There are many differences between the Champions League and the European League. The best teams in Europe participate in the Champions League tournament, Bayer Leverkusen, Atalanta are definitely lucky because they qualified for the next Champions League tournament. But the reality is that they will not be able to take much advantage of the team they have participated in the next Champions League tournament because they must form a strong team in the Champions League tournament to achieve well. Bayer Leverkusen, Atalanta are the champions and runners-up of the European League tournament and these two teams have performed well in their respective leagues so they must prove that they are definitely eligible for the Champions League.
The difference between the champions league and the Europa is obviously very clear and not even such that can be compared, the only very obvious similarities would be that they are both football games and have to be played by same number of players a d officiated by the same number of referee aswell but when it comes to value and the drive that comes with the champions league, it's definitely nothing compared with the Europa, this doesn't mean the Europa isn't a prestigious trophy but the champions league is higher.
Top Europa league teams this season having to participate in the champions league is such that even the team know and understands so well that it's going to be a totally different experience but then top team such as Atlanta and Leverkusen, let's not forget were champions too, Leverkusen was a champion in their domestic league and so was Atlanta in the Europa, and they also had a decent finish in their domestic league too, so as champions, I believe they will be able to contend in the league where they now belong, so I wouldn't see them any less or even think they may not do any better.
I will rather wait till the champions y have come to the point either of them gets eliminated then I will say probably they have not be good enough especially if the get eliminated too early , that in the long run will serve as an experience for them because especially for Leverkusen, they don't seem to have enough of a champions league experience so maybe they will add this to it and hopefully one day they become a top contender in the champions league.
These two teams have done well in the Europa League competition as well as in the league tournaments they have played well enough compared to other seasons to qualify for next season's Champions League. No matter how low a team is in their own league, if the team can have a good season and move from number one to number four in the points table, they will earn a ticket to the Champions League. Big teams always participate in the Champions League competition.
In the just-concluded Champions League tournament, we saw Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich playing against each other, while Barcelona, Dortmund and PSG played in the other group. This saw the big teams in the Champions League pitted against each other and the weaker teams pitted against each other.
Due to this, a weak team and a strong team fought in the final match. But if the competition had been changed in a different way, maybe the final semi-final matches of the Champions League would have been more difficult.
