It's better not to focus on trophies first, they should first focus on improving their performance. Because if their performance improves and is very good, then a trophy will be able to come to them. Allowing Erik ten Hag remain as the coach of the Manchester United team till the end of last season of you ask me wasn't a bad decision by the management of Manchester United because I think he needed that time to prove himself but the contract extension they signed with him in the summer was where I think they got it all wrong. How do you extend the contract of a manager who was happy with winning just the English FA Cup and helping Manchester United qualify to play in the UEFA Europa League competition this season when they actually deserve more considering the amount of money spent to improve the squad during ten Hag's time at the club.

No matter how bad Man United's financial situation is, the team management will try for the sake of the team's performance to be able to win the title in this European league. In my opinion, this is not something to worry about as long as Amorim is really experienced, he can definitely bring in suitable players to help MU without having to buy players at expensive prices.
Amorim only needs players who really have high productivity and of course all of that doesn't need to waste too much money. We see several teams that only have ordinary players but they can have stable performance.
