It's quite right time to let go about the situation at Manchester United, since the management has refused to do the needful, that is parting ways with Ten Hag, and bring in new manager, Manchester united isn't more important to Man Utd fans and supporters than it's to the management board who runs business and owns the clus highest shares, So whenever they feeel or decided to come out of slumber and get the right things done to fix up the united team, then good.
Manchester United have formed a new way of measuring success. Manchester United had a draw against Aston Villa, and the fans were delighted with the result. This is the shambolic state the club is in at the moment, the standards have dropped significantly. The team has consistently demonstrated that they cannot perform under Erik Ten Hag yet Manchester United bosses are backing the manager. The other teams in the Premier League are happy to have Erik Ten Hag as United’s manager.
I’m not such about the last information, fans laugh obviously but happy I don’t think so. We all know football match comes with trolls and different opinions but I don’t take that serious, I’m still being honest with my opinion about Manchester United current situation and the fact is most players also contributed to the bad position they’re in. Ten hag should leave or not the players should work on themselves, talking about fans they’re still strong supporting the club I just hope United do better.

Ten Hag have made the fans to have no option that to be happy with a draw because they're used to defeats. I understand why the management folds their arms doing nothing on sacking Ten Hag because it will cost them a lot, and due to the huge sum of amount that they used in buying players to see how the team will improve, which has not been achieved will make the club lose more funds if he is sacked. Ten Hag contracts will end by the end of this season and that will be the best time to send him away. Manchester United might lose to Fenerbahce because they are not the big club that we use to know anymore, and they lack the creativity to take advantage of their opportunities when they are chanced.
Ten Hag got a one-year contract extension, and it will end in June 2026. On the other hand, we are of the same mind regarding the current condition of Man United, maybe it's time for management to say goodbye to Ten Hag, before their performance plummets. I think Ten Hag will spend more budget if he continues to be maintained, I'm pretty sure he will ask the club top brass to bring in new players again when the transfer window opens. We know the source of Man United current weakness lies in Ten Hag poor tactics, he is considered to have failed to manage the potential of his players.

The Red Devils could not show a different performance in the Europa League, even though the two matches yesterday were relatively easy, but they failed to secure full points. Their next match versus Fenerbahce is difficult to predict, because Man United performance has never been stable. On paper, Man United is indeed worthy of being the favorite, but their reputation this season cannot be trusted, it is too risky to bet on their match. Actually, Man United is highly favored to be the title challenger, but the reality is the opposite, I even think they will have difficulty finishing in the top 8 of the standings to qualify for the round of 16 automatically.

Fenerbahce cannot be underestimated, they are quite better in the league, and they are drawn by the same team, who drew with Man United in the previous match.

Fenerbahce have been known for their good performances over a long period of time, and they are still maintaining that form, even though it's not as great as it was a few seasons back when they participated in the Champions League. Fenerbahce's performance has even increased recently, and I can say they are in good shape at the moment. With their current form, I don't think any team will underestimate Fenerbahce. If any team were to underestimate them, it could be Manchester United, as their recent performance has been worse. In fact, I would even bet on Fenerbahce to win against Manchester United based on the statistics from this season.

So far, Fenerbahce have played seven matches in their domestic league this season, winning five, drawing one, and losing one. Meanwhile, Manchester United have only won two out of seven matches played in their domestic league , which is quite poor. I’m not saying that Manchester United can’t beat Fenerbahce, but I don't have any confidence in them right now.

The problem of Manchester United is just the coach , his strategy is not just good for the team and for a very longtime Manchester United have been underperforming and the coach have been giving enough time to try his best to make a change but instead the team is still having the worst performance. It seems to improve the performance of the team is beyond the strength of Ten Hag, it will be better if the management of Manchester United brings a new coach with a better experience.

The players that Manchester United has are not bad for the team to be in this poor state of performance.  Their are good players in Manchester United and every player would prefer to be in a team that is performing well.
Are we entirely sure it's "just" the coach? I do agree about how Erik Ten Hag has been a terrible coach and he should be fired there is no doubt about this part, I am not saying coach is good, coach is terrible and awful and should have been fired last season let alone this year.

However, do you think if they fire ETH now, and hire someone better, like for example Pep will be leaving City this summer, so somehow they convinced Pep to come to other side of Manchester, which won2t happen but lets just assume this for a moment, you think they will be good right away? They will be better than right now, but they will still underperform compared to how much money they are spending.

This is why I believe their problem isn't "just" the coach. They have a player problem too, they have players who they spent a lot of money on and not performing as well as they should. And they have some positions with more than one option, and some positions with just a single option, so when something happens to that player, they play someone out of position, makes no sense.

Fenerbahce cannot be underestimated, they are quite better in the league, and they are drawn by the same team, who drew with Man United in the previous match.
How will a team like Manchester United underestimate any club right now? Manchester United should take all their matches seriously, because all they have been getting in most of their matches this season is draws and losses. Manchester United haven’t been able to win any Europa League matches, and I am not really sure if they will be getting a win against Fenerbahce. I am still expecting a draw or a loss in the match for Manchester United, because I will say Fenerbahce are just better than Manchester United, and we can see that they are in a better position.

Manchester United played a draw against FC Porto, and Twente, which is currently in 24th and 23rd position on the table, am just thinking about how they will be able to win Fenerbahce, which are in a better position than even Manchester United. Fenerbahce have been able to get a win and a draw, which is not a bad one for them.

This goes a long way to justify my claims about some elite clubs that have declined too badly to the extent that they are more or less a mediocre club and I say this with all sense of respect to anyone involved, but it is what it is. The club has been taking a nose dive for several years now and all the management team could do was to throw their weight behind the coach, affirming their support for him. Sometimes I wonder how the fans manage to come back to stadium whenever they get a bad result, I can feel their frustration and I wish things will soon turnout better for the club as it were in the era of sir Alex Ferguson.

Manchester United really don't know what they are doing. They can't even shift their focus to a specific competition at least to be more successful. This is pretty bad.  Sad

I mean they are already terrible in the PL. I would like to see them strong in the EL at least but there is no such thing so far as they got 2 draws also. Where are they going like this?

Jim Ratcliffe didn't want to part ways with Erik ten Hag yet. This has technically quite bad signals for them taking their performance into account. But I hope he proves me wrong somehow.

Because before this Europa League started that there were many people who predicted good results for Manchester United, or they had high hopes for Manchester United in the Europa League. But in reality, the results are bad and thus of course there are many people who are disappointed in Manchester United at this moment. But for me personally, that I don't really mind or regret about the not optimal results that Manchester United have in this Europa League. Because from the beginning I also did not really expect Manchester United even though indeed, at least Manchester United had a chance to be at the top of the Europa League standings, but the reality was still not  as easy as imagined.

The fans of Manchester United were excited with a draw they got from Aston Villa because they actually expected a loss on the match. Recur that Manchester United have not been very fortunate this season as they have lost majority of their matches. This makes Aston Villa a favourite team to win in that match. Most people actually bet Aston Villa to win, so a draw was a great result for them. I was even surprised that Manchested United was able to draw that match.

Previously I had expected Manchester United to have difficulties in the Europa League after their inconsistent performance last season, they were only able to finish in 8th position in the EPL standings and qualified for the EUL through a special route after winning the FA Cup. The draws against Twente and Porto strengthen the assumption that they will have great difficulty in qualifying for the next round, even if they can do it, it will have to be through the play-offs. There are still six matches left to be played, the potential to collect points is still wide open but not a guarantee because their performance has not shown any signs of improvement.
After what they did in the transfer market this season, of course fans have high hopes to see the revival of Manchester United, but it turns out that what they expect is not in accordance with existing expectations, Manchester United's current poor performance is clearly a question for us about what is really wrong with them?
In the EPL, they have only won twice, drawn twice, and lost three so that they are the only big team outside the top 10, while in the Europa League, they have also not shown satisfactory performance with draws against FC Twente and FC Porto, but their chances of qualifying for the next round are still there at the moment considering the easy opponents they face in the next match.
Criticism of Erik Ten Hag has indeed arisen a lot mainly because of the high expectations that fans expect, however, There is nothing fans can do at the moment other than just accept the decision of the management who still believe in Ten Hag, let's see if the management trust in Ten Hag at the moment will  make rise on their achievements at the end of the season or instead we do have to label Manchester later as a team mediocre.

While he may look like he won most of his games, when you are spending this much money to build a team, you do expect your team to have at least 70% win rate, meaning they should had 60 games won total if possible. Also when you look at the whole thing you realize things may look great even, but remember his first year was third place, then last season was terrible and this season looks to be terrible as well. Meaning, if you removed the first season, the other two will be terrible.

This is why he is being considered to get sacked, just because he had a good season doesn't mean he should keep his job when he is doing terrible. One of the worst part about United finding a good manager is because they had SIR alex ferguson, that dude has SIR title, he was amazing, so whoever follows him ends up being bad.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they get a draw or a defeat. Manchester United's form is really bad and it wouldn't be surprising if they don't make it to the next round. It seems like Manchester United have lost their prestige as a top European team. A few decades ago everyone would have been surprised if a team like Twente or Porto got a draw against United. But now a draw seems normal. Porto and some other European league teams are on the same level as Manchester United at the moment.

Talking about their chances of making it to the next round I think United still have a chance to make it but I think they will take the play-offs route. I think the best result they can get is to make it to the round of 16.

This season is underway and has just entered the 7th match, with 31 more matches remaining. And Man United achieved 2 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses. It's actually not that bad, but the view for football fans looks unimpressive. However, as football fans, we must also remember that this is just the beginning of the season and there are still many unexpected surprises to come. Man United still has plenty of opportunities to keep striving for more consistency and prove that all those negative thoughts are just temporary.
During the Premier League last season, Manchester United and Chelsea were all suffering poor performances in the premier league, and Manchester United was doing better than Chelsea last season because they were able to make it to the Europa League through winning the FA Cup against Manchester City, therefore, Manchester United fans was expecting a better season since the team spent a lot of money to sign young players, but the team is yet to recover from poor performance which has turn out to be abnormal as fans are now completely blaming Ten Hag for setting up poorly since they have the players that can help them win matches.

Ten Hag can improve as some people like still believe in him, and since there are other opportunities ahead, I hope he will be able to learn from his mistakes to make the team better again to also save his job.

Quote
Next week we will see Manchester United's performance against Brentford and this is an opportunity for Ten Hag to motivate the players to bring home 3 points. Manchester United will play at home and logically, MU has a greater chance of defeating Brentford.
Brentford is not a small team, and they have started the season not so well having three win and three loss with one draw; they are the fourteenth team in the premier league table, and they are just two points above Manchester United.
Ten Hag need to win the match because they are at advantage and Manchester United have good winning record against Bremtford.

Indeed. Man United experienced bad season. It is not a kind of challenges, it is serious decline in performance. In EPL, Man United is in 14th place and in Europa league Man United never won a single match. There is nothing that we can expect from Man United in this season. Regarding Ten Hag, there is a rumor that Man board may fire him if there is no change in the next few matches. It means if Man United fails to come back, there is no more chance for Ten Hag to stay in Man United.
Manchester United are just going on a hard time. It is not easy for them any more because there are getting more worst than last season no one expected this poor performance from Manchester United, but just take a look at what they are just displaying both in premier League and Europa League they are not doing anything. I can even consider premier leagues they had atleast 3 win games, but for the Europa League I don’t think they have won any they always go on a draw. Which their poor performance is been attributed to their coach Erik Ten Hag, he is putting less effort on them. I think the best solution for the team will be to sack him, maybe they might be able to do something tangible with a new coach.

For Manchester united, their players hasn't been their problem, in fact just to get you understand better, some players have been sold out since Ten Hag arrived Manchester united and this players are doing so well in their new team and the new ones bought who were doing well at their old teams before coming to Manchester united are now declining because they aren't played with the right strategy and the right patterns how they are supposed to be played to be productive enough, their coach has got no good strategy or tactics of play just yet.

Yes, but I don't understand how they can support a Ten Hag who has brought absolutely nothing to the team, they have no qualification for the UCL, they don't win the really important competitions, that is something that is beyond the control of many players, because it is obvious that the players are not to blame, the guilty ones are obviously the coach. Now, how have they kept this coach? Unfortunately, it is very difficult for me to have faith in the MU , and it pains me, because they have a great roster. I think that many players are going to leave, they have to look for a better club because with a coach like that, they burn out their players.

I understand what you are saying, but the problem is that they experience the same results since last season. Maybe some fans won't be angry to see them play badly at the start of the season when last season they were able to show a very good game, but what happened was not like that, they continued the negative results from last season.
And if we look at their game, their game is nothing special. Maybe if they have a very good game, many people will consider the negative results they get to be unlucky. On the other hand, now I especially see what they got at the start of the season as something decent because just looking at their game they weren't that good.
