotation in the line up but by still putting lukaku and dybala in. There will be no a lot of changes are going to happen with roma. All of teams in the group are not that strong.
Roma can get perfect win till the last matchday of europa league group stage. Jose will again count on lukaku. Roma's performance is quite good in serie a right now and i expect the same thing to happen with roma in the europa league as well.

There is no doubt that Liverpool can secure a ticket to the next round of this season in the Europa League, they are favorites from the start. I believe Liverpool has a big chance of winning the title because of the quality and depth of its squad, but no one can be sure that even on paper Liverpool is the team that deserves to win it.

Everything could still change when Liverpool get a comparable opponent in the knockout stages, but of course if they get a good team like the team that dropped out of the Champions League due to failing to qualify for the round of 16. Several other teams are also favorites, but I tend to believe that Liverpool is one of them.

Well, this is the first time I read a post like what you said. honestly, we agree with what you said. However, that doesn't mean that Jurgen Klopp doesn't want to win the Europa League trophy, but the pawn is how Klopp and his team will survive and consistently remain in the top four of the standings until the 2023/2024 season ends. Currently, Liverpool is in 3rd place in the Premier League standings and is only 2 points behind Aston Villa who is in 5th place. But in reality, Klopp's goal is not this competition. but as you said, they will focus on competing in their Domestic League.

However, it cannot be ruled out that Liverpool have the opportunity to progress smoothly and survive until the eighth round or the last four, then clearly, Klopp will be serious about aiming for this trophy too. It's just that, for him, his current priority is focused on the Domestic League. IMO, Klopp doesn't want his team's squad to experience many problems like last season with many injured players.  plus, poor team performance. Moreover, Liverpool is still involved in three different competitions. A busy schedule can create problems for them later. This means that Klopp has to adjust his team when playing match after match. in fact, if I'm not mistaken. One of the Saudi clubs is still eyeing Moh Salah even in the upcoming January transfer window. meaning, if the club offers fantastic value, Liverpool could let him go. thus, they can add some new ammunition with and sale of Moh Salah. btw, this is just a personal assumption.

As for the Toulouse vs Liverpool match, however, Liverpool is always superior regardless of their opponent in this group E phase.  in fact, Toulouse is not an equal opponent for Liverpool. except, Klopp gives options to his second tier players. But theoretically, Liverpool will not have any problems in this group E phase. their chances of qualifying and becoming first place, the probability is very high.

Of all the leaders in the different groups I see only one serious opponent for Liverpool so far, it's Roma. They have won different European Cups in the last few years, maybe this season they will get to the final again. But for now it is hard to talk about the final. but the injury problem that has affected Roma could make Mourinho choose to rotate players in this game and then in the remaining two games, as they are games against weaker teams, he would put his best players on, the odds for this game are very high for both teams, which shows that bookmakers are in the same line of thinking as I am. Considering Liverpool's record in the Champions league and for them to be finding it difficult both in the Europa league and champions league is very bad, they should utilize this resilience they've shown so far in the Europa league and make a difference this season.

There performance so far both in premiership and the Europa league have been very impressive. I believe the reason why they didn't take the match against Luton so serious was because they are more concerned and focused on their Europa league match against Toulouse on Thursday.

It could be said that even though they are favorites, sometimes luck has other plans, in the sense that Liverpool could stumble in the future. I think that makes sense, and this also applies generally to all teams taking part in this European League competition. As the season progresses in the EPL and Europa League, Klopp squad will receive a priority scale for each competition they participate in, meaning which trophy is more realistic to achieve and they will choose the easiest path to get there.

The Reds current performance is considered stable, even though in the previous match against Luton they were forced to share points because the match ended with a score of 1-1. However I don't think this will have much of an impact on their next match against Toulouse, I think the Reds will win this match.

I do agree that they will take it seriously, but even while taking it seriously, that doesn't guarantee that they will get a win, it's not going to be all that simple. I think it's clear that not a lot of people could have the same type of approach to playing at Europa, and Liverpool consists of 11 starters and some bench players that will get in the game, so at least 15-16 players that will play each game. Not all of them could approach it with same seriousness, and that could result with them not having a win eventually.

Last year United and Juventus lost too, and they were considered best, Barcelona lost to United, and United lost to sevilla. This is a proof that some teams take it more seriously than the others for sure.
