The first half was a problem for Manchester United that they struggled to get a win but getting ban equalizer helped them stay in the safe side and so they are able to get a goal already in the second half to stay ahead which is already a hope for them to probably win this game but the problem still remains that Manchester United doesn't have a good defense which could actually be a challenge to them before the end of this game.
Final score 3-2 for Man Utd's victory.
This is Amorim's first victory with Man Utd but his task is still a lot of defense line built by his team is very bad besides that in this match mistakes after mistakes were shown by the players if only Bodo/Glimt could take advantage of it well maybe the final score would not be like that besides that I am quite disappointed with the referee, I feel the referee is not fair.

I just realized that this United team will keep getting the same results regardless of which manager takes charge, and if change is to happen alot of players will need to be transferred out immediately or it's the same old story of losing!!
Manchester United is currently playing against Bodo/Glimt, and they are winning 3-2, but I don’t see any difference in Manchester United’s performance. Manchester United is not supposed to be dragging against Bodo/Glimt, it’s a match that they are supposed to win easily, but Manchester United are finding it difficult. Everyone is beginning to see that the coach is not really Manchester United’s problem, and if Manchester United changes coaches multiple times, there won’t really be changes in their performance. Manchester United needs some new players, and some are supposed to leave the club, I guess some are just too old, and some are even tired of playing for the club, so they should let them go.
Actually  Bodo/Glimt isn't a weak team per say except that they are in one of those leagues we have constantly referred to as farmers league, still, it doesn't put them so low before this current Manchester United team that have lost their place in the scheme of excellent teams in Europe football.

I'll agree with you that some of the players in Manchester United has to leave if Amorim will have to achieve greatness with the club by making the club competitive again both in the EPL and Europe. It's time for the era of UTD struggling to win or get a draw at every match.

A piecemeal victory!

Bodo glimt always causes problems against every single team in europe and they are showing that they can stand toe to toe even with Man Utd. This is an important win for Man Utd and their confidence ahead of their next premier league match. Amorim got his first win in europe now lets see in premier league.

I remember Ten Hag complaining that it is impossible to find among so many players at the club specifically those who will play well with each other, so the team is such a mess. On the other hand, in today's match, MJ seemed to be in complete control despite losing by one goal at one point. If such an opponent gave them problems, I am afraid to imagine what will happen in the Premier League

Onana just got a yellow card for wasting time  Grin This is not like dominance and playing from a position of strength. Amorim hasn't transformed United yet, but judging by his interviews that I've seen, he doesn't promise quick results, who are interested in long-term solutions. But I still hope that we will see results sooner and don't end up in a situation like with ETH, who kept asking for patience.

I never liked Erik ten Hag, I always believed Manchester United were wasting their time on him and I was right. Ruben Amorim is a good coach and I think he is what United needs to bring them back to the powerhouse they once was. It’s been only one game under Amorim and the result was a draw yet United fans are complaining about the new coach. They are even comparing him to Ruud van Nistelrooy, it’s crazy how messed up Manchester United fanbase are. They are the most toxic fans in the Premier League, if Amorim doesn’t succeed in his first season in the club, I’m sure the fans will be calling for his resignation.

United isn't doing that bad on UEL if you ask me, too many people are reacting like they are down and doing bad, that's on premier league but here on UEL they are doing alright and they will most likely go to next stage without much issues, about 10-11 points is enough, so if they get like just 1 more win, they are almost there and shouldn't really be worried.

I understand things aren't looking that bad right now but also they should win more, maybe they could push for top eight, which isn't a must and as long as they finish top 24 which I am sure they will, then there won't be much issues, that's good enough, by that time they will get used to playing in Amorims system and will be much better club. For now, they are playing a very easy team today, and I am sure they will move higher on standings. They just need to focus on premier league, they are ranked terrible there, they have to end up getting ranked a lot higher, or win UEL as a total so they can be in UCL next season directly.

Here is the current odds for the match between Manchester United vs Bodø/Glimt below

Manchester United @1.21
Bodø/Glimt @13
Draw @7.4

A match that is indeed more directed towards Manchester United because they are the favorites in this match but seeing from the game that is done actually I think it is quite interesting where so far although Manchester United is still superior in any aspect but Bodo / Glimt played very neatly in today's match in terms of defense.

Manchester United's dominance is strong but Bodo/Glimt played solid defense and only occasionally tried to counterattack quickly.

It is likely that if we look at the current time Mamchester United get 3 points and this is the first victory for Amorim because with the remaining time now they actually only need to maintain momentum so that 3 points can be obtained especially with the possession of the ball that is certainly an advantage in the remaining 5 minutes of regular time but surely Bodo / Glimt also does not want this to end in defeat and I think this crucial time is indeed favorable for United but they must remain focused until the end so that 3 points can be obtained.

Manchester United back in the frying pan...

I just realized that this United team will keep getting the same results regardless of which manager takes charge, and if change is to happen alot of players will need to be transferred out immediately or it's the same old story of losing!!

Amorim needs to put his foot down and make sure some of these bad seeds leave immediately...already I know Evans is not in his plans after that call out.

They need new players this ones are just not working they leaded 1-0 then 1-2 and were able barely to draw before halftime. I see them winning this match but this should have been much easier for them. They shouldnt be struggling against weak teams like this.
1. We should understand that Amorim didn't do pre-season with Manchester United.
2. Also Amorim has a different football style.
3. This means that Amorim will need some time to sink his strategy in the boys.
4. This will not be easy but you will understand that the boys will start to score more goals.
5. Certainly not all the boys fit Manchester United but he has to manage them for know to get results.

Overall, United appear stronger, but their defense remains vulnerable. A reasonable bet would be on a Manchester United win with both teams finding the net.
The first half of the game ended in a 2 - 2 draw, Manchester United got an early lead in the first half but soon lost the lead  within the space of 4 minutes where they conceded 2 goals (19 minutes and 23 minutes) although Rasmus Højlund found the net in the 45th minutes to end the first half with a draw.

The second half as already kicked off although I still expect Manchester United to get a win but this will depend on how well they maximise their chances and if they are able to avoid conceding more goals.

Although the game is now currently 3 - 2, Manchester United has gotten the lead again thanks from another goal from Rasmus  Højlund.

Manchester United will play their first home match under their new manager, which adds an extra layer of intrigue. The team has shown more stability recently, going unbeaten in their last five matches. However, the manager's debut was less than ideal, with United settling for a 1-1 draw against league strugglers Ipswich. On the other hand, Bodo/Glimt have impressed in the Europa League, securing victories over Porto and Braga, although their momentum was dampened by a disappointing loss to Qarabag.

Overall, United appear stronger, but their defense remains vulnerable. A reasonable bet would be on a Manchester United win with both teams finding the net.
Manchester United need harmony in their strength, meaning they have shown good development in their front line but their defense is not strong enough so that the opposing team is able to find a gap to break through their goal. Under the new coach of course Manchester United is chasing the first win because the first match ended in a draw in the Premier League and now the second match under the new coach is the match in the European league against Bodo / Glimt.

I think Amorim must be able to bring the first win in this match because they are playing at Old Trafford of course they must be able to get 3 points. The second half will start soon and the temporary score is 2-2, some changes must be made by Amorim in the second half, he must be able to provide victory in front of his supporters.

I think Manchester United is very close to three points against Bodo. Because the match will be played in Manchester and Manchester United will want to show off with their new manager. I am sure they will score a lot of goals if they get the chance. I expect Manchester United to be better now. Although they drew in their first match, I liked the way they played. Maybe Manchester United will continue to play like this. If they are aiming for the upper rounds in the Europa League, they should definitely win this match and the matches they will play after that.
I am sure that they will get a win without a doubt. When the opponent is a difficult one then I can see them still losing even with Amorim, but right now they are playing differently and against a very easy team. The new method they have is high pressure, and very talented teams could break that with good passing and good movement, like if they played against some top level team such as Liverpool or Bayern or whatever, those teams could move and break the pressure.

But Bodo do not have that talent, so when United presses them forward, they will make mistakes and give United plenty of chances. Last time they played against Southampton and it was the first ever game, they were confused and didn't know what to do but in the short moments when they did what Amorim asked them to do, the results were pretty great, I am assuming that United will do that more often with time, plus with Bodo being such an easy opponent, they shouldn't really have that much trouble beating at all.

Finally, Hojiluund was able to equalize the goal on the last minute of the first half. I don't like the way Manchester United defense is weak, also they are not creative enough when the get to the box of their opponent, they end up wasting the ball. Imagine how Bodoe was able to scored two goals within two minutes of holding the ball. Assuming it was Bodoe that was with the ball more, they would have scored more goals because their attackers are very sharp. The first half ended 2-2.

If Immobile hadn't missed the penalty, maybe Beşiktaş would have turned the game around, but it didn't happen. Rafa Silva knows how to score from one on one positions. But apart from that, the team failed to score goals today. They wasted all the goal positions. Turkish government has the biggest share in this defeat. The match that should have been Beşiktaş's home match was played in Hungary and a great injustice was done. If this match was played in İstanbul, Beşiktaş would have won by scoring 3-4 goals with the support of the fans.

Honestly it was a game that Galatasaray could have won nicely. Because AZ Alkmaar were really horrible in the attacking line. Especially their shots in the first half were far away from being a threat. The goal they scored was a result of a mistake by Galatasaray defense. The answer wasn't too late though. The Turkish side could have done more if they didn't waste some big opportunities.

This point loss will keep them in top 8 anyway thanks to a solid start. But they shouldn't miss the chance of qualifying for 1/8-finals directly. The squad is really promising for doing big things in the Europa League.  Smiley

It was an unfortunate night for Galatasaray, if we had won this match we would have gained a significant advantage in the league for the upper ranks. We were able to draw the match in the first half but we could not find the goal that would bring victory.

Yunus and Barış were not on the field, they did not contribute in any way, these players need to come to their senses or wait on the bench. Oh, it was a match that I wished Icardi was there, maybe if he had been there he could have brought us the winning goal or made an assist, I am sure he would have done something. It was a match that we should have clearly won, what a shame.
