If I remember correctly, the final Bundesliga match happened on the 18th, against a team who never won in their last 4 matches. The UEL final happened on the 23rd, so there are four days to take a breather. I dunno how important a season without defeat is, but I'm sure good player management is necessary to make sure they have good match fitness for the final while being sufficiently rested. Even if some people view UEL as a second-tier competition, I'd still take it if I could only choose between winning it and losing the final Bundesliga match. Maybe we should move to the Bundesliga thread if we want to focus on that though.

Playing without defeat throughout the season is a great achievement, and will certainly be recorded in history, and this is not a question of whether it is important or not but about an achievement whichwill certainly be difficult to achieve. Also, I think that even though Bayer Leverkusen willcertainly be the favorite team but still, basically Atalanta also still has a chance to win and of course, there will also be those who choose Atalanta. After all, the final match is a match between the two best teams and therefore, the finalmatch will always be interesting even though it sometimes brings together a team withbetter quality against a team with perhaps lower quality. But the point is,in Europa League final this season I think it is clear thatBayer Leverkusen really has a very good chance of winning.

Everyone talks about how Leverkusen do not need to care about the final game of the bundesliga, but they have been unbeaten so far, 50 games if I am not wrong, and they have just three more games, one more bundesliga game, on cup game, and one europa game.

I think when you have this little amount of games left, trying to win them all would be the way to go, "not caring" doesn't seem to be possible for them anymore. I mean can you imagine if they ended up losing right here? That would be horrible, if they lost like 10 games ago then I would understand losing this too, but they have gone unbeaten so far, that has to be counting for something. I think they care about winning all three games very much and will try to do that.
Well, that's also what I'm thinking at the moment, they have overcome the challenges and managed to record an unbeaten record, so when they don't care about their last match in the Bundesliga because they are already guaranteed champions in my opinion that's not good, because they will miss the record that already exists in in front of them. And it will be history for them as long as they are in the Bundesliga, that opportunity has come and it would be a shame if they just missed it.
Would they also be that easy to let go of something in their grasp? I don't think so, they're going to stick with it and this is their last game in the Bundesliga, and it's also going to be a game where they're playing home, so they have to give it to their fans. Maybe their supporters are now very satisfied with what they have got, but there would be nothing wrong if they gave them a bonus with a record without defeat for a full season.

I don't understand what you have written in anyway here lol, but I feel like you're talking about Jurgen Klopp having a sad ending with Liverpool, Yeah?
All good things comes to an end and there's nothing we can do about it. He had a poor last season with Liverpool and thus season not going the way he had In his head.
Even with him Manchester City had a back to back and now they're up to do it for the fourth time in a row. I see Pep Guardiola has plans of doing a new record from the way Sir Alex Ferguson did it.

Liverpool didn't also get it cool in the European Europa League Competition, All hail Atalanta as they let them go on with just a single trophy this season.
That final gone be bloody as we gon be seeing two attacking side do this thing brilliantly.
Liverpool on the other hand has experienced a push ahead in their stance since Klopp joined the team. They have been impactful in all areas of contests they find themselves. They've pulled through series of finals and have lifted a number of trophies too. The manager has been a positive addition to them and it's understandable if the club can't let go of him yet. This season, he's aimed for a number of trophies too, first when they took on Chelsea in the EFL finals, definitely the boss was charged to win again.

The European contests too was there. He had been able to put the team in the spotlight which they need to excel but luck didn't just shine on them. The players he's worked with are definitely improving in their abilities too. Just like Pep in City, Klopp is been a savior to Liverpool and they'd definitely have to get to some greater heights before he exits the team soon. His exit from the team would definitely have some impacts in the team's performance ahead either positively or negatively. It's only best to avoid the negative effects.

He's been able to set up the right team with every needed criteria in place. But still, it's not a determinant that any bad change can't happen in a twinkle of an eye. The Liverpool squad just have to work together to stay in shape and hopefully the replacement won't be a mistake to the team. The team still proves to be competitive in their ability next season. We'd just watch how it'll be manned up and see the results they do their best to achieve. There are still world class players in the team and so they have no standing reason to flop no matter the condition they'll find themselves.

The Coppa Italia final will start in a few hours, Atalanta can field their best squad in this match when they face Juventus. Two days later Atalanta will face Lecce in Serie A, and five days later Atalanta will play the UEL Final again against Leverkusen. A busy schedule can drain Atalanta players' energy, but Gian Piero Gasperini can rest his core players when his team visits Lecce headquarters. I think there is still time for Atalanta's core players to recover their stamina if they are played in the Coppa Italia final, hopefully Atalanta can match Leverkusen's strength so they can present an ideal Final.
The Coppa Italia Final match will of course be the priority now after that they will think about the Europa League final match, I think that's the most important thing and the Serie A follow-up match isn't that difficult for Atalanta anymore and their position is also quite safe now in the standings.

That is not a problem for a team, especially for reasons of fatigue, and indeed a big team like Atalanta should be able to give priority to the important matches they will play.

In fact, if Atalanta succeeds in winning the Coppa Italia title this season, it will make them even more confident going into the Europa League final match against Leverkusen, indirectly it will have quite an impact on the mentality and self-confidence of the Atalanta players.

It will be useless for them to accept defeat now that they only have 3 games left to make history, and that is what is more important to them which is winning all their remaining games and make history. It is shocking to see that upon all the tough clubs that Leverkusen played this season with a total of 50 matches, they have not been defeated in all competitions.

This season is a good season for them and will be a remarkable one if they finish the season unbeaten with two trophies to show how quality their performance was. Arsenal was only able to record their unbeaten record in domestic league and not in international competitions. Leverkusen have proved that both in domestic and European competitions they can achieve their unbeaten record with the few matches left. They will win Europa but it will not be easy because they are facing a deadly squad.
Bayern Leverkusen must not be complacent with what they have achieved so far. Their admirable struggle must be completed perfectly even though sometimes the path is not easy. Not only me, perhaps almost everyone really wants to see a new history in football competitions where one team is able to win three titles without losing at all and that is very impressive and difficult to repeat.

Is only one game and is a final, but is gonna be a very fun and interesting one to see for all of us who are neutrals and loversof the football, both teams play a very offensive and well played football, so we can expect a good spectacle.

Atalanta has showed us how they can destroy a better team like they do with Liverpool so i think Leverkusen has to take some cautions against Gasperini team.

When both teams made it to the final with a difficult journey it is certainly not worth it for us to underestimate either of them, most of us here make Leverkusen favourites but never thought if maybe Atlanta would be able to give a surprise and even a first defeat for Leverkusen later, currently Atlanta is the only Italian team left in the Europa League and that shows the magnitude of the mentality they have at the moment,  Although Atlanta are not able to compete in the Scudetto race but they are still able to compete in the Champions League zone at this time and we also cannot forget how they fought in the Coppa Italia to reach the final.

I think for now the performance of Atlanta and also Leverkusen is not much different and of course it has the potential to present a fierce final that will happen in the Europa League this season, compared to Leverkusen, Atlanta has a pretty busy schedule but I think it will not affect Atlanta chances of being able to beat and win the Europa League this season.
I think still both teams will have a 50/50 chance of winning the Europa League this season because of the motivation and ambition of both teams at the moment very big.

Atalanta are ready for the final match with Leverkusen by a preparation in Serie A, beating Roma in a direct match and secure their fifth position. They will highly be qualified for Champions League with the fifth position and will aim at the final match with Leverkusen very confidently.

Leverkusen are unbeaten so far and managed to escape many defeats but facing with a strong and dangerous opponent like Atalanta, in a final match, they must be very careful.
The two final matches that Atalanta will play will be very draining for the players, this could be detrimental to Atalanta and there will be an advantage for the Leverkusen camp in hosting the final against Atalanta, because the final match will be played after the Coppa Italia which means the Atalanta players will experiencing great fatigue because Atalanta will host Juventus who are said to be able to give a surprise in the final match against Atalanta, however I hope Atalanta can break Leverkusen's record of being unbeaten in all matches.

Atalanta are a very strong team this season but they can’t still match the quality exhibited by Bayern Leverkusen, they can only try but Bayern Leverkusen still remains the favourite for this year Europa League finals. Atalanta have always been a great team some decades back and loss all of their forms but maybe are gradually getting back on track. Even in their Serie A competition, they did well and are maintaining a good position on the standings. Their performance on the league and also how far they’ve come in the Europa league should give some hope to this team and their players for a victory in the finals.

Leverkusen on the other hand have very little to worry about right now as they have already secured their title and have one league match left to play and they will play it before the final making them have enough time and energy to channel into the final. It will be a very competitive game which cannot be predicted easily but i believe Leverkusen can continue their unbeaten streak and lift the trophy.

If we check how this two teams play, it is very obvious that Bayern Leverkusen is the best to win the trophy. Their style of play and coordination is much more superior to that of Atalanta. They can only try but I doubt victory will be certain for them in that final match. The unbeaten record that Bayern Leverkusen wants to keep alive will also encourage them to do their best in the final match and not to lose any match to complete that record soon.

The last game in Bundesliga is no longer important for Leverkusen and they even can sacrifice it, lose it to aim at two bigger targets, two titles in Europa League and DFB Pokal cup.
Every match is important for Leverkusen if they want to keep the unbeaten record. I think they can do it, they don't need to play 100% because they are not playing a strong team in the final match of Bundesliga.

Being unbeaten in Bundesliga is impressive but if they have to pay it with cost of key player injuries, it does not worth to pay. Two titles in Europa League and DFB Pokal will be enough to make this season as a most successful one in Leverkusen's history. If they end Bundesliga unbeaten but won't win two titles in Europa League and DBF Pokal, it will make this season is not too successful for them.
Having the unbeaten record in the whole season will be a great achievement. I think it is worth fighting for the record, Leverkusen may have no chance to achieve it in the future. Why don't to try winning the match? Leverkusen has many players in their squad, they can use the second tier players to play on the match. So, it won't be a serious problem for Xabi to win the final match in Bundesliga.

Atalanta are ready for the final match with Leverkusen by a preparation in Serie A, beating Roma in a direct match and secure their fifth position. They will highly be qualified for Champions League with the fifth position and will aim at the final match with Leverkusen very confidently.
Of course, Atalanta is a strong opponent in the final UEL. They just beat AS Roma in Serie A, it may give them a more motivation to play with their best in the final UEL. However, I think Leverkusen should know how to deal with Atalanta. Xabi Alonso is a smart coach, he knows a proper tactic to destroy the strong defense of Atalanta. Since Leverkusen has everything to win the UEL final match, I no doubt to favor Leverkusen for the champion.  Smiley

Yes i agree poor Jurgen Kloop after all what he do for Liverpool and for football in general because thanks top him Manchester City cant be so dominant in Premier League and making a beautifull top see football he is ended up his term in Liverpool bench without any smile is very sad.

But well in this Europa League we can see lifting the thropie two very deserved coachs like Xabi Alonso and Gianpiero Gasperini

In fact, everyone seems to really hope that Jurgen Klopp will have the best season in his final term at Liverpool. And at that time everyone was very optimistic, especially when Liverpool was ranked first in the Premier League and was in the quarter-finals of the Europa League. But Jurgen Klopp has indeed lost his luck because Liverpool is now out of the race for the title in the European League and also in the Premier League. But getting a ticket to the UCL is also progress that Klopp can provide for Liverpool. because last season Liverpool even failed to get to the UCL. And yes, this is still something to be grateful for. And after all, Klopp is indeed one of the best coaches currently.

Well next week the final will be held and Xabi Alonso will be tested whether he can keep the Leverkusen club in a winning trend or Leverkusen will experience their first defeat this season. Atalanta and its coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, will also fight to maintain the dignity of the Italian club in European football competitions. Because after all the Italian team failed in the UCL. And now only Atalanta is left in the European League.
Maybe Klopp failed to make Liverpool win the title in big competitions such as the Premier League and European League. But don't forget that Klopp this season has given Liverpool one trophy, namely by becoming champions in the EFL Cup. And I think that's also a good thing for this team. And a ticket to the UCL is a sweet addition to the end of his career at Liverpool. What I'm really worried about is what Liverpool's condition will be like after Klopp left.

For the final match, Atalanta is the only club from Serie A still remaining in European football competition at the moment. And it is possible that Atalanta will be the first club to beat Leverkusen this season. but even though I always prefer clubs from Serie A, honestly I see that Leverkusen will still be the favorite and win in the final.

The rice has become porridge and you shouldn't regret it. Kloop has done his best for Liverpool even though it has been less than satisfactory this season, but it still doesn't rule out the possibility that he is still the best manager that Liverpool has had so far and losing this coach will definitely leave deep sadness even before leaving Liverpool. Kloop has ensured the best place for his club by competing in the UCL next season. Last season Kloop was only able to provide the UEL competition but at the end of his tenure this season he provided a UCL ticket.
In the UEL final we will see how Alonso and Gasperini show their club's best performance, who are just one step away from winning the trophy, everyone has gone through hard work to reach the top level.

At the moment the bundesliga only has 1 game left before the season will end, but I think Leverkusen will still take the game against Augsburg very seriously just like when they played Bochum this week, Alonso is determined to continue to extend their unbeaten record so still Leverkusen will field their main players in the game with maybe a little rotation,  In addition, I think the match schedule faced by Leverkusen at the moment is not too busy and allows them to prepare the team 5 days before the final starts, yes maybe playing in the DFB Pokal which will probably consume their energy after only having 3 days of rest after the Europa League final, but I think it will not interfere with Leverkusen performance to be able to win the remaining 2 title trophies this season.

I think compared to Leverkusen it is Atlanta who are a little busy with their schedule later, but even so I am very sure if Atalanta will provide a very strong fight in the final match , so far Leverkusen is the favorite team to win the Europa League but still the potential surprise will be given by Atlanta to Leverkusen in the final match later.

Xabi Alonso will never want to end the season with his first defeat in the Bundesliga. Alonso is desperate to maintain his unbeaten record this season and also improve it by winning all available matches. Leverkusen only have 1 game left in the Bundesliga, so they will try to win it or at least draw.

Overall, Leverkusen has 3 matches to win, 2 of which are very important because they are final matches. Winning the final match of the Europa League and the final of the DFB Cup is Xabi Alonso's main goal this season, meaning Leverkusen have really won all the titles they can win this season if they win those 2 final.

On the 16th Atalanta will play in the Coppa Italia final against Juventus and after that, on the 18th Atalanta plays in Serie A against Lecce and then, on the 23rd Atalanta plays in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen. While about Bayer Leverkusen,on the 18th play in the Bundesliga againstAugsburg, and on the 23rd Bayer Leverkusen play in the Europa League final, and on the 26th Bayer Leverkusen will play in the DFBPokal final. With a schedule like this indeed,Atalanta get a slightly busier schedule than Bayer Leverkusen. Moreover, after the Europa League final that Atalanta also still have to play in two Serie A matches and anyway, in fact Atalanta position is still not completely safe in the Serie A standings, because AS Roma still has a chance to overtakeAtalanta there. Anyway, the Europa League final will be played at Aviva Stadium in Ireland, because ofcourse thefinal will be played in a neutral location and there is no home or away.

Atlanta after eliminating Liverpool raised my eyebrows. I didn't expect them to do so, rather I expected Roma. But then, haven qualified for the Europa League finals, they are definitely gonna play as finalists. In finals, it's majority of moral that plays and not fatigue or not. In as much as there'll permissible days of rest between the matches, Atlanta is good to go.

In the other hand, Bayern Leverkusen has fought for this from the beginning. It will sound silly if they decide to give up when they already arrived at the glory ground. No matter how formidable Atlanta might appear, the odds is still with Leverkusen to win.

Atlanta does have a tight schedule compared to leverkusen, but I think this probably won't really affect their chances and performance later, currently all the remaining matches they have are crucial matches which they must win, the first crucial match is of course against Juventus to be able to win the Coppa Italia trophy, next they will face Lecce and considering their position which is trying to survive in the Champions League zone of course they also can't lose points to Lecce, but I think the distance between the matches against Lecce and Leverkusen is a little far so Atlanta players has time enough to rest later.

Facing Juventus does require Atlanta to field their main squad, but I think in the next match against Lecce of course Atlanta can rotate the squad by fielding second tier players because after all Lecce is not a strong enough team at the moment ,so this allows the Atlanta main players to get a full rest previously to face in the final match of the European League against Leverkusen later, in my opinion of course the Atlanta coach will probably do as I mentioned above, because that is the only option for Atlanta to continue to achieve all the wins in their remaining matches this season.
