Union Saint-Gilloise turns out to be a pretty good team. I looked up their history and they finished second in the Belgian championship in 2021/2022, and before that they finished second in 1922/1923. The team has been dormant for almost a hundred years. It's amazing that they've managed to get to such a good level. Liverpool put out their strongest lineup, apparently Klopp did not want to repeat his mistake in the last round, when he put out a reserve team and Liverpool only with Salah could win.

This time Klopp decided to play with the strongest lineup and it is right, because in my opinion, Union Saint-Gilloise still played for one goal, but unfortunately they were unlucky and failed to score.

Liverpool was having UCL quality but this club was playing at the lower tier competition compared with UCL. UCL has become the most favorite to win the game. I have removed brighton from the list of potential team to win europa league this season yet we will have 8 teams to come from UCL caused by they were unable to pass the group stage. we may see another favorite candidate to win europa league like sevilla again. Sevilla has a chance to go down again to the europa league.
Liverpool is very strong right now in domestic or europa league.

Liverpool wins again, they humbled Union Saint-Gilloise 2 nil at Anfield, another cleansheet bagged by Liverpool. They dominates every piece on the pitch with no breathing space for visitors. Perhaps the Union Saint-Gill fought really hard to score but got denied by the unstoppable defendlines set by Jurgen Klopp. Alexander Blessin made severe attempts but all to no avail, probably he will look forward to improved his team's performance because there's really alot of work to do because there performance against the Reds was poorly rated.

Jose Mourinho is an ambitious coach and he really want to win titles in cup format that is his favorite. His philosophy is more suited with cup format than league format and he just proved it again in two latest seasons with AS Roma by going to two final matches in Conference League and Europa League.

This season, AS Roma have some good players from free transfers, loans and spent very little cost for transfer market in the summer. With Lukaku, Roma will no longer have to worry about AS Roma striker position. They even have a better version of Belotti in this season and furthermore, they also have Sadar Azmoun from Leverkusen as well. In some recent matches, they had problems with defense but I believe with Mourinho, they will tighten their defense system soon.

Roma will not have big chance in Serie A after bad beginning and their player resource is not actually too deep and competitive enough for Serie A. They will aim at top four and a position that can help them to be eligible as one of representatives of Seria A in Champions League 2024 - 2025. Winning Scudetto is out of their ability and even they want to fight for it, they must improve and appear in top four first.

In the press conference before a match with Servette, Mourinho stated that he does not want Roma to have two play-off matches with a club drops from Champions League because it is very risky. He want Roma to get a first position in the group and official go to a next round without play-off matches. However I feel that prioritising this competition could effect Liverpool’s chances of winning the premier league if any of Liverpool key player’s get injured due to constantly playing in such a short duration.

It's not easy to say that. Manchester United performed really well last season, so they deserve to be in the Champions League this season. If Liverpool can keep up their form and secure a spot in the Europa League as well as win the Premier League, that wouldn't be a bad outcome, right? 
And it seems like they're on the right track. They showed their strength by playing their best lineup and securing the top spot in the standings. It's been quite a while, since 1976, since they last won this cup. The most recent time they reached the final was in 2015-2016, but unfortunately, they lost to Sevilla.

But this time the opponent cannot be considered low because Marseille already has more experience competing in Europe than Brighton, so when Brighton can only draw, it seems natural, especially since this is an away match for them.
And looking at the group where Brighton is, the possibility of them getting into the knockout rounds is very small, especially in two matches where they only scored one point, maybe they don't have the mental strength to compete in Europe.

After an exciting champions league run on Wednesday, I did forget that there is an Europa League, not until I stepped out of my house to get stuffs in a grocery shop that I watched how Liverpool was able to win their match.
Well, I felt disappointed that Liverpool is playing Europa League because Liverpool is obviously a champions league club. Assuming they got the slot of Manchester United, it is obvious that they would have done better than Manchester United is doing currently.

Jose Mourinho always has big ambitions in every competition, he continues to do something so that his team can achieve its targets. As Roma under Mourinho's control began to improve, but several problems emerged because he failed to fulfill his ambitions. This season he has to be patient because Gialloroasi's performance was chaotic when he started the season, but slowly he will return to make the team's performance better. That's probably true. It's still possible for brighton to feel awkward to play in the europa league. This club was rarely playing in the european competition and that makes brighton has no strong mentality unlike another team like liverpool which is very strong in europa league.
Brighton was just getting draw against marseille. Brighton placed at the bottom standing now. It's very bad to see one of the potential club in EPL had been suffering it the problem to win the game in EPL right now.

I never predicted that brighton will be playing so poorly in europa league. The club loses its ability to play the good ball. Brighton will not able to go to the play off stage if the club keeps repeat the same mistake agani.
The draw against marseille was enough in putting this club at the bottom.

They've had two loses already, they have to show strength now, I really want to see how he handles this situation and bring them back to winning ways. I do feel like it has to do with the new players and experience who haven't had enough time to learn about and to blend in together amongst the old set of players.

They've found it difficult winning the first two games of the Europa League Competition and you expect them to get three points against
Ajax. Though, Ajax are also strugglers and won't expect much from the game. They fail to get three points against Ajax?  it'll be the finally difficult when they realize it.  I do hope the best for them though.

In my opinion, in Group B these 4 teams have almost the same strength between them so that when their match takes place it will be quite difficult to determine the final result of the match. Even in today's match, Brighton almost lost, but it was fortunate for them because they had a chance from the penalty spot which was completed well by Joao Pedro which made the final result end in a draw. Even though Brighton is a strong team in the Premier League, in the European League they sit in 4th place with 1 point.

In today's match, Brighton experienced a big problem in maintaining their best form in this match because the home team was able to score goals more quickly which made Brighton have difficulty in stabilizing their game. But there are still 4 other matches that Brighton can take advantage of to improve their ranking in the standings table.

I think that Marseille is playing below their standards in the league and that makes them look like a team that Brighton should easily beat, but that is not the reality. I wouldn't say that Marseille is much stronger, but they are probably significantly stronger than their current standing in the table says and it was a home game for them.

The funniest part for me was that when the game was at 25 minutes I went to see the odds value and even though Olympique was winning by 2 - 0, the odds for if Olympique won the whole game were still above 1.35 , it was as if the bookmakers didn't see that current result as a result that would end the game, and I also didn't believe in Brighton's defeat, so I decided that I would at least bet on Brighton's victory or draw, I decided to leave for a while to go buy something and then I would go back and bet on Brighton and West Ham who were also winning and the game had a good odds, if my memory doesn't betray me it was odds of 1.12 or 1.45, but I had already bet in advance on liverpool to win in their game against union

At most I would only bet on a draw or victory, and not just a victory.
