The truth is that these teams are quite strong, it is difficult to make the decision whether one is going to lose or another, because they are all very good, although I have some favorites here, like Ajax, like Liverpool, they are teams that represent a good level of football, They are a great moment away from doing great things, I know a lot about Liverpool, the truth is, this is one of the things that I really like about this team, and the truth is I feel that these teams in the Europa League are very good and have a lot to offer. where I hope that they do things excellently, for me things when they are about the Europa League after the experience of the previous season, left our hair standing on end, it is something that we did not expect, where many had more of our favorites and others well They won, despite everything for me the Europa League is a competition that has a very high level, plus the players of each team are there right now it is difficult not to be watching it in the UCL, but that's what football is like, things that happen that we didn't know who hated to make or fall to the Europa League where they can be crowned and win a good place in the UCL.


Liverpool is one of the teams that I like the most here, because they have very good Players, I Think I already see them with a different Attitude, I don't know what happened to them in the previous season, because I didn't see them at their maximum splendor, I don't know why. They would have Thought that it was overwhelming them, but I think that things have changed more in favor of them, Ajax is also a team that will Surprise me, because it is so that it is also in the UCL, but you have to see something that here the teams have increased the level , teams that are in the UCL that I thought would not be there and I was surprised, well Sevilla is a team I never thought would win Against Mou's team, that is something that catches my attention, in fact Mou is one of those who claimed the most in the final of the Europa League, I Cannot deny it, they had a lot of hopes for Roma, now this is a new season that there is a lot to Prove.

I really curious how Brighton can play so bad against AEK Athens which isn't a top team in Super League 1, this is really unexpected result, I guess they're don't have a good mentality to play in Europa League.

Their next matches are against Marseille, tougher than AEK Athens. They need to be careful against Aubameyang because he can give a surprise.

If you look at the strength that the Liverpool team currently has, this is very possible.
They really deserved the victory in this first match. The quality of the Liverpool team was much better and even though they were 1 goal behind in the first half, it was not difficult for them to turn things around in the second half.
I see Klopp rotating players a lot here and I think that's quite natural because they are not playing against a team that is strong or comparable to them.

Below are the results of the opening match of the group stage and it is clear that many of the results were in line with predictions and there were also results that did not match expectations. Liverpool victory over Lask didn't surprise me even though they conceded in the early minutes. Because after this goal Liverpool increased the pressure which ultimately made the opponent's mentality start to waver, instead of Lask's players trying to get out of the pressure they just defended and it was clear that Liverpool could turn things around in the second half. Darwin Nunez's opening goal at the penalty spot gave him more confidence to score again.

Because he doesn't play in the Champions League automatically, Klopp will try to focus on winning the Europa League trophy and if you look at his journey, I'm optimistic that it will support Liverpool.

Klopp knows which teams are strong and which teams are mediocre that's why he rotates players to secure mainstay players which will be used in important matches
Initially there was a surprise in the first half but Liverpool was able to overcome it and secure the match, this victory was an important moment for Liverpool to face other important matches ahead.

It felt like Brighton deserved to win the match more than AEK Athens based on their play, but Brighton's fault was none other than their defense not being able to prevent conceding many goals from Athens players. Brighton dominated the match well, but Athens' defense was able to anticipate attacks even though they made two mistakes which resulted in penalties for Brighton.

AEK Athens knew they would not win this match easily, therefore they really implemented a defensive strategy and counterattacked to steal a goal. The results obtained by Athens are positive, but I don't think Brighton will give up and fail in this group stage.

It was a predicted win, but I didn't expect Liverpool to concede 1 goal even though I think their defense has tended to be better at the start of this season. Liverpool are favorites in the group stage so I don't think they will drop any points from all the games they will play.

The first half almost surprised me because Liverpool's opponent was really the team that was not the favorite in this match. However, they were able to take an early lead through a goal scored in the 14th minute which they managed to maintain until the end of the second half. Indeed, the hosts' efforts to secure full points in this match really did not materialize because Liverpool fielded their best players in the second half which made their game more aggressive and in the second half Liverpool were able to turn things around.

This victory was quite impressive because Liverpool was not ready with a second tier squad to beat LASK Linz. Because the second layer of players is not really strong in keeping up with the opponent's game. Salah, Nunez and Diaz each scored 1 goal in the second half which made Liverpool seal victory in this match.

Unpredictable with Brighton Albion first performance in  UEFA Europe League, they have quit well performance in Premier League and leaded top  5th standings position but have got loss from AEK Athens. Looking for opportunity in Europe League Group B seems difficult for Brighton Albion because left matches against Ajax  Amsterdam and Marseille. Have positive side due other match between Ajax vs Marseille have draw and not really far points difference, I don't close speculation about  Brighton Albion opportunity qualifying to next round or not because have 5 matches left in group stage and still large opening chance for winning all matches left and qualifying to the next round.

Other Premier League teams Liverpool success win on first match from LASK, conceded early but can't stopping Liverpool come back and winning over 1-3 trough goals scoring by Darwin Nunez, Luiz Diaz and Mohamed Salah.

Good result for Liverpool that they had starting this league with the winning result and indeed this result is predictable because mostly people predict Liverpool will easily to beat LASK Linz and according to the starting lineup i can see Klopp did a rotation on Liverpool squad even he didn't played the players such as Gakpo, Jota or Alisson but seems it doesn't matter because Stefan Bajčetic and Kelleher can able to performing well even 17 years old player Ben Doak has been done a fantastic debut in this match

Meanwhile Leverkusen has showing their domination against FC Hacken yesterday that they can able to win with big scores at their home ground 4-0 and during the match i can see Boniface and Xhaka were became an the most dangerous players in the match especially Boniface that i can see at least he did 3 times shot attempts which make FC Hacken players looks hard to guard him and Leverkusen has successfully to resumes their their unbeatable records became to 9 matches in all competitions

well, of the teams that I talked about in this thread, they all won, so it will not be necessary for me to talk about them again since it was also very obvious that they would win, so I will talk about the games in which their results left me very surprised. The first game in which the result surprised me was Brighton's game against AEK Athens. I expected Brighton to be able to win this game, even on paper they were seen as the favorites to win, but I confess I'm surprised by this result, Brighton only managed to score 2 goals thanks to 2 penalties, that was Brighton's luck , if there hadn't been these 2 penalties, Brighton would have lost by 3 goals without scoring a goal, AKE scored 3 goals that didn't need to benefit from a penalty

the second game was ajax against olympique, I know that ajax has been in decline since last season and they have been dropping in performance, they are no longer that strong team, they might not even come close to winning the European competitions, but at least They were a team that won games against certain European teams from big leagues, but today Ajax loses easily against any team. In this game for example they were winning by 2 goals and hadn't conceded a goal, all they needed to do was manage the result, but 3 minutes (it wasn't even many minutes that passed) after Ajax scored the second goal they conceded 1 goal , it seemed like it was the announcement that Olympique would score more goals and win the game, and 13 minutes later Olympique scored the second goal and the game was tied

In other words, in the 1 half in which Ajax could have won with 2 goals, they ended up with a draw, which means that Ajax conceded 2 goals in the 1 half, okay, it could still be reversed in the 2 half and that's what happened, ajax scored the third goal and with that they are already winning the game, again they just needed to strengthen the defense so as not to concede any more goals and with that they would win the game, but olympique showed that in this game they would only come out with a draw or victory, at 73 minutes Olympique scored the third goal and the game was tied again. It was already clear that if Olympique had more time, they would have won this game. I wonder if ajax will be able to pass this group, I have doubts that this will happen

Liverpool new that if the quality of its opponent was far below it. That's why the first half is only become a time for klopp to give experience to the young players.
Liverpool was able to change the situation anytime as it has some of best players. Glad liverpool was winning the game in this case. The only thing that surprises me is how brighton was losing against AEK.
AEK used parking buss strategy which is making brighton players feel so frustrated.

The match between toulouse and gilloise was equal. The stat has been also showing it too. I would not be surprised with the result.
The unfamiliar clubs looked like very strong at this moment like AEK and rangers.

I was just shocked to see AEK defeat Brighton. I was doubting that the team would lose to Brighton given how well they are performing in the Premier League, so I wasn't expecting this to be the outcome. Brighton was supposed to win that game, so they weren't making me happy after the loss. I was worried that Salah might not be available for today's games after observing how massively Liverpool's goals were equalized, but I stated that even if the team was missing players due to injuries, Liverpool would still defeat LASK since they are not that weak. I think group H will be much more challenging than we initially anticipated, and I was just thinking that Brighton won't get past the group stage if they play another club from that stage right now. It will be very difficult for Brighton to advance to the Euro League.

I’m going to be honest, I’m not happy we’re in this competition. After reaching 3 CL Finals between 2018 & 2022, being in the EL does not feel good.

Good win today yes, hopefully we use the group stage to give some of the guys game time who don’t get lots of minutes in the PL. We need our squad players to be match fit.

If we go far in the competition I would be in favour of playing our best XI to try to win the trophy but at the moment we have to prioritise our Premier League campaign. We are a CL team, not a EL team. Hopefully this season is a one off, I expect us to be back in Europe’s premier competition next season.

Yeah Brighton game made me feel like I might underestimated AEK Athens or overestimated Brighton a little bit maybe.
The actual result is Brighton (home) 2 - 3 AEK Athens. The two goals of Brighton were scored thanks to penalties. The game almost finished with a very bad result for them..
In the other games, Liverpool, Leverkusen, Rennes, Atalanta and West Ham did pretty well with 2 goals difference or more. Olympiacos 2 - 3 Freiburg for the moment and Ajax 3 - 3 Marseille!

Group B has started wonderful. Both of the games being played are going on with many goals and there is a tie for both now. Ajax - Marseille is 3-3 and Brighton - AEK is 2-2 now. I'm surprised with the Brighton game the most because I wasn't expecting Brighton to have this much difficulty.

While I was making this post Brighton conceded another goal, unbelievable! It looks like they really don't want to achieve something good in the Europa League. I don't think they have such option considering their history with European competitions. They are normally the second biggest title contender according to bookmakers.

That was a fantastic result from Liverpool's end, I had this confidence in Liverpool winning the game tonight even when they were losing 1:0 initially to their opponent, I knew they were going to come back to defeat their group contender, LASK Linz before the end of the match.  
Not only am I expecting Liverpool to top their group but also to be a team I'm looking forward to seeing in the final game of this season's Europa Cup compittion.

I didn’t get to watch the Liverpool game but, reading from you guys and am like, is it the same Liverpool we are talking about? Against Lask links at that! Just how dangerous can they be to Liverpool…? I get it that Liverpool has dropped in performance but, this is a team that is capable of attempting a come back and succeeding as they did over the weekend, it’s just a matter of a few changes and the game is set for a win. You can count on J. Klopp to do that. Lask Links isn’t a bad team but, they ain’t no match for Liverpool even as weak as the team is perceived to be.

It’s Brighton Hove Albion against AEK Athens and I must say, it’s not been a pleasing watch with the many errors that the Brighton defense line are committing. 3 nice goals in the game so far, 2 for AEK Athens and 1 for Brighton from a penalty spot. I am still hoping Brighton could turn this game around but, they just don’t come with the same energy as in the premier league.

Well a team can never be too sure as you are saying it to be. Liverpool are a good team and although I actually played them to win this game but I must admit I was still scared seeing them go a goal behind and I although I still had some faith but comon it's football anything can happen and I was just glad kloop could feature some main player that eventually changed the game entirely.

Liverpool won 3-1 away against LASK Linz. After conceding an early goal in the first half, Liverpool managed to win with a different style of play in the second half.Liverpool equalized with Darwin Nunez's penalty goal and took the lead 2 minutes after the substitutions were made.Mohamed Salah scored the winner.Liverpool will easily come out of this group as the leader.
In the other match of the group, Toulouse managed to get a draw from a difficult away game.Toulouse, who took the lead with a penalty goal in the last minutes of the first half, could not keep the score.In minute 70, US Gilloise scored the equalizing goal.
