Atalanta, who will be Leverkusen's opponent in the final match, just suffered a defeat to Juventus in the Coppa Italia final match, they had to lose with a score of 1-0 which meant they ultimately failed to become champions in the Coppa Italia. This is good for Leverkusen, because before their match against Atalanta, their opponents had to achieve disappointing results which might affect their mentality in the next match.

If I compare Juventus, it is not better than Leverkusen and Alatanta lost to Juventus, so Leverkusen should have won in this final match. This is like a linked thing, because in football anything can happen. Lol

I want to see how Atalanta will play their best in this match to ensure they can win the title this season. If they manage to do that, then it will be a great season for them. But the problem is that their opponents are Leverkusen who we know how terrible they have been this season.

The defeat suffered by Atalanta could possibly be a blessing for Bayer Leverkusen because if that loss has a significant impact on the morale of the Atalanta players, that would clearly give Bayer Leverkusen a benefit in the Final. Apart from that, Bayer Leverkusen clearly has an advantage at the moment because they have confirmed themselves as Bundesliga champions, so they will have plenty of time to rest their key players. Whatever results they achieve in the Bundesliga will no longer have an impact.

This is different with Atalanta because they still have to fight to defend their place in the Champions League next season, so they don't have many options other than having to play their best squad in every match. So if anyone experiences an injury then it will be detrimental to Atalanta.
we don't know what the final result of the match between Leverkusen and Atalanta will be and we will also never know whether Atalanta really competed seriously against Juventus in the Coppa Italia match, but what is certain is that when they enter the final round, both teams will definitely have the same goal to win this prestigious title with maximum appearance and maximum performance.
everyone knows that whatever Atalanta will do will definitely only cause difficulties for Leverkusen but it is difficult to beat Leverkusen and this is only based on speculation from the difference in consistency and performance of the two teams.
yesterday's defeat in the Coppa Italia may have had a slight impact on the self confidence of the Atalanta players, but we also don't know whether all of this will really make the Atalanta players lose their enthusiasm and what is certain is that Atalanta will definitely appear stronger in the next match.

IMO, from the predictions that have been discussed several times here, it looks like Leverkusen will only win by a narrow score or it could be 2-1 for Leverkusen win and this is just speculation because seeing the opportunity that Atalanta can achieve is only 1 score and Leverkusen deserves to get it 2 scores.

Juventus scored an early goal and then the whole game was focused on defense, which Alegre knows how to do if necessary. Juventus was simply luckier in this match and I am a little surprised that such a good attack from Atalanta could not score a single goal.

Maybe this final was very revealing. I’m not sure that Juventus is now stronger than Bayer, so Atalanta in the EL final will definitely not be easier than it was in the Italian Cup final. But the fact is that this is the final and anything can happen in one match, if in the match with Bayer Atalanta manages to score a quick goal, then everything may not go according to Alonso’s scenario, but it’s too early to assume now, we need to see how this match starts. Atalanta is a very unpredictable team.

If I remember correctly, the final Bundesliga match happened on the 18th, against a team who never won in their last 4 matches. The UEL final happened on the 23rd, so there are four days to take a breather. I dunno how important a season without defeat is, but I'm sure good player management is necessary to make sure they have good match fitness for the final while being sufficiently rested. Even if some people view UEL as a second-tier competition, I'd still take it if I could only choose between winning it and losing the final Bundesliga match. Maybe we should move to the Bundesliga thread if we want to focus on that though.
I think there is no need to worry. We will definitely watch the 2 matches they will win. In the match before the final match, Xabi can play with the Rotation players and rest some of his important players. Leverkusen was a team that had an impact on this year in every sense. It will not be difficult for them to continue this and win the championship 2 more times. I think they will overcome the Atalanta obstacle and reach the cup.
I think that is enough time for the players to recover their fitness before the final match. If Xabi wants to target no defeats this season, then he can try to play the main players in the first half and try to look for quick goals, after that they can rotate players and rest them in the second half, I think that is a good strategy.
They are actually used to a very busy schedule this season, so they should already have the right formula to be able to carry out rotations so that their players are fully prepared after the last match in the Bundesliga.
I think they will be able to do well, because so far they have shown something good too. They are a great team with their rotation working well too.

Leverkusen's last match in bundesliga is on May 18 and the finals of Europa league is on May 22nd. They don't need to rest any of their players and would come with full force on both matches to achieve a win. They have another match in DFB-Pokal final at May 25th and that could be the last match of this season so they'll again go on full force. Not being defeated in bundesliga and the europena championship is a never achieved feat and they'll do their best to get that.

Yes, Leverkusen has the last two final matches of the Europa League and also the DFB Cup, many people hope that Leverkusen can win these two final matches and they will be able to achieve great success which will be recorded in history as an undefeated team and having treble winners.
Xabi will also make his name as the greatest coach that Leverkusen has and he will have quite big career in the world of football, I also sure that with this success Xabi will definitely become an expensive coach who will be targeted by many big teams.
But apart from all that, they have to be able to perform consistently and really maintain the stability of the players so that nothing bad happens.
We know that Leverkusen doesn't have great players who really dominate and their strength only lies in their solidarity.
If something bad happens that results in several players being absent then that could change everything, Xabi must be able to look after all his players in the final Bundesliga match.

That's right, Xabi Alonso must ensure that his players are not careless about the various praises they receive, as well as the various expectations placed on them, this can be a very dangerous psychological poison.
It will not be big problems in remaining matches this season because Leverkusen players will actually want to win two more titles and will play with their best. The challenge will appear in a next season when their players will be more sensitively vulnerable with praises for their success in this season. Leverkusen will also face with big challenge from bigger clubs, to convince their players to stay with them.

Quote
Apart from one remaining match in the Bundesliga, Xabi Alonso will definitely prioritize his focus in facing the final match versus Atalanta. If you look at the situation, I think Leverkusen is very lucky, because Atalanta is not as strong as we imagine, the Serie A representative just suffered defeat in the Coppa Italia final against Juventus.
Meeting Atalanta at the final is interesting but quite challenging and unpredictable for Leverkusen. Because Atalanta are similar to Leverkusen, their players will want to win a big title like Europa League and it's hard to measure their ambition and severity of playing they will put into the final match. With an underdog team like Atalanta, it's harder for Leverkusen to assess the opponent's strength and prepare tactics to deal with Atalanta.

This is very correct, Bayer Leverkusen will have the opportunity of making more history if  they are able to win all the matches left for them especially the 2 major finals, Leverkusen most challenging game is going to be defeating Atalanta in the Europa league finals since they are already champions in their league and they are also looking forward playing their cup finals with a team in the lower division and I think they are in better position of winning the cup looking at their good records this season. The most important them this season will be having a treble trophy for Bayer Leverkusen and if they can achieve that with the unbeaten run they are right now then it will be the biggest record they have had in their history but of course they need to keep their performance flying and don't let the praises they are getting right now affect them performance so they don't get distracted in any of the games.

This of course gives Leverkusen a higher chance, because if the inconsistent Juventus are able to beat Atalanta, it is clear that it should also be quite easy for Leverkusen to beat Atalanta too. However, regardless of the surprises that might occur, Atalanta cannot be underestimated under any circumstances. The teams that reach the final certainly have good bargaining value, meaning they have the potential to beat each other, and Leverkusen in this case should be fully alert. The Europa League trophy will again change Leverkusen's history, which they previously recorded in the Bundesliga.

I know Atalanta would have given a full consideration in this match like it would if it was the Europa League final match. They lost the game tonight to an early goal scored by Vlahovic in the early minutes of the game. They just have the Europa League finals to fight for and that also against a team fighting for a treble this season. They are both anxious for that cup and Atalanta’s loss today will be channeled into that final to win and compensate the loss today. This will be an interesting finals to watch and we wish for the better team to win that day.
The loss against Juventus is not a good thing for Atalanta, because It affect their mentality negatively. This shows Atalanta having a split focus between aiming top four, Copa Italia final and Europa League Final. This situation don't get used to this situation that makes them not able to perform their best form when they are under pressure.

Juventus is also a good team that put big effort o this game, because this is the only available chance for them to win a trophy. They are more experience than Atalanta in this kind of situation, so I think it's understandable that Juventus won the game and lifted the trophy. Atalanta need to improve their performance when they are under pressure if they want to win Europa League trophy, because playing in a final of european stage need a strong mentality.

Everyone talks about how Leverkusen do not need to care about the final game of the bundesliga, but they have been unbeaten so far, 50 games if I am not wrong, and they have just three more games, one more bundesliga game, on cup game, and one europa game.

I think when you have this little amount of games left, trying to win them all would be the way to go, "not caring" doesn't seem to be possible for them anymore. I mean can you imagine if they ended up losing right here? That would be horrible, if they lost like 10 games ago then I would understand losing this too, but they have gone unbeaten so far, that has to be counting for something. I think they care about winning all three games very much and will try to do that.
Leverkusen have 3 games left in the season and I think they are all important games. Beating Augsburg would make them undefeated champions in the Bundesliga. Beating Atalanta will make them UEL champions. And beating Kaiserslautern would give them the treble winners. And Leverkusen will go down in history as the first and only team in Europe or even in the world to have never been defeated in one season in all competitions! That is a crazy record that no one has ever achieved and Leverkusen only needs to keep the remaining 3 games unbeaten. I'm sure Leverkusen will be able to beat Augsburg or kaiserslautern but the match against Atalanta makes me a little worried. Atalanta cannot be underestimated because they made it to the final after beating the favorite team, namely Liverpool. This will really be a very interesting final match.

So many persons are saying Real Madrid are the favourite to win the Champions league, they even show that in the odds they give to them. I laugh because it's really going to shock them when despite the odds,Dortmund are going to lift that trophy from them. What really makes me feel so convinced that Dortmund will win is how solid they seem to be when it comes to their defense line. They made things very hard for PSG the day they played them, and finally won that game by a goal to one.It didn't matter whether they were given the highest odds, but I'm sure they will shock the world with their performance.I know they might not really play the best of football in their league, they are always often won,but they know the champions league is their last chance of making it come home,so they have to try all they could,to bring it home.

The unbeaten record they’re trying to complete will be their push and energy in this remaining matches for them to be played to end the season. I have full confidence in them to bring those three trophies home after securing one of them. Every team and their players needs something they’re fighting for to make them work harder and that has been proven by Bayern Leverkusen. An indeed spectacular season for them and I just hope they complete the unbeaten run that team has ever done before in the history of football.

~
That is not a problem for a team, especially for reasons of fatigue, and indeed a big team like Atalanta should be able to give priority to the important matches they will play.

In fact, if Atalanta succeeds in winning the Coppa Italia title this season, it will make them even more confident going into the Europa League final match against Leverkusen, indirectly it will have quite an impact on the mentality and self-confidence of the Atalanta players.

Bayern Leverkusen must not be complacent with what they have achieved so far. Their admirable struggle must be completed perfectly even though sometimes the path is not easy. Not only me, perhaps almost everyone really wants to see a new history in football competitions where one team is able to win three titles without losing at all and that is very impressive and difficult to repeat.
This is a good season for Leverkusen to get a very fantastic thing and they are just one step away from getting the trophy so seeing this situation, it is certain that they will try hard to set records and make achievements that they have never gotten before.

Currently, Leverkusen have managed to set a fantastic record where they have never lost in 50 matches. Now of course there is a new target where they want a treble because it is very close to them so there is no reason for Leverkusen not to play seriously at this time because this is an opportunity that not even all clubs can get and opportunities like this for them are very rare so this momentum must be used as well as possible.

The final will definitely be very interesting because Atalanta also currently wants a positive result where they are now in 2 finals (Europa League and domestic competition) so indeed both clubs will not just give up now.

Not only me, perhaps almost everyone really wants to see a new history in football competitions where one team is able to win three titles without losing at all and that is very impressive and difficult to repeat.
This has to be one of the best part of this season if only Leverkusen can get it done completely and it becomes a reality that they actually got to create such a record at a point in time in the history of football and so far they have been able to maintain it till they have just a game to go both in the bundesliga, the Europa and the sfb polka respectively, they look to me like they are most definitely going to be able to make it through to all of the leagues mentioned above while still been able to maintain the records.

I don't know for sure if such a record as this has been recorded before in football or it's been a long time since they last saw anything of such in football history because I honestly haven't gotten to hear of something like this since I got to loving the game but I know for sure there are teams who has been able to win a trio in a season but staying unbeaten in the three leagues is definitely not common, Manchester city actually got a trio last season but they weren't unbeaten in any of the three leagues, Bayern Munich have won a trio aswell but didn't get to stay unbeaten all through the season and that's the uniqueness in the record Leverkusen is setting.

The feeling of what defeat is is an experience Leverkusen is yet to have this season and I believe they may eventually not even get to experience it because they are still in a very good and sound frame of mind to handle the remaining games ahead of them to the finals of the leagues this spams across the three leagues wherein they are participating this season, this has actually gotten them a different kind of attention aswell.

Leverkusen will make new history if they can win all the remaining matches for the remainder of this season. But the question now is whether they will be able to do it or not. And I think they'll probably be able to do it. But it is also possible that they will experience at least one defeat. and what I'm really worried about is the Europa League Final. Because I see Atalanta as stronger than Roma. And we can see Leverkusen having difficulty beating Roma. And now in the Final Leverkusen have to face Atalanta who are stronger than Roma. I say Atalanta is stronger than Roma because Atalanta won against Roma in Serie A. And Atalanta is currently ranked better than Roma in Serie A. So the final match will actually be the most difficult match for Leverkusen.

I think compared to Leverkusen it is Atlanta who are a little busy with their schedule later, but even so I am very sure if Atalanta will provide a very strong fight in the final match , so far Leverkusen is the favorite team to win the Europa League but still the potential surprise will be given by Atlanta to Leverkusen in the final match later.
It seems like everyone knows that Piero Gasperini as Atalanta coach is able to rotate the players well, maintain the quality of performance and is able to maintain the physical fitness of the main players and in fact, in every match in Series A, Atalanta is able to get 3 winning points from their opponents and this is not something difficult, as long as Atalanta can continue to maintain its consistency.
I fully support your opinion, if in the future Atalanta will definitely put up resistance and will not let Leverkusen win easily or at least Atalanta will try to get the European League title this season even though Leverkusen is far superior but Atalanta is really very strong at the moment, almost on par with the performance they have Leverkusen.
Leverkusen under the command of Xabi Alonso has the opportunity to win the treble this season, after they won the Bundesliga and are still competing in the Europa League and DFB-Pokal. Bayer 04 Leverkusen reached the final of a major European club competition for the third time, having previously been to the final of the UEFA Cup in 1987/88 and the UEFA Champions League in 2001/02.

In the final, Leverkusen will face Atalanta, who in the other match beat Marseille with a score of 3-0 to seal a 4-1 aggregate. Meanwhile, the top match will be held at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on Thursday 23/5/2024.

That would be horrible, if they lost like 10 games ago then I would understand losing this too, but they have gone unbeaten so far, that has to be counting for something. I think they care about winning all three games very much and will try to do that.
You wrote a completely correct speech. Now Bayer Leverkusen has a title to protect, and this title allows them to be close to not only the Bundesliga title, but also the title of the team that plays consecutively without losing in the world. They only have 3 matches ahead of them to improve this record further, and after winning these 3 matches, they can raise this title more easily next year. We can say that it is a great challenge for Xabi.
