Early predictions will be hard this time unless after the group stages because there will be home and away matches like before. Only teams with squad depth can withstand the pressure because domestic League games will still be going on and othe cup matches respectively.
Going through all the teams that makes it to the Europa League, I think Manchester United is among the most famous teams and it will likely be among the favorites to win the trophy if Ten Hag uses his players well because the team now have a lot of young talented players.
There are talented players for every single number of these clubs. We just have to watch the amazing performance of these players. The new format of these European leagues comes with sampling odds and it will definitely suit the standard of every clubs. Erik Ten Hag is included in the lists for the coaches that will deliver a great job for their clubs. Manchester United have spaced themselves to be always on top and they will always comes infront.

Manchester United if you ask me should be one of the favorite teams to win it because of their quality and star-studded squad.
It should be, but we know how Manchester United have played in the last few seasons, they have been so disappointing and have not shown their identity as one of the big clubs in Europe. Last season, for example, when they were in the Champions League, they were very disappointing and they had to occupy the bottom of the standings, even though in terms of status and the composition of the players they had, they were still better than the 2 clubs that were in their group at that time and at first they were also one of the favorites to be able to qualify for the knockout stages, but they failed to do so.

They are no longer a feared club in Europe, now they are even considered as one of the opponents who can provide great opportunities for their opponents. This is clearly a very bad setback experienced by Manchester United. Their identity has been lost and they cannot leave the quality of the glory days they once achieved in the past.
To be fair it would be alright for them to be not feared in UCL anymore, we saw how they did last season and it makes sense if they are not feared there anymore, but if we are talking about just Europa? They are still better than every team there. This doesn't mean that they are going to win it, last year Liverpool was seen as the best team, and finished third in the league and yet they lost to eventual winners Atalanta, or Leverkusen looked like they have it in the bag, 51 unbeaten games in a row, and then they lost to Atalanta too.

That means, United may look like the best team, and they may still lose, those two things are not exclusive to each other, just because you are the best team, doesn't mean that you are going to win, it just means that you are going to be the best that's it.

I believe that we are going to see no other team be as good as them, it's just not going to happen, and because of that we are going to see them win a lot but maybe not win the whole thing.

The new format is actually easy to understand. Instead of having 32 teams in 8 groups, we have a league consisting of 36 teams in it. No groups anymore. The rules are the same with the Champions League new format like @imamusma mentioned the details. I hope it'd be fun. I'm not even sure if there was any need for such format change but anyway we'll see.  Smiley

No one can stop the changes because we all understand things are going tougher after every year, and we are having more things to do so UEFA is also working on to increase their revenue so they are increasing the number of matches and teams because this will help them for having things on better way in the future.

Ending of relegation through Champions League is surely having some impact but still things will be well, and we will have too many quality clubs will be play here and fans will be also able to watch good soccer as they were having this all in last few years Atlanta done magic and having win of last season from nowhere, so things are always surprising and unpredictable because we are having results like these in history of the UEFA for years.

For a new format, I also still feel or do not know so I can't guess which team has the potential to become a champion like Atalanta last season by defeating Bayer Leverkusen with a score of 3-0 made by a player named Ademola Lokman.
The European League will still be the second league after the Champions League with a decreased attraction. This is just because we still don't recognize the new format, later on the trip, we will understand well.
The UEFA Europa League is one of the hardest competitions to predict it's winner before the start of each campaign because there's every possibility that none of the teams that started the competition will win it at the end since other clubs drop from the UEFA Champions League to join the competition in knockout stages. Atalanta who are the current holders of the competition trophy after defeating Bayer Leverkusen in the final last season will be playing in the UEFA Champions League this season and so is their fellow finalists Bayer Leverkusen who German Bundesliga title last season. Manchester United if you ask me should be one of the favorite teams to win it because of their quality and star-studded squad.
When you ask people to predict the champion of the Champions League, the teams they will say are at most three or four before the season. There is more variety in who will win the Europa League, every season a team can surprise and win the Europa League, this makes this tournament more exciting for me.

While teams like Manchester United and Liverpool were talked about, Atalanta came up last season and Bayern Leverkusen were eliminated in the final.

You may be right and could also be wrong because Manchester United may not be the most favoured team if they fail to withstand the pressure from the Europa league matches during the league format stage wihich is the first round of the competition. The Europa League is a competition that has a number of good teams but with this new format that no teams will be joining from the champions league, it gives Manchester United greater hope to finish their group at the top and eventually makes it to the finals of the competition. They just need to withstand those pressures in the Europa League first round matches and also the same time be at their best in the premier league matches to make everything even for them. It won’t be easy for any team, but they should be able to find a way through.

Probably because it's filled with too many average teams from othe leagues alongside their inconsistencies, it has now made it feel like it's such a hard league to predict as compared to others where the strong are usually clearly differentiated from weak. Another point of slight conflict especially for gamblers is that point where others relegated from the champions league at a level h e ro join in at the Europa, it brings in some confliction with strength as some teams which were supposed to be stronger turns out even the weak ones, but in all you can still carefully find a way with your picks and they will be just fine.

The European League will still be the second league after the Champions League with a decreased attraction. This is just because we still don't recognize the new format, later on the trip, we will understand well.
Just like the previous format of both Champions League and Europa League, the new format has nothing special just that grouping difference. The grouping is make made easier for all, unlike before where some teams will be favored in a group. Now all teams will play against each other in two groups, it will be like points accumulating format just like Leagues, the best sixteen teams will be drawn against each other on the round of 16. This time, I don’t we will expect any team from the Champions League to join the Europa League as it used to be in the past.

Going through all the teams that makes it to the Europa League, I think Manchester United is among the most famous teams and it will likely be among the favorites to win the trophy if Ten Hag uses his players well because the team now have a lot of young talented players.
To underline, the new format implemented by UEFA in the Europa League no longer has a relegation system from the Champions League, the overall format is more or less the same as the Champions League. The only difference is in the early stages, which are now called the League phase with a composition of 36 contestants. If I'm not mistaken, the 1st-8th rankings in the standings will directly qualify for the last 16, and the 9th-24th rankings will advance to the play-off round to advance to the last 16, while the 25th-36th rankings will automatically be eliminated. Clearly the pressure will increase from previous seasons, because each contestant will face eight different teams in the early stages. Sure enough, Manchester United is one of the teams that looks dominant among a number of other contestants, but that is not a guarantee that they will succeed in winning the trophy. We have not forgotten the journey of the Europa League last season, from the group stage to the final no one expected Atalanta to act beyond expectations.

We also don't know how the match will go with this new format because we are used to the old format that started with the group phase, I think the competition will be more difficult, different from before where more and more clubs participated here, even so I am still interested in the Europa League match, the second largest league after the Champions League which is no less competitive, besides the Europa League is more difficult to predict the winner compared to the Champions League where we already know who the strong candidates are.

For a new format, I also still feel or do not know so I can't guess which team has the potential to become a champion like Atalanta last season by defeating Bayer Leverkusen with a score of 3-0 made by a player named Ademola Lokman.

After seeing the game between Manchester city and Manchester United today I begin to almost nurse a doubt about their Europa performance this season if they are going to be really awesome and even brilliant enough to be lucky with the trophy, teams like Roma, and other regular Europa teams who will be participating this season and are very willing to win the trophies will definitely not give Manchester United a chance of this will be their performance.

We have not seen good performance from Manchester United players, but that does not mean they cannot improve when playing in various official competitions later. In fact, United players know very well the game plan that Ten Hag has implemented, unfortunately they have not been able to maximize it as well as possible. Moreover, the hunt for several newcomers that they are targeting has not been completed. It is possible that Ten Hag will bring in several new players to Old Trafford before the transfer window closes. I do not know what Ten Hag will plan in the future, especially since several of their players were forced to be absent due to injuries during the pre-season match. We will see when Manchester United plays after the League starts, so we will have an idea of their performance.

With no much doubt, I think Roma will even be a challenge to Manchester United, I know city isn't a small team but at some point even their top players where substituted yet Manchester United failed at getting it right. At this point it becomes very necessary Manchester United works hard towards every form of improvement without hesitation.

Talking about AS Roma, they are a regular team that enters the semifinals in this competition. However, the performance of AS Roma players has not been impressive in their pre-season matches. But it is natural, after all they are only playing friendly matches. I once said in a previous post that AS Roma has the potential to target the Europa League trophy. It is possible that Roma can provide a challenge for Manchester United if they meet, but in any case United actually has a chance to defeat AS Roma. Before going too far to speculate, it would be more exciting if we just follow every development.

If Trabzonspor get eliminated in this round, it would be really surprising to me. I never thought they would lose to Rapid Wien home. There is normally a significant gap of quality between. But here we are.

Turkish teams are really not good at having a solid start to a season.  Sad  These are the first games for Trabzonspor and they don't look ready yet. But I hope it doesn't end up with their elimination.

Because probably I will bet on Trabzonspor to qualify anyway. You know 4.80 odds are really difficult to refuse.  Tongue  It is only 1-0 advantage for Rapid Wien which makes it quite possible.

Sevilla is the team that can record the most achievements in the Europa League, so their presence is actually quite awaited because they always show good things, unfortunately they can't be here this season because they failed to get a ticket. But there are still some teams that can be relied on and I hope they can create a very fierce competition so that we can enjoy the competition in this Europa League. Indeed, this is the second caste of competition in Europe after the Champions League, so it's no wonder that here we also see interesting competition. But we can't compare what we see here with what we see in the Champions League, because the Champions League is at a different level. But at least we can see a lot of competition and also give opportunities to teams that can't go to the Champions League because they are still not able to be there.
Sevilla become most success teams in Europe League after become most winner but they had very poor performance recently last several years ago in domestic league, its difficult position for Sevilla although have much experience for participating in Europe League but get difficult for securing UEFA Europe League spot standings position. Last season, Sevilla finished on 14th standings place and left many standings position to secure one place for participating on UEFA Europe League.

Sevilla must improve their performance in domestic league and reach UEFA Europe League spot standings finish if want return back to Europe League, behind La Liga still have the same format quota there are not any choose for Sevilla except secure the top sixth standings position in domestic league for next season if want get one place on Europe League season 2025/26.
What happened to Sevilla was quite surprising, last season they were really down and almost relegated and fortunately at the end of the season they rose so they were able to finish in 14th position. Even though Sevilla was the winner of the Europa League trophy the previous season, the next season (last season) should have been better after getting the Europa League trophy, but what happened was the opposite. There were many problems internally in Sevilla, especially financial problems, which caused them to slump last season.

In other words, it can be said that the King can rest, and Sevilla will not win the UEL League trophy again in the next few years from now on. Because to rise from the slump in my opinion it takes time. Sevilla must completely overhaul in order to return to being the king of the Europa League.

I like this, if Roma is the MU's challenge then it seems to me that it is something very good, I want to see a connected MU, against Man City they did not do bad, knowing that what they played was only a pre-season game, but enough to realize that things were very evident at the time of playing, but as I said, in these competitions like the Europa League, the level increases to great levels, they want to be the best, they want to earn that place in the UCL by being first, that is why this Europa League fascinates me, I want to see Roma's level at the top.

Sevilla's Europa League dominance? Fantastic. But how does their La Liga fare? That is a fire in a dumpster. Exchanging Koundé, Rakitic? Boneheads walk. Navas retires, En-Nesyri's gone - that's your spine, pulled out. Sevilla has bleeding ability that is evident. This is poor management not alone bad luck. Fast rebuilding is what they need. Not only to rejoin the Europa League but also to remain current in La Liga

The lesson is rather clear: you cannot sell off your top players and hope for success. You really need a strong team even in the Europa League. Sevilla's a sobering lesson. Let's see whether they grow from their errors
When talking about overall statistics, it is undeniable that Sevilla's dominance in Serie A is very impressive and it should be remembered that to achieve this, of course, there is also a good performance in domestic competitions because after all Sevilla can be in the Europa League and Champions League because of their good performance in La Liga first.

https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/history/winners/

With 7 trophies as well as the most trophy holders in the Europa League until now it indicates that Sevilla still has a strong dominance.
It's just that that performance has not gone well in recent seasons where their dominance seems to be lost due to poor performance and mistakes in managing player transfers because Sevilla's initial mistake occurred because they spent too many core players for money which in the end their performance became chaotic.
A teams strength has got a good relativity with their management but most times people push the blame around on the coach, it's good to see sevila showing off as a typical example to what poor management can cause to a team, before now they were in a very outstanding form of which they still maintain a record second to non in the Europa League as one of the most successful in the Europa but I doubt if they can contend now to add to the records if they get a chance to participate in the Europa. If only they are going to make the necessary adjustments and get the team back in its perfect form or better put, progressive improving form, they are very likely to gradually get back improving their performance.

The new format that is more directed at fairness for each team must also make each coach smarter in managing their players so that they are not too tired because all teams will face a tight schedule and will affect the level of player rotation in each team. I also hope that there can be more surprises in the Europa League this season even though there are no more Atalanta and Leverkusen, but there are still several other strong teams that will compete in the Europa League this season with quite complete strength.
Coaches must be able to maintain their squad's performance amidst a tight schedule, the new format will increase the number of matches played and the competition will be even fiercer. Player rotation must be done to prevent players from getting tired and risking injury. Surprises may happen again this season like Atalanta did last season. Manchester United who are very active in the transfer market have managed to bring in several quality players. It seems that Ten Hag is very serious about the Europa League this time and wants to bring Manchester United to win the UEL trophy.
